"Andar aa sakta hoon?" Agastya asked standing at the door.

Sana moved little backwards making space for him to enter. Then she nodded in yes.

Agastya entered.

He looked at the decoration of the house and smiled sadly. He knew for whom it was decorated.

"Aap ko kuch kaam tha?" Sana asked coming to him.

Agastya turned to Sana and said, "Woh main kuch kehne aaya tha.... Actually..... Main kaal subah ki flight se New York jaa raha hoon. Sayad phir kabhi yaaha Bangalore mein wapas naa aau."

It wasn't expected for Sana. Somewhere she felt guilty as she knew that he was leaving because of her.

"Kya yeh meri wajah se ho raha hai?" Sana asked with moist eyes feeling sad for him.

Agastya noticed her sad face and said giving a forceful smile, "Arrey nahi nahi. Roshni don't blame yourself. New York ke ek hospital se accha offer aaya hai, iss hi liye maine jaane ka faisla liya. Bas ek akhri baar tumse milne aaya tha."

Sana understood that he was trying to hide his pain.

"Dekho humare bich jo bhi hua usse bhul jaate hai. Kyu ki mere liye humari dosti sabse zyada maine rakhti hai. Tumne uss waqt mera saath diya jab mere saath aur koi nahi tha. Chahe woh as a friend hi kyu na hi. Aur yeh baat main kabhi nahi bhul sakta. I'll always remember you as my best friend." He said.

Sana smiled hearing that.

"Sir I'm glad that you still consider me as your friend. Aur main pray karungi ki aap ko aap ka life partner zald hi mil jaaye. I can undoubtedly say ki woh ladki bohut lucky hogi jiski zindagi mein aap honge." She said.

"I know. That's why I'm not giving up hopes. Kahi na kahi, koi na koi mere liye zaroor bani hogi."

"Of course. Kabhi hope chhor na bhi mat."

Meanwhile...

Sid was returning home while thinking about his father's words.

"Dad ne aisa kyu kaha ki school life mein hum apna life partner choose karne mein galti kar dete hai? Har kisi ke saath aisa nahi hota. Main aur Sana ek dusre se bohut pyaar karte the. Humare saath waisa kabhi nahi hoga. Hum humesha saath rahenge." Sid said in his mind convincing himself.

Then he took out the ring box from his pocket and said looking at it, "Main aaj hi Sana ko propose kar dunga."

He again kept the ring box in his pocket and started walking.

Soon he returned the apartment.

As soon as he entered, he saw a shocking sight there.

Agastya was giving Sana a set of necklace.

"Aaj isse wapas mat karna please. Socha tha uss din propose karne ke baad tumhe apne haathon se yeh pehna dunga. Chalo woh toh ho nahi paaya. Lekin ab main chahta hoon tum isse apne paas rakho. Iss se New York jaane ke baad bhi mujhe lagega ki main tumhare paas hi hoon."

This time Sana took the set of necklace and said, "Main aap ka yeh gift accept karti hoon. Main isse humesha apne paas sambhal ke rakhungi."

Agastya also smiled.

Sid's heart broke seeing it. His blood boiled and eyes became red. He was hurt hearing that Agastya proposed Sana but he had no idea about it.

"Sir mujhe lagta hai ab aap ko yaaha se jaana chahiye." Sana said further looking at the clock. "Agar Sid aa gaya toh....."

"Toh?"

Hearing the voice, both Agastya and Sana looked at Sid who was looking at them with full of rage. Sana became scared seeing him.

Sid slowly started walking towards them.

"Baata na Sana. Kya hoga agar main aa gaya toh?" He questioned her.

Sana knew that he was misunderstanding her again. Sana tried to calm him down.

"Sid humein iss baare mein baad mein baat karni chahiye." Sana said calmly.

"I want my answer." Sid said gritting his teeth.

Agastya realised where the situation was going and he should stay out of this.

"I think I should leave now." Agastya said.

"Yeah you should." Sid said angrily looking at Agastya. "You know what, you should have never come between us."

"Sid control yourself!" Sana said glaring him.

"Kyu? Bura laga maine usse kuch kaha toh? Lagta kya hai woh tera?" Sid asked giving a sarcastic smile.

"I'm leaving."

Saying that Agastya left from there giving them space.

As soon as Agastya left, Sana asked angrily, "Sid tera dimaag kharab ho gaya hai? Kya keh raha tha tu yeh sab?"

"Did he propose you?" Sid asked instead of giving reply.

Sana was taken aback.

"Sid....."

"DID HE PROPOSE YOU?" Sid should making Sana shivered.

"Yeah he proposed me." Sana replied.

"Aur tune yeh baat mujhe hi nahi baatayi. Great!" Sid said smiling sadly.

"Sid maine bohut baar tujhe baata ne ki koshish kiyi thi. Lekin pichle kuch mahino se meri baat sun ne ke liye tere paas itna sa bhi waqt nahi hai. Har waqt zaldi rehti hai tujhe. Ek baar khud se puch, tune last time kab mere saath time spend kiya tha, baith ke dil ki baatein kiyi thi, bina apne kaam ke baare mein soche."

Sid couldn't reply.

"Nahi hoga jawab tere paas. Tujhe paata hai humare bich yeh misunderstandings kyu ho rahi hai? Kyu ki ab pehle ki tarah tu mujhe samajhna nahi chahta. Tujhe sirf apne kaam ki padhi hai, apne success ki padhi hai. Pichle kuch mahino se main kya kya jhel rahi hoon uska zara sa bhi idea hai tujhe? Der raat tak tera wait karna, apne birthday par akela rehna, saath mein ghumne jaane ke baad tera kaam pe busy ho jaana aur mera akele bench pe baith ke aansu bahana yeh sab kuch seh liya tha maine. Jab tere kaam se ghar wapas aane ke baad mera tujhe pyaar karne ka mann hota tha, tu kehta tha 'Sana aaj nahi. I'm tired.' aur main kehti thi 'Okay'. Phir jab tera mood accha hota tha, tu kehta tha 'Sana aaj mera mood bohut accha hai. Let's make love.' aur main tab bhi okay kar deti thi. Kabhi tune mujhse pucha ki main kya chahti hoon? Main koi machine nahi hoon Sid jo sirf teri needs puri karega. Main ek insaan hoon. Mere andar bhi feelings hai, emotions hai. Lekin usse samajh ne ke liye bhi tere paas waqt hi nahi hai."

Saying that Sana started crying badly. Finally she let out everything which she had been keeping in her heart for a long time.

Hearing that Sid couldn't find out what to say. He could clearly see Sana's unhappiness and maybe he was the reason behind it.

After sometime Sid asked, "Do you want to break-up?"

Sana stopped crying and looked at Sid and asked with disbelief, "What did you say?"

"It's not too late Sana. Jab iss rishte mein tu khush nahi hai toh..... Hum alag ho jaate hai. You can go to..... Agastya."

Sid's voice got chocked.

THUDDDDD!

Sana slapped Sid looking at him with disgust.

Sana grabbed his collars and said angrily, "Maine Agastya Sir ko reject kiya tha Sid. Unhe haan nahi kaha tha. Aur tu aisa soch bhi kaise sakta hai ki tere saath hone ke bawajood main kisi aur ka proposal accept karungi?"

Sid smiled painfully and asked, "Tune unhe isliye reject kiya na because you are with me? Agar aaj tu mere saath nahi hoti toh sayad tu unka proposal accept kar leti. Because you really like him. Yeh ghar ka jo decoration tune kiya hai, itna saaj ke tu ready hui hai, iss hi liye na kyu ki woh aane wala hai?"

Sana left Sid's collar. She couldn't understand why he was saying like this.

"Yeh tu kya bol raha hai? Maine yeh sab unke liye kiya hai? Yeah I like him but only as a friend. You know that I love you." She said trying to make him believe.

"Sayad tujhe abhi realise nahi ho raha hai. Your heart doesn't know what you want. Lekin agar aage chal ke realise hua toh? Then we will be at that situation where my parents are. Woh dono bhi school life se ek dusre ke saath the and see how their relationship ended. Main nahi chahta ki humare saath bhi waisa hi kuch ho. Iss se accha abhi sab kuch khatam kar dete hai."

"Zaroori nahi hai ki jo tere parents ke saath hua woh humare saath bhi ho. I can't leave you Sid. Jo kuch bhi hua hai mil kar sort out kar lete hai naa. Please!"

Saying that Sana hugged him while crying. Sid was also heartbroken but didn't express it.

He pushed her away slightly and cupped her face. Sana smiled with teary eyes thinking that he might have changed his mind.

"We should break-up Sana. It'll be good for both of us." He said looking at her eyes making Sana shocked. Only he knew how much his heart was paining while saying this.

"Tune faisla le liya hai?" Sana asked looking at him.

Sid left her and nodded in yes. Sana felt that thousands of needless pierced her heart.

Saying that Sana went to her room and locked the door. She sat near the door and started crying. Sid was looking at the door with teary eyes.

After sometime, Sana came out packing her bags. She was walking towards the door while hoping that Sid might stop her.

Sid looked at Sana. His heart was telling him to stop her but mind was not allowing him to do so.

"Sana!" Sid called her and Sana looked at him hopefully.

"I hope the same. Kaash hum phir kabhi na mile." Sid said.

Sana immediately left from there as she didn't want to break down again in front of him. Sid watched her going.

As soon as Sana left, Sid started crying loudly. He took out the ring box from his pocket. He remembered how excited he was while buying it. He never thought that this day would come in his life. He threw the ring box angrily on the floor.

Sid went to the table and threw it harshly. It was broken into pieces just like his heart.

On the other hand, after coming out of the apartment, Sana sat on a bench in the street. She felt like her world stopped there. Just when she thought that she would give Sid the biggest happiness of his life, he gave her the biggest sorrow of her life. He left him.

Sana hold her tummy and said while crying, "I'm sorry Beta. Teri Mumma haar gayi. Woh tujhe Mumma aur Papa dono ka pyaar nahi dilwa sakti. Nahi hoon main ek acchi Mumma. Bilkool nahi hoon."

It was the most painful situation for both of them and the worst part was they themselve landed them in this situation.

Sid entered the room which once used to be their room but now it was only his room. Sid remembered all the moments they spent in this room.

Meanwhile, Sana was walking aimlessly in the road without knowing where to go. She was only thinking how Sid threw her out of his life.

Sid took a photo frame of him and Sana. It was a pic of their school days. He smiled remembering how happy they were back then.

Soon she reached the main road. She was walking without looking at any side and suddenly she got hit by a car.

Immediately the photo frame fell from Sid's hand and it was broken. He tried to pick it up but his finger got cut by the broken pieces of glass. Blood started oozing out of his finger.

He looked at his finger with teary eyes and some drops of blood fell on the photo. Sid started feeling that something wrong might have happened.

Here Sana was lying in the pool of blood. For the last time she saw some happy moments with her family, friends and Sid. But soon everything became dark.
