Tally was typing on the computer. "Did you catch that energy fluctuation?"

Riley nodded. "I'm already searching for the source."

"This areas sure had a lot of activity lately. What do you thinks going on?"

Riley shrugs. "I think something big is going down."

"Like how big?" Tally asks.

"If these readings are correct, and I think they are, then we're gonna get a level of bio-emergents unlike anything we've seen before. "

In Rika's yard, Kyubimon is sleeping and Rika is thinking.

Why would she risk herself to save me? Can data really have feelings? I never thought this would be so complicated.

Tiffany and Blaine were on their way to the school together.

Blaine held Gatomon in his arms.

The cat blinked as she stared off into the sky.

"Is something wrong Gatomon?" He asked.

Gatomon sighs. "I have no idea...I just have a bad feeling."

Tiffany frowns. "Do you think another digimon will bio merge?" She asked.

Blaine waved her off. "Don't worry. Gatomon has these kind of senses. She told my sister not to eat the pizza in the fridge because it was spoiled. And my sis didn't believe her." Blaine chuckles. "She was sick for a week."

Tiffany looks down at the ground. "Hey Blaine.." She whispers.

The green hair boy stared over at her. "Yeah?" He asks.

"I'm not the person who I'm trying to be." She said sadly.

The green haired boy raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"Before you saved me from Tapirmon...I was a real jerk. I was a bully... (tears formed in her eyes) I was little miss popular. I cared more about my looks and popularity. Instead of actual people...

Blaine started to laugh.

Tiffany looked up at him. She had her hands over her elbows.

"Tiffany, the person who you were in the past. Is not the person you are now. Yes I can see that your battling with that person. But I also feel like you were once the person you are now. You just have to believe in yourself."

Tiffany smiled slowly at him. "Thank you Blaine."

Gatomon threw her fist into the air. "Everyone deserves a second chance."

At Takato's parents bakery.

"No need to make breakfast!" Takato shouts as he races to the door.

"We own a bakery, that's all we make!" Takato's Mom shouted after him.

Takato runs to the hideout.

"Morning, Guilmon! "

Guilmon waves at Takato with a huge grin.

"Morning, guess what? Last night while I was sleeping, it felt like I'd disappeared and went some place else. "

Takato sweatdrops at the thought that Guilmon left the hideout. "You didn't break out again, did you?"

Takato and Guilmon are walking along the street.

"Oh I get it, that was a dream." Takato explains

Guilmon tilts his head. "A dream? Like when I think of snacks?" He asks.

"It's like going into your own world inside your head. " He pointed out.

"Do you dream?"

Takato smiles. "Everyone does, but..."

Guilmon cuts him off. "Is your dream world as boring as mine? All white and bright and empty? "

Takato laughs. "Mine's full of stuff! That's where I first thought of you, Guilmon."

Guilmon pouts. "I must have the most boring one ever, can I paint my dream all blue? "

Takato rubs the back of his neck. "Hah, It's weird though, I've never heard of anyone talk about a digimon dreaming."

"Hm?"

Takato sees that Guilmon's lower half is disappearing.

Takato gasps "Huh?"

"Why is your face all funny? "

Takato points at him. "Your legs!"

Guilmon looks down at his legs.

Takato pulls Guilmon away as fats as he can.

"Hey!"

Takato stares at the area.

Guilmon frowns. "What's the matter did I do something wrong?"

Takato shook his head. "No, but something really weird is going on here."

In a classroom.

Henry held up his hand. "Wait, start at the beginning."

Henry, Blaine, and Tiffany all stood in a empty classroom together.

"Okay we were just walking and then , I don't know it was like half of him was there and the other half was starting to be rubbed out by an eraser. "

Blaine shook his head. "I just don't get it."

"Well, digimon aren't of this world, maybe some of them can't last long here and they get pulled back into their world or something like that. Or maybe our world eliminates them like the body gets rid of a virus."

Tiffany frowns. "But will that eventually happen to the other digimon as well. Terriermon, and Gatomon?" she asked.

Blaine barred his teeth. "Then if that's the case, my sister's digimon Pansamon will also deal with the same problem.

Henry shrugged. "We still don't know if this is going to happen to our digimon or not."

Tiffany sighed. "Maybe we should investigate some." she suggested.

This caught everyone attention. "If we can find the source of the problem...maybe, just maybe we can stop it before it can take away your guys digimon partners."

Takato looks down at his shoes. "Uh, but, Guilmon just got here I don't want him to disappear. He just can't go back to the other side."

Tiffany frowns, and walks over to Takato. She rests her hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry Takato. We will help Guilmon before it's too late." she reassured him.

Terriermon who was in Henry's backpack, poked his head out. "Moumantai. The world I'm from, the world you're from, they're really both the same if really think about it. "

Gatomon nodded. "Their is only a few minor differences between both our worlds. But in the long run, they both seem to be carbon copies of one another." she informed the group with a smile.

"Yeah, well thanks, professors, but I want him here. " He mumbled.

Tiffany felt bad for Takato. If she had a digimon partner, she would be worried for them too. She wouldn't want them to leave her.

Henry crossed his arms over his chest. "That may not be possible, Takato."

"What? What are you trying to say, Henry? Do you know something? Tell me. "

"Calm down, Takato." Blaine said.

"I just know that nothing can last forever, Takato. Nothing. I'm sorry."

Takato shook his head.

"Well this can and it will. "

Takato turns and runs looking angry at Henry.

"Takato!" Tiffany yelled at him. She held a hand over her heart.

"He seems to have woken up on the wrong side of the cat bed." Gatomon mumbles.

"Gatomon"

Gatomon shrugged.

Terriermon stares after Takato. "Hm..."

Tiffany starts walking away from them. "Don't worry, I will try talking to him." She reassured them.

Blaine and Henry nodded.

On the street, Yamaki is opening and closing his lighter again and he gets a phone call.

"This had better be important." He said slightly angry.

"Sir, we're getting some strange readings and one of the researchers needs you to explain something to him." Tally spoke to him on the other end.

"Ugh, I don't know why I bother explaining. None of these imbeciles understand what I say anyway. "

"So, what should I tell him?"

Yamaki shrugs. "That he's an officious little toady. Ugh, I'll be there shortly. "

He hangs up and continues walking.

"What was that? " he asks out loud.

Yamaki stops and turns around.

"Hm...could've sworn I felt something. "

In Takato's classroom, Ms. Asaji is writing on the board and Takato's in his own world.

Tiffany stared at Takato from the back of the classroom. A look of worry was across her face. I hope Takato isn't thinking too much about this.

"What'll I do if Henry's right and Guilmon completely disappears? He can't leave me. Maybe if he digivolved he'd have enough strength to defeat whatever's trying to erase him." He whispers quietly to himself

"Digivolve?" A female voice asked.

Takato looks up to see Jeri standing next to him. She was holding her puppet next to him. "Huh?"

"Bad!" Jeri said through the sock puppet.

Great, now Jeri thinks I'm crazy and she's crazier than Calumon. Takato thinks to himself.

Ms. Asaji coughs to get her students attention. "Well kids, the city wants me to talk about the tunnel beneath the park that's for use when the rain causes flooding,but it seems like a pretty useless lesson to me."

Takato tilts his head. "Huh?"

Of course I didn't know about the tunnel. I just moved here. Tiffany thought to herself.

"I mean everybody already knows about the tunnel, right?" She asks.

"I don't." Takato said.

"Me either" Tiffany nodded

Ms. Asaji sighed. She didn't look like she wanted to give a lesson about a tunnel.

"So this tunnel..."

After school Takato runs to the hideout. Tiffany was following behind him.

"Takato!"

Takato turned his head to see the blonde hair girl.

"Tiffany?" He asks.

"Takato, I know how you must be feeling. But don't worry we will help you." She said softly.

Takato smiles as well. "Thank you Tiffany."

"Don't mention it, and don't go telling Kazu or Kenta. Because then they will tease me about it." She said in a warning manner. "You wouldn't want to end up a dead man?" she asked playfully.

Takato chuckles. "I'm going to the hideout."

"I thought so, do you want me to come along?"

"Sure"

"Oh, poor Guilmon must be bored out of his mind." Takato exclaimed as the two of them raced to the hideout.

The two saw Calumon jumping and talking to Guilmon.

"Huh?"

"Guilmon looks like he is having a great time" Tiffany laughs.

"Just one game of tag, please!" She asks while she put her tiny hands together.

Calumon? Great... Takato sweatdrops.

"Hey, Takato's home!" Guilmon cheered.

"So, you guys staying out of trouble?" Takato asks.

Calumon shook her head. "Nope."

Tiffany giggles. "I can see that."

"Calumon, just where do you hang out when you're not here? You must have a home, right?" Takato asks.

"I can go wherever I want in the whole wide world. So I don't need to have a home, silly." Calumon waved him off.

"Aren't you...lonely?" He asks.

"It must be boring." Tiffany added.

"What do you mean lonely and boring?"

"Like when you're by yourself making pictures of all kinds of cool monsters and stuff, but there's nobody around to look at your drawings with you"

Calumon shook her head. "Hm...nope, never felt like that. Seems kinda silly."

She hops away laughing.

"Hey you know, it is silly." Guilmon mumbles aloud.

"Ugh... "

Tiffany put a hand over her mouth and giggled.

In the Hypnos Building, Yamaki is having a meeting with the researcher.

"I'm only going to go through this one more time, so do try to pay attention. The network of interlinked electronic devices around the world, the Internet, the stock markets and even wireless communications has essentially created a whole new plane existence, a digital plane. This system, Hypnos, monitors that world and records every exchange of information across it, looking for anything out of the ordinary. Simple enough for you?" Yamaki asks.

Researcher wrote this down on a notepad. "Do you keep track of personal data?"

"How else could we monitor criminal activity?"

"If any of the general public found out about this, we'd be treated like criminals. Make sure to keep this very quiet." The researcher informed him.

Yamaki walks in front of him.

Yamaki spoke sarcastically. "Ugh. Really? Gee, that never occurred to me. Listen, there's really no need for any of you to worry, we've got everything well under control."

Researcher shook his head. "No, you've got nothing under control, Yamaki. You've shown yourself to be powerless to stop those anomalies. Find a way to prevent them from bio-emerging and find the ones that have already come through, then eliminate them. "

On the street, Takato, Tiffany and Guilmon are walking and people are staring at Guilmon gasping.

Tiffany sweatdrops. "People are starting to stare." Tiffany mumbles. "Are you sure this is the best idea bringing Guilmon around in public?"

"Maybe Calumon's right about not needing a partner." Guilmon says aloud.

Takato frowns. "Um...uh, Guilmon, do you wanna leave me?"

"No, do you want me to leave?" Guilmon whimpered.

"Sometimes Guilmon, you can be very confusing."

Tiffany chuckles and nodded. "You can say that again"

At a school, Takato and Tiffany is asking questions. While other girls are poking Guilmon.

Guilmon whimpers. "Ow! Don't be so grabby. Takatomon! Tiffany"

Takato holds his hands behind his head. "She's got these um, huge ears."

"She has purple and white fur coat, she is about the size of a small stuff animal." Tiffany explained.

One of the girls points to the right. "Uh huh, there."

"This must be where Calumon has been hanging out so keep your eyes peeled." Takato states.

Tiffany nodded as she looks around the area.

"Where do you think she could be hiding?"

They keep on walking but Guilmon senses something and starts to run down an alley.

"Guilmon, what's wrong?"

"Do you think a digimon is bio merging?" she asks as she continues to run next to Takato.

"I hope not"

Guilmon runs faster. And Takato and Tiffany try to keep up.

"Why do I always end up chasing him?" he asks.

"I guess Guilmon just loves being chased." Tiffany suggested.

They stops at a dead end to see Renamon.

"Huh?"

"It's her!" Tiffany gasped. The blonde held up her fists. "Leave Guilmon alone!"

Guilmon growls at her.

"Renamon!" Takato shouted.

"Who are you expecting, kids? Your mommy's?" Renamon asks

"Very funny." Takato said while he narrowed his eyes.

"She is a real comedian" Tiffany mumbled.

Guilmon held up a claw to his face. "I don't think I have a mommy, do I? Wait, Takato's my mommy." He said happily.

Tiffany and Takato sweatdrop.

"Ah gees, Guilmon, don't call me that." Takato whined.

"Why not? You'd make a better mother than a tamer, the way you baby your digimon."

"Leave Takato alone!" Tiffany yelled.

'Now are we going to fight or are we going to flap our gums all day?"

"Why do you wanna pound on Guilmon all the time, huh? It doesn't make any sense." Takato asks.

"While she is just like her tamer. Crazy"

"Excuse me?"

Rika appears from behind Takato and Tiffany.

Tiffany sweatdrops. "I should've known she would be here."

"Well isn't it coward and the girl who doesn't have a digimon."

Takato, Tiffany and Guilmon turn around to see Rika.

"Rika." Takato and Tiffany said in unison.

"Why do you keep following me around? Are you in love with me, lover boy?" She asks Takato.

Takato shook his head. "I'm not following you around okay? Ugh."

"Hm."

"Huh?"

He looks at Rika and Takato back and forth.

"Are you guys gonna fight?"

Takato looks at him wondering.

"Who?" Takato asks.

Then he points to Rika then him and Guilmon nods.

Takato shook his head. "She's a girl and she'd kick my butt."

Rika makes a satisfied smirk.

"Hm."

"Oohh, Takato and Rika be in love." Tiffany sang.

Rika and Takato started to blush. "Be quiet!" The yelled at her.

"Okay I got it" Tiffany said as she stood terrified.

"You know, fighting's not always the answer." Takato exclaimed.

"The Cowards Credo."

"But it's the right thing. Not all digimon are evil. How do you think you would react if you went to an unknown world not of your own. You would be scared and want to protect yourself from anything that moves."

Rika turn her head. "Whatever."

"Look, maybe the two of us got off at the wrong foot. I'm Takato and you're Rika, right?" He asks.

"Yeah, so what? What? Are you writing a book about me or are you in love?"

"I thought you guys told me, that you weren't in love?" Tiffany teases.

"We're not in love!" They all at the top of their lungs.

"Ugh..." Takato groans.

At Rika's house, Takato, Tiffany and Rika are talking while Guilmon is smelling flowers and things and Renamon is standing there.

"I admit I saw you in a dream awhile back, and that's what's been really bugging me because I don't know what it means. But, don't get the wrong idea, I'm not following you around cause of that, I just had some questions about digimon, okay?"

Rika sighs. "All right kid, don't get your underwear all bunched up. "

"What do you mean kid, we're the same age."

"My thoughts exactly, can you stop calling us kids?" Tiffany asked.

I'm calling you two kids because you don't know anything about anything. You show up talking about seeing me in a dream, do you know how weird that is? Plus you Blondie don't even have a digimon, so you have no reason to be involved."

"Why does everyone call me Blondie?" She asks angrily. "Is it plastered on my forehead?"she flail her arms about.

Takato sweatdropped. The brown haired boy turn his attention to Rika. "I'm...I'm sorry, I just thought that...well that maybe we could work together."

Rika scoffed. "We can't."

Rika's Grandma called from inside of her house. "Rika!"

Rika groans. "Uh."

Renamon goes and grabs Guilmon and drags him behind the house holding him down so he won't get into her sight.

"You home?"

She comes to the door and opens it to see Rika, Tiffany and Takato near the pond.

Rika's Grandma smiles. "Oh, hi. Uh, I'm sorry, I'm just not used to Rika bringing boys home. And friends for that matter. What's your two names?"

"Takato."

"Tiffany"

Their not going to be here long. (She stares at them) You're not.

Rika's Grandma holds her hands together. "Why don't I make a couple snacks for the three of you? It'll only take a second to pop some cookies in the oven. How would you like them?"

Tiffany smiles softly.

"You don't have to go through so much of a hassle for us."

Rika's Grandma waved her words away. "It's no hassle at all. I love backing for everyone. It would be no problem at all."

"Thanks." Takato and Tiffany said in unison

"That's okay, Grandma their not staying. (to them) You're not."

Rika's Grandma waves at the two. "Well, bye. Hope you come see us again sometime."

"Sure!" Takato called back.

"It was a pleasure to meet you ma'am."

Rika whispers to them. "You're two are not coming back."

Her Grandma closes the door and leaves.

"Let go!" Guilmon cries.

Renamon lets go and he falls down catching Takato, Tiffany and Rika's attention.

"Um, so listen...what I wanted to ask you was whether or not digimon turn back into data? I mean do they ever just disappear and go back to their own world?" Takato asks

Rika nods. "Of course."

"Not like when you defeated Vilemon, but just like for no good reason?"

Rika shrugs. "Digimon are just data anyway, so...probably."

Tiffany frowns. She was about to say something. But she kept her mouth shut.

"Doesn't that...make you sad at all?"

Rika raised an eyebrow. "Hm."

She looks over at Renamon and rethinks it.

"Hm..."

Later that night, Takato, Tiffany and Guilmon are leaving Rika's.

"Ow! Stop pushing!"

"Move faster then." Renamon scorned.

"Well thanks, Rika., it's not everyday you get to meet your dream girl. Hm hm, sorry I just couldn't resist." Takato chuckled.

Tiffany sweatdrop. "Of course you couldn't because you two are in love."

"Shut up!" Rika growled.

"The Takata train has taken off." Tiffany teased.

"Takata?" Takato asks.

"Your ship name with Rika."

"Uck!"

Takato waves "Bye."

Guilmon waves as well. "Renamon, bye-bye."

"I hope you have a good night." Tiffany said with a smile.

"Hm."

Renamon turns her head and they start walking away.

"Hey!" Rika called to get their attention.

"Huh?" Guilmon tilted his head in confusion.

Takato turns back to look at her. "Yeah?"

Rika smirks. "You mention that dream again and I'll send you to dream land for good. "

She kicks up her leg as a threat.

Tiffany laughs.

"Man, she can't take a joke." Takato mummbles.

In the Hypnos Building.

Riley was typing away on her computer. "Got another weird reading. "

Yamaki was checking the bio merge energy. "For once it's not another wild one."

"This was what was talking about, I've never seen data like this."

"Send a tracer." Yamaki suggested.

"Already on it." Riley exclaimed.

On the screen the tracer goes to a cloud thing and gets sucked in.

"What?!"

"The tracer was absorbed. What is going on?" Yamaki asks in shock.

On the street, Takato, Tiffany and Guilmon are walking home.

"Well, today was fun you guys." Tiffany said warmly.

"Yeah" Takato nodded. He slowly started to frown. "I'm sorry for what I said to you a couple of days ago." He whispers.

Tiffany looks back at him in shock. "Huh?"

"You know, how I said you could get in danger. And I told you, you wouldn't be able to see Guilmon again."

Tiffany smiled. "Don't worry about that Takato. For one thing, I'm glad you stood up too me. Because for one, I have started to become who I once was. And I'm glad of it."

Takato nods.

The three of them continue walking down the sidewalk.

"Rika's a barrel of laughs, huh?"

Tiffany laughs. "You can say that again goggle brain" she teases in a similar voice to Rika.

Takato sweatdrops. "Don't do that." He mutters.

Tiffany chuckles. "I should go into voice acting." She teases.

Guilmon whimpers. "What about Renamon? Her idea of a joke is to punch me in the funny bone."

Takato laughs "Man, I was hoping that Rika would have more answers for us, something that would make this problem go away."

Tiffany nodded. "Maybe Rika doesn't know everything like she lets on. I can tell she is just trying to put on the tough girl routine." She explained.

"Hm? Hm..." Guilmon blinks.

"I've always loved digimon and I've always thought it would be cool to have a real one of my very own and then like magic you appeared Guilmon and everything was great, but now I'm not even sure if you're going to be able to stay with me or not, Guilmon. I guess I thought if I could learn more about digimon I'd be able to stop whatever's trying to erase you. I'm scared Guilmon." He said sadly.

"You know what? Calumon told me that being scared is pointless, it's kind of like trying to ice skate on sausages."

Tiffany sweatdropped. "That is one way to put it."

Takato chuckles. "I guess you're right, Guilmon, but I just wanna spend as much time with you as possible, you know?"

"Yeah."

Takato laughs.

Guilmon held up a claw. "Hey, let's do something really fun tomorrow. We could play tag until we dropped or eat until we can't move."

Tiffany smiles. "That sounds like it could be fun."

Takato and Tiffany stops seeing that Guilmon is disappearing again.

Tiffany gasped. "What's going on?!"

"Uh, it's happening again. Guilmon!"

Guilmon mummbles aloud. "I feel weird. I must be dreaming again, right? "

"Guilmon."

"Everything's fading."

"He starting to fade away" Tiffany exclaimed.

Takato shook his head. "No."

"I think I'm going away." Guilmon whispers.

Takato goes to Guilmon's side hugging him tight, crying.

Takato held onto him. "No, Guilmon, please hold on! I just got used to having you around, I can't imagine life without you anymore. You can't go. "

Tiffany held her hand over her mouth. She couldn't believe that Guilmon was fading away.

"I'll do my best to stay here."

Guilmon starts flashing bright and dim as he starts to disappear, Takato keeps hugging until Guilmon starts fading and he passes through falling to the ground.

"Guilmon."

Guilmon turns into data and scatters.

"Please, don't leave me. Guilmon! No." He cried.

Takato shook as he stared at the ground. He's gone, Guilmon's gone. I can't believe it. It's like he was never here, and there's nothing I can do.

Tiffany puts a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry Takato..." She whispered.

"It wasn't supposed to end like that-"

He pulls out his D-power cause it's beeping, then sees it's the compass to found his digimon.

"What's this?" Takato eyes grew wide. "That's Guilmon's signal."

"But how, we both just saw Guilmon turn into data." She said in shock.

Takato got up from the ground. "It have no idea Tiffany. But Guilmon is still here. We have to find him."

Tiffany nodded to agree with him

He looks around to see where it's coming from.

Takato points in front of them. "The tunnel!"

"Let's go!" Tiffany exclaimed.

"Wait we shouldn't go alone. We should call the others." He suggested.

Tiffany nodded to agree with him. "I'll call Blaine."

Tiffany pulls out her cell phone.

In Henry's apartment, Takato is on the phone calling for Henry and Suzie picks up and annoys Takato a little

"Hello. Hello. Hello." Suzie said over and over on the phone.

Takato sweatdrops. "Stop saying hello and get Henry, uh please?" He asked.

Suzie shouts over to Henry. "It's some angry kid, for Henry!"

"I'm not angry!"

At Takato's house, his parents are waiting for Takato to eat dinner.

"I hope Takato's alright, he's never been out this late before, has he?" Takato's father asked sadly.

His wife smiled. "Oh we were the same way when we were kids, always running around, playing, losing track of time."

He laughed. "I vaguely remember, that was about the time the dinosaurs died off, right?"

"Oh stop, we're not that old." She shook her head.

"I hope he's okay, though." He said as he looked out the window.

"I'm sure he's fine, I may be harsh on him form time to time, but I do trust his judgment.Yeah... But, since he's not here, let's eat all the ice cream we saved for dessert and tell him it melted."

"Um...I already ate it." Her husband rubbed the back of his neck.

At Rika's house, her Grandma is on the computer and she walks in the room.

"So I said, girlfriend as if, don't go there." Rika's Grandma laughs.

"Granny chat. Hm..." Rika mummbles.

"You know, I'd bet your mom would get you a computer if you wanted one."

Rika rested her chin in her hand. "Computers are boring."

Someone knocks on the door.

"Maybe that's your mother now, would you get that, honey?" She asks.

Rika walks to the front door to see that Takato, Tiffany, Blaine and Henry are standing on the other side.

"Ugh, great."

In the Hypnos Building.

"My little Yuggoth program should disinfect the area." Yamaki says loudly.

"Shouldn't we study the phenomenon sir?" Riley asks.

"Don't get soft on me now Riley. This little anomaly or whatever it is has caused me more grief than it's worth. And it's about to become nothing more than an unpleasant memory."

His com device makes funny noises.

"But sir, unapproved programs are strictly forbidden." She bit her lip.

"Forbidden? Those fools upstairs can't even begin to understand this technology let alone the idea that there's a whole digital world out there. Who do they think they are to forbid me anything?"

Riley nods agreeing with him. "Yes sir."

On the com device's screen, a little bar fills up under the word Yuggoth.

On the street, Takato is leading the others back to where Guilmon disappeared to.

"This is it you guys, this is where he disappeared."

"Hopefully he is okay." Tiffany whispers as she held a hand over her heart.

They keep walking.

"Rika." Renamon exclaims as she looks over at her.

"Uh." Rika gasps.

They turn around to see that Renamon's hands are disappearing.

Takato eyes grew wide. "It's happening to Renamon, too!"

"Don't move." Rika shouted.

"So that what happen to Guilmon." Blaine said in surprise.

"Terriermon." Henry eyes grew wide.

Terriermon jumps up on the stone wall.

"Check it out."

He holds up his ears to show they are fading away too.

"It's happening to Terriermon." Takato pointed out.

"He's not the only one." Gatomon said as she held up her paws.

Blaine stared down at Gatomon.

"What's going on with them?" He asks.

"Whatever it is that's causing this it seems only to affect the digimon. Renamon you'd better leave before you start to disappear too." Henry suggested.

Renamon turns her head to Rika. "Rika?"

Rika nods. It's okay, you can go.

Renamon disappears.

"I suppose you want me to go too, huh? Fine."

Terriermon walks away.

Gatomon sighs. "Well, it was a pleasure meeting you all again." She jumps out of Blaine's arms. "But it seems like I have to beat it before I lost one of my nine lives."

"I will see you later." Blaine called after her.

Rika looks at Henry
"Don't order my digimon around, got it? She's mine."

Henry shrugs. "I'm just trying to keep them out of danger."

Rika raised an eyebrow. "Why bother? Digimon are just data who cares if they disappear?"

Takato narrows his eyes. "Be quiet! I don't care what you say, Guilmon is my friend. And I'll do everything I can to find him, with or without you."

Henry pulls out his D-power.

"I'm getting a signal, come on, let's go and find Guilmon."

"I will go with you guys." Blaine suggested.

"Don't count me out." Tiffany smiled as she followed after them.

Takato and Henry walk away.

Rika speaks in a mocking tone "Let's go and find Guilmon, waste of time."

She sees them jump a fence.

Tiffany stands on the other side.

"Oh please don't tell you don't know how to climb a fence, Blondie."

Tiffany crossed her arms over her chest. "I know how to climb." She then looked down at the ground. "I just never climbed a fence before..."

Blaine sighs. "Tiffany it's really simple."

Tiffany nods and starts to climb the fence. When she reached the top and look down.

"Okay jump down." Henry said.

"It's kinda fair down."

"Are you serious!" Rika shouted at her.

Tiffany closed her eyes and jump down.

At Takato's house, his mom is washing the dishes and his dad is reading the paper.

"He'll be home any minute now, I'm sure of it." Mrs. Matsuki reassured herself.

"He's probably turning the corner for home, right now." Her husband said aloud as he turned the page.

"Yeah, but it is getting kind of late isn't it?" She asked worriedly.

In the Hypnos Building, Yamaki closes a little door for the Yuggoth program.

"Done."

Riley frowns. "I've got to state my objection one more time sir, this program could cause widespread network damage."

Yamaki narrows his eyes. "And I've got to warn you one more time, that you're walking on thin ice, Riley. Start the program before that ice breaks and drown."

Riley starts up Yuggoth.

In the tunnel.

"Why don't they make tunnels that aren't dark and scary?" Takato asks aloud.

"Who knows. They might like dark and spooky." Blaine teases. "They could be vampires for all we know." He added.

Takato rolls his eyes. " Are you trying to scare me."

Blaine shrugs. "It was worth a shot."

A door opens behind them and Rika emerges from it.

"Hey, Rika! You decided to come! That's awesome!" Takato smiles.

"Hm."

Takato shrugs. "Uh, you know whatever."

"A tamer doesn't walk away from danger." Rika says aloud.

"Still has that macho routine." Tiffany stated.

"Yeah, right. Enough talking, let's go find Guilmon." Henry suggested.

"Yeah! Um, it is kind of scary down here though, right guys?" Takato looks around the tunnels, as if someone would jump out in front of the five of them.

Rika shook her head. "Oh brother."

After walking awhile.

"How long is this stupid tunnel anyway?" Rika asked.

"My teacher said it goes all the way to the nest town." Takato informed her.

"She went into so much detail about this tunnel. I thought she didn't want to teach about it. But she didn't stop teaching once she started." Tiffany mummbles.

"That's so stupid."

"Yeah, so you say." Henry says.

"Hopefully Guilmon is up ahead somewhere." Blaine groaned as he looked around for the red reptile. "Tonight is a Marathon of supernatural."

"You poor little baby." Rika mocked him.

Takato sighs. "It's too bad they don't have one of those people movers, you know like at the airport, that'd come in handy about now, don't cha think?"

Rika shakes her head. As she looks up at the ceiling. "It's not funny, you know, I don't wanna walk all the way to the next town just to find your little fiend."

"Well if it makes you feel any better Rika, the tunnel might flood and we could all swim there." Henry pointed out.

Tiffany face grew pale. "But wouldn't we drown?"

"It's just my luck to be stuck down here with a couple comedians."

"Would you guys can it?"

Takato gets a straight on reading from his digivice.

"Look." Takato holds out his D-power for everyone to see.

"Forget the digivice, take a look at that." Henry points straight ahead.

Takato, Blaine, Tiffany and Rika look to see a digital field, with no wild digimon in it.

"What is it?" Takato asked.

In the Hypnos Building, Riley is closing in on the target.

"I've pinpointed the energy field." Riley annoucned.

Yamaki smiles. "Well done. Prepare to delete the area."

Back at the cloud thing.

"Guilmon must be inside of that thing, I know he is! Guilmon!" Takato cupped his hands over his mouth and started to shout.

"Don't be stupid, how could you possibly know that?" Rika asked.

"She's right Takato. What happens of it's a wild digimon. The other digimon aren't here to protect us." Tiffany said as she held a hand over her heart. "I know you are worried about Guilmon...we all are. But we have to look before we leap."

Takato frowns. "I don't know how, I just feel that he's in there."

Takato's D-power glows and a beam shoots out of it, then Henry's, Blaine's and Rika's.

"What's going on?" Takato asks.

Blaine stares down at his d-power. "It's as if our D-power are connected to this cloud."

"The digivices connect us to our digimon, maybe we can use them."

Henry points his at the cloud, then Takato sees and copies, and so does Rika and Blaine.

Tiffany watches them. She wished that she could help but she didn't have a D-power of her own.

"Look, something's happening!" Takato shouted at his friends.

"It opened." Henry said in surprise.

"Guilmon! Hold on, I'm coming!"

Takato puts on his goggles and runs in.

"Hey! Wait!"

Henry does the same.

"Tiffany stay out here." Blaine instructed. As he puts on sunglasses and jumps through the cloud.

"Stupid."

Rika follows.

Tiffany stares at the cloud sadly.

After running in all of them are floating around.

"Uh, uh, uh." Takato stares through the mist. Trying to find a sign of Guilmon.

"Whoa!" Rika states.

"Maybe the digital world from the TV show is real and we're in it." Henry suggested.

Blaine shook his head. "I don't think so. I always imagined the digital world to look diffrent."

"Guilmon, I think I see him.

Takato starts to go after him, but he's flying rather than walking.

"Cool, this is how I fly in my dreams."

"I always did want to fly " Blaine grins as he follows.

"Wait up."

Henry goes after.

"Ugh, you and your dreams. At least Blondie isn't here..."

She follows again.

They fly to see Guilmon tied up in energy.

"There he is! Guilmon, wake up!" Takato yells.

Guilmon opens his eyes.

"Right now? Five minutes."

Takato smiles and laughs a little.

"Don't worry boy, I'll get you out of there, somehow."

A crash happens.

"What's that?" Henry asked.

Blaine shrugs. "I have no idea. But it didn't sound good."

In the Hypnos Building, Riley is monitoring the cloud.

"Sir, some unusual data has entered the zone created by the energy field."

"I don't care just run the program, delete everything now." Yamaki instructed.

In virtual reality the Yuggoth program goes after the field.

In the zone, they see the zone being erased.

"What's that?" Takato asked.

"Look!"

Rika notices the binds holding Guilmon start to get erased.

"It's being erased!"

Guilmon starts to panic. "Uh..."

"I can't reach him in time. Help!" Takato tries to fly faster.

Henry grabs Takato shoulder. "Hey!"

Rika looks over at Henry and understood. "Huh? Oh."

Takato goes back enough for Rika and Henry to grab one arm and toss him back a little then throw him to Guilmon. Guilmon sees him coming, then breaks through the binds.

"I though I was gonna lose you for sure." Takato sighed in relief.

Guilmon glows red and makes a red path leading to the outside.

"Whoa!" Everyone gasped.

"He's created a road for us!" Henry exclaimed.

"Thanks Guilmon, your a life savior." Blaine chuckles.

"Yeah, well Renamon could've done the same thing." Rika says unimpressed.

Henry, Blaine and Rika float down and start running to the outside.

"You okay?" Takato asks.

"Skating on sausages." Guilmon smiles

"Have your reunion later, we've gotta get out of here before we're erased." Henry shouted after them.

Takato and Guilmon nod at each other.

"Mm hm."

The zone gets deleted slowly behind them as they run out.

In the Hypnos Building, the zone on the screen gets erased.

"The zone has been deleted sir."

Yamaki smiles "Problem solved."

In the park they all run to the center.

"I'm so glad your all safe." Tiffany said in relief.

"You doubted us?" Blaine asked teasingly.

"I never would have gotten Guilmon back without your help, I don't know how to thank you guys."

"That's easy, just say thank you." Guilmon informs him.

"Moumantai."

"Fish could be an offer." Gatomon suggested.

Renamon crossed her arms over her chest. "The little one didn't even do anything."

Terriermon pointed up at her. "Well neither did you."

"Look at you, blubbering over data."

Rika walks away and Renamon vanishes.

Takato laughs.

Mr. Matsuki calls out to his son. "Takato!"

All four of them stared towaeds the sound of his voice. "Huh?"

Mrs. Matsuki yelled after her husband. "We bought more ice cream!"

Takato smiles. "That could only be my parents."

"You were really brave, you know that?" Henry asked.

Tiffany smiles and nods. "He's right Takato. You are definitely not the same dorky kid I met on the playground. "

Takato smiles back. "And your not the same bossy, popular girl I met either."

Tiffany blushed. "Watch it goggle boy." She teased.

"Well good night you guys."

Henry runs to his house.

"You were brave too, you know." Takato calls after him.

"Good night everyone." Tiffany says as she walks away.

"Do you want me to walk you home Blondie?" Blaine asks.

"Call me that again and you will lose a finger." She said angrily.

"Good night you two. We couldn't have done it without you guys."

"That's because of you."

Takato looks at Guilmon happily.

"Good night, Guilmon. Tomorrow I'll bring you some ice cream."

Guilmon cheers happily. "Ice cream! Ice cream! Ice cream!"

They both run home.

A purple hair girl smiled and shook her head. "No thanks, Pansamon. I'm fine." She reassured him as she was drawing away in her sketchbook.

Her mother bit her lip as if she was hiding something. "I don't know dear...let's see how everything plays out..."
