Janyu

I assembled the parents of the Digidestined to discuss about our children. It had been seven long years since the Digimon left the Real World, and our children had grown up since then. 

Although, our relationships with our children had dramatically changed, as that they had grown up without us helping them. 

"Mr. Janyu, it's been so long." A voice said, as I turned around to see Takato's parents, Takehiro and Yoshie. 

"Takehiro, you can just call me Janyu. We're all friends here, aren't we?" I said to them, as Rumiko Nonaka nods , "Of course we are! Our children are best friends so, we can be friendly too.  

Indeed it has been a long time since we been gathered in one place. Is something wrong?" 

"I bet it has to be with Jeri isn't? She hasn't return home yet, and I'm worried." Jeri's father, Tadashi Katou said. 

"Well, the truth is , I believe our children has been sent to the Digital World again, but with a new threat, right?" Takehiro said. 

I nodded, "Yeah, I am curious why. It seems impossible to open the portal between our worlds. It was certain that the two worlds couldn't be opened again." 

"Hm, maybe there is a big threat that only they can do." Tadashi suggested. 

"Maybe . Thus , I am worried about them. I thought that they are done with all this Digimon stuff. Why they can be just normal kids for once?" Yoshie demanded. 

I couldn't argue with that. Henry and Suzie has been though so much, and they should enjoy their youth as normal as possible . 

Mayumi said, smiling, "Our children have grown up . It has been hard on them since the Digimon were sent to the Digital World. I believe in our children would come back safely, and besides, we have to support them whenever they need it." 

I remain silent, as that of Henry still haven't forgiven me of what I've done to him and his friends. 

The parents left, but Mayumi looks at me with a reassuring smile, as my wife said, "Just have faith in them, Janyu. " 

I don't know if trust can be do anything , as to that I have been worried about our children's safety in the Digital World. 

Takato

It still hard to believe that I had an older brother. Although, he was manipulated by Nero, it still bugs me that the fact my parents didn't tell me. 

Guilmon was by my side, as I was lost in thought, as I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see it was Suzie. 

She looked at me and I gestured her to sit down, as she said, "So, how does it feel , to find out that you had a sibling?"

"Totally weird. Honestly, I didn't realize that Chris was not only a Digidestined, but also being my brother, it's a lot to take in." I replied to her. 

Suzie said, "Couldn't blame you for that. Although, I am kind of relieved for you. You can have someone to talk to, with being a DigiDestined. " 

"I guess. But why did Nero forced my brother to fight us in the first place, what's his game plan? We have to find out what it is and stop him." I said in a serious tone. 

Suzie was silent for a moment, but then all of a sudden, she started to laugh at me! 

"What's so funny?!?" I exclaimed, looking at the teen. 

Susie said, as she calmed down, "You really haven't changed for the past seven years. You still cared about the Digital World, and all the Digimon who lived in it. 

It's a great trait to have, Takato. " 

I was stunned by her actions. She seems so relaxed, with being back into the Digital World once again with a new threat lurking . 

"How can you be so calm about all of this? I thought that you -" I begin to ask, as she said, "C'mon, do you really have to ask?

Takato, we're in this together, wither you like it or not. We have compete trust in your decisions no matter what." 

Suzie walks away from me, as that wants to check on her brother and the other Tamers' condition. 

I took a deep breath, as to that maybe Suzie was right, that maybe I haven't fully changed since then. 

I saw Wormon and Chris. They were looking at the distance, as Chris was thinking about something, like he was clouded by Nero's wrongdoings. 

"Hey, bro." I greeted him as Chris jumped in surprise expression as I chuckled of his reaction. 

"How long you were standing there, Takato?"

"Oh, a while. You seemed so focused. What's wrong?" I asked my brother. 

"I am worried, about fighting Nero. He did so much disasters and cost most of the Digimon's lives at stake. 

And I ... I almost hurt Jeri in the process. " Chris said. 

"Jeri is tough girl, she can handle it. Chris, none of this is your fault. Nero is the one responsible for all of this. 

And also, without you, The Digimon Tamers wouldn't be here otherwise . For that, I'm grateful for that." I said. 

Chris was amazed by my speech. "Re-Really? You're really think so?"

"I know so. C'mon, you're not alone in this. You're part of the team, Chris." I said, offering a hand. 

It puts Chris at ease but also it does seems to worry him, I can see it in his eyes, and thus, I really don't want Nero to manipulate my brother again, I want to protect him. 

"Hey!" Jeri exclaimed of that Kazu and Kenta had successfully reunited with their partners, Guardromon and MarineAngemon.

Kazu jumped off his partner's back as that Chris was amazed of seeing their Digimon partners. 

"Whoa, so these guys are your own partners huh? " 

Kazu nods, "Yep, they sure are, they were shocked of seeing us being teenagers now. Although, MarineAngemon wanted us to contact the Real World with our parents, so they know that we're safe in the Digital World." 

I looked at the distance of the Digital World, "Yeah, but what about Henry, I mean, he's not really going to talk to his dad yet. He still has that grudge against him about sending all of our partners away seven years ago." 

Chris stands up, "Let me handle it, Takato. If I am going to be a full member of the Tamers, I have to at least try to get along with everyone right?"

I trust my older brother. "Ok, I leave Henry to you and I want you both here so we can contact our families." 

Chris nods, as Wormon follows his partner's lead. 

Henry

I still don't forgive Dad for what he has done to me and my sister. Forcing us to leave our partners without telling us was unforgivable.

"Uh!" I said, pounding my fist in anger, as that Terriermon comforts me. "It's going to be fine, Henry." 

As I was lost in thought, a hand tapped on my shoulder. I turned around to see it was Chris standing in front of me. 

"Are you feeling ok, Henry? You seemed upset." He asked me, as he sat down next to me. 

"It's just, I'm still not over what happened to us seven years ago. It still bugs me to this day." I replied as he listens to my reasoning for hating my father. 

"I get it. Takato told me all about how you guys were separated from each other. I know it's not that easy to forgive someone.

Takato seems to be at ease of being a Tamer, though. As his sibling, I'm proud of what type of person he grown up to be. 

If Nero didn't manipulate me, I would've been a Tamer a long time ago and battle alongside my brother.

What I trying to say is... Don't stay too focus on the past. It wouldn't get you anywhere." 

I was amazed at Chris. He had been tricked and been a tool for Nero's evil determination, he wanted to continue to fight on, even if things get intense.

He offered me his hand, as I grabbed it, "Ok, let's go." 

We went to meet the rest of our teammates where Suzie looked at me with a curious, yet concern expression as she asked, "Feeling better?"

"Yeah, I think." I replied as there was an image on the screen appearing in front of us was our parents. 

"Mom, Dad!" Takato said. 

"I'm relieved you're all ok, we were just discussing about you recently." Mr. Matsuki said. "Oh, I guess that is our specialty ." Suzie chuckled. 

Takato said, pouting, "You guys really had me fooled. I can't believe you didn't mention to me that I had an older brother being stuck in the Digital World! That's pretty uncool if you ask me." 

Mrs. Matsuki sweats nervously, "Sorry! We didn't want you to worry like that, Takato. We promise to not tell any secrets. So, what you going to do now?"

"Defeat Nero and possibly save both worlds from falling apart. You know, the usual stuff." Kenta replied.

"Be safe, all of you, and Chris?"

"Hm?" 

"We missed you dearly. Watch over your brother for us." Mr. Matsuki said, as Takato said, being embarrassed, "You guys, I'm not a little kid anymore, Geez!" 

We laughed of how embarrassed he was, as I noticed my father being silent. "Can I have a moment with my dad? " 

Chris notices this is my moment to get my emotions straighten out. "Sure, c'mon you guys. Let them have their moment." 

They left, as I stared at my dad . He was silent as I begin to say, "Dad, you really still made me mad of what you had done to Suzie and me." 

"I know, it was my foolish ambition to try to save our world by releasing your partners back to their world." 

"Yeah, you didn't even think about how we felt back then, didn't you? Still, you were just trying to save our world and didn't bother to ask any of us if that was the case. You have to do something for me. 

Try to reconnect the portal again from your side. I want our Digimon to live with us in our world and still visit the Digital World ." 

"Son, that sounds a big order. I don't know if -" 

"I know it sounds impossible, but I know we could do it. This way, you can remove all the guilt you had on that day. 

We can call it even, I suppose." I said to the scientist. 

Tears fell, as that memory of that day we say goodbye to our partners: 

"I know it hurts, but it will be better, you'll see." 

"Dad, are you actually crying right now?" I chuckled. He said, wiping a tear away, "Yeah, I guess I am.

I haven't gotten a decent talk with you since The Accident. I really am sorry about everything. I vow to make things right again with us." 

"You better. " I replied as my dad nods as we ended the call between our two worlds." 

"So, I guess you patch things up with your dad, I suppose. I'm glad." A voice said, which I jumped in surprise.

It was Chris. "You were listening?!?" 

"Every word. " He concurred, "C'mon, we have the Digital World to save!" 

I smiled, maybe Chris does have a point, and maybe this was the closure I needed all along.
