Mr. Khanna kept lying on the ground after Sid hit him badly. Some teachers came, hold his hands and helped him to stand up.

"What's this behaviour Sidharth? You can't hit your teacher so badly without any reason. Do you know I can suspend you even I can expel you for this?" The Principal said angrily.

Sana looked at Sid being worried. But Sid gave her a look to assure her that nothing would happen.

"Sir, it's true that I hit him badly. But he deserves this. And I didn't do this without any reason. Just hear me out for one time. I can explain." Sid said.

"Ok. Give your explanation." The Principal said.

Sid looked at Sana and said, "Now it's your time to speak. Tell them everything Sana and don't be afraid."

Sana stayed quiet for sometime. After that she took a deep breath and said, "Principal Sir, Mr. Khanna tried to molest me."

Everyone became shocked hearing that.

"What? Mr. Khanna, is this true?" The Principal asked.

"N.... no Sir. She is lying. Molestation? I can't even imagine doing this to my students." Mr. Khanna said.

"Iski toh....." Sid became angry and tried to move but Sana hold his hand.

"Nahi Sid. Tu ab kuch nahi karega." Sana said and then looked at the Principal.

"Sir, I have proof." Sana said and took out her phone which was hidden under her shirt.

She started a voice recording. The conversation between her and Mr. Khanna was fully recorded and everyone heard it.

Now there was no one left to know the truth. Still Mr. Khanna tried to save himself for one last time.

"Yeh jhut hai. This recording is edited. Iss mein humara adha conversation hai. Main aap ko pura sach baata ta hoon. This girl came to me. Keh rahi thi biology mein full marks de di jiye badle mein mujhe har tarah se khush kar degi. Maine kaha yeh thik nahi hai. Phir bhi yeh zidd karne lagi. Aur jab main nahi maana, isne mujhe fasane ki koshis ki." He said.

Sid started laughing.

"Wow! What a story! Story bana te waqt at least thoda sa logic use kar leta. Sana na class ki topper hai. Usse full marks score karne ke liye yeh sab karne ki zaroorat nahi padhti. Accha chal maan bhi liya ki usne yeh sab kiya hai. Toh phir woh sirf tere paas hi kyu aayi? Baaki male teachers ke paas bhi toh jaa sakti thi. Unke paas kyu nahi gayi?" He said.

Mr. Khanna looked at the Principal and said, "Sir, trust me, yeh dono mile hue hai. Sidharth isliye yeh sab keh raha hai. Main itne dino se yaaha padhata hoon, aap toh jaante hai nah mujhe. Main aisa kar sakta hoon? Shehnaaz Gill jo bhi keh rahi hai sab jhut hai."

"Nahi. Shehnaaz sach keh rahi hai." Suddenly a girl said.

"Yeh saalon se yeh sab karte aa rahe hai. Inhone humein bhi molest kiya hai." Another girl said.

"Yeh humesha hum sabko galat nazar se dekhte aaye hai. Aur agar hum inke desires fulfil nahi karte toh yeh humein fail kara dene ka threat dete hai."

"Uss darr se hum ne kabhi kisi ko kuch nahi bola aur inki baat maan li."

"Yeh insaan nahi jaanwar hai. He should be arrested right now."

When every girls started speaking, there was nothing left for Mr. Khanna to say.

"Shame on you Mr. Khanna! Students are like our children. Aur aap unhi ke saath....... Chii! Sabse zyada bura toh iss baat ka lag raha hai ki humare school mein saalon se yeh crime hota aa raha hai aur humein paata bhi nahi. Lekin aap jaise criminal ko saaza zaroor milegi. Job toh apki already jaa chuki hai and I'm calling the cops right now." The Principal said.

"No need Sir. I've already called the cops. They are on the way." Sid said.

After sometime the police arrived and arrested Mr. Khanna.

"Ek minute rukiye." Sana said to the cops and went to Mr. Khanna.

"Sir, aap ko ek chiz deni thi. Woh bina liye aap kaise jaa sakte hai?" Sana said.

Suddenly she gave Mr. Khanna a tight slap.

"Yeh thappad unn saari ladkiyon ki taraf se jin ki zindagi tune barbaad ki hai. Officer, le jaiye isse and make sure ki iski badi se badi saaza ho." Sana said.

The officer nodded and left with Mr. Khanna.

After sometime, the Principal came to Sana and said, "You are such a brave girl Shehnaaz! Aaj aap ki wajah se bohut ladkiyon ki zindagi barbaad hone se bach gayi."

Sana smiled.

Then the Principal looked at Sid and again said to Sana, "Also you are very lucky to have a friend like Sidharth in your life."

Sid and Sana both looked at each other.

Flashback...

"Maine decision liya hai ki main usko maana kar dungi." Sana said.

"Lekin phir toh tu...."

Sana didn't let Shivangi complete and said, "fail ho jaungi. Paata hai mujhe. Lekin apni izzat ka sauda karne se accha hai ki main fail ho jau. Chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye, main khud ko usse chhune nahi dungi."

Shivangi felt helpless as she couldn't do anything for her best friend.

"Kise chhune nahi degi?"

Suddenly a voice came and both Shivangi and Sana looked at the door. Sid was standing there.

They both stood up and tried to leave the classroom without giving any reply.

But Sid blocked Sana's way and said, "Tune jawab nahi diya."

"Sid, mujhe jaane de." Sana without looking at him.

"Pehle baata kya hua hai. I overheard you conversation. Koi badtameezi kar raha hai tere saath? Blackmail kar raha hai tujhe? Tu bas naam baata. Main uska muh tod dunga."

"Dekh Sid aisa kuch nahi hai. Everything is fine."

Sid got angry and hold her arms tightly.

"Meri aankhon mein dekh ke bol sab kuch thik hai." He said.

Sana couldn't look at him.

"Come on Sana! Look at me." Sid shouted.

Shivangi lost her patience and said, "Uss se kya puch raha hai? Main baata ti hoon tujhe kya hua hai."

Shivangi told him everything. Sid became shocked hearing this. He looked at Sana with moist eyes.

"Tere saath itna kuch ho gaya aur tune mujhe baataya tak nahi? Am I not your friend?" He said.

Sana didn't say anything.

"Friend?" Shivangi laughed sarcastically.

"Woh friend jo humesha usko humesha akela chhor deta hai. Agar kaal tu library mein Sana ko akela nahi chhor ta toh yeh sab kuch nahi hota. Zaroorat ke waqt paas hota nahi hai, bada aaya friend! Tere jaisa irresponsible dost maine aaj tak nahi dekha." Shivangi said.

A sudden guilt rushed through Sid's nerves. Shivangi was right. If he didn't go out with Rashmi and leave Sana alone, nothing would happen. When Sana need him the most, he was not there for her. He was enjoying with Rashmi. He became very much angry on himself. He totally blamed himself for the situation.

"Shivangi, iss mein Sid ki kya galti hai? Usse kya paata tha mere saath yeh sab hoga? Aur uss Mr. Khanna ki nazar mujh par bohut pehle se thi. Aaj nahi toh kaal yeh hona hi tha." Sana said.

"No Sana. Shivangi is right. Saari galti meri hai. Mujhe tujhe aise akela chhor ke nahi jaana chahiye tha. Lekin ab tujhe darne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Main tujhe iss situation se bahar nikal ke rahunga." Sid said.

"Lekin kaise?" Sana asked.

"We need a good plan. Aaj school ke baad tu Mr. Khanna ke office mein jayegi, lekin apne mobile ka voice recorder on kar ke. Mobile ko shirt ke neeche chhupa dena. Iss se uss Mr. Khanna ko paata bhi chalega aur sab kuch record bhi jayega."

"This is a great plan. But we need more proofs. Woh Mr. Khanna bohut chalak hai. I don't trust that man." Shivangi said.

"Exactly. We need more proofs. Listen Sana, tu aur Shivangi school ke baki ladkiyon se baat kar. Woh itne dino se iss school mein hai. I'm sure usne bohut ladkiyon ke saath aisa kiya hoga. Woh log bas kabhi kuch bol nahi paaye. Tum log unhe convince karna taa ki woh Sana ke support mein bole."

Both Sana and Shivangi nodded.

"He tried to harm my Sana. Ab dekhta hoon woh kaise bachta hai." Sid said in his mind.

Later that night...

Santokh Ji entered the house and Parminder Ji ran to him.

"Aap ne suna aaj school mein kya hua?" She said to her husband.

"Haan suna. Uss teacher ka case mere paas hi aaya hai. Main bhi dekhta hoon woh jail se kaise bahar nikal ta hai." Santokh Ji said.

"Haaye meri Bacchi! Paata nahi kya beeti hogi uss par. Lekin ajeeb baat hai, usne humein kuch bhi nahi baataya."

"Uska nature hi aisa hai. Andar hi andar marr jayegi lekin muh se kuch nahi bolegi taa ki hum pareshaan na ho."

"Abhi bhi kamre mein hai. Sayad uss haadse ko bhul nahi paa rahi. Main jaa ke baat karu uss se?"

"Nahi. Filhaal usse thodi der akela chhor do."

In Sana's room...

Sana was thinking about the incident. She was in a trauma. She couldn't forget it easily. The moment, when Mr. Khanna tried to molest her, was roaming around her mind.

Suddenly she heard a knock on the balcony door. She became more afraid.

"K... kaun hai?" Her voice trembled.

"Sana it's me. Sid." Sid said.

Sana breathed a sigh of relief and opened the balcony door. Sid immediately entered the room and hugged Sana tightly. It was a bone crushing hug. At first Sana couldn't understand how to react. But soon she hugged him back and buried her face in his chest. She felt peace in his embrace. Her trauma went away and she felt protected in his arms. They stood like this for a few minutes.

After that they broke the hug and looked at each other.

Sana nodded and said, "Haan Sid main thik hoon."

Sid hold Sana's both hands and put them on his chest.

"Paata hai mujhe bohut chinta ho rahi thi. Ek baar socha call kar ke puch loon ki tu thik hai yaa nahi. Lekin jab tak main tujhe saamne se nahi dekh paa raha tha, mujhe bohut restless feel ho raha tha. Isliye yaaha chala aaya."

Sana smiled and said, "Dekh main tere saamne hi khadi hoon. Ab toh yakeen ho gaya na ki main thik hoon?"

Sid smiled sadly and said, "Kaise yakeen karu? Tu chahe jitni bhi problem mein ho, mujhe kabhi nahi baatayegi. Tu kyu karti hai aisa? Kya tujhe bhi yeh lagta hai ki tere saath jo bhi hua uska zinmedaar mein hoon? Isliye tune mujhe kuch nahi baataya?"

"Nahi Sid. Iss mein teri koi galti nahi hai. Maine tujhe nahi baataya kyu ki tera gusse pe kabu nahi rehta. Aur main nahi chahti thi ki meri wajah se tujhe suspended yaa expelled hona pade. Yaad hai tu kaise maar raha tha uss Mr. Khanna ko?"

"Maarunga." Sid said loudly.

"Usne tujhe molest karne ki koshis ki. Koi tere saath aisa kare woh main bardaasht nahi kar sakta. Aur agar aage bhi kisi ne tere saath badtameezi ki toh main yeh hi karunga. Mere rehte koi tujhe haath tak nahi laga sakta." Sid said. His eyes became red.

Sana noticed it. First time she saw a hidden love in his eyes. Maybe it was her imagination. Maybe she was over thinking. But she couldn't deny what she saw.

"Abhi yeh sab chhor. Bohut raat ho chuki hai. I think tujhe hostel wapas jaana chahiye." Sana said to calm him down.

"Tujhe chhor ke jaane ka mann nahi kar raha. Agar teri permission ho toh main aaj yeh hi ruk jau?"

If it was some other guy, she would say no. She couldn't even think of sharing bed with some guy even if he was her friend. But Sid was an exception. She had the faith on him that he would never do anything wrong.

"Tu chahe toh ruk sakta hai. Waise bhi tu paas rahega toh mujhe accha hi lagega. I will feel protected." Sana said.

Sid smiled.

They both lay on the bed.

"Waise iss se mera ek fayda hua hai." Sid said.

"Kaisa fayda?" Sana asked.

"Bohut dino baad mujhe itne soft bed pe sone ko mil raha hai."

Sana laughed and said, "Just shut up and sleep."

Soon Sana fell asleep. Sid watched her sleeping.

"Tu sayad nahi jaanti par galti meri hi hai. Mujhe tujhe akela chhor ke Rashmi ke saath nahi jaana chahiye tha. Par aaj main waada karta hoon, aage se jab bhi tujhe meri zaroorat hogi main humesha tere saath rahunga. Kabhi tujhe akela nahi chhorunga. Do you feel protected with me? Then okay, from now it's my responsibility to protect you from all the evils. Bohut dino baad mujhe koi apna mila hai. Waise toh mere apne mujhe chhor ke chale jaate hai. Lekin tujhe main apne se dur kahi jaane dunga. And it's my promise." Sid said in his mind and kissed on Sana's forehead.

Sana smiled in sleep.
