Namrata took out a USB drive and inserted it into the TV. The screen lit up with footage from an earlier family function meet. In the clip, Kunal was seen following Prachi, his eyes lingering on her with an unsettling intensity.

The footage shifted to a moment after Ranbir had left the balcony on the morning after the first meet. Prachi's churidar's tie had come loose, and Kunal approached her.

Kunal then reached out to touch her back, but Prachi immediately stepped back, visibly uncomfortable.

Prachi (in the footage): "Tum jaise gire hue aadmi ko mujhe aur mere honewale pati ko judge karne ka koi haq nahi hai! Ranbir ji ek achhe insaan hain, aur main unki hamesha izzat karungi(A man like you has no right to judge me or my future husband! Ranbir ji is a good person, and I will always respect him)," she declared, her chin raised defiantly.

The clip ended. A shocked silence filled the room.

Kartik: (furiously) "Kunal! Yeh kya dekh rahe hain hum? Tum itne gir gaye ki Prachi ke saath aisa karne ki koshish ki(Kunal! What is this we are seeing? You stooped so low as to try to do this to Prachi?)"

Namrata didn't stop there. She gestured to someone outside the door. A goon, flanked by two men, walked into the room. He looked nervous but determined.

The goon hesitated, but a stern look from Namrata gave him the courage to speak.

Goon: "Haan, Kunal saab ne mujhe paisa diya tha. Unhone bola tha ki Kashmir market se Prachi madam ko utha le jaayein jab woh Ranbir sir ke saath ghoom rahi thi(Yes, Kunal Boss had given me money. He told me to kidnap Prachi madam from the Kashmir market when she was roaming with Ranbir sir.)"

He used a lighter to ignite the fuel. Moments later, a fire broke out.
