Wedding Reception

The wedding reception was in full swing. The grand hall sparkled with fairy lights, the scent of roses filled the air, and the soft hum of laughter and music created a magical ambiance. Prachi, dressed in a stunning maroon and gold lehenga, stood beside Ranbir as guests came to greet them. Her smile was radiant, but her eyes darted to the entrance every few seconds, a hint of longing evident on her face.

Ranbir (noticing her restlessness):

"Kya hua, Prachi? Kisi ka intezaar ho raha hai(What happened, Prachi? Waiting for someone?)"

Prachi (sighing softly, trying to hide her emotions):

"Nahi... bas aise hi. Sab aagaye hain, bas... kuch log abhi tak nahi dikhe(No... just like that. Everyone has arrived, but some people have not been seen yet.)"

Ranbir (teasing):

"Namrata, Raj chacha, aur Babita chachi, right(Namrata, Raj uncle, and Babita aunty, right?)"

Prachi turned to him, her eyes wide with surprise. Ranbir chuckled.

Ranbir:

"Tumhare chehre pe sab likha hota hai, Mrs. Kohli. Tumhe ek din ke liye unse door rehna pada aur tum itni pareshaan ho gayi(It's all written on your face, Mrs. Kohli. You had to stay away from them for a day and you got so upset?)"

Prachi (pouting):

"Woh meri family hai, Ranbir. Mere bina sabka din kaise gaya hoga? Namrata ne kuch khaya bhi hoga ya nahi... aur chachi ka mood theek tha na(They are my family, Ranbir. How would everyone's day have gone without me? Namrata might have eaten something or not... and was Aunty in a good mood?)"

Ranbir (laughing):

"Tum toh bas unki mummy ban gayi ho, Prachi(You have just become their mother, Prachi.)"

Just as Prachi opened her mouth to retort, the sound of familiar voices caught her attention.

At the entrance, Namrata, Raj, and Babita finally walked in. Namrata looked resplendent in a lavender kurti with silver accents, while Babita wore a classic blue saree with silver jewelry, and Raj, as always, looked dapper in a tailored suit. They scanned the crowd for Prachi, and Namrata was the first to spot her.

Namrata (excitedly waving):

"Jiji(Sister!)"

Prachi's face lit up instantly. Forgetting all decorum, she picked up her lehenga slightly and ran toward them.

Prachi hugged Namrata tightly, her eyes brimming with happy tears.

Prachi:

"Namrata! Tum log finally aa gaye. Tumhe pata hai kitna miss kiya maine tum sabko(Namrata! You guys have finally arrived. Do you know how much I missed you all?)"

Namrata (hugging her back, teasing):

"Bas ek din door rehna pada, aur yeh haal hai aapka, Mrs. Kohli(Just had to stay away for a day, and this is your condition, Mrs. Kohli?)"

Prachi (pretending to scold):

"Shut up! Tumhe kya pata, yeh ek din kitna lamba laga mujhe(Shut up! Do you know how long this one day took me?)"

Raj stepped forward, his voice warm and affectionate.

Raj:

"Arre Bittu, itna miss kiya ki reception mein sabko chhod kar bhaag gayi(Hey Bittu, did you miss me so much that you left everyone at the reception and ran away?)"

Prachi (hugging Raj, her voice choked):

"Chachaji, mujhe laga aap log nahi aayenge(Uncle, I thought you guys would not come.)"

Raj (playfully):

"Nahi aate? Yeh baat kaise soch li tumne? Tumhari reception hai, aur hum tumhare bina apna din kaise complete karte(Don't you come? How did you think of this? It's your reception, and how would we complete our day without you?)"

Babita, standing behind, cleared her throat dramatically.

Babita:

"Toh mujhe bhool gayi tum, Guddan(So you have forgotten me, Guddan?)"

Prachi turned and immediately hugged Babita, fresh tears spilling over.

Prachi:

"Chachi! Aap bhi kyun late ho gayi? Maine kitna intezaar kiya(Aunty! Why are you also late? I waited so long.)"

Babita (stroking her head lovingly):

"Tujhse milne ka maza tabhi aata hai jab sab tadap lein thoda. Aur waise bhi, Ranbir se permission leni thi na tujhe dekhne ki(The pleasure of meeting you comes only when everyone suffers a little. And anyway, permission had to be taken from Ranbir to see you.)"

Everyone laughed, while Ranbir joined the group, smiling at their loving dynamic.

Ranbir (greeting them):

"Namaste, Raj chacha, Babita chachi, Namrata. Finally, aap log aaye(Hello, Raj uncle, Babita aunty, Namrata. Finally, you guys have arrived!)"

Raj (grinning):

"Tumhare bina kaise miss karte, Ranbir beta? Ab officially damad ban gaye ho, toh hume toh aana hi tha(How would I have missed you without you, Ranbir son? Now that you have officially become my son-in-law, I had to come.)"

Namrata (teasing Prachi):

"Waise, jiji, tumne Ranbir jiju ka itna dimaag kha liya hoga na hume miss karke ki woh khud mujhe phone kar ke pooch rahe the ki hum kab aayenge(By the way, sister, you must have eaten Ranbir brother-in-law's mind so much by missing us that he himself was calling me and asking when we would come.)"

Prachi blushed, nudging Namrata playfully.

Ranbir entered with Prachi, his arm protectively around her waist. Prachi looked breathtaking in with a diamond necklace, while Ranbir complemented her perfectly in a black tuxedo with a subtle shimmer.

Kachi doriyon, doriyon, doriyon se mainu tu baandh le

Pakki yaariyon, yaariyon, yaariyon mein honde na faasle

(Tie me up with fragile threads

There are no distances in between strong friendships)

The crowd erupted in applause as they stepped onto the stage. Family members and friends took turns congratulating them, taking pictures, and showering them with love.

Eh naraazgi kaagzi saari teri

Mere sohneya sun le meri dil diyan gallan

(All this anger of yours is fake

My beloved, listen to the talks of my heart)

Dhruv, Ranbir's charming younger cousin, entered the reception fashionably late, wearing a maroon suit and tie. His playful smirk widened when his eyes landed on Namrata, who was seated with her parents, sipping on a glass of juice.

Karange naal naal behke akh naale akh nu milake dil diyan gallan haaye

Karange roz roz behke sachiyan mohabbatan nibhake

(We'll talk about the heart sitting together and looking into each other's eyes

We'll do it everyday and fulfill our true love)

Namrata was dressed in a lavender kurti suit and skirt that perfectly complemented her elegance. Her hair fell in soft curls, framing her face beautifully. She seemed lost in conversation with a relative, her laughter lighting up the room.

Sataye mainu kyun

Dikhaye mainu kyun

(Why do you trouble me

Why do you pretend in front of me)

Dhruv (to himself): "Yeh ladki toh har baar aur khoobsurat lagti hai. Bas ek baar baat ho jaye (This girl looks more beautiful every time. Let's just talk once.)"

He adjusted his tie, ruffled his hair slightly, and walked up to her confidently.

Aiven jhuthi mutthi ruske rusake dil diyan gallan haaye

Karange naal naal behke akh naale akh nu milake

(Of falsely being upset with me

We'll talk about the heart sitting together and looking into each other's eyes)

Dhruv: "Hello, lavender queen! Lagta hai aap yahaan sabko apne beauty se overshadow kar rahi ho(Hello, Lavender Queen! It seems you are dazzling everyone here with your beauty.)"

(Music)

Namrata turned to him, raising an eyebrow.

Namrata: "Excuse me? Lavender queen? Yeh kaunsa naya tareeka hai introduce karne kaExcuse me? Lavender Queen? What is this new way of introducing?)"

Dhruv: "Dhruv Kohli. Ranbir ka cousin. Aur aap? Joote churane waali gang ki leader(Dhruv Kohli. Ranbir's cousin. And you? Leader of the gang that steals shoes?)"

Namrata: "Namrata. Aur mujhe impress karne ke liye itni mehnat ki zarurat nahi hai, Dhruv (Namrata. And you don't need to try so hard to impress me, Dhruv.)"

Dhruv (grinning): "Matlab mehnat kaafi nahi hui, ya mujhe aur charm add karna padega (Meaning the effort wasn't enough, or do I have to add more charms?)"

Namrata (sipping her juice calmly): "Dhruv, tumhare charm ki battery shayad low hai. Mujhe tumhare cousin Ranbir ko congratulations bolne jaana hai. Tum yahin practice karte raho(Dhruv, the battery of your charm is probably low. I have to go to congratulate your cousin Ranbir. You keep practicing here.)"

With that, she stood up, gave him a small, confident smile, and walked away. Dhruv stared after her, stunned but clearly intrigued.

Dhruv (to himself): "Challenge accepted, Namrata. Tumhe toh mujhe ek chance dena hi padega. Dhruv Kohli haar maanne waalon mein se nahi hai(Challenge accepted, Namrata. You will have to give me a chance. Dhruv Kohli is not one to accept defeat.)"

The hall was buzzing with excitement as the emcee announced:

Emcee: "Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the much-awaited cake-cutting ceremony! Please gather around as we invite our stunning newlyweds, Ranbir and Prachi, to do the honors."

Tainu lakhan ton chupake rakhan akhan te sajake, tu hai meri wafa

Rakh apna banake

(I've adorned you in my eyes and hid you from everyone as you're my faith

Make me yours)

A gorgeous five-tier wedding cake was wheeled to the center of the hall. Decorated in cream cheese(requested by Prachi) with golden accents, edible roses, and delicate pearls, it was a work of art. On the topmost tier, a miniature figurine of a bride and groom stood hand in hand, mirroring Ranbir and Prachi's love.

Main tere layian, tere layian yaara

Na paavi kade dooriyan

(Beloved, I'm only there for you

May distances never come in between us)

Ranbir, holding Prachi's hand, led her toward the cake. Prachi looked radiant, her cheeks flushed with happiness, while Ranbir couldn't take his eyes off her.

Tainu lakhan ton chupake rakhan akhan te sajake, tu hai meri wafa

Rakh apna banake

(I've adorned you in my eyes and hid you from everyone as you're my faith

Make me yours)

Ranbir (teasing her):

"Prachi, yeh cake toh tumhare jitna sundar lag raha hai... lekin dekhte hain, meetha bhi tumhare jitna hai ya nahi(Prachi, this cake looks as beautiful as you... but let's see if it is as sweet as you or not!)"

Prachi, blushing, smiled shyly.

Prachi: "Tum bas bolte raho. Cake toh katne do pehle(You just keep talking. Let the cake be cut first!)"

Main tere layian, tere layian yaara

Na paavi kade dooriyan

(Beloved, I'm only there for you

May distances never come in between us)

Ranbir picked up the knife and offered it to Prachi.

Ranbir: "Come on, Mrs. Kohli. Aapke bina toh yeh kaam incomplete hai(Come on,Mrs. Kohli. This work is incomplete without you.)"

Prachi placed her hand over his, and together, they cut through the first tier. The room erupted in cheers, whistles, and applause, as cameras flashed to capture the moment.

Main jeena haan tera

Main jeena haan tera

(I'm your life

I'm your life)

Guests: "Speech! Speech!"

Ranbir raised his hand to quiet everyone.

Ranbir: "Mujhe lagta hai aaj sabse zyada khush main hoon. Prachi meri zindagi ka sabse bada gift hai. Mujhe pata hai, mere speeches cheesy hote hain, toh main yeh moment enjoy karne deta hoon(I feel the happiest today. Prachi is the biggest gift of my life. I know that my speeches are cheesy, so I tried to enjoy this moment.)"

Tu jeena hai mera

Das lena ki nakhra dikhake dil diyan gallan

(You're my life

Tell me what will you prove with your tantrums)

He winked at Prachi, who shook her head, laughing.

Ranbir picked up the first slice of cake and brought it toward Prachi, smirking mischievously.

Ranbir: "Pehla bite tumhara haq hai... bas tumhare liye. Lekin taste main check kar lo, kahin mujhe poison karne ki planning toh nahi, Mrs. Kohli(The first bite is yours...just for you. But please check if you are planning to poison me, Mrs. Kohli?)"

Prachi: "Tumhe poison karne ke liye cake ki zarurat nahi, Mr. Kohli(I don't need cake to poison you, Mr. Kohli.)"

Amidst laughter, Prachi took a small bite. Then, she took another piece and playfully smeared a little frosting on Ranbir's nose.

Karange naal naal behke akh naale akh nu milake dil diyan gallan

(We'll talk about the heart sitting together and looking into each other's eyes)

Ranbir (grinning): "Acha, toh yeh baat hai(Really, so this is it?)"

Before Prachi could react, Ranbir dabbed frosting on her cheek, making everyone burst into laughter. The guests cheered as the playful exchange continued.

Raatan kaaliyan, kaaliyan, kaaliyan ne mere dil saanwle

Mere haaniyan, haaniyan, haaniyan je lage tu na gale

(The nights are dark and my beloved is fair

My companion, come and embrace me)

Prachi and Ranbir then offered cake to the elders—Naira, Kartik, Naitik, Babita, and Raj. Babita couldn't help but give her motherly advice.

Babita: "Bas, Ranbir, zyada cake mat khilao. Sugar control mein rakhna hai, samjhe(That's it, Ranbir, don't feed her too much cake. Have to keep sugar under control, understand?)"

Mera aasmaan mausaman di na sune

Koi khwaab na poora bhune dil diyan gallan

(My skies don't listen to the weather

And it doesn't weave any complete dreams)

Raj added humor to the moment.

Raj: "Arey beta, shaadi ke baad cake hi nahi, life ke har sweets ka maza lena seekho(Hey son, after marriage, learn to enjoy all the sweets of life, not just the cake!)"

In the background, Dhruv saw Namrata helping with the plates. He walked up to her with a sly grin.

Karange naal naal behke akh naale akh nu milake

Pata hai mainu kyun chupake dekhe tu

(We'll talk about the heart sitting together and looking into each other's eyes

I know why you look at me secretly)

Dhruv: "Mujhe lagta hai, mujhe ek bite personally tumse milni chahiye, Namrata(I think I should get a bite from you personally, Namrata.)"

Namrata rolled her eyes.

Namrata: "Tum cake khane ke liye aaye ho ya flirt karne ke liye(Have you come to eat cake or to flirt?)"

Mere naam se naam milake dil diyan gallan

(Adding your name to mine)

Dhruv (pretending to think): "Hmm, dono(Hmm, both.)"

Namrata handed him a plate and walked away.

Dhruv (muttering): "Challenge toh yeh hai ki kab tum maanogi(The challenge is when will you agree?)"

As the couple fed each other cake and mingled with guests, the emcee announced:

Emcee: "And now, it's time to hit the dance floor! Couples, get ready to join Ranbir and Prachi for their first dance as husband and wife."

Karange naal naal behke akh naale akh nu milake dil diyan gallan

(We'll talk about the heart sitting together and looking into each other's eyes)

As the emcee invited couples to the dance floor, Dhruv suddenly grabbed the microphone, drawing everyone's attention. He looked dashing in his black tuxedo, his signature playful grin lighting up his face.

Dhruv (smirking):

"Ek second, ek second! Dance baad mein hoga, pehle mujhe ek kaam karna hai(One second, one second! The dance will happen later, first I have something to do.)"

The room fell silent, curious about what Dhruv was up to. Ranbir raised an eyebrow.

Ranbir: "Ab kya karne wale ho, Dhruv(What are you going to do now, Dhruv?)"

Dhruv (grinning): "Relax, bhai! Tumhare liye surprise hai. Maine socha, shaadi ke baad kuch special gift dena chahiye... aur gift mera talent hi ho sakta hai. So, this one's for the best jiju-bhabhi duo ever—Ranbir and Prachi(Relax, brother! There is a surprise for you. I thought, I should give some special gift after marriage... and my talent can be the gift. So, this one's for the best brother-in-law and sister-in-law duo ever—Ranbir and Prachi!)"

The lights dimmed, and a spotlight fell on Dhruv as he walked to the center of the stage. A live band began playing soft, romantic music in the background.

Dhruv (softly into the mic):

"Yeh gaana tum dono ke liye hai—kyunki tumhari love story hum sabko ek hi baat sikhati hai: pyar mein sab kuch possible hai(This song is for both of you—because your love story teaches us all one thing: everything is possible in love.)"

https://youtu.be/nqTS7ngviwQ

And then, Dhruv started singing:

Tu Mile Dil Khile

Aur Jine Ko Kya Chahiye

(When I met you, my heart blossomed,

And what else do I need to live?)

As Dhruv sang, his voice smooth and heartfelt, the audience swayed to the melody.

Tu Mile Dil Khile

Aur Jine Ko Kya Chahiye

(When I met you, my heart blossomed,

And what else do I need to live?)

Prachi blushed, her cheeks turning a soft pink as Ranbir took her hand.

Na Ho Tu Udas Tere Pas Pas

Mai Rahunga Zindagi Bhar

(Don't ever be sad; close to you, always,

I will stay with you for a lifetime)

He gently guided her to the dance floor, unable to take his eyes off her.

Na Ho Tu Udas Tere Pas Pas

Mai Rahunga Zindagi Bhar

(Don't ever be sad; close to you, always,

I will stay with you for a lifetime)

The guests cheered as the couple danced, lost in their own little world.

Sare Sansar Ka Pyar Maine

Tujhi Me Paya

(The love of the entire world,

I found it all in you)

The romantic lyrics seemed to echo their love story perfectly.

Tu Mile Dil Khile Aur

Jine Ko Kya Chahiye

(When I met you, my heart blossomed,

And what else do I need to live?)

The crowd clapped along, enchanted by Dhruv's soulful performance.

Chanda Tujhe Dekhane Ko Nikalaa

Karta Hai

(The moon comes out just to see you)

Even Namrata, who had been avoiding Dhruv's antics all evening, looked slightly impressed.

Aaina Bhi O Didar Ko Tarasa Karta Hai

(Even the mirror longs for your sight)

She stood in a corner, arms crossed, a faint smile tugging at her lips.

Itani Hasi Koi Nahi

Itani Hasi Koi Nahi

(There's no beauty like yours,

No beauty like yours in this world or the next)

Babita (to Raj): "Hamaara Dhruv kitna talented hai na? Itne dil se gaa raha hai(How talented is our Dhruv? Singing with so much heart.")"

Husna Dono Jaha Ka Ek Tujhme

Simat Ke Aaya

(The splendor of both worlds,

Is all gathered in you)

Raj: "Bas Namrata maan jaaye iske talent ka(Just let Namrata accept his talent!)"

Tu Mile Dil Khile Aur

Jine Ko Kya Chahiye

(When I met you, my heart blossomed,

And what else do I need to live?)

As Dhruv hit the final notes, he stepped off the stage and walked toward Ranbir and Prachi, who were still dancing.

Tu Mile Dil Khile Aur

Jine Ko Kya Chahiye

(When I met you, my heart blossomed,

And what else do I need to live?)

Dhruv (playfully bowing): "Aur yeh tha mera special gift! Bolo, pasand aaya(And this was my special gift! Tell me, did you like it?)"

Ranbir (smiling): "Mujhe toh laga tha tu ek flop idea layega, lekin tu toh rockstar nikla(I thought you would come up with a flop idea, but you turned out to be a rockstar!)"

Prachi (sweetly): "Thank you, Dhruv. Yeh gaana humesha yaad rahega(Thank you, Dhruv. This song will always be remembered.)"

Dhruv winked.

Dhruv: "Aur yaad rakhna, jab tak main hoon, tum dono ka romance fail nahi hoga(And remember, as long as I am there, your romance will not fade away.)"

The crowd erupted in applause as Dhruv took a dramatic bow, his charm stealing the spotlight once again.

As Dhruv walked off the stage, the emcee stepped back in.

Emcee:

"Aur ab, ladies aur gentlemen, shaam ka sabse intezaar wala moment—humari newlywed couple Ranbir aur Prachi ka pehla dance as husband and wife(And now, ladies and gentlemen, the most awaited moment of the evening—our newlywed couple Ranbir and Prachi's first dance as husband and wife!)"

The crowd cheered loudly, clapping and whistling as Ranbir held out his hand to Prachi.

Ranbir (smirking): "Shall we, Mrs. Kohli?"

Prachi (blushing, softly): "Hamesha, Mr. Kohli(Always, Mr. Kohli!)"

The dance floor was bathed in a soft golden glow, fairy lights twinkling around the hall. The soft hum of a romantic tune began to play. It was none other than the timeless track "Teri Ore" (from Singh is King).

Ranbir and Prachi stepped onto the center of the dance floor, surrounded by a circle of friends and family.

Dil kho gaya, ho gaya kisi ka

Ab rasta mil gaya khushi ka

(My heart is lost, it has become someone else's

Now I've found the path to happiness)

Their chemistry was electric, drawing every eye in the room.

Aankhon mein hai khwaab sa kisi ka

Ab rasta mil gaya khushi ka

(There is a dream of someone in my eyes

Now I've found the path to happiness)

The music swelled, and Ranbir pulled Prachi gently into his arms.

Rishta naya rabba dil chhu raha hai

Kheeche mujhe koi dore teri ore

(A new relation is touching my heart

Some string is pulling me towards you)

Their movements were fluid and graceful, completely in sync, as if they were the only two people in the world.

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore haai rabba

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore

(Towards you, oh my god

Towards you)

Ranbir spun Prachi around, her maroon and gold lehenga flaring beautifully, her laughter lighting up the room.

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore haai rabba

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore

(Towards you, oh my god

Towards you)

He pulled her back against him, one hand sliding to her waist, his other brushing her cheek.

Khulti fizayein, khulti ghatayein

Sar pe naya hai aasman

(The atmosphere and clouds have opened up

There is a new sky on top)

The guests couldn't help but swoon.

Chaaro dishayein haske bulayein

Yoon sab huye hai meherbaan

(All the four directions are calling us with a smile

Everyone has become benevolent)

Babita (to Raj): "Dekho, kitne pyare lag rahe hain dono. Jaise ek dusre ke liye hi bane ho(Look, how cute both of them are looking. As if they were made for each other.)"

Haan humein toh yahi rabba kasam se pata hai

Dil pe nahi koi zor, koi zor

(Oh God, I know this for sure

That there is no control over the heart)

Raj (teasing): "Arre, yeh toh trailer hai. Picture toh abhi baaki hai(Hey, this is a trailer. The picture is still pending!)"

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore haai rabba

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore

(Towards you, oh my god

Towards you)

Naira nudged Kartik.

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore haai rabba

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore

(Towards you, oh my god

Towards you)

Naira (grinning): "Humein bhi aisa hi dance karna chahiye tha, yaad hai(We should have danced like this too, remember?)"

(Folk verse)

Kartik (teasing): "Main toh hamesha ready hoon, Mrs. Kohli. Abhi chalu kar doon(I am always ready, Mrs. Kohli. Should I start it now?)"

Ek heer thi aur tha ek ranjhaa

Kehte hai mere gaon mein

(There were great lovers at one time

People talk about them in my village)

As the tempo picked up, Ranbir dipped Prachi low, his hand on her back steadying her.

Sacha ho dil toh sau mushkilen ho

Jhukta naseeba paanv mein

(Even with many problems, if your heart is true

Then your destiny will bow down to you)

Their faces were inches apart, their eyes locked.

Ho ho aanchal tera rabba falak ban gaya hai

Ab iska nahi koi ore, koi chore

(Your scarf has become the horizon

Now there no end to it in any direction)

Time seemed to stop as the song reached its crescendo.

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore haai rabba

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore

(Towards you, oh my god

Towards you)

Ranbir leaned in slightly, his voice low.

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore haai rabba

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore

(Towards you, oh my god

Towards you)

Ranbir (whispering): "Tumhare saath har pal ek naya sapna hai, Prachi. Aur yeh zindagi ka sabse special dance hai(Every moment with you is a new dream, Prachi. And this is the most special dance of life.)"

Dil kho gaya, ho gaya kisi ka

Ab rasta mil gaya khushi ka

(My heart is lost, it has become someone else's

Now I've found the path to happiness)

Prachi, her cheeks flushed, whispered back.

Aankhon mein hai khwaab sa kisi ka

Ab rasta mil gaya khushi ka

(There is a dream of someone in my eyes

Now I've found the path to happiness)

Prachi: "Tumhare saath hoon, toh sab kuch perfect lagta hai(When I am with you, everything seems perfect.)"

Rishta naya rabba dil chhu raha hai

Kheeche mujhe koi dore teri ore

(A new relation is touching my heart

Some string is pulling me towards you)

The music softened, and Ranbir twirled Prachi one last time before pulling her into a tight embrace.

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore haai rabba

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore

(Towards you, oh my god

Towards you)

The lights brightened, and rose petals rained down from above, showering the couple in a dreamy haze.

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore haai rabba

Teri ore, teri ore, teri ore

(Towards you, oh my god

Towards you)

The crowd erupted in applause, some wiping away tears, others whistling in joy.

The reception hall buzzed with energy after Pranbir's enchanting romantic dance. Guests mingled, conversations flowed, and laughter echoed in the air.

Suddenly, the lights dimmed, leaving the room in darkness. A hush fell over the crowd as everyone glanced around, wondering what was happening.

https://youtu.be/bPk9bSvQQoc

A soft glow appeared on the stage as Prachi, Naira, and Namrata stepped into the spotlight, each holding a lit diya in their hands.

Sukh dukh jhoothe

Dhan bhi jhootha

(Happiness and sadness are false

Even wealth is false)

Their radiant smiles and the shimmering light from the diyas immediately captivated everyone.

Jhoothi moh maya

Sacha mann ka woh kona jahan

(Infatuation and illusion are false

True is the corner of the heart)

The soft instrumental opening of "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" began to play, and the audience broke into applause, realizing a surprise performance was about to unfold.

Prem ratan paya

Prem ratan paya

(Where one finds the jewel called love

Where one finds the jewel called love)

Prachi, Naira, and Namrata stood in a graceful line, their lehengas sparkling as the warm light of the diyas flickered around them.

Payo ... payo

Layo ... chayo

Aayo ... gaayo

Payo

(I've achieved ... I've achieved

It has brought ... it has spread

It has come ... it has sung

I've achieved)

They began moving in perfect synchronization, their expressions filled with joy and elegance.

Saiyan tu kamaal ka

Baatein bhi kamaal ki

(Oh beloved you're great

Even your conversations are great)

Prachi stepped forward first, her movements soft and delicate as she twirled gracefully, symbolizing love and gratitude.

Laaga rang joh tera

Hui main kamaal ki

(Since I've been coloured with you

I've become great)

Her eyes glimmered with happiness as she glanced toward Ranbir, who was watching her with a soft smile, utterly mesmerized.

Payo re payo re payo re payo re payo

Payo re payo re payo re payo re payo

Payo re payo re payo re payo re payo re

(I've achieved, I've achieved

I've achieved, I've achieved

I've achieved, I've achieved)

Next, Naira joined in, her energy vibrant and lively.

Prem ratan dhan payo ... payo

Prem ratan dhan payo ... payo

(I've achieved the jewel called love

I've achieved the jewel called love)

She twirled with her diya, her movements fluid and full of charm.

Rut milan ki layo

Prem ratan

(It has brought the season of unity

The jewel called love)

Her smile lit up the room as she lip-synced her lines, her gaze finding Kartik, who clapped and cheered her on.

Prem ratan dhan payo maine

Prem ratan dhan payo

(I've achieved the jewel called love

I've achieved the jewel called love)

Finally, Namrata took center stage.

Kya main dikha doon

Ya main chupa loon

(What should I show

Or should I hide it)

Despite Namrata's initial hesitation, her movements were graceful and precise, her confidence growing with every step.

Joh dhan hai mann mein

Yeh bhi na jaanu

(The wealth that is there in my heart

I don't know even that)

She stole the spotlight with her glowing smile, earning cheers from the guests.

Bajne lagi kyun

Sargam si tann mein

(Why is there a music

Playing in my body)

As the music picked up pace, the three women came together in perfect harmony, their diyas glowing brighter in the darkened room.

Khushiyan hai aangan mein

(Happiness is there in my courtyard)

They danced with poise and passion, every step symbolizing love, family, and togetherness.

Chehre pe aayi meri

Rangatein gulaal ki

(On my face there are

Tints of the colour red)

The choreography became more intricate as they twirled and exchanged positions, their skirts flowing elegantly around them.

Laaga rang joh tera

Hui main kamaal ki

(Since I've been coloured with you

I've become great)

Guests were on the edge of their seats, clapping along to the beat.

Payo re payo re payo re payo re payo

Payo re payo re payo re payo re payo

Payo re payo re payo re payo re payo re

(I've achieved, I've achieved

I've achieved, I've achieved

I've achieved, I've achieved)

Prachi moved to the center, her lehenga flaring beautifully as she spun around, holding her diya high.

Prem ratan dhan payo ... payo

Prem ratan dhan payo ... payo

(I've achieved the jewel called love

I've achieved the jewel called love)

The way she moved reflected her pure joy and love for her new family and Ranbir.

Mann gagan par chayo

Prem ratan

(My heart is above the sky

The jewel called love)

Naira added her trademark playfulness to the performance, winking and swaying as if telling Kartik, "Look what I can do!" Kartik, of course, was completely smitten.

Prem ratan dhan payo maine

Prem ratan dhan payo

(I've achieved the jewel called love

I've achieved the jewel called love)

Namrata, usually reserved, surprised everyone by fully immersing herself in the performance.

Mujhko the ghere

Jitne andhere

(Surrounding me

Was darkness)

Her shy smile as she twirled with the diya in hand made Dhruv (standing in the audience, unseen by her) grin to himself, impressed.

Ho gaye door sabhi

Sab sapno ki

(Which has all vanished

Of all the dreams)

Occasionally, Ranbir looks around the crowd with a "That's my bride!" expression, glowing with pride.

Sab rishton ki

Paa li hai keemat bhi

(Of all the relationships

I've even paid the price)

When Prachi nails a particularly intricate step, Ranbir claps enthusiastically, whispering to his friends, "She's perfect, isn't she?"

Prem ko main samjhi

Kisi ne na ki meri

(I've understood what is love

Like no one ever has)

Kartik can't help but give her a thumbs-up, mouthing, "You're amazing!" Kartik's admiration for her is written all over his face, and his laughter echoes when Naira adds a small teasing move directed at him.

Tune joh sambhal ki

Laaga rang joh tera

(You took care of me in that way

Since I've been coloured with you)

Even after 9 whole years of marriage, he is still love struck with her.

Hui main kamaal ki

(I've become great)

The crowd cheers louder as Namrata nails a bold, twirling move, and Dhruv mutters to himself, "She's incredible..." His admiration grows with every second, though he's still unsure how to express it.

Payo re payo re payo re payo re payo

Payo re payo re payo re payo re payo

Payo re payo re payo re payo re payo re

(I've achieved, I've achieved

I've achieved, I've achieved

I've achieved, I've achieved)

Namrata, meanwhile, keeps her focus on the dance but has a knowing smirk, aware of Dhruv's stolen glances.

Prem ratan dhan payo ... payo

Prem ratan dhan payo ... payo

(I've achieved the jewel called love

I've achieved the jewel called love)

She's enjoying playing it cool, her steps exuding confidence as if to say, "You can keep watching, but good luck getting my attention."

Aaj mann bhar aayo

Prem ratan

(Today my heart is totally filled with

The jewel called love)

The music builds toward the final chorus of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and the energy on stage is electric.

Prem ratan dhan payo maine

(I've achieved the jewel called love)

Prachi, Naira, and Namrata, now fully in sync, pick up the pace, twirling and striking expressive poses with graceful precision.

Prem ratan dhan payo

(I've achieved the jewel called love)

Their lehengas fan out beautifully, and the crowd claps in rhythm to the beat.

Chayo ... aayo

(It has spread ... it has come)

When Prachi glances at him during one of the twirls and subtly raises her eyebrows as if to say, "What do you think?", Ranbir grins widely and mouths, "Perfect!"

Layo ... payo

(It has brought ... I've achieved)

Kartik has his phone out by this point, recording Naira's every move as she pours all her charm into the final steps.

Layo ... payo

(It has brought ... I've achieved)

As the music reached its climax, the three came together in a final pose, each holding their diya up to the sky as if offering blessings.

Payo

(I've achieved)

The stage glowed with the warm light of the diyas, their smiles lighting up the room even brighter.

The crowd erupted into applause and cheers, completely blown away by the surprise.

Ranbir rushes to the stage, clapping enthusiastically, while Kartik stands up and whistles for Naira. Dhruv stays back, quietly clapping, still trying to process the whirlwind of emotions Namrata has stirred in him.

Ranbir walked up to Prachi as she stepped down from the stage, still holding her diya.

Ranbir (grinning):

"Yeh kya tha, Mrs. Kohli? Tumne toh mujhe phir se pyaar karne par majboor kar diya(What was it, Mrs? Kohli? You made me fall in love again.)"

Prachi (teasing):

"Phir se? Tumne kabhi pyaar karna band kiya tha kya(Again? Have you ever stopped loving me?)"

Meanwhile, Kartik walked up to Naira, shaking his head in mock disbelief.

Kartik:

"Tum har baar mujhe surprise kyun deti ho, Mrs. Kohli? Kitne surprises bacha ke rakhe ho mere liye(Why do you surprise me every time, Mrs. Kohli? How many surprises have you saved for me?)"

Naira (laughing):

"Abhi toh shuruat hai, Kartik(This is just the beginning, Kartik.)"

Namrata, glowing from the applause, looked around and caught Dhruv's eye. He clapped enthusiastically, giving her a thumbs-up. She rolled her eyes, but a faint smile betrayed her.

Emcee:

"Aur ab shuru hota hai shaam ka sabse mazedaar aur romantic segment—Couple Games! Har couple ka pyaar aur teamwork ka test hoga. Kya kahenge sab? Taiyaar hain(And now begins the most fun and romantic segment of the evening—Couple Games! Every couple's love and teamwork will be tested. What will everyone say? Are you ready?)"

The crowd cheered, with some couples looking eager, and others nervously laughing. Namrata sat by herself, sipping juice, pretending to look uninterested.

The first game was simple but hilarious—each couple had to pop a balloon by hugging it between them, without using their hands. The first to pop their balloon would win.

Ranbir pulled Prachi close, whispering teasingly, "Agar jeetna hai, toh close hona padega, Mrs. Kohli(If you want to win, you have to close, Mrs. Kohli!" Prachi, blushing, muttered, "Tumhara har waqt ka drama shuru ho jata hai(Your usual drama begins!)" They popped their balloon quickly, winning the first round.

Kartik, always the joker, pretended to struggle, making Naira laugh uncontrollably. They eventually popped their balloon with a dramatic "Arey!"

The older couple had everyone laughing when Raj cracked, "Balloon ke saath toh bas hum dosti kar rahe hain(So we are just friends with the balloon.)" But they popped it anyway, surprising everyone with their coordination.

Emcee: "And Prachi and Ranbir wins!"

While the games continued, Namrata found herself next to a tall, dimpled man named Aditya, who introduced himself as Ranbir's childhood friend.

Aditya: "Aap toh Namrata ji hain, right? Ranbir ne kaha ki aap ke liye ek khas partner hai aaj ke liye(You are Namrata, right? Ranbir said that you have a special partner for today.)"

Namrata laughed lightly. "Khas partner? Mujhe toh pata bhi nahi tha(Special partner? I didn't even know that!)"

They teamed up for the next game—The Blindfold Walk—where one partner had to guide the other through obstacles while blindfolded.

Aditya was charming and sweet, holding Namrata's hand gently and guiding her with precision. Namrata couldn't help but smile at his effortless warmth.

Across the room, Dhruv, who had just entered the hall late after a phone call, noticed Namrata laughing with Aditya. His cheerful expression changed instantly.

Dhruv (to himself): "Yeh kaunsa hero hai? Aur Namrata itni khush kyun lag rahi hai(Which hero is this? And why is Namrata looking so happy?)"

When it was Namrata and Aditya's turn, Dhruv stepped forward dramatically.

Dhruv: "Aditya bhaiya, aap bohot kaam karte hain. Main sambhalta hoon Namrata ji ko(Aditya brother, you work a lot. I will take care of Namrata ji.)"

Aditya, confused but amused, nodded.

Namrata raised an eyebrow. "Tum kyun aage aa rahe ho(Why are you coming forward?)"

Dhruv (smirking): "Kyuki aapko safe rakhna mera kaam hai. Aur waise bhi, aap itni mushkil games ke liye nahi bani ho(Because it is my job to keep you safe. And by the way, you're not meant for such difficult games.)"

By the end of the game, Dhruv intentionally made small mistakes, which caused Namrata to stumble into him. At one point, he caught her by the waist, making her heart skip a beat.

After the game ended, Aditya joined in clapping. Dhruv, still jealous, leaned over to Namrata.

Dhruv (softly): "Waise, us Aditya ke saath toh bohot maze kar rahi thi aap. Par samajh lena, kisi aur ke saath mujhe yeh bardasht nahi hoga(By the way, you were having a lot of fun with that Aditya. But understand, I will not tolerate this with anyone else.)"

Namrata looked away, trying to hide her blush.

The reception hall was filled with the delightful aroma of a grand buffet spread. Guests mingled around, chatting and filling their plates with the delicious food. Laughter echoed through the room as everyone enjoyed the evening, and the mood was light-hearted. Music played softly in the background, adding a pleasant rhythm to the ambiance.

Ranbir, dressed in his black tuxedo, stood with his plate in hand, scanning the room. His eyes soon found Prachi, who was talking to Naira and laughing at something Kartik had said. The sight of her beautiful smile made his heart skip a beat.

As Prachi turned around to pick up her glass, Ranbir quickly walked over to her. He leaned in with a mischievous smile.

Ranbir (teasingly):

"Arey, Prachi! Tumne khana liya? Kahan chali gayi sab(Hey, Prachi! did you take food? Where has everyone gone?)"

He playfully glanced at her half-filled plate and then at the long queue near the buffet.

Prachi (laughing):

"Haan, Ranbir, bas thoda sa liya hai, bas sab ke saath baat karte karte sab khatam ho gaya(Yes, Ranbir, just took a little bit, it was all over while talking with everyone.)"

Ranbir (grinning):

"Aise kaise? Tumhein to kuch khaana chahiye na(How so? Do you want something to eat?)"

Before she could respond, Ranbir playfully picked up a small piece of food, which was a delicate piece of chocolate mousse, and brought it close to her mouth.

Ranbir (softly):

"Tumhare liye khana bhi kuch khaas hona chahiye(Food should also be something special for you.)"

Prachi blushed slightly, the sweet gesture catching her off guard. She opened her mouth hesitantly, and Ranbir fed her with his hand, watching her intently. Prachi closed her eyes as the chocolate mousse melted on her tongue, savoring the taste.

Prachi (in a soft voice):

"Hmm... Yeh kitna accha hai. Tumne kaise jaane ke yeh mera favorite hai(Hmm...that's so good. How did you know this was my favorite?)"

Ranbir (smirking):

"Mujhe sab pata hai, Prachi. Tumhare chhote chhote pasand bhi(I know everything, Prachi. Even your little likes.)"

He winked at her, making her blush even more.

But Prachi wasn't going to let him off that easily. She grabbed a piece of salad from her plate and leaned in towards him, looking mischievously.

Prachi (playfully):

"Aap bhi na... chhupke se khana khilana aur phir apni tareef sunana. Tumhare liye ek surprise hai(You too... feed me secretly and then listen to your praise. There is a surprise for you.)"

With a sly smile, she fed him the piece of salad, making him raise an eyebrow in surprise.

Ranbir (feeling the fun):

"Yeh surprise tha(Was this a surprise?)"

He chewed the salad, making a face. "Arre yaar, salad thoda... zyada healthy ho gaya. Tumhe to mujhe chocolate mousse khilana tha(Oh man, the salad has become a little... more healthy. You had to feed me chocolate mousse!)"

Prachi (laughing):

"Aapke liye thoda healthy bhi zaroori hai na(It's important for you to be a little healthy too, isn't it?)"

She winked back at him, making him laugh.

The moment was light, carefree, and sweet—just like their relationship had become. The warmth between them was evident as they playfully fed each other, laughing and enjoying the small moments that made their love feel real. Ranbir couldn't resist one last gesture. He grabbed a small bite of cake, turned toward Prachi, and without a word, fed it to her once again.

Ranbir (gently):

"Yeh rahi tumhari sweet ending(Here's your sweet ending.)"

Prachi (blushing):

"Aap bohot sweet ho, Ranbir(You are very sweet, Ranbir.)"

The way they looked at each other spoke volumes. It was a moment of quiet intimacy amidst the hustle of the party—just the two of them, sharing something so simple, yet so profound. They had been through so much, and yet, here they were, in each other's company, lost in a shared world of love.

Prachi (softly):

"Main kabhi nahi soch sakti thi ki yeh sab ho sakta hai... Tumhare saath(I could never have imagined that all this could happen... with you.)"

Ranbir gave her a tender smile.

Ranbir (sincerely):

"Yeh sab tumhare saath hi ho sakta hai, Prachi. Tum ho toh sab kuch perfect hai(All this can happen to you only, Prachi. You are there so everything is perfect.)"

As they continued to feed each other, their playful teasing and heartfelt gestures were a perfect reflection of the bond they had. It wasn't just about the food; it was about their love, trust, and the beautiful life they were beginning together.

The scene ended with Ranbir stealing a quick kiss on her cheek as they continued to enjoy the party, surrounded by their friends and family.

The grand buffet spread continued to attract the guests, and as the evening progressed, the energy in the room became more relaxed. People were now enjoying the food, sharing laughs, and mingling. The ambiance had a perfect balance of excitement and warmth as different groups gathered to savor the meal.

Kartik and Naira found a cozy corner near the buffet table. Kartik, ever the prankster, scooped up a bite of pasta and teased Naira.

Kartik (grinning):

"Aaj toh tumhe mera favorite dish mil gaya... Pasta(So today you found my favorite dish...pasta!)"

Naira rolled her eyes but smiled, knowing exactly what Kartik meant. He loved making light of things, and she loved him for it.

Naira (playfully):

"Haan, aur tumhare favorite pasta khaate time tum kabhi bhi mera mood khatam kar dete ho (Yes, and you always kill my mood while eating your favorite pasta!)"

Kartik (grinning mischievously):

"Main toh bas tumhe entertain kar raha hoon, Naira. Tumhare liye toh best hai sab kuch(I am just entertaining you, Naira. Everything is best for you.)"

He handed her a plate with some food, looking at her fondly. Naira accepted it with a smile, reaching for her own plate, and they both took a bite together.

Naira (laughing):

"Mujhe lagta hai, tumhe khana khane ka mazae sirf mujhe dekhkar aata hai(I think you enjoy eating food only after seeing me.)"

Kartik (teasing):

"Nahi, Naira, tumhein dekhna mazae hai! Khana toh bas excuse hai(No, Naira, it's fun to watch you! Food is just an excuse!)"

They both laughed, continuing to share food and inside jokes, with their chemistry obvious to everyone around.

At the same time, Dhruv and Namrata were also near the buffet. Dhruv was trying to impress Namrata with his playful attitude, but she wasn't making it easy for him.

Dhruv (smiling):

"Toh, Namrata, tumne kis dish ko sabse pehle try kiya(So, Namrata, which dish did you try first?)"

Namrata, still a little cautious, raised an eyebrow but couldn't help herself from smiling.

Namrata (smirking):

"Mujhe lagta hai, aapko sabse pehle cake try karna chahiye, kyunki apna face bhi cake jaise lag raha hai(I think, you should try the cake first, because your face also looks like a cake!)"

Dhruv laughed loudly, taking the playful banter in stride.

Dhruv (laughing):

"Toh yeh kehna chahte ho ki main cake jaise sweet hoon(So you want to say that I am sweet as cake?)"

Namrata (teasing):

"Kahi na kahi, aapko apni sweetness thodi badhaani hogi(Somehow, you have to increase your sweetness a little!)"

Namrata picked up a piece of cake and fed it to Dhruv with a smile.

Namrata (softly):

"Lekin, cake toh sirf shuruat hai(But, the cake is just the beginning.)"

Dhruv accepted the cake, looking impressed by her wit. He tried to flirt again, but this time, Namrata was just a little too busy enjoying her food.

Dhruv (playfully):

"Tumhare saath yeh moment zindagi ka sabse acha moment ban sakta hai(This moment with you can become the best moment of life.)"

Namrata gave him a look, silently accepting the sweet gesture but not taking the bait.

Babita and Raj, the elders of the family, were seated at a table nearby. They were enjoying the food, chatting about old times, and reminiscing about their past. Raj, always the jokester, was making light-hearted comments to Babita as they enjoyed their meal.

Raj (smiling):

"Tumhein pata hai, Babita, maine yeh sab tumhare liye kiya hai. Kahan, mujhe toh shuru se hi lagta tha ki kuch khaas hona chahiye tha(You know, Babita, I have done all this for you. Well, I felt from the beginning that something special should have happened.)"

Babita rolled her eyes playfully.

Babita (teasing):

"Oh Raj, humare shaadi ke baad tumne kuch khaas kiya toh nahi, par tumhare jokes aur khana toh hamesha khaas hote hain(Oh Raj, you may not have done anything special after our marriage, but your jokes and food are always special!)"

Raj laughed loudly and gestured to the food.

Raj (teasing):

"Jokes ki tarah, yeh khana bhi bohot mast hai(Like jokes, this is also very cool to say!)"

Babita smiled, taking a bite of her food, enjoying the pleasant moment together.

Babita (fondly):

"Mujhe laga tha ki hum dono shaadi ke baad zyada time nahi bita paayenge, par aaj yeh sab kitna perfect lag raha hai, Raj(I thought that we both would not be able to spend much time together after marriage, but today everything seems so perfect, Raj.)"

Raj (smiling softly):

"Kabhi kabhi, humari shaadi ki simplicity hi sabse khaas hoti hai(Sometimes, it is the simplicity of our marriage that is most special.)"

They shared a moment of silence, enjoying the simplicity of the evening and the company of each other.

Nearby, Naitik and Kairav were having a grandpa-grandson moment. Kairav was animated, sharing his day's adventures with Naitik, and Naitik, though older, listened attentively, nodding with pride.

Kairav (excitedly):

"Dadaji, mujhe lagta hai ki main Kairav the next superstar ho sakta hoon! Mujhe sabko dance karwana hai, sabko(Grandpa, I think I can be Kairav the next superstar! I want to make everyone dance, everyone!)"

Naitik (laughing softly):

"Tum toh sach mein super energetic ho, Kairav. Tumhara energy kisi aur ki tarah nahi hai(You are really super energetic, Kairav. Your energy is like no one else.)"

Kairav was enthusiastic, as always, and Naitik couldn't help but admire his son's zest for life.

Naitik (with pride):

"Mujhe lagta hai ki tumhara future bohot bright hai(I think your future is very bright!)"

Kairav (enthusiastically):

"Dadaji, main toh apne dreams poore karunga. Main sabko dance sikhaunga(Grandpa, I will fulfill my dreams. I will teach everyone to dance)"

As they continued to eat, Kairav's excitement filled the air. Naitik, content and proud, listened as his son talked about all his plans for the future, feeling grateful for moments like these.

As the joyous reception drew closer to its end, Kartik walked onto the stage with a mic in hand, calling for everyone's attention.

Kartik (smiling):

"Aaj ki shaam, itni khoobsurat rahi, aur isse aur yaadgaar banane ke liye, humare paas ek chhota sa surprise hai. Toh sab log bahar chaliye(This evening has been so beautiful, and to make it more memorable, we have a little surprise. So everyone, let's go out!)"

Curious and excited, the entire gathering followed Kartik outside to the sprawling garden. The cool night breeze greeted them, and the dark sky above seemed like a blank canvas waiting to be painted.

Naira (whispering to Prachi):

"Yeh Kartik ka idea tha. Fireworks ke bina toh shaadi incomplete lagti hai(This was Karthik's idea. Without wedding ceremonies, marriage seems incomplete.)"

Prachi nodded, her face lighting up in anticipation as Ranbir came to stand by her side, his hand gently resting on the small of her back.

As everyone gathered in the open, a sudden whistle pierced the air, and the first firework shot into the sky. It exploded in a dazzling burst of gold, illuminating the faces of the onlookers. The crowd cheered as one after another, fireworks soared high, painting the sky with vibrant colors—red, blue, green, and gold.

Ranbir leaned toward Prachi, his voice soft amidst the cheers.

Ranbir (smiling):

"Yeh raat bhi tumhari tarah khoobsurat hai. Par ab mujhe lagta hai, yeh saare rang bhi tumhare rangon ke aage feeke pad gaye(This night is also beautiful like you. But now I feel, all these colors also pale in comparison to your colors.)"

Prachi turned to him, her eyes shimmering just like the lights above.

Prachi (teasing):

"Compliments dena band karo, Ranbir. Main sharma jaungi(Stop giving compliments, Ranbir. I will feel shy.)"

He chuckled and gently held her hand, his thumb brushing over her fingers.

Amidst the sparkling show, a unique firework lit up the sky. As it exploded, the words "Pranbir Forever" shimmered in golden letters against the darkness. Gasps and applause erupted from the crowd as everyone admired the sweet gesture.

Babita (to Raj):

"Aapne yeh plan kiya(You planned this?)"

Raj (grinning):

"Main karta toh kya itna chhupata? Yeh toh shayad Ranbir ka idea hai(If I did, would I hide so much? This is probably Ranbir's idea.)"

Prachi turned to Ranbir in shock, her smile widening.

Prachi:

"Yeh tumne kiya, Ranbir(You did this, Ranbir?)"

Ranbir (pretending to be nonchalant):

"Agar haan, toh(If yes, then?)"

Prachi (smiling):

"Toh main aur zyada tumse pyaar kar baithungi(So I will fall in love with you even more.)"

He laughed softly, his hand still holding hers tightly.

Standing side by side, Naira leaned her head on Kartik's shoulder, sighing contentedly.

Naira: "Yeh shaadi humein apni shaadi ki yaad dilati hai(This marriage reminds us of our marriage.)"

Kartik: "Aur woh yaad toh main kabhi bhool hi nahi sakta. Tum toh tab bhi sabse khoobsurat thi, aur ab bhi(And I can never forget that memory. You were the most beautiful then, and even now.)"

Naira giggled, playfully nudging him as he laughed.

Namrata stood with her family, clapping at the dazzling display. Dhruv walked up, pretending to admire the fireworks but stealing glances at her.

Dhruv: "Beautiful, right?"

Namrata (focusing on the sky): "Haan, fireworks toh hamesha hi sundar hote hain(Yes, fireworks are always beautiful.)"

Dhruv (muttering): "Main fireworks ki baat nahi kar raha tha(I was not talking about fireworks...)"

As the finale began, a symphony of fireworks lit up the sky, bursting in intricate patterns. The golden crackles, spirals of green, and cascades of silver filled the air with wonder. The guests clapped and cheered as the night sky turned into a masterpiece.

The final firework soared high and burst into a heart shape, leaving everyone in awe. As the sparks faded, the guests began to applaud loudly, their hearts full from the magical evening.

Ranbir (to Prachi):

"Yeh shaam meri zindagi ki sabse yaadgaar shaam ban gayi(This evening became the most memorable evening of my life.)"

Prachi (smiling):

"Mujhe toh lagta hai, yeh bas shuruat hai, Mr. Kohli(I guess this is just the beginning, Mr. Kohli.)"

They shared a soft smile, their hands intertwined as they looked at the now-silent, starry sky, knowing their love would always shine brighter.
