Chris

Going back into D-Reaper's main headquarters is kind of weird . Although, I knew that Takato needed me. 

It has to be me, mostly because all of this ... it was my fault to lure Guilmon , my brother's partner to be in this position. 

Takato didn't heasiant to save him and the Digital World . His dream to reconnect both worlds together peacefully, but I guess that there was a distrust between them, and considering that it was Henry's father who made that distrust seven years ago. 

"Is something bothering you, Chris?" Guilmon asked, as I looked at the little red Digimon. It still makes my head spin of how that he was created by my little brother. 

"Sorry, Guilmon. I was just thinking about Takato, and how he really wants to come back home with you. " 

"Oh." That is all he can reply. As we continue walking through , Wormon sensed something. "I sensed something." 

"Really, what could it be?" I asked my partner in a curious state, made me curious . 

Guilmon also smelled the air as to being a dino Digimon. "It smells so familiar... like..." 

The little red digimon continues following the scent as we followed his lead. When we did, we were shocked of what we had seen. 

Digimon. They were working hard on a contraption of some kind, but what?

"What are the digimon doing here in D-Reaper's hideout?" Wormmon asked, as the bug digimon was confused of their work. 

I replied, "I.. I don't know. I'm confused as you are. These Digimon doesn't deserve this type of treatment. 

But our main focus is on Takato. He must be around here somewhere. " 

I took out my Digivice as I try to locate my brother. 

Henry

We waited for Chris to give us some news. Rika seems to be nervous about Takato as I touched her shoulder. 

"Is everything all right?" I asked her. We knew how we act when we were kids and she really acts like nothing is wrong. 

Rika scoffed, "Nothing's wrong! I am completely fine! " But I already seen her camouflage. 

"Rika, c'mon, we known each other for seven years! You can talk to me about anything, we're friends and we trust each other don't we?"

She sighs as that if she knew that she couldn't hide he true intentions as much we didn't want to admit it ourselves. 

She sighs, "Sorry . I didn't mean to be rude . I'm just being selfish, I just can't shake something bad was going to happen." 

"Nothing bad wouldn't happen, Rika. We're the Digidestined, we're destined to end D-Reaper's evil plot to destroy the digital world and Chris and Takato would come back to us eventually. 

Together, we'll figure out something, no matter what lies ahead." 

"Well, I never thought the day would arrive of you go giving wisdom in a midst of crisis. You've changed." A voice said, as both of us jumped of who was listening into our conversation. 

It was Jeri. "Jeri! How long you've been there?" Rika asked nervously. 

"I was here the whole time. Rika does have a point. All of us have changed since then. Henry, do you have any clue of what's happening back home?

Did your dad call back to us from the real world?"

I shook my head. "No. I haven't contacted our parents yet. They must've been busy or some kind. 

I think it's best to not let them know what's happening right now. I don't want them to know about Takato being captured by D-Reaper. That would make them even more worried." 

Both of them sighs as it was the right decision overall. 

"At least all we could do is wait. We just hope that Chris has a better chance of rescuing Takato." Jeri said. 

Chris

I followed the digivice as that I was concerned about it. According to the mapping, the energy of my brother's digivice is giving a strong signal, like some sort of beacon.

"Anything?" my partner asked me, as I looked at the mapping once more to confirm my suspicions. 

"I guess. The mapping here says we're close, but I had some indication that D-Reaper has some major uproar intent of his security. 

It's not like it's easy since I been mind-controlled the entire time, I basically was his minion after all." I explained. 

"It couldn't be helped. D-Reaper forced you to wipe out your Digidestined team which include your father. 

You're not the only victim in all of this mess." Wormmon said, trying to cheer me up. Just I was about to reply back, the red Dino digimon sniffed the air for one last time. 

"I think.. I .. smelled Takato! He's this way!" Guilmon cried. Following his scent, he led us down to an underground dungeon that I never seen before. 

"Whoa. I never seen this part of the main quarters before . " I whistled in amazement. But I knew this is not the time to be impressed of the building itself. 

"This way , hurry!" The digimon exclaimed, as then as we reached a cell, I hear a familiar , but horase whisper, "C-Chis.. is that you?"

"Takato!" I exclaimed, as I kicked through the door with all my might, and when I did, we saw him. 

Bruised, locked up in chains, and he looked so horrible. Was this really what D-Reaper had done to him?

"Takato, thank god!" I said, as that I unchained him and helped me up. "We have to get out of here..." 

"Save your breath. You're in no shape to talk yet. Guilmon, blast any wall to make an escape route now." I said as I held my brother up . 

I never wanted to see my brother being like this, i feel responsible for it. As we walked Guilmon looked at his partner with worry. 

"Takato, would you be all right?" He asked. He nods, as he pets the digimon with ease. 

At last we found a safe spot to hide ourselves to not be seen by any enemies . 

I tore off pieces of my clothes as I place all the bruises on his arms . "Uh!" 

"Sorry, does it hurt? I'll be gentle. " I replied. 

"Chris, you shouldn't be so worried about me so much." He said, I looked him with a puzzling look. 

"Why wouldn't i worry? I am your older brother, aren't i? Besides, I was the one who started this whole fiasco and i intend to finish it no matter what. 

Even if i get hurt, and i would protect my family no matter what lies ahead." 

As we continue bonding, a familiar laughter boomed through the hallways. I stood up with my brother being worried . 

"Chris, what's wrong?" He asked. 

As then, he appeared. The Digimon who had started my path, the digimon I despise the most. 

"D-Reaper." I said, looking at the wolf-hybrid.
