Ranbir stirred awake first, his eyes fluttering open to find Prachi's head resting on his chest.

Her hair was slightly messy, framing her serene face, her sindoor still vibrant in the parting of her hair, and her mangalsutra glinting faintly in the morning light.

He smiled to himself, marveling at how perfect she looked—like she belonged there, in his arms, forever.

A small smile tugged at his lips as he brushed a strand of hair from her face.

Prachi tried to get up, but Ranbir held her by the waist, pulling her back into his arms.

Ranbir smirked mischievously and leaned closer, his breath fanning her ear.

Ranbir (whispering):

"Ghar jaag gaya toh kya? Hum ab pati-patni hain. Agar koi kuch kahega toh keh dena... tumhara pati tumhare bina nahi reh sakta(So what if the house wakes up? We are now husband and wife. If someone says something then let them say it... Your husband cannot live without you!)"

Prachi playfully pushed him away, finally managing to get up, but not without Ranbir pulling her back one last time for a quick kiss on her cheek.

Ranbir (grinning):

Prachi threw a pillow at him, blushing furiously as she rushed to get ready.

The Kohli house was a sight to behold. Beautiful flower garlands adorned every corner, and the fragrance of incense wafted through the air. The family had gathered in the main hall, dressed in traditional attire, as the priest prepared for the pooja.

Prachi stepped into the hall, draped in a stunning mustard-yellow saree with a delicate red border. Her hair was tied neatly in a braid, adorned with small jasmine flowers. Ranbir, in a white kurta-pajama with a golden stole, couldn't take his eyes off her.

Ranbir (whispering to Dhruv): "Dekha? Maine shaadi sahi ladki se ki hai(See? I have married the right girl.)"

Dhruv (grinning): "Waise tum kitne lucky ho, yeh toh sab jaante hain(Well, everyone knows how lucky you are.)"

The pooja began with the priest reciting mantras. Ranbir and Prachi, as the newlywed couple, were seated at the center with their hands joined. A coconut was placed in their hands, symbolizing their shared responsibilities as husband and wife.

Prachi, immersed in the rituals, folded her hands and prayed sincerely. 

Ranbir, however, couldn't help but steal glances at her.

Ranbir (whispering to Prachi): "Tum toh meri life mein pehle se sukh aur shanti le aayi ho(You have already brought happiness and peace in my life.)" 

Prachi (hushed but blushing): "Ranbir, concentrate!"

The priest handed them aarti thalis, and the couple performed the aarti together, moving the thali in circular motions as everyone sang in devotion.

Kambakht inse bhi khoobsurat hai tu

After the pooja, the family gathered to bless the couple. Naitik, Kaira, Naira,Dhruv even Kairav were present, showering flowers on them.

Naira: "Prachi, tumhari shaadi ke baad toh ghar ka mahal hi alag ho gaya hai(Prachi, after your marriage the palace of the house has become different.)"

Kartik (teasing Ranbir): "Aur Ranbir, lagta hai tumhari pehli pooja kaafi serious thi. Pooja ke baad uth ke kyun nahi bol rahe ho kuch(And Ranbir, it seems your first pooja was quite serious. Why are you not saying anything after getting up after the pooja?)"

The family burst into laughter as Prachi blushed furiously.

Naira handed out prasad to everyone, and Ranbir made sure to grab an extra serving for Prachi. As she reached for the bowl, he pulled it back with a mischievous grin.

As the family continued laughing and teasing, the atmosphere was filled with love and happiness. It was the perfect start to their married life, with laughter, rituals, and a bond that only grew stronger with each moment.
