I put my phone in my shorts and began to march to her room. Oh lord, I was furious. It's just been a day, hell not even an entire day just a few hours she moved in completely. She didn't have much stuff with her, just some cartons and a huge ass canvases and painting stand. So it was pretty quick for her to move in.

At present, it was fucking 3 in morning. Kids were sleeping soundly, Minhee in her room and Minwoo was sleeping in mine. I, as usual, was awake and was doing work along with talking with ramen— until I heard some noises, barely audible. I walked out of my room and realized it was coming from that weird girl's room.

Not going to lie. When I first met her, as a stranger and someone who kinda saved my child, she was good. I didn't have a problem with her. But now, when I met her as a paying guest, she was weird and creepy. I didn't like her at all, however I needed money urgently. She was the first, and only person who replied to the ad. Also, she looked promising, the way she said she won't break any rules made me believe she could be a good roomer; so I signed the contract with her.

I was wrong.

I knocked on the door harshly, and without waiting for her to open the door, I opened the door because I wanted to catch her red handed. It was Minwoo's room earlier so it didn't have any locks. My confused stared met hers as I entered the room. I looked at her who was about to stand up from the floor. I looked around, she was sitting on a plastic mat, colors all around her along with various tools and brushes. Her phone and ramen bowl was beside her, the canvas was half way done, her hands were colored with the paints.

"Mr. Park?" She drew my attention. I looked at her, my eyebrows creased.

"I heard some noises from here."

"Noises?" Confusion spread all over her face.

"Yeah, noises."

"I wasn't making any noises—wait oh my god." Her eyes widened and mouth parted. "Earlier I was laughing."

"Laughing." She was lying, and I knew it.

"Yeah like this." She let out a laugh, similar to a witch. And that was the exact noises I heard.

"Then don't laugh Ms. Kim." My strict tone made her shut up. "It's 3 fucking am in morning, my kids are sleeping, and I don't want your laugh to wake them up, so I suggest it will be better if you sleep too." I turned around and walked out of the door. I shook my head, what an annoying ass.

I closed the door and laid beside Minwoo, I smiled when I saw him sleeping soundly. I leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead. I got into comfortablely postion and opened my phone.

It was nothing

Ramen:
OH LORDDDDD

Me:

Ramen:

I didn't wait for her to bid me goodbye. I exit the app and put my phone away. I started the ceiling, regretting my life decisions. Whenever I talk to her, I find myself traumatized at the end of the conversation and I often ask myself.

Was it worth it?

A soft smile formed on my lips. It was only because no matter how much she traumatized me, at the end of the day this is the only thing I look forward to.

I sighed, I wish we could talk more but I needed to sleep and she had to go to...poo. I closed my eyes and removed my t-shirt, feeling hot. My eyes went to the air con which was not working at all.

Tomorrow I need to call the AC repairer.

I closed my eyes and tried to relax my head, hoping to sleep to engulf me. But I couldn't, because I had an urge to piss.

Fuck!

It always happens with me, whenever I want to sleep or whenever I'm too comfortable in bed it is always the sudden urge to piss that comes out of nowhere.

I mumbled some curse words under my breath and stood up, walking out of my room. Why did I have to get out of bed when I was almost about to sleep.

I knew my apartment like the back of my hand but I could barely see in the dark so I turned on the lights on my way out. The light illuminated my vision, it took me a couple of seconds to get accustomed to the sudden brightness and when I did I saw something which made my eyes wide.

How could I forget I was the only insomniac in this house?

She was standing near the kitchen counter, her eyes wide, water was dripping down from her mouth to the glass she was holding. Her eyes ranked all over my half naked figure, and as soon as she realized that I knew that she was staring at me— she covered her eyes with her free hands. She put the glass on the counter, and with her covered eyes ran to her room, almost stumbling on her feets and falling down.

"I didn't see anything!" She informed as soon as she entered her room, and closed the door. I sighed and covered my embarrassed face because,

We both knew, she saw everything.
