We entered inside the restaurant and asked for a table of six. Cabir and Navya wetted on one side while mukti sat opposite to them. Navya motioned me towards the space next to her while manik, who settled himself beside mukti, gestured me to sit next to him. Cabir and mukti giggled while I was in a dilemma.

I didn't want to upset anyone of them, but now. O....kayyyyy why do they put me in such confusing situations when they know that I am confused soul. Before I could make any decision manik pulled my hand and made me sit beside him. Navya frowned, Manik she will sit next to me. She is my friend. And also I want to talk with her.

Nope. She is sitting with me and that's final. Manik's tone was final. He left no space for any kind of argument. Navya sighed knowing she could never argue with manik. Cabir rubbed her arm while mukti was giggling looking at the two. Seems like these manik and navya were always at logger-heads.

We ordered food of our choices. While chatting, I got to know that manik mukti and cabir were friends from high school while Navya met them in college. She and cabir fell in love at first sight. Something like me and manik. I looked down to hide my smile.

Mukti is a graphic editor while Navya is an interior designer. Cabir works as RJ in a famous radio station. While manik worked in corporate world. Though they were in different professions but were connected by one string. Music. All of them have pursued music in their college. Infact they had a band, according to what navya described. Navya played casio while cabir was on drums. Cabir was also good at raps. Manik and mukti both played electric guitars. Manik was their lead singer and whenever a female voice was needed mukti or navya backed up accordingly.

Navya kept telling more about their college life. I tried listening to everything. Keyword: Tried. Apparently Mr. Malhotra had my left hand entwined with his right hand. His thumb kept caressing my knuckles. Our entangled hands were placed on his thighs. He kept playing with my left hand. He is so cute. I giggled remembering our conversation outside the restaurant.

Mukti poked manik's arms. Manik raised his eyebrows. Thodi der ke liye cabir ke saath baith jaa na. Mujhe navya aur nandini ek dusre se baat karni hai. Her tone was polite. Infact after the hug at the cafe it was now that I heard her talking. In an instant manik left my hand and got up moving to the opposite side of the table.

Navya squeaked and came running on this side. After that cabir and manik kept talking to each other while me alone with mukti and navya discussed our thing. Basically we decided to hangout someday and do nothing but chill. Probably window shopping or something like that. My eyes every now and then kept swinging back to manik.

I could never get enough of him. If given an opportunity I would keep staring at him all day long. I just wish the world would stop here and I can sit here and stare at him. All our phones pinged with notification. Sab ke phones ek saath. Wow!

It is then we noticed that navya had created a group on whatsapp. Not only that she had shared my SNS id's on the group and herself started following me on Snapchat and Instagram. This girl! She seems the most hyper active amongst all four of them.

I just smiled at her while manik nodded his head in disbelief. Cabir manh! Your girlfriend is a headache. How do you bear her? Manik taunted navya. She pouted and looked at cabir who blew her flying kiss. In an instant the pouted lips curved up in a beautiful smile. Awww. These two are so cute. And navya. She is such a pure soul. I side hugged Navya who in turn smiled. Mukti too hugged her.

Oye Manik Malhotra, If you have forgotten let me remind you that you were the only one who was desperate on hooking your friend with me. You were the one who played the role of cupid in our love story. I was shocked I looked at Navya it wide eyes who nodded her head confirming my doubts. I looked at manik to find him looking on the other side. I caught him biting his lip and blushing. God. This man looks infinity times cute-er when shy.

Haan....toh....woh toh....yeh...yeh cabir.

He fumbles too. Hehe.

Woh toh yeh cabir jo mere saamne haath jod ke gidgida rha tha "Please muthe aur navya ko mila de na. Main uske bina ni jee paunga. Mar jaonga main. I love her with all my heart and soul. Please manik meri madad kar. Tujhe meri dosti kasam". He spoke imitating cabir by joining his hands and making a pleading-crying face.

Mukti manik and me broke into laughter while Navya blushed. Cabir pounced on manik. Abey Saale! Kamine! Tujhse toh dushman bhi acche hote hai. Jhoota kahi ka! Maine aisa kuch ni bola tha. Dramebaaz kahi ka.

Cabir was punching manik, who kept laughing constantly. Navya blushed at cabir's words. Mukti and I continued giggling at manik and cabir who were bickering and fighting. Suddenly tease navya and cabir session changed routes to tease nandini and manik when navya said, Haan toh theek hai na cabir! Manik aur nandini ki love story main tum cupid ban jana. Kyu manik? Sahi kaha na maine.

That's my girl. I love you baby. Cabir spoke all excited. This time navya blew him flying kiss. Manik who was laughing till now suddenly stopped laughing and was looking at Navya with a look that said back off. Well for me I was rendered speechless. All I wanted was the earth to swallow me up. How embarrassing!

Mukti navya and cabir laughed like maniacs while this time manik kept punching cabir. I digged my head in my lunch and pretended to be busy eating while in actual I wanted to hide my red cheeks. The topic died down when mukti started speaking of how they used to enjoy college time and how she misses college. Well for me since I have never had any friends I hardly got to experience the college fun.

I felt a strong gaze on me and turned my head to look at manik who was looking at me with an intense yet loving gaze. The rest of the lunch was at light and fun-filled with cabir cracking lame jokes. After lunch mukti, Navya and cabir were joining manik at his house. They asked me to come but I had to go back to cafe.

Manik with eyes asked me to come with him but I denied asking him to go with them while I took an auto to the cafe. Wow. Just two days back I didnt have anyone and today I had found 3 people who had become my best friend while one of them had already crept and made a place in my heart.

At 9, I was walking back home when my phone vibrated. There was a text from navya. It stated that they all were going to the beach and asked me to join them in 30 minutes, manik would pick me up from my house. I replied with an okay and walked faster. Reaching home I freshened up and changed into casual ripped jeans and shirt. Keeping the look simple I was ready in 15 minutes. Manik called me telling me he was down. Locking the way I made my way down.

This was the first time I saw manik wearing casuals. Wow. He looked even more hot in casuals. And his defined body looked more defined. Gosh! My hormones were totally ditching me. I reached near him and stood there timidly. Aiyappa! He smelled so sexy. Before I could think something more manik pulled me in a tight hug.

Not able to hold back I hug him back more tightly. Inhaling his scent I sigh and hug him back more tightly. Manik was squeezing me. I loved this feeling. I had missed him a lot. Though I met him just a day back but he had already become like a habit to me. A good one.

Manik kept his face in my neck while peppering kisses on my shoulder. I kept snuggling in his large body. It was so peaceful. I loved this. I missed you. I murmured in the hug and pouted. He looked at me smilingly for a fraction of second before taking me in a squeezing hug, again. I missed you too baby. It was total aww moment.

I broke the hug. We kept staring at each other. You look cute. He commented eyeing me from head to toe. The dare devil in me woke up from its sleep. I walked closer to him. Placing my hands on his chest I caressed his chest over the shirt. Tip toeing I clutched his shoulder tightly. Instantly manik wrapped his hands around my waist. I smirked. Leaning in his ear I blowed air and kissed his ear lobe. You look toooooo....dragging the too I peaked at his face. His jaw tightened and eyes closed. Tooo what? He whispered. Tooooooo cute.

I immediately pushed him and moved away tee-heeing. Manik groaned. NANDINIIII. That made me laugh more. He jerked me closer and kissed my cheeks. Bliss. Pure bliss. That's what I felt. I wrapped my hands around his neck while he wrapped his hands around my waist. Pulling me closer to his face he eyed my lips. I knew what he wanted. I too was ready to give in.

We inched closer. Breathes mingling. Nose touching each others and lips not even a millimetre apart. As manik was about to place his lips on mine The song har ek friend kamina hota hai started playing. CABIRRRRRR. Manik yelled through his gritted teeth. It was cabir's call. Manik had set a special tone for him. And I think it did suit cabir and manik's friendship  Not caring to pick his phone, manik placed his head on my shoulder. I giggled. Today cabir is surely dead.
