Arnav moved out of his office earlier than usual, With an unusually good mood. All of his staff looked shocked as their usually rude and arrogant workaholic boss was unusually calmed down today. Even his ever so loyal Personal Assistant cum best friend Aman was forced to rub his eyes repeatedly in order to ascertain that he wasn't indeed hallucinating as he saw ASR smiling to himself at different times of the day.

And why not, It's not everyday that you realize that you've fallen in love. Arnav was desperately looking forward for his day in the office to end. Waiting desperately to go to his farmhouse to meet her. His love. Khushi..

Filled with anticipation.. Excited beyond words.. Arnav made his way towards the garden of his mother. As he proceeded forward, His being filled with an unnamed fear and anxiety. What if she didn't come today? What if the other night was just a lucky night? What if she didn't want to be.. With him? What if she preferred being alone? What if he was imposing himself on her? What if...

All his what ifs came to a halt as Arnav felt soothing cold breeze caress his face. His eyes darted upwards to the entrance of the farmhouse. She was wearing a Baby Pink and Blue Kameez paired with a Blue Palazo. The dupatta flying in the air behind her. Hair left open were dancing in the breeze making her look angelic.

"Khushi.." Arnav whispered in a trance.

Khushi smiled at him wholeheartedly. "So you finally decide to show up. I thought you'd not come." Khushi said

"My sister and Brother in law are.. Supposed to visit every weekend." Arnav explained

Khushi smiled and settled on the swing in the garden.

"You're looking beautiful Khushi" Arnav complemented

Khushi blushed and Arnav smirked

"You.. Missed me?" He asked

"No.. I just thought you'd be here" Khushi said.

"Alright. So what did you do when.. I wasn't there?" He asked

"Nothing... The silence is sometimes a great companion. But not always" Khushi whispered

"I hope I am too" Arnav said

"Of course.. You are" Khushi said

Arnav smiled

"Who all are there in your family?" She asked

"There's my sister.. Anjali. My brother in law Mayank Kashyap, They live in GK but they visit us often. Every weekend actually. Then.. There's my Nani Ma.. Maamaji and Maamiji and their son, My cousin brother Akash and his wife Payal" Arnav explained

"Woaahh!! You've got a huge family" Khushi exclaimed her eyes shining in amazement. Making Arnav smile heartily at her.

"Don't you have a family? Who all are there in yours?" Arnav asked

"I.. I don't have a family" She confided

"Oh.. I am sorry. I.. Didn't know" Arnav gasped

"It's okay.. Don't worry" Khushi said assuringly

"So.. Where do you live?" Arnav asked

"Three blocks Away, Trinity Apartments" She said

Arnav nodded.

"Akeli rehti ho? (You live alone?)" Arnav asked

"Most of the times.." She answered

They talked on for god knows how long. Arnav asked her things about herself, At first she was reserve... But gradually Arnav succeeded in making her to talk a little more freely with himself. She told him about her mother.. Whom she didn't remember much.

"She had named me. She had always wanted a daughter, They say." She whispered

"They?" He enquired

"My mother.. Died a few months after my birth. I was brought up by.. My fosters. They were good friends with my mom. They.. Told me stuff" Khushi said

"But.. You said you don't have a family" He said

"They died.. When I was 12. It's been 8 years.. I don't remember much about them either." Khushi said

"Oh"

"Will you push me?" Khushi asked with childish excitement. Arnav smiled looking at her cute expression. She certainly knew how to lighten up the atmosphere.

"I can certainly do that." Arnav said and moved to stand behind her and pushed her.

Khushi clutched the sides of the swing tightly and closed her eyes feeling the gush of air on her face making her hair sway backwards. She giggled like a small child enjoying the ride.

"You're very cute" Arnav said admiring her laughing form

Khushi smiled at him

"Please don't mind my childishness Arnavji" Khushi said

"Hey... Why are you thinking like that., Your smile is very beautiful Khushi.. Don't ever lose it" Arnav said

Khushi's smile faded and that didn't go unnoticed by Arnav who frowned

"Khushi.." Arnav nudged

"Ji.." Khushi stuttered

"Are you okay Khushi?" He asked

"Yeah.. I am fine" Khushi said composing herself

"So.. Do you want to come inside.. The farmhouse?" Arnav asked

"No.. I think I should probably leave now. It's late" Khushi said making him pout but he schooled his expressions into a smile

"Okay.. You got your vehicle today as well?" Arnav asked

Khushi nodded

"Take care" Arnav said

"You too" She smiled at him

Arnav walked her till her car and she drove off towards her home, Not before saying a good-bye

Arnav sat in the hall of his farmhouse with a smile. The image of her laughing self never leaving his mind. Her beautiful doe eyes twinkling with excitement, Her cute childish expressions. Her cute giggles... Oh who wouldn't fall for such an innocent beauty. Arnav wasn't an exception either.

"I have fallen for you Khushi.. I really have.. And I'm more than sure about it! But maybe it's too early for you to know that. Being friends is better for now. Coz you're scared right now. Maybe of me.. Maybe of this new relationship. And both of us need to know what we want... What we expect from life.. From each other. We both need to be comfortable around each other. We both need to be confident about each other. We both need to trust each other. And I am willing to wait. Because I love you Khushi.. I have fallen for you so hard. There's no way out of this now.. Kahaan Phansaa dia tumne Angel (Where have you stuck me)" Arnav mused silently

Arnav leaned backwards and closed his eyes.
