Sana went to her room and closed the door. Then she lay on the bed and buried her face in the pillow. She started crying.

"Main soch bhi nahi sakti thi ki tu itna niche gir sakta hai. Mera exam kharab karne ke liye tune itna sab kuch kiya? Phir se mere saath pyaar ka natak kiya? Main hi bewakoof hoon jo maine doobara tujh par trust kiya. Nahi karna chahiye tha mujhe. Nahi karna chahiye tha." Sana said in her mind.

Then she sat up and wiped her tears. Then she looked at her books.

"Bohut kar liya tune mera use. Ab aur nahi. Main iss baar exam mein acche no. laa ke dikhaungi. Main bhi dekhi hoon koi kaise mujhe rokta hai."

Next Day In The School....

It was the last day of school. After that the board exams would start. Most of the students were spending there times with their friends as much as possible. But Sid was the one who didn't get the chance.

As soon as Sid entered the classroom, he saw Sana sitting on another bench, not in her first bench. There was one more student in her bench so Sid couldn't sit beside her.

That day the teachers didn't teach that much. They were talking about the students' future and giving goodbye speech.

The whole day Sid tried to talk to Sana but she was avoiding him. Sid became confused. At first she didn't come to meet him last night, neither she received his calls. And now she was avoiding him. Sid couldn't understand why she was doing so.

That day, the school ended a little bit earlier. Sana was about to leave but Sid stopped her by holding her hand.

"Why are you ignoring me?" Sid asked.

"Sid, haath chhor mera. Mujhe ghar jaana hai." Sana said in a stern voice while freeing her hand.

"Tu mere saath iss tone mein kyu baat kar rahi hai? What have I done?" Sid asked being confused.

Sana looked at him angrily and said, "Tujhe nahi paata tune kya kiya hai?"

"Nahi. Main kaal tera wait kar raha tha ground pe, lekin tu nahi aayi. Mere calls aur messages ke reply bhi nahi diye tune. Aur ab school mein bhi tu mujhe ignore kar rahi hai. Kyu kar rahi hai tu aisa?"

"Main studies mein busy thi. Isliye nahi aa paayi." Sana said briefly.

"At least call kar ke toh...."

"Kyu karu main tujhe call? Yeh kuch weeks mere liye bohut vital hai. Mujhe apni studies pe focus karna hai. Inn sab faltu chizo ke liye mere paas time nahi hai. Isliye tu jo chahta hai woh ab nahi ho sakta."

"Main jo chahta hoon matlab?"

"Tu toh yeh hi chahta hai ki main inn sab pyaar vyaar ke chakkar mein phas jau. Inn sab chizo mein itna involve ho jaau ki mera exam kharab ho jaaye. Right?"

"Main yeh chahta hoon?" Sid asked her with disbelief. "Sana main humesha se tujhe successful dekhna chahta hoon. Main kabhi nahi chahta ki meri wajah se tera exam kharab ho jaaye. Why will I want that?"

"Taa ki tu exam mein mujhse bhi zyada accha kare." Sana said making Sid shocked.

"Main teri sab se badi competitor hoon nah? Main agar tere raaste se hat gayi toh board exam mein school ke saare students mein se sab se zyada marks tere hi aayenge. Hai nah? Mujhe saari sacchai paata chal chuki hai. Isliye ab yeh acting band kar. Teri planning kya hai woh main acche se jaan chuki hoon."

Sid got very much hurt.

"Planning? Tujhe lagta hai yeh sab meri planning hai? Main tera exam kharab karna chahta hoon?"

"Aur nahi toh kya?"

"Thik hai. Main tujhse aur kuch nahi kahunga. Tu apna exam acche se de." Sid said and left Sana's hand.

"Waise tune mere saath jo bhi kiya ho, main humesha tera accha hi chahungi. Isliye exams ke liye all the best. Mujhe yakeen hai ki tu accha karega." Sana said and left from there.

Sid kept standing there numb. He had nothing to say.

"Toh Sana ko paata chal gaya ki kaal maine usse propose karne ke liye bulaya tha? I understand, maine uski baat nahi maani. Exams se pehle hi usse propose karne ka plan banaya. Lekin mujhe nahi paata tha woh iss baat ka itna bura maan jaayegi. Yeh soch baithegi ki maine uska exam kharab karne ke liye yeh sab kiya. Jab ki mere liye khud se bhi zyada uska success matter karta hai. Sana, agar tujhe aisa lagta hai, then I will prove you wrong. Exam khatam hone tak main tujhe bilkool disturb nahi karunga, tujhse baat tak nahi karunga. Khud bhi studies pe focus karunga, kyu ki yeh tu chahti thi. Aur exam khatam hote hi tujhse puchunga ki tune mere baare mein aisa kyu kaha. Khud se kaha yaa kisi se influence hoke kaha? Tab tujhe mujhe answer dena hoga." Sid said in his mind.

Soon there Board Exams started. All the students were studying hard as all of their futures were depended on it.

Sid and Sana didn't meet after that day. They both were busy in exam. They both maintained distance from each other and didn't try to talk.

It was their last exam. After coming out of the exam hall, all the students were biding goodbye to each other. They were wishing each other good luck for future. Some were taking selfies while some had tears in their eyes. Students were writing on each other's school uniform.

After coming out of the exam hall, Sana was going to leave. Suddenly she heard a familiar voice.

"Sana!"

Sana turned and found Sid.

"How was the exam?" Sid asked.

Sana gave a slight smile and said, "Good. And yours?"

"Very good. Saal bhar tune jo suggestions diye, woh mere bohut kaam aaye hai."

Sana became happy hearing that Sid gave the exams very well. But she didn't express it.

"Accha, main abhi chalti hoon."

Sana was to leave but Sid suddenly said, "Ab aage kya Sana?"

"Matlab?" Sana asked.

"Tere exams toh ab khatam ho gaye. I hope ab main tujhse humare baare mein baat kar sakta hoon. Iss mein mera koi aur galat intention nahi hoga."

"Baat karne ko kuch bacha nahi hai."

"Bacha nahi hai matlab?" Sid came closer and said, "Sana you know that I love you. It's not any kind of joke. Tu aise hi mujhe phir se chhor ke nahi jaa sakti, woh bhi bina kisi reason ke."

"Pyaar ki baat toh tu mat hi kar. Riston ki kadar hai tujhe?" Sana said angrily.

"Mujhe toh hai. Par sayad tujhe nahi hai. Isliye toh uss din mujh par jhute allegations laga diye jab ki tujhe acche se paata hai main tujhse kitna pyaar karta hoon. Tera bura main kabhi soch bhi nahi sakta. That day I didn't speak a word to justify myself. Kyu ki uss din mere saamne meri Sana nahi, meri competitor khadi thi. Lekin ab toh yeh competition and all khatam ho chuka hai. Ab mujhe jaan na hai tune mere saath waise behave kyu kiya. Akhir galti kya thi meri?"

Sana didn't say anything. She couldn't understand why Sid was demanding answers from her now. The exams were over. Then why wasn't he living her alone and spending time with his love? What did he want?

"Answer me damn it!" Sid said loudly breaking Sana's thoughts.

"Nahi dena mujhe koi jawab. I'm not answerable to you. Leave me alone. Ab toh exams bhi khatam ho chuke hai. Ab toh mera picha chhor de." Sana said with teary eyes and started leaving.

Sid started going after her.

"Nahi chhorunga main tera picha jab tak tu mujhe jawab nahi de deti. Humare bich toh sab kuch thik hogaya tha nah? Phir yeh ignorance kyu? Agar koi misunderstanding hui hai toh clear kar lete hai nah."

"Mujhe kuch clear nahi karwana. Leave me alone Sid." Sana said without looking at Sid. She was trying her best to avoid him.

"Kyu clear nahi karwana? Kahi aisa toh nahi ki tu mujhse pyaar hi nahi karti?"

"Haan nahi karti main tujhse pyaar." Sana said loudly looking at him. Tears were coming out of her eyes.

"Aur main regret karti hoon ki tujh jaise insaan se maine kabhi pyaar kiya bhi tha. Nahi rakhna chahti main tere saath koi bhi relation. Mil gaya tujhe tera answer? Ab mera picha mat karna."

Sid became shocked. His eyes became watery. He couldn't understand what was his fault. When everything was going great, why Sana did this? Why she suddenly changed her mind? Why she broke all her relations with him?

"Toh tu sach mein mujhse pyaar nahi karti?" Sid asked. Still he couldn't believe Sana's words.

"Nahi karti. Ab kya likh ke doon? Wait, likh ke hi deti hoon." Sana said and took out her pen from her bag.

Then she went near Sid and wrote something on his shirt.

"Hope we never meet again." Sana uttered.

Sid was very much broken hearing that. His whole world turned upside down.

Sana started leaving from there. But neither she could control her tears nor she could hide it from Sid.

"Mujhe yakeen nahi ho raha ki main abhi bhi tere liye aanshu baha rahi hoon. Jis insaan ne mujhe ek baar nahi do do baar dhoka diya hai, jis insaan ne mera itna bura chaha, main chah kar bhi uss se nafrat nahi kar paa rahi hoon. Uss se aise baat kar ke mujhe khud bura lag raha hai. Lekin kyu? Kya abhi bhi uss se pyaar.... Nahi, main uss se pyaar nahi kar sakti. Aur woh? Woh bhi mujhse pyaar nahi karta. Rashmi se karta hai. Uss din Asim ne mujhe sab sach baata diya. Woh Sid ka bestfriend hai, jhut kyu bolega? Phir Sid kyu abhi bhi mere piche pada hai? Ab kya chahta hai woh?" Sana said in her mind.

On the other hand, Sid noticed tears in Sana's eyes and smiled sadly.

"Tu chahe kuch bhi kahe, your tears prove that you love me. Mujhe samajh mein nahi aa raha ki tu kyu mere baare mein yeh sab soch rahi hai. I'm sure kisi ne tujhse kuch kaha hai. Woh toh main paata laga kar rahunga. Aur tujhe realise bhi karwaunga ki tu mujhse pyaar karti hai." Sid said in his mind.

After the Board Exam, Sid left the Hostel and went to home. It was the time when he need his mother the most. He stopped talking to anyone except his mother. All the day he locked himself in the room. He didn't hang out with his friends. Even he didn't go to football practice. Neither he eat properly nor he slept properly. His health was deteriorating. His mother became very much worried about her son.

On the other hand, Sana's condition was not good either. She kept herself busy in the preparation of NEET exam. But she lost her smile. She stopped speaking that much. The bubbly and fun-loving Sana was, however, vanished.

One day she was reading in her room. Suddenly her phone rang.

She looked at the phone's screen and uttered, "Rita Aunty?"

She received the call and said, "Haan Aunty Ji boliye."

Rita Ji said something. Hearing that Sana's face turned pale. She became very much tensed.

"Aunty Ji aap chinta mat karo....Haan main abhi aati hoon." Sana said and left her room.
