It has been a couple of hours since the incident in the parking garage. Takato, Dewey, and Henry were chilling at the park as the sun was settling. 

"Who knew Terriermon had it in him? Oh sorry, Henry. Hey, don't worry about it. After all, Gargomon didn't hurt anyone. That girl is fine," Takato said.

Henry was leaning against a tree as he stayed silent.

"Look, Takatomon, I can walk on my hands," Guilmon said, walking toward them on his hands before he fell over."A little," He said with a groan.

Gargomon was seen doing a handstand against a tree, with the support of his ears."It's easier when you cheat," He said.

"Well, this was fun, but the time I got going," Dewey said, turning his attention away from Gargomon.

"Already, " Ryudamon said.

"Yeah, you hardly say anything since we got here," Takato commented. 

"Judt got something on my mind. Besides, I have plans with my little brother already running late," Dewey stated. 

"Yeah, I forgot you promised to play with him after later today, " Ryudamon said jumping into Dewey's arms.

"Geez really lucky my arm strength is not weak," Dewey said with a chuckle as he left Henry and Takato to deal with Gargomon trying to get him to de-digivolve back to Terriermon. 

Dewey was now making his way home with Ryudamon in his arms.

"Today was an interesting day gald we weren't involved with the whole Gargomon incident," Ryudamon stated.

"Yeah I was worried I would have to save Rika," Dewey said glancing down at Ryudamon. 

"I don't get it why care when she doesn't seem to appreciate your concern?" Ryudamon asked.

 "I know it doesn't make sense, but there has been something about her since I met her that has me drawn to her wanting her to always be safe," Dewey replied with a dazed expression in his eyes.

"Hey, what is that?" Ryudamon asked pointing over towards the right.

Hm," Dewey said with a hum, as he turned toward where Ryudamon was pointing and saw that there was a large building with many people outside wearing martial arts uniforms."That is a martial dojo. It is a place where people can learn the art of martial arts," He explained to Ryudamon. 

As Dewey studied the martial arts dojo, a familiar brown boy from the park a few days ago was seen skateboarding toward the dojo. He was wearing a green jacket with a long-sleeved blue shirt and black shirt and grey and blue shoes and was seen skateboarding with that same green monkey in his arms.

"Hey there are you interested in martial arts?" The boy asked as he greeted Dewey.

"Oh, no," Dewey said shaking his head."I was just taking in the sight of just a lovely dojo," He said. 

"Well okay the name is Matthew by the way," He said as he introduced him."If you ever change your mind stop by anytime at my family's dojo," He said.

"Thanks and I'm Dewey," Dewey said with a nod as he walked off.

As Dewey was leaving, Ryudamon looked back to see Matthew getting off his skateboard. The green monkey in his arms smiled straight at Ryudamon waving, and Ryudamon looked in surprise to see another Digimon before he turned back around in Dewey's arms.

"It was another Digimon with a tamer did you see?" The green monkey asked looking up at Matthew.

"Yeah Monmon," Matthew replied with a nod."Seems there more tamers out there than we thought," He said as he watched Dewey walk off.

Dewey and Ryudamon arrived back home and walked on inside of the house.

"I'm home!" Dewey called out taking off his shoes.

"Excellent  dinner is almost ready!" Oscar called out from within the kitchen. 

"Alright I'm going to wash up," Dewey said heading towards the bathroom to wash up as Ryudamon rode on his back.

"Oh wonder what for dinner tonight?" Ryudamon questioned. 

"Don't know but off you go," Dewey replied taking Ryudamon off his back and placing him down near the wall as he went into the bathroom to wash his hands.

He then walked out to see Ryudamon was missing and nearly panicked thinking Ryudamon wandered off until he spotted his younger brother playing with Ryudamon on the couch.

"Noah how many times do I have to say don't grab my possession without permission, " Dewey said walking over and taking back Ryudamon.

"Sorry bug brother," Noah said sheepishly. 

"Ah, come on can't Noah play with your strange dragon toy?" Hannah asked." Also dinner ready!"

"Ryuda not just something to play with, but maybe next if he asks me first," Dewey said softly holding Ryudamon in his arms as he walked into the kitchen.

"I'm not some toy," Ryudamon muttered as Dewey glared at him as a message to shut it.

"You heard your brother ask first before touching his possessions," Oscar said placing a bowl of noodles in front of Noah. 

"Right, sorry, big brother, " Noah apologized.

"It's cool. Just remember to ask first," Dewey stated, sitting across from Noah as his mother brought him a bowl of noodles with a hint of extra seasoning.

"Thanks for the food," Dewey said with a bow of his head before eating his noodles with Ryudamon chilling on his lap, awaiting his share of dinner.

Later that evening, Dewey was lying on his bed in his room, gazing out the window deep in thought.

"Hey Ryudamon, what exactly is evolution?" Dewey asked.

"Well, what brought that on?" Ryudamon asked.

"Well, Terriermon digivolve but didn't immediately turn back to normal like in the video games," He replied. "So how does evolution truly work?" He questioned.

"I got to be honest even I don't fully understand the method of evolution myself never digivolve past rookie," Ryudamon replied.

"Yeah, anyway, it's late better to get sleep got school tomorrow," Dewey said with a yawn.

Dewey soon got under covers to go to sleep when he suddenly his phone with off and reached for it off his wooden board next to him and saw a message from Jameson.

Hey Dew it's me Jameson there is someone I would like you to meet tomorrow since I don't think you met her before. I'm sure you will like her.

Dewey smiled as he message back that it sounded like a plan, before putting his phone back on the wooden board.

"Good night Ryudamon," Dewey said softly as he drifted off to sleep wrapping his arms around Ryudamon and laying next to him.

Here we have the foruth chapter of the story Digimon Tamers: The Digi Knight. In this chapter, Dewey after saying bye to Takato and Henry.  On his way home he encounters a boy name Matthew who turned out to have a Digimon as well. Later that night after dinner he ask Ryudamon about evolution, but even Ryudamon doesn't fully understand evolution himself.  Next chapter the last two  tamers will be introduced and will jump into the next part if the story. This chapter was more a look at Dewey and his family. I hope you enjoyed the chapter.
