Plot : This is the continuation of the scene when Goenka family went to Poddar mansion in search of Ruhi. (Episode no. 1253 aired on 8/4/24).

Changes : Ruhi has moved on from Armaan after realising that he will never take a stand for her and won't tell the truth of their love to anyone and Rohit has also returned. They both have mutually decided to give their marriage an honest chance. Here, Rohit has gone in search of Ruhi instead.

The scene starts with Rohit saving Ruhi from getting hit by a car.

Rohit (scared) : Ruhi are you fine ? Do you know I was searching for you like a mad man, how can you be so careless ? Why did you run away from the temple ? Do you know how much your family is panicking ? Speak up damnit.

Ruhi (weeping badly) : I Don't want to go anywhere. No one loves me truly. I'm not enough for anyone. You go, I Don't want to go anywhere.
Leave me ....

Rohit (while cupping her face) : I... everyone love you and you're more than enough for them. Stop crying, it's OK that you don't want to go home but let me take you somewhere else. Is it fine ?

Ruhi nods ok. Rohit makes her sit in car and give her water to drink. He inform the family. After sometime, she gets calmed & they both reach Pichola lake & sat near the lake.

Rohit : Now tell me why did you run away from temple ? What's the matter ?

Ruhi (hugs him tightly) : You know Rohit, today B.nanu kept a Pooja on the occasion of my masi's birthday.

Rohit : You've a Masi, then why no one talked about her till now and why didn't she attend our wedding ?

Ruhi : The whole family has cut off their ties with her as because of her my maatashree died.

Rohit : What, Ruhi there is some misunderstanding. You must clarify with her.

Ruhi : There isn't a chance of misunderstanding since she herself admitted in front of everyone that because of her my maatashree... You know b. Nanu asked me to forgive her. How can I forgive her when she snatched every person whom I loved whether my maatashree or poppy or billa boy.

Rohit : Who are poppy and billa boy and where are they ?

Ruhi : Poppy was my father's elder brother who was just like a father to me and billa boy was masi and poppy's son. They also left with masi and never turned back.

Rohit : But your family love you very much. You know they were so tensed when you were missing. This shows how much they care for you and your happiness.

Ruhi : No, they don't love me truly, they are just compensating for the partiality they've done with my maatashree for masi's sake. You know maatashree was from nanu's second marriage and on top of that nani's mother was money minded. While masi's mom was from a well of family. That's why b.nanu didn't accept nani whole heartedly till her last breathe. All this strained maatashree and masi's relationship for almost two decades. You know my masa hepled masi and maatashree reconcile after years of separation. He always treated me & billa boy equally. But he also left this world.

Rohit : But you said that billa boy was your poppy & masi's son. Your poppy was your masa only naa.

Ruhi : No, actually during my papa's death dida and poppy blamed masi and she left. Masi miscarried one baby out of the twins and everyone thought that she lost both the twins due to her carelessness. We got to know the truth about billa boy's birth almost after 6 years. While immediately after her divorce Masi got remarried to masa and always told that billa boy was masa's son. You know when masa died I consoled billa boy, all blamed poppy for masa's death even billa boy. But I never left his side & loved him unconditionally. But when I needed someone to console me, stand with me, support me when maatashree died, all left me. Why, am I that bad ? You know it has been so many years since poppy & billa boy left me but till now they haven't even contacted me once ? Why'll they as they're happy with their family ? Don't I deserve to listen that I'm special and my love is enough for him/her ? Why don't I have a right to expect that someone will choose me ?

Saying this, Ruhi hugs Rohit and starts crying and was inconsolable. While, Rohit also has tears in his eyes learning that how much his love has suffered in her childhood. Right now, he just wants to take away all her pain and wants to give her all the happiness of this world.

Rohit : Hey ! I know that sometimes situations give us life long pain but we need to overcome it for our loved ones, for whom we are their everything. I can very well understand this as mom is also dad's second wife. Dad married his first wife against Daadisa's wish this caused differences among them, then she died immediately after bhaiya's birth. Daadisa persuaded Dad to remmary but he couldn't forget his first love. All this caused a lot of problems in mom-dad's married life. They always used to fight on small matters and cracks were always visible in their relationship. All this badly affected my and bhaiya's childhood. But we smile for the sake of our family especially maa and daadisa.

Ruhi : Rohit ! Why God has written so much pain in our lives ? Why he gave us this much traumatic and painful childhood ? Didn't we deserve a happy childhood fulled of both of our parents love ?

Rohit : Ruh ! God takes tests of those about whom he is sure that he will pass all the hurdles of life, will give happiness to others even when he himself will be in very much pain and who won't take inhuman ways to reach victory. That's why its called life. Atleast now, please stop crying. Your parents will also won't like to see you crying like this. Though I haven't met your parents but I can guarantee that wherever they will be right now, they will want a smile on their daughter's face. Please smile atleast for their sake.

Ruhi sees Rohit with admiration as it's for the first time after her mother's death that someone gave her emotional support in life. Also for the first time in this much period of their marriage, they had a heart to heart conversation without any disturbance. Ruhi's mind and heart were in a conflict, her mind told her to behave like she used to & respect the boundaries. But her heart said to forget everything and surrender her everything to Rohit in that moment. Finally her heart won over mind. Rohit was going to say something when Ruhi kissed him passionately, at first Rohit was shocked with Ruhi's bold move but later he also started responding to her with equal love & passion.
Both shared their first kiss under the sunset of Pichola lake.



They kissed each other for good 20 minutes and left each other breathless. Rohit cupped Ruhi's cheeks.

Rohit : I don't know about others but you're more than enough for me and I will never ever leave your side.
(Saying this he kissed Ruhi's forehead while soft smile played on her lips).

Ruhi : Promise ?

Rohit : Promise, I will always be with you till my de...
Before Rohit could complete, Ruhi kept her palm on his lips.

Ruhi : Don't say this again.

Rohit joined his forehead with hers and they stood there in silence for a lot of time which was soothing their heart hugging eachother. Both of them shared their fears, insecurities, past trauma, it's life long affect, hopes and dreams for future in that silence. This incident strengthened their relation and made them emotionally more colser. They grew comfortable with each other in such a way that they started sharing their deepest secrets with each other without any hesitation.
