Basically, in the middle of eighth grade, we were doing this painting thing in advisory (homeroom) and someone didn't want this simple red-and-purple watercolour, and I saw it and knew I wanted to do something with it, so I kept it. Now, almost a year later, I have finally done something with it. I sketched out an outline, took some black acrylics and filled in the space. I think it came out really well. Obviously, it's not done, I'm gonna add some water, the sun, maybe some rim lighting, and the I'll repost. I'm really proud of it as it is currently, though, because I have never worked with acrylics and I just really like the palm tree. So anyways, thank you, my hoarding eighth-grade self.
