Rika

I walked to see Takato. It was a while since we been together. It seems like things was turning back to as it should be. 

Although, I don't see my friends that often due to I take dojo lessons with my mother to keep my life busy and thinking less about the Digital World and my partner. 

Takato was walking to his family's bakershop as I yelled out, "Takato! " 

The teen looks at me for a slight moment, as the teen smiles, "Oh, hi, Rika! What brings you here? Do you need some bread?" 

"No, but thanks for offering, I was wondering if we can hang out today, if you're not too busy." I asked the teen, as he nods, "Ok, I just have to inform my parents first." 

He called his parents through his cellphone, and as he dialed off the phone, he turns around as he said, "My parents are cool with us hanging out, they thought we were on a date or something." 

"Ew! Why the heck they think we're on a date!?! We're just friends, not a loving couple!" I said, getting grossed out of the thought of us being a couple. 

"I kind of knew you were going to react this way. Gee, you haven't changed for the last seven years." Takato said, sweating at me. 

We decided to walk to the abandoned park , which is where we used to hang out all the time. 

Takato seems to be silent for a moment, "Can I tell you something, even if you think I'm going crazy?"

I said, "Takato, come on, we've been friends since we been to the Digital World and you think that after all we been through, you honestly think I would call you crazy?"

He took a deep breath, as he said, "I think we have to go back to the Digital World. I feel like-" 

But before he finish what he was going to say, a familiar light shine in front of us , as that it was Takato's digivice!

He picked it up to see it was no other than ... 

"G-Gulimon?!?" We exclaimed in shock to see the dinosaur digimon. 

He looked badly hurt , as if someone been hurting him badly as he was almost bleeding to death. 

"Gulimon, speak to me!" Takato said, worried about his partner, but the image on his digivice disappeared. 

We exchanged looks at one other, as to of determing of what to do. 

Henry

I still couldn't believe of what Dad did for making the Digimon disappear. It seems unfair , and I wouldn't go and forgive him for it. 

Suzie came in , as to see me. "Big brother! How you been?" 

"Suzie. Wow, I hadn't see you lately. " I said, as she chuckled, "I know. But you know, I miss Lopmon. We are connected. It's just I know Father thought he was right to send all the Digimon away, but it doesn't mean that you have to hate him." 

I couldn't think of it. Should I forgive him for that? As I was lost in thought, a ring came into my cell as I put it on speaker for both of us to hear. 

"Henry! Thank God you answered!" Rika said, which made us confused of why she called. 

"Rika, what's up?" Suzie asked, as she was curious of her tone. 

"Oh, I didn't know your sister was with you. Listen, something unbelievable has happened. It's um, it's Guilmon. " 

"What?!?" We exclaimed in shock, as that we didn't suspect that we hear that name again. 

"Takato is worried about him , as you know that's his partner. I think we should head into the Digital World ourselves." 

Suzie asks, "Why now? Why only you guys get to go? But what our families?" 

There was silence, as to knowing of their families' reaction. 

But Takato said, "We have to! Guilmon is in serious trouble, I can't let him be alone again." 

All this time, the burden still has an effect in Takato, even though he didn't want to admit it. 

I couldn't help it myself as I said, "When we leave?" It shocked Suzie and the others of my sudden announcement. 

Suzie said, "You can't be serious of going back to the Digital World, aren't you?" 

That was when our father , Janyu Wong, came bursting into my bedroom door, as he was overhearing our conversation. 

Suzie said, "I'm going to leave you both alone. " 

In that moment, I never wanted to speak to him ever again. 

Janyu

During seventeen years, I never wanted my children to be unhappy, not even once. When the Digimon went back to the Digital World, I thought it was best for them, but the outcome I thought was right, became my utter sense of reality. 

Henry doesn't even talk to me , as if the decision I've made really effect him, and he treats me not as a father, but as a stranger in his own household. 

Our relationship was broken, as that the trust we should've had was gone , and he keeps close contact with Suzie and his friends, Rika and Takato . 

He said, "You really are something else." 

"Henry, you honestly think you going back to the Digital World with your friends? It's not a good idea-" 

"Oh, really? How you would feel if your friend is pure danger? Oh right, you thought about is to yourself, like you have done to me and Suzie seventeen years ago! 

Having a Digimon partner is special to us, a friend to us , and we discovered a part of ourselves we never seen before. 

We can handle taking care of ourselves, we're not afraid! We dealt with evil Digimon before, and we're not running away, no matter what the stands against us! " 

The anger in his voice was so scary and was very serious about going back to the Digital World, as to knowing that he really wanted to prove to me that I was absolutely wrong of my decision seven years ago. 

He didn't bother talking to me any moment as he went pass me as to I heard him utter, "If you try to prevent me to go because of how stubborn I am, then.. you really don't know me at all." 

I fell to my knees, as being shaken up from the intensity , as Suzie walked up to me as she said, "Henry is still mad of you of what you had done, but I know that he'll come around and forgive you soon enough." 

I turned to my daughter with very curious expression of how calm she was of her brother's actions for seventeen years since the separation of their Digimon partners. 

"How could you forgive me? I was the one that drove the Digimon back to their own world, and you were so young back then. " I asked her, as Suzie looks at the photograph of her and Henry when they were younger. 

"Well.. I'm not entirely mad at you for what you had done. It took me by surprise and I didn't fully understand of your actions back then. 

So, you should have faith in Henry that he'll forgive you , it just take time , it's all it is to it. " 

I was amazed of her, how she can put a positive attitude like it doesn't even phase her at all, like she just knew that my relationship with Henry will come back to normal sooner than later. 

"I hope that you're right about that. All I want is that we can bond as father and son, and maybe I can learn why this is important to him, to his friends that the Digimon can reside between worlds."

Takato

After we send the call to Henry, I paced back and forth , in total panic mode for Guilmon's sake. Rika said, "Calm down, Takato. We'll go to the Digital World soon. I think it's best of we tell our families the situation first. " 

I turned to her with amazement of how she wants to help , as to of not knowing of what dangers it may lead to, considering of we never set afoot onto the Digital World after seventeen years. 

I walked back to the baker shop, where my parents, Takehiro and Yoshie were just finished closing the store for the day. 

"Honey, you came very late." Mom said, as Dad notices my expression that something was very wrong. 

"Takato, what's the matter?" Dad asks me as I looked directly at my parents , wondering how they would react to the news about Guilmon. 

"Mom, Dad, there is something you might need to know. I know that you might reject or refuse me to go, but my friends and I , we are heading back to the Digital World. Something's wrong ." 

My mother said, "I thought that you and your friends are done with all this Digimon nonsense , we were just acting like a normal family for once! " 

Dad was touching Mom's shoulder to comfort her, like it was deja vu , when I first introduce them to Guilmon for the first time before setting off to the Digital World for the first time. 

"Let's listen to what he has to say, honey. I'm sure that Takato has a pretty strong reason of wanting to go back to the Digital World. " 

I nod, "I do have a reason. It's Guilmon. Somehow , he contacted me through my digivice, and he's injured badly. 

I can't just abandon him when he needs me the most. " 

"But you can't do that, young man. I forbid it!" Mom said, but Dad went upstairs which leaves me confused, but when he got down, in his hands were familiar goggles that I haven't seen in a long time. 

"I think you should have these back. It'll be your good luck charm to finding your partner." He said, as my eyes beamed with pure joy of that Dad let me go to another adventure after seventeen years of being alone. 

"Dad, I ... " I begin to say to him, but he rubs my head, as he chuckles, "I had a hunch feeling that you would be doing this someday, so I hid your goggles and waited for this to come. 

When you leave?"

"We decided to talk to our families first , then decide things from there. I hope Rika and Henry got their parents' approval to go back. " I replied, hoping for the best. 

"You just have to be patient , I am positive that they'll understand." Dad reassures me . 

"I hope so. " I replied.
