Janyu

It has been almost three days since I talked to Henry. True, I was indeed a horrible father who misinterpreted of how his children felt on the Accident. 

Our relationship was torned apart because of my misdeeds. Although, now it is up to me to fulfill  a promise. 

To connect the Digimon World and our world to be united as one. To keep such an impossible promise seems unsettling, but I knew that this was the right thing to do. 

I have to do this, for my children's sake, for them to be completely and truly happy to be themselves. 

I still can't hardly believe that they went to such a world, the Digital World, for that matter, and that ... they weren't helpless out of all of this fiasco.

Was being a Tamer really change them for the better?

"Hey, what you doing, Janyu?" A voice asked me, interrupted my train of thought. As would have it, it was Takehiro Matsuki, the father of Takato and Chris. 

Although, I can't believe he was a Digidestined leader long ago, and that he hid that he had an older son was uncanny.

"Oh, it's just you, Takehiro. I was just thinking about the kids. It's funny, they really matured." I said. 

"Oh, I know Takato too well, when he sets his mind on something, there is no possibility of stopping him .

Besides, it is their responsibility of trying to defeat this new threat themselves. All we can do for now is to have faith in our children to finish the mission in hand. 

I'm positive that Rika, Henry and the rest of the Tamers can come back safely this time." 

"I suppose... but I want to something in return. I want to make a dimensional portal." I told him, which made him be in total awe of my sudden request. 

"A dimensional portal you say? Janyu, that's not going to be an easy task . Wait, why you-" 

"Because I want to make up for my mistake! I was the cause of everything! I caused our children to be distant , they were trying to mask their true feelings that day after the Accident. 

When I saw Henry's face, the way that he was back then... He seems angry at me, for what I did, without telling them the horrible price to leave their partners behind, back to their world.

I want to mend that mistake, to show Henry and the other Tamers that I am truly sorry for everything. 

They risked their lives, they were just children, and we just let them grow up without our knowledge ." 

Takehiro looked directly at me, as that he touches my shoulder. "Then, what we waiting for? Let's surprise them with this dimensional portal." 

I'm lucky to have a supportive friend in Takehiro, I guess that Chris and Takato have a great father. 

Suzie

Rika and Henry was wrapping bandages on their partners' wounds. "I can't believe that we got a sudden attack like that." Rika said, being disappointed. 

"What you expect? We been away from this world for seven years. Things had changed. We're not like we used to be." Henry replied. 

But I felt bad for Chris. He just discovered that he had a long -lost little brother, only to be taken by the enemy.

"Are you feeling ok?" I asked . 

"No. I couldn't protect Takato , or Guilmon . Nero was the one who toying with us." Chris sighed. 

"It's not your fault, none of it is. Guilmon, tell him it's not his fault." 

"Not Chris's fault. You tried your best." 

Chris just felt hopeless, but then he looked at Wormmon. "They have a point, Chris. None of this truly is your fault here. 

The one who is at fault is Nero. He was the one who caused all of this from the very beginning. Besides, you wouldn't reunited with Takato if he and the other Tamers haven't given up and you're not going to give up either, right?"

Chris took a deep breath, as he slapped himself. "Ahh! What I am I doing?" He said. 

He looked at the other Tamers. "Well, I have to act like a leader . I may not be like my brother was when he led the Tamers, but I'll give it a try. It's better if we all work together, isn't?"

Rika said, "Now that is sound like a real leader speech, Chris. We're going to discover what Nero's true plan is..." 

"Save the Digital World-" Henry said, as I said, "Get Takato back, all in the day's work. It's going to be a piece of cake." 

"But um... what we do in the meantime? " Kenta asked. 

"Good question. I know, let's give an update to our parents. They have the right to know what's going on." Jeri said, thinking out loud.

Jeri has a good point. Our parents are our allies in this whole fiasco, and that it really quite a relief that they allowed us to head back into being a Digidestined in the first place. 

Chris looked at Jeri with pure curiosity, "How we going to be in contact with them again? We don't know if the communications link still works."

I reply, "It's fine, Chris. Have a little faith in us. Besides, we figured out ways to communicate to the other world seven years ago. We dealt much worse than that." 

Chris seems to be blushing, remembering that he wasn't there when the Accident occurred, or the fact that we had much more experience with using our knowledge of being in the Digital World firsthand. 

"R-Right... I totally forgotten about that. You guys had much more experience than I would, because that I was manipulated by Nero. Lucky me." He replied. 

"Man, he really has trust issues." I thought in my mind, as that Kenta grabbed out his phone out to make a connection to the real world. 

As we managed to make contact, it was Mrs. Matsuki who answered the call. 

"Oh, hi, Digidestined. This is quite a surprise. It's been only three days since we last spoke. Is something wrong?"

Suzie seems to be nervous to tell her about Takato being held by the enemy, but it was Chris who spoke up for her. 

"Mom... Please don't freak out about I'm going to say, but Nero... he has Takato, and we couldn't stop it from happening. 

We didn't suspect there would be an ambush, and I froze. I felt like I'm not good of being a big brother." 

Mrs. Matsuki smiled, as she said, "Honey... none of being a Tamer isn't going to be a easy task. It's a big responsibility to take, I know that you just reunited with a brother you barely know, but none of that ever stop him from doing what's right. 

You're not entirely alone this time, you have our support as well as your teammates. They will help you as long as you need. 

Oh, Henry, your father has a major surprise for you and the Tamers. " 

"What you mean by a surprise, Mrs. Matsuki?" Henry asked, being curious of her words. She bit her lips. 

"Well, I can't simply tell you. You have to find that out on your own. Now, don't you worry about what is happening in our world for now. 

Thanks for that update, and I'll inform the other parents about what you just told me." 

"You're absolutely the greatest, Mrs. Matsuki." I replied, as Chris nods at being comfort by his mother's trust and encouragement .

"Now, how about we do some exploring around the area? We could use a Trailmon to get to our next destination ." Rika suggested . 

Chris nods, "Good idea, it would be safer and quicker than being the same place." 

"We can find our old allies too, they would help us narrow our search for Nero's hideout in broad daylight, and we can rescue Takato." Kenta said, felt excited about our new plan.

"Then what we standing here for? Let's get going before Nero sends out more of those freaky Digimon after us." Chris said. 

I knew deep down, he just felt remorse about not being there for his brother. 

I thought to myself, "Takato, no matter how dim it gets, we're going to get you back, you're our leader of the Digimon Tamers. 

Be strong, for our sake."
