Avni came to washroom. Her breath was uneven and heart thumping loud as if she had ran a marathon. She looked at her hands which were still shivering if she had a slightest idea about this company being Neil's she would never come here. It took every ounce of her to not cry in front of him. Only she knew how would she felt seeing neil after so long.

He didn't change he is still the same just his aura had a different charm than before. He looked more serious and responsible towards his work she thought.

Avni's pov:

No no no I have to go I can't do this. How can I be stupid why I haven't checked about this company before why? I closed my eyes and my mind drifted to the moment when he was looking at me being shocked yes he looked shocked. He was constantly staring at me as if wanted to ask me so many questions but I didn't lift up my gaze. It's good that I maintained the calmness and answered his every questions but I can't face him everyday it's so difficult for me. What he must be thinking about me? Was he happy or he forgot me already? He hasn't talked anything else about us or me.

Ugh I should go now before he could reach me again yes I have to go.

Avni's pov ends.

Avni came out from washroom and took a long stride to the lift in order to run away from this place but mr.patel called her from behind making her jumped out of fear. She turned around hesitantly and smiled awkwardly.

Mr.patel: miss avni congratulations you are selected for the job

Avni was dumbfounded and numb. She thought she wasn't much prepared for this interview and didn't do good due to the shock she received.

Avni: wh what bu but how it can be possible?

She stammered not comprehending the news.

Mr.patel: even I am shocked

She opened her mouth in shock listening him and narrowed her eyes.

Avni: what do you mean?

Mr.patel: anyway I must say you are lucky it was your first attempt and you got the position to be a PA of neil sir.

And it was the last blow of the day. She felt like she would collapse anytime. Her face had been horrified calculating every possibility. That means she has to face him every day. HIM the neil Khanna from whom she wanted to be away not willingly but she doesn't wanted to create more problems in her life. Its better to be apart than facing the person she has feelings for.

Avni: no no I wanna talk to him now.

Mr.patel: go ahead he had said me to call you inside

Avni frowned fidgeting her fingers.

Avni: wh why?

Mr.patel: I don't know find by yourself

He went from there. Avni bit her lips and rubbed her forehead not knowing how to say him her decision. She took a deep breath and finally knocked the door. His deep husky voice rang in her ears and she opened the door.

Neil lifted his eyes and saw her standing at the door. He leaned back crossing his arms over his chest and signalled her to come in. She gulped down in fear and entered inside with trembling legs. Her body always reacted in a different way whenever he had been closed to her even now the effects didn't fade.

Avni: vo I I

Neil sensed her struggle and stood up walking towards her. She jumped on her place seeing him coming in her direction. He stood maintaining distance between them and shoved his hands inside the pockets.

Neil: do you have any problem?

She shook her head.

Neil: okay mr.patel will explain you everything regarding work

Saying this he was about to go back to his seat but her soft voice interrupted him by moving further. He smiled but didn't turn.

Avni: vo I I don't want to be here

His brows furrowed and he tilted his face.

Avni: I am sorry for wasting your time but I am not ready for this job I am sorry

She said and glanced him once. He was still standing facing his back towards her. She thought he would agree so she started taking steps towards the door but stopped when she heard his voice.

Neil: are you sure let me clear you something. If you are rejecting this job then you won't be able to get any other in future.

Her breath hitched and throat dried up receiving only shock since she had stepped into this company. Did he just threatened me? She thought.

She turned around facing him having the same expression. He suppressed his smile seeing her face and took his seat.

Neil: now choose wisely this job for the lifetime or having no job and career. I think first option is better what say?

He said innocently and acted to be in some deep thoughts. She gritted her teeth making a fist.

Avni: I will ask mr.patel to what i should do today

Saying this she literally ran from there while he couldn't stop his laughing.

Neil: sorry for blackmailing you but this was the only option.

He Sighed and got lost in some deep thoughts.
