A bustling market square, lit with strings of fairy lights. The festive mood of the crowd is in stark contrast to the storm brewing in Ranbir's heart. He paces nervously by a quiet tea stall, glancing at his watch. Moments later, Dhavani arrives, her bright smile lighting up her face as she waves at him.

Dhavani (cheerfully):

"Ranbir! Tumne mujhe yahaan kyun bulaya? Tumhare paas toh waise bhi time kam hota hai shaadi ki taiyariyon ke beech(Ranbir! Why did you call me here? Anyway, you have less time between wedding preparations.)"

Dhavani (concerned):

"Kya baat hai, Ranbir? Tum itne tense kyun lag rahe ho(What's the matter Ranbir? Why do you look so tense?)"

Ranbir's eyes filled with guilt, but he stood firm.

Ranbir:

"Haan, Dhavani. Yeh sach hai. Aur main tumse maafi maangne ka bhi haq nahi rakhta. Par mujhe tumhe sab sach batana tha(Yes, Dhavani. It is true. And I don't even have the right to apologize to you. But I had to tell you the whole truth.)"

Ranbir hung his head, unable to meet her eyes.

Ranbir (quietly):

"Dhavani, main yeh sab karna nahi chahta tha. Par main kisi aur se pyaar karta hoon... Prachi (Dhavani, I did not want to do all this. But I love someone else...Prachi.)" 

At the mention of Prachi's name, Dhavani froze. Her anger dissipated, replaced by confusion and an ache she couldn't describe.

Dhavani (softly):

"Prachi? Tum usse pyaar karte ho... toh yeh sab kyun kiya(Prachi? You love her... so why did you do all this?)"
