Robert was just an ordinary boy. He was twelve years old and he lived in West Woods Florida. He lived there for all of his life, so he knew all of his neighbors, and he knew most of the kids at his school ever since preschool.
Robert was currently at home. His mother was at the stove, the sound of eggs were heard sizzling from where at stood at the kitchen sink. His mother was in her late thirties. She had bright blonde hair, and intelligent brown eyes. She wore a full skirt leaf printed dress. His mother was quiet as she stirred the eggs in the pan allowing them to cook just a little bit longer.
Robert was busy washing the dishes from the following night. He had came home late from baseball practice, and his father who was one of the coaches for the team. Told him to get some sleep, and leave the dishes for the morning.
His father sat at the living room table. He was reading the morning's newspaper that was brought boy the paper delivery boy around at the same time. Six in the morning. My father turned the page and frowned. "Looks like gas prices are going up again." He grumbled. Robert's father was two years younger than his mother. He had his brown hair in a buzz cut, his beard was cleanly shaven and his eyes were focused on the newspaper in front of him. He grabbed his coffee mug to the right of him without removing his eyes from the morning's paper and took a sip.
His father wore a four piece vested suit. He was getting ready to go to work for today. He worked in a office for selling cars. His dad didn't sell cars, his job only required for him to help get advertisements out to get people to buy cars for his company. His father was one of the managers at the office and he was really strict.
Robert looked over at the newspaper that his father was holding. The date on the page read "January 28th, 1978" in small black print. Robert grinned slightly. Today was a day that him and his friends were all looking forward too. They would be going to Orlando Florida for three days. To go to Disney World, to celebrate Mickey's mouse 5oth birthday.
Robert had it all planned so that they could hit all the rides that Disney World had to offer, so they could avoid long lines. Or getting on rides with people they disliked from school. It was going to perfectly.
His father looked up from the paper, and his eyes narrowed. "Finish the dishes." He said angrily. "Or you can forget about going on the field trip." he warned.
Robert gulped. He truly didn't want to be one of the few kids that weren't able to go on the field trip. This was a way for him to be able to escape from his family for a few days. To be able to hang out with his friends and do something cool, other than school.
Robert went back to washing the dishes and his father returned to reading his newspaper.
From the living room laughter started to be heard. His sister Stacy, who was fourteen years old was bursting out loud from what was on the television. Robert frowned, Stacy never had to do any of the chores he had to do around the house. He always had to be the one washing the dishes, cleaning the clothes, vacuuming the floors, cleaning the bathrooms, cutting the yard. That was all the jobs he had to do. His sister didn't have to lift a finger, plus if she did anything wrong. She was allowed to get away with it...while if he did something wrong, it was an entirely different story.
Robert put the last dish on the other side of the sink and sighed. He walked over to the kitchen table and sat to the opposite side of his father. His mother had just finished making breakfast and she was starting to place the food on the table.
"Stacy, breakfast" Their father called.
Stacy walked out from the living room. Her brown hair was short and curly, her eyes were a light hazel, and a huge grin was on her face. Today she wore a long sleeved white shirt, a skirt with a flower print design on it, white long soaks, and she wore black dress shoes. She sat at the table and looked between their mother and father.
"I was just watching I Love Lucy, she had gotten a job as staring in a medicine commercial. And she was having problems saying her lines. And every time she redid her lines she started to get loopy from all the medicine she had to take." She laughed.
Her mother smiled softly. "I remember that episode. I used to watch I Love Lucy, when I was your age."
My father grabbed his fork and knife. "Well this food isn't going to eat itself." He exclaimed.
They all grabbed their own plates and started to pile food on their plates. After breakfast, his mother pointed to Robert and said. "You need to brush your teeth, comb your hair, and check if you have all that you are going to bring with you on your field trip." She instructed.
Robert nodded and quickly ran off to the bathroom. Staring back at him in the mirror was his own reflection. His blonde hair was cut short, his eyes were the same bright hazel as his father's and he had a huge grin on his face. He wore a blue vest with white sleeves, he also wore tan placid pants and black shoes. On his forehead was blue goggles he liked to wear for good luck.
People like to tease him for wearing goggles. They say it made him look like a dork, or a loser. But he would get into a fight with anyone if they made fun of him or any of his friends. And he was no loser either. He was known for winning any fight he got into at school, so people tended not to pick on him.
He grabbed his toothbrush and started to brush his teeth, after that was done he grabbed his comb and quickly brushed his short blonde hair to get the craziness to set down. When all was done, he put his toothbrush, toothpaste, and comb in a small bag. And quickly raced to his room where he had left his small bag at the end of the bed. HIs bag was filled with clothes he would wear for the next three days, sun screen, and his pajamas. He added in his small bag, and put his backpack on his back.
He had to hurry if he wanted to make the bus to school on time. He raced out of his room to see that his father and sister was gone. He looked over at his mother who was busy getting started with drying the dishes.
"Where did dad, and Stacy go?" He asked.
"Your father decided to drop Stacy off at school, on his way to work."
Robert frowned, his father tended to do this kind of thing to him. He never asked if he ever needed a ride somewhere. But his sister on the other hand, if she needed a ride, he would take her anywhere. It was unfair that his father treated them differently.
"I love you mom"
The two of them hugged. "Have a good time" She said sweetly.
Robert nodded and walked over to the front door. Just as he walked out the door, he saw his bus starting to drive off. "Great..." He mumbled.
Even if he told his mother that he missed the bus, she wouldn't drive him to school. It has happened before a few times. She always gave him two choices. "Either he could ride his bike to school, or he could take his little camper butt and walk to school."
Robert knew that he wouldn't make it to school on time. If he walked all the way there, so he quickly raced to the garage and opened the side door. He grabbed his blue bike and hopped on. He rode his back out of the garage and closed the door behind him.
"Disney! Here I come" He grinned.
Disney was a world of imagination, anything could happen. Hell him and his friends could go on some sort of a magical adventure. He would be better off anyway. His parents wouldn't even noticed that he was gone.
Robert quickly pedaled through his neighborhood. Hearing shots from a few people he knew. Like Mrs. Evermore, she was a chemistry teacher at the high school. One of her sons were on the baseball team with him. But they weren't really friends for that matter. Plus if he recalled her other son Brian was in the hospital. He was playing in the streets one day when his older brother was supposed to be watching him. Their was a hit and run, and Brian was in a coma at the hospital, in critical condition. So he knew her oldest would be staying home, instead of going to Disney.
Robert rode his bike out of the neighborhood and continue to pedal down a road next to a large field of wheat.
Once he rode into town, which took him about fifteen minutes. He heard a familiar shot. "Good morning, Robert!"
Robert turned his head to see one of his best friends. He was also twelve years old. He had short spiky brown hair and pure green eyes. The boy wore his baseball uniform. He wore a white t-shirt, on the center of the shirt was a logo of a tiger barring his fangs. Plus he wore long white slacks, and beaten up black sneakers.
"Your wearing that to Disney world?" Robert asked with a raised eyebrow.
HIs friend shrugged. "Girls dig a guy in a uniform. Definitely if they play in sports."
Robert rolled his eyes. "Whatever floats your boat, Dannel"
Dannel grinned. "Just you wait and see, when we go to Disney world. Their are going to be girls who can't keep their hands off of me." He boasted.
Robert shrugged. "You may be right, when their strangling you to death."
"Not funny"
The two friends rode off towards the school.
When they were about a mile away from the school. Dannel looked over at his friend Robert and asked. "So let me guess. Your father took your sister to school, but left you home. And you missed the bus?" he asked with a knowing smirk.
Robert groaned. "You got it right on the dot. I don't understand why my family treats me like that. You would think that my parents would treat, my sister and I the same. But that isn't the case."
Dannel shook his head. "I don't know dude"
Dannel looked ahead of them and grinned brightly. "Well look there, it's the devil." He teased a black haired kid who was walking in front of them.
The black haired boy narrowed his eyes. "Shut up Dannel." The boy growled.
"Oh come on, Paten. You know I was only teasing."
Paten was in the fifth grade. He was eleven years old. His short black hair was cut short and well kept. His eyes were a bright blue and he had small dimples on his cheeks. The boy had his eyes narrowed and his arms crossed over his chest. He wore a yellow t-shirt and tan jeans. Paten was nicknamed the Devil, due to him always ruining Dannel's jokes, and pranks.
Paten sighed. "No time to argue. If we want to make it to school on time. We better get a move on." He instructed.
Paten turned on his heels to face away from us.
Dannel turned his head to look at Robert. "A fifth grader trying to bully us around. We are sixth graders after all." He pointed out.
Robert narrowed his eyes. "Just shut up, Dannel." He warned.
Dannel frowned.
The three friends finally made it to the school. Dannel and Robert chained up their bikes in the bike rack.
"You three better get a move on." A girl shouted at them.
Robert suddenly recognized her. She was in the seventh grade, and was thirteen years old. She was the president of their school. This was Bradford Elementary and Middle school." The two schools were put together. The elementary side of the school was on the left side of the building, while the middle school side was on the right side of the school.
The girl had long brown hair, she wore a pink hairband, and her bright hazel eyes stared between the three of them. The girl wore a pink dress with a black belt wrapped around her stomach. The girl wore black dancing shoes. Her name was Ella.
"If you three are going to the field trip to Disney World, you better head off to the gym." She informed them.
Robert nodded. "Thanks, come along guys."
Dannel and Paten followed after Robert heading off to the gym.
Ella watched them head off to the gym. She shook her head. "Why do people have to be late. It was a simple request of getting here on time of the school bell." She mumbles. "Some kids don't understand having a schedule."
Ella looked up to see a ten year old girl getting out of a car in front of the school.
The girl looked to be south Korean. She had a black pony tail, that was held up by a large red ribbon. She had icy blue eyes, and bright tan skin. She wore a yellow shirt, and blue overals. She had a small pink backpack in her right hand. The girl looked back into the car to talk to the driver. "See you in three days mom." The girl whispered sadly.
"Don't worry sweetheart, its only for three days. And try to have fun, your going to Disney world after all. I wished I could go with you, but I have work."
The girl nodded and closed the door to the car. The little girl watched her mother drive off and frowned. "Just for three days..." She reminded herself out loud. She took a deep breath and turned towards the school.
Ella walked over to the ten year old girl and smiled softly. "I guess your the straggler today." She teased with a soft smile.
The ten year old didn't laugh. She blankly stared up at the thirteen year old girl. Ella sweat dropped. "Why don't we head to the gym now." She suggested. "I have to give out a speech before we all head on our way to Disney."
Ella shyly nodded.
The two girls walked side by side. Even though the ten year old was trying to walk slower, so she could walk by herself. But Ella would keep up pace with her.
Ella put a finger to her chin. "So let me guess your in the fourth grade?" she asked.
The ten year old nodded slowly. "Yes"
"What's your name?"
"Nora" She said blankly.
Ella blinked. This girl was someone who only spoke a few words. "Well Nora, my name is Ella. How about we hang out at Disney, once we get there."
Nora shrugged. "I guess..." She trailed off.
Ella smiles. "Then it's settled."
Nora sighed and put her hands in her pockets. Why can't people just get the hint...and leave me alone?
(Gym)
The gymnasium was packed with students of different grade levels. All of them were sitting in the bleachers. While the teachers who were going to be chaperons for the field trip stood on the stage in front of the students.
People talking, and shouting echoed throughout the whole gym.
One twelve year old girl was busily writing in a journal she held tightly in her hands. The girl had ice blue eyes, and her sandy blonde hair was put in a tight pony tail. She wore a white t-shirt, a blue skirt with designs of small lilies imprinted at the bottom of her skirt. Her name was Anastasia.
She frowned as she looked up from her writing. She leaned over to a girl sitting next to her. The girl she leaned next to was a black haired girl who was busy talking to her friends.
"So I told her, if she wanted to hang out with me. She should lose the attitude." She burst out laughing with her friends.
Anastasia poked the black haired girl. Causing her to quickly turn her head to look directly at the blonde hair girl.
"What?!" The black hair girl snapped angrily.
"You see, I'm currently working on a book. And I just-"
The black hair girl smirked. "As if, I had any time to worry about what you are writing. I have more important things to worry about." She said rudely.
Anastasia smiled. "Thank you" The blonde began to write down in her journal quickly. A smile plastered on her lips.
The black haired girl looked at her puzzled. "What do you mean?"
Anastasia smiled as she looked up from her journal. "You see, I needed a perfect idea for a character who was smug and completely full of herself. And you fit perfectly."
The girl narrowed her eyes as she got up from where she sat. "Come on, let's leave this girl to her fantasies" She growled.
The blonde hair girl waved after them. "Thank you for all the help!" She yelled after them.
The black haired girl and her friends ignored her. And Anastasia could only smile to herself.
"You know, one of these days. They are going to hit you." A boy pointed out.
Anastasia once again looked up from her journal to see a familiar face. A black haired boy who was eleven years old stood next to her. He had his hands in his pockets and a friendly smile. He had piercing brown eyes, and his skin was dark tan from being out in the sun all the time. He wore a dark black t-shirt, and tan shorts.
He pointed to the right of the blonde and asked. "Is this seat taken?"
The blonde held her hand out as if to say. Go ahead.
The boy sat next to her.
"So Nick" She started off. "You ready to go to Disney world?" she asked excitedly. "I totally love the idea. A place where dreams come true!" The blonde squealed loudly. "If only if Walt Disney himself is still alive. I could probably ask him so many questions."
Nick smiled. "Well did you know that Walt Disney brain is currently frozen underneath the park." He informed her. "They froze his brain in hopes, that one day that someone can transfer his brain into someone else."
The blonde raised an eyebrow. "Another conspiracy theory?" she asked with a teasing tone.
"Hey, you know all of our presidents are lizard people, right?" he asked with a teasing smile.
The blonde sighed as she placed a hand on her forehead. "Where do you get these random conspiracy theories anyways?" she asked as she shook her head.
Nick grinned. "You know my grandmother?"
Anastasia nodded. "Are you kidding me?" she rubbed her temples on the side of her head as she closed her eyes. "I still can't forget the time I came over after Christmas, and your grandmother was trying to mail her cat back to her house...all the way to San Diego, California."
Nick nodded. "Yep, she's the one. Well the last time I went over to see her, during the summer. I saw a magazine, called the Conspiracy troopers. They are a group of people who look at widely known conspiracy theories and they try to prove their existence." He said with a smile. "I actually put in a prescription. I found their work pretty cool. Next week they are going to work on the theory of the Titanic not sinking. There are people who believe they switched the ships before the departure of the Titanic. They traded it with a ship that was supposed to never sail again. All they wanted was the insurance money."
The blonde groaned. "Great...I will have to listen to more of these theories."
Nick only smiled. "You know, you love my theories."
"I would rather listen to popular girls go on a shopping spree."
"You don't mean that."
Anastasia giggled. "Your right, I would probably die after two minutes of hearing them giggle over this seasons new shoes." This caused the two of them to laugh.
A nine year old boy chuckled along with them. It would have seem that he had overheard the two of them.
The blonde hair girl turned her head to look at him. She didn't even recognize him. She hadn't seem him at the school before.
The boy had light brown hair that was cut short and comb nicely, his blue eyes were bright and seem to blaze. The boy wore a purple t-shirt, and green shorts.
"Hello, my name is Maximus. I'm new at your guys school." He held out his hand to Anastasia and Nick.
The blonde hair girl shook the nine year old boy's hand. "It's really nice to meet you."
She shook his head.
"Likewise" Maximus now shook Nick's hand.
"My nickname is Max, by the way."
"So are you a foreign exchange student?" Nick asked.
Max nodded. "Yes, I came here from the Netherlands. My parents thought it would be a cool idea, if I did some of my schooling abroad. I'm glad that I could also go on this field trip as well though. I had just recently got to America two weeks ago." He exclaimed.
"So who is your caretaker?" Anastasia asked.
Max was about to open his mouth to answer her. But a ten year old girl look back to face the three of them. "That would be my family." She said angrily. The girl had short spiky blonde hair and hazel eyes. The girl wore black rimmed glasses that were pushed to the edge of her nose. She wore a gray t-shirt that was ripped at the edges of the sleeves and the collar. She also wore ripped jeans. She quickly got to her feet and walked away.
Max frowned as the blonde hair girl looked away from them. "Sorry about her."
Anastasia stared after the ten year old girl. "What was her problem?" she asked.
Nick shrugged. "I have no idea..."
Max frowns. "Jennifer is a nice person when you get to know her. She is just a part of a big family. I think when I came to stay with them. She got angry that her parents attention went to me."
Anastasia shook her head. "But that doesn't give her the right to treat you like that." She mummbles.
Nick smiles. "Hey Max, how about you hang out with us when we get to Disney?" He asked trying to shift the topic away from the spiky hair blonde girl.
Max didn't look too sure. "Well as long as Jen can tag along."
Anastasia and Nick exchange looks. They both now looked unsure. "Fine." The blonde finally agreed.
Max threw his fists into the air. "This is going to be so much fun. I love going to amusement parks. And isn't this Mickey's 50th birthday celebration?" He asked excitedly.
Nick nodded. "It is. You definitely look excited."
Max smiled. "Just don't be surprised when I get on the rides though. I tend to scream like a little girl." He chuckled.
Anastasia and Nick laughed along with him.
Ella stood at the back of the stage, behind a large curtain. The girl was looking through her flashcards. Okay Ella take a deep breath. This is going to be a peice of pie. Your already the president of your school. You already did a speech to get elected...how hard is it to give a speech on staying safe and having fun?
Ella looked up when a teacher poke her head through the curtain.
"We're ready for you" Mrs. Wong called to her with a comforting smile.
Ella took a deep breath and slowly smiled. Just stay calm...no one will laugh at you.
Ella makes her way to the opening to the curtain and walks out. She made her way to the podium where the mic was waiting for her.
She turned her head to the crowd of students. Who began to grow quiet when they noticed her walk on stage.
She was well known around the school. A few appricated her hard work as being school president. She did everything she promised she would do. She helped make school lunches longer, and even allowed a extra five minutes for recess. All it took was just an extra five minutes at the end of school.
Ella smiles at her fellow student body. She was about to wave but her foot kicked something and she began to fall towards the stage floor. She flail her arms back and forth and caught herself.
A few people began to laugh at her clumsiness. Ella laughed uneasily with them. I just made a total full of myself...
She finally reached the podium and move the mic close to her. "Good night" She announced. She face palm at her own remark and a few people began to laugh again.
Dannel smirked as he elbowed Robert in his ribs. "Looks like madam president is having stage problems."
Robert shrugged. "It appears to be. But we have to remember, she did well when she was giving her speech on what she was going to do when she became president. I thought she did fantastic. That's why I voted for her."
Paten nodded to agree with him.
The three friends were sitting near the aditorum.
Watching as Ella was scrambling to keep ahold of her flashcards, so they wouldn't scramble all over the floor.
Dannel look at Robert with a smirk. "She's good?" He asked teasingly.
Robert nodded. "Yeah."
"Well if I remember correctly, when she was in the first grade, and you were in Kindergarten. You two were playing on the playground together. You guys would always play tag together. Do you have feelings for our president, Robert?"
Robert punched his friend in the shoulder. Dannel cursed and rubbed his arm.
"Dude, I was only teasing. Plus anyways Ella is a cute chick."
Paten raised an eyebrow. "So are you saying you have feelings for her Dannel?" He asked
Dannel scoffed. "As if, Ella is the type of girl who worries too much."
Ella took a deep breath and smiled. "Excuse me." She started off. "Good morning, everyone."
A few students acknowledged her by replying in the low voice. "Good morning"
"So today is the day!" She said cheerfully. "We are going down to Disney world, to celebrate Mickey's mouse 50th birthday! I just have a few things to go over with you. Remember you are to form groups with your friends. If you are in need of a chaperone, you can go to the information desk in the front of the park and they will try to get a hold of one of the chaperones here. But remember, if you don't have someone in your group who is ten years or older. You should have a chaperone before you enter the park. Their are going to be other schools, families there at the park the three days we attend. So please remember to be respectful, and to follow the same rules you would, if you were at school. And most importantly have fun!"
A few students in the crowd cheered and clapped for Ella. The brown hair girl waved and walked away from the podium.
The principal walked up to the podium. "Attention students. The busses for the feild trip has arrivied. Their is six busses in total. So when a teacher points to your section in the bleachers. You can head off to your bus"
A few teachers began to walk over to the bleachers.
"In an orderly fashion" The principal added.
A few students, including Dannel whined. "Awe..."
"Everyone in bleachers A, you may go to the bus" a red hair teacher called out. "And please follow me to the bus." She instructed.
The students in bleachers A got to their feet and followed the red haired woman to the bus. Ella quickly got down from the stage, and followed after the group of bleacher A.
After what seem to feel like an hour. All the students where on the busses. The busses left the school and was on it's three hour drive to Disney world.
(Bus A)
Ella was in the middle of the bus. The brown haired girl sat next to her best friend. Alexis, the girl had bright mocha hair and always had a friendly smile.
"Where you nervous today?" Alexis asked, as she brought up the speech Ella had made in the aditorum.
Ella sighed with embarrassment, as a few students behind her started to giggle. I made a total full of myself more like it...
The brown hair girl look at her friend. "I have no idea...I was preparing for this speech for two weeks. I don't know why I broke down like that." She mummbled.
Alexis shrugged. "Maybe you were just excited for the feild trip ahead. And all your mind was on, was leaving the school for the next three days." She suggested.
Ella frowned as she thought back to what her mind was on. She imagined that her friend Alexis was right. Her mind was on the feild trip. She was waiting for this day, ever since school started this year.
Alexis patted the brown hair girl on her shoulder. "Well it doesn't matter. You will do better next time." She reassured her. "Anyways, if you are so kind. Could you wake me up when we get there. I was starting on some homework for next week, and I was working on it all last night." The girl yawned. "I didn't really get any sleep."
Ella nodded. "I'll wake you up."
Alexis smiled. "Thank you"
Her friend closed her eyes and rested her head against the seat she was on.
Ella reached into her backpack and pulled out her notebook. She flipped the book open and stared at the flowers and plants she pressed into her book. She liked to collect all kinds of plants she found when she went on a feild trip, or on a family vacation. It helped her remember the events of the trip.
She stared at a white daffodil and smiled. That flower was when her parents and her had decided to go to Virginia one summer. It had been a great trip, the sun was always shinning, and no rain whatsoever.
I really hope, I can collect some more flowers for my book...
(Bus B)
On the front of the bus. Nora was sitting by herself. The girl was holding a book in her hands as she curled up in the seat she sat in.
She didn't mind being alone. She felt being alone helped her to think. She didn't have to worry about having any friends. Nor did she have to worry about losing any.
All the friends she could ever ask for was in books. She was currently reading a book called Treasure Island. A nice tale about a young boy named Jim Hawkins who found a key to a fortune, but pirates stood in his way of getting the treasure. Each sentence gripped her to the book. All she wanted was to see how Jim was going to have his happily ever after.
Nora had to admit, she loved happy endings. When ever a story ended with a sad ending. She felt as if, a part of her had been torn away. And she tended to want to forget about reading the story, and never read it again.
Just as she turned the page, a girl who was sitting in the seat behind her. Moved up a seat to sit next to her.
"Good book?" She asked with a smile.
Nora jumped a little in surprise.
The girl chuckled a little. "Sorry"
Nora nodded shyly. "Yes...it's...Treasure Island."
"I love that book!" The blonde girl said cheerfully. "My grandfather used to read me that book everytime I visited him." The girl held out her hand. "My name's Anastasia."
"Nora" the two girls shook hands.
"Why are you sitting alone?" The blonde asked.
Nora shrugged. "I don't have anyone to sit next too."
Anastasia frowned. "No friends, or siblings?"
Nora shook her head.
"Well, I'll sit next to you. And if you want you can hang out with my friends and I. You shouldn't be alone once we get to Disney world."
Nora's eyes grew wide. "Why would you want to hang out with me?" She asked puzzled.
"Because it wouldn't be right, if I left you all alone. Everyone needs a friend."
Nora smiles. "Thank you."
Anastasia beamed. "Okay, so I have all of the next three days with my friends planned out. First we hit the haunted mansion. Because if we don't, man does the line drag on..."
Nora put down her book and smiled as she listen to her new friend. She just felt happy someone gave her a chance to be a friend to her.
Nick chuckled as he stared at his best friend.
"What?" Max asked. The nine year old was sitting to the right of Nick.
"Anastasia, she always goes out of her way to make new friends. She doesn't like people being left out."
Max smiles. "She sounds like a mom."
Nick laughed along with him. "You can say that again."
Jennifer who sat bedside max scoffed. The spiky blonde hair girl crossed her arms over her chest. "Sounds more like someone getting into everyone's business if you ask me."
Nick rolled his eyes. "Are you sure that you want to come along with us?" He asked the Tom boy.
Jennifer scoffed. "As if I would do that. You guys would slow me down. Going by myself would allow me to go on all of the rides."
Max frowned. "But we could all go as friends." He suggested.
Jennifer looked out the window and frowned. "I don't need...or want friends."
Max looked puzzled. "But Jen-"
The spiky hair blonde send him a glare. "Leave me alone, you brat!" She spat. She turned her head away from him and stared back out the window. Out on the open road. Why won't people leave me alone...I just...just don't want it to happen again...to care...
Nick was about to say something to her, but Max shook his head to stop him. A teacher carefully walked over to where the three of them sat and raised an eyebrow.
The red haired woman crossed her chubby arms over her chest. "Is there a problem here?" She asked.
Nick shook his head and gave his best apologetic look. "No problem at all. We are just having a friendly depute on what ride we want to go on first. And it kinda went out of hand. You see I want to go on...It's a small world, while Jennifer wanted to go on Space mountain first." He exclaimed.
The teacher nodded. "Please try to keep your voices down." She instructed as she made her way back to her seat.
Max sighed in relief. "That was a close one...that could've ended badly."
"Your telling me." He grumbled.
(Bus E)
Robert, Dannel and Paten sat at the back of the bus. The three friends were playing the Vw game.
Dannel quickly pointed out a Vw and shouted. "White one! That is my third point. Looks like I'm winning." He boasted to his friends.
Paten shook his head. "If anything I am winning. I got the Vw blue beetle a few minutes ago. And beetles are worth two points. Plus I had the red Vw, and the green one ealier."
Dannel grinned. "Suuuure, you did."
Paten narrowed his eyes. "I have four points. So I'm winning."
"You know cheaters never win, pal."
Robert smirked. "Well you both are wrong. I have been calling them one by one ever since we left the school. I have ten points."
Dannel and Paten groaned. "Fine, you win..." They grumble.
Robert raised an eyebrow. "You guys aren't even going to try to catch up?" He asked puzzled.
Dannel and Paten shook their heads.
"Whenever you get ahead of us, you always win. Their is no chance either of us will catch up." Dannel explained.
"How about, I allow you guys to be on a team. You guys verses me?" He suggested.
Dannel and Paten grinned and held out his hand. "Truce?" Dannel asked.
"Truce" the two friends shook hands.
The three kids looked out the window waiting to see more Vws.
Two hours drifted by and the five buses had drive through the Disney World entrance sign. "Welcome to Disney world" was written on the sign in yellow cursive.
Mickey's Mouse was shown on the sign. He held out his hand as if gesturing drivers to come on in.
Kids on the five buses cheered. Their long travel was finally over.
Once in the parking lot. Groups had started to form, and they all entered the park.
Robert and his friends decided to hit the Haunted mansion first. The three friends sat in a black coffin car. As it took them down a haunted looking hallway. Scary music filled the long halls, and the doors along the hallway, was opening and banging shut.
Dannel looked over at Paten. His friend had his eyes closed as he shivered.
"Paten, are you afraid of ghosts?" he asked with amusement in his voice.
Paten shook his head. Even though his eyes were closed, and he was still shivering. "N....ooo."
Suddenly their was a loud woman's scream, and Paten screamed along with the in anamtroic.
Robert and Dannel laughed at their friend.
Paten only continue to shiver more. As he gripped onto the bar in front of him tighter. Why did I agree to go on this stupid ride...?
(Elsewhere)
Nora chuckled as she watched Maximus grinning from ear to ear. The boy was enjoying some cotton candy as he wore a Micky mouse hat.
The ten year old girl put her arms behind her back and she lean her head towards him. "You can defiently tell who are the tourist." She teased the nine year old.
Maximus smiled at her. "Hey don't tease me. My mom doesn't let me eat too much candy." He whines.
Nick was busy talking to a man working at a balloon stand. He was trying to get balloons for all of them.
While Anastasia was trying to get Jennifer to join in the fun. "Come on Jennifer. Stop being such a grump." She said cheerfully.
Jennifer raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me?" She asked rudely.
"I'm just saying, you should lighten up. Try having fun. You are in the most magical place on Earth."
The spiky hair blonde rolled her eyes. "If it's so magical, I presume all of us will go on some grand adventure huh?" She asked nonchalant.
Anastasia shrugged. "Anything can happen as long as you believe." She poked the spiky hair blonde on the nose.
Jennifer narrowed her eyes at her. "Don't do that again." She spoke coldly.
Nick came back with five balloons. "Here I got balloons for all of us." He handed it out and Jennifer rolled her eyes as she was given a pink one. "Seriously? Pink?" she asked with a sound of disgust in her voice.
Nick shrugged. "I thought you were a pink type of girl." He teased.
Jennifer let go of the pink balloon and it floated away into the air. "Oops" She said as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"That wasn't nice." Nora whispered.
Max frowned. "You know Jennifer, we're only trying to be friends with you." He explained.
The spiky blonde hair girl looked away from the four. "I don't need...or want any friends..."
(It's a small world)
Ella sat next to her friend Alexis. The two girls were smiling as they both sat up front in the boat on the ride.
The puppets around them on diffrent stages, set up to look like diffrent places around the world.
"It's a small world after all, it's a small world after all~"
Alexis looked down at her wrist where her watch that her father bought her stared up at her. "Huh, it looks like the park is going to be closing in a hour. We should try to go on one more ride." She suggested.
Ella nodded to agree with her. "How about we go on Space mountain?"
Alexis nodded. "Sounds like a great ride to end the day."
(Space mountain)
With a swoosh of the doors Robert and his friends walked into the attraction of Space Mountain.
"Last ride of the day, and then we will watch the fireworks." Dannel exclaimed.
Paten frowned. "I've never been on this ride. How is it?" he asked his friends.
"Well, it is pitch black, but the roller coaster itself isn't that bad." Robert informed his friend.
Dannel put an arm around Paten's neck. "Don't worry, their isn't going to be any spooky ghost that will grab you. I promise." He teased.
Paten brushed Dannel's arm off of him. "Quit it" He warned. The three friends got to the back of the line. They noticed a few kids from their school, and the other people were families, or even teachers they recognized from their classes.
"You know it isn't fair that teachers get to skip the line." A blonde girl said getting behind Robert and his friends.
He recognized the blonde to be Anastasia , she was from his history class. They never really talked to one another. So they weren't really friends. Standing next to her was her friend Nick.
Nick shrugged. "You know teachers, they always take away fun from us kids." He pointed out. He grinned all of a sudden. "But that is their plan after all. That is why us kids become adults. They suck all our fun and joy away from us. So that one day we become adults."
A nine year old boy behind them scratch the side of his face. "I guess that is one of Nick's many conspiracy theories?" he asked.
A ten year old girl next to him nodded. "Quite bad isn't it?" she asked him.
The two kids nodded to agree with one another.
Nick frowned. "Oh come on, it was a good theory. That is why they made schools in the first place. To trap us, so we have no choice to grow up and be like them."
Robert's eyes landed on a spiky hair blonde girl standing next to the young boy and girl. The girl had a annoyed look on her face. Her arms crossed across her chest. "Hey, how about we play a game." She suggested.
Anastasia blinked. She must have been surprised that Jennifer, wanted to contribute in the conversation. "What game?" she asked.
"The quiet game, I'm tried of hearing you all talk." She grumbled.
"Your no fun." Max whined.
"I don't want to be..."
As the kids waited in the line Robert and his friends stared at the set up computers they set up next to the lines. The computer screen had numbers and data that was on displayed on the screen.
Robert look at one of the computer screens and smiled. Their was a part of him that wanted to join Nasa, when he graduated college, either that or become security for the president of the Untied States.
As his friends Dannel and Paten bickered on a what the best horror movie of all time.
The blonde hair boy stared at a computer. He narrowed his eyes as the numbers and date on the computer screen started to form a word. Then his narrowed eyes, grew wide in shock. As his own name was spelled out in blue letters. His own name blazed in the blue color until it seem to shatter and rebuild as orange letters to write out "Dannel"
One by one the letters would change shape and color.
Paten was spelt out in yellow letters
Ella was written in light green letters
Nora was typed out in dark red letters
Anastasia blazed on the screen in light blue letters
Nick's name appeared slowly in dark purple letters.
Maximus name typed out on the screen in dark gray letters.
And then finally Jennifer's name was brought up on the screen in pink letters.
Robert pointed towards the computer as the names continue to flash on the screen. Switching back and forth between the nine names. Only flashing faster, this only creep Robert out, he knew this wasn't part of the tour of the attraction. How could anyone at this park set something up like that...he knew his school wouldn't ask for it. Plus how could they set up an attraction to act like this, when all of them got here at the same time?
"Guys look at that." He pointed out.
Dannel and Paten looked towards the computer screen. But as their eyes landed on the screen. The computer screen went dark black.
"What's wrong?" Dannel asked.
Robert open his mouth as he stared at the computer screen. It was so strange, all of their names were flashing on the screen, but he was the only person to notice. And then when his friends checked it out. The computer turned off. This isn't right. I have been on this attraction lods of times with my family. I know this isn't part of the ride...
Paten raised an eyebrow. "Is something wrong?" He asked.
Robert shook his head. "Just forget it, I just thought I saw someone from school." He lied.
Once the group of kids got to the roller coaster car. All of them waitied patiently for the gate doors in front of them to open. Once the gates open. All eight of them rushed to get into their seats.
Robert quickly sat by himself in the front row. He lowered his lap bar and grinned brightly. He looked back at his friends Dannel and Paten who were both sitting in the row behind him.
"You guys ready for this?' He asked excitedly.
Dannel and Paten gave him a thumbs up.
"This is one of the best roller coasters at the park." Dannel boasted. "What could go wrong?"
Paten grimaced. He was kind of superstitious. He didn't like when people would say sayings which involved things going wrong. "Don't say that."
Dannel rolled his eyes. "Dude, don't worry. Disney is one of the safest place on Earth. They always check the rides everyday. Nothing will go wrong."
Sitting behind Dannel and Paten in the third row was NIck and Max. The two boys were pulling down their lap bar.
Max's eyes were scanning the track ahead of them. "I really hope their are no loops on this ride. I hate going upside down." He whined.
"I really like loops, I find them to be really fun and exciting."
Max shook his head. "Not for me"
In the last row. Anastasia sat on the far right seat. She had Nora sit in the middle seat, the young girl had started to hyperventilate. She had wanted to get off the ride, but the blonde wasn't going to let her miss this opportunity, so she is trying to calm her down.
"Please, I just want to get off." Nora cried. "If this coaster is in the dark...I'm going to cry." She sobbed. "I'm really afraid of the dark." Tears streamed down the ten year old's face.
Anastasia placed a comforting hand on the girl's shoulder. "Don't worry." She whispered. "I promise nothing will go wrong. Don't let your fear stop you from having fun. You may think this is scary now. And want to run off this thing, but just think what you will miss. I will be right here, in case you get scared." She comforted her.
Nora took a deep breathe and wiped away her tears. "Okay..." She whispered.
Jennifer groaned as she sat on the far left side. The spiky blonde hair girl had her arms crossed over her chest. "Why do I have to sit next to the crybaby?" she asked.
Anastasia shot the spiky hair tom boy a death glare. Jennifer rolled her eyes.
The eight kids waited patiently for the person to click the button to start the ride, But a ride attendant pointed at a girl in front of the line. "Hey miss, can you please sit in the front row?" he asked nicely. "You see, we're trying to get the rest of the line through, before we shut down the attraction completely." He explained.
The girl standing in line was the president of the school. Ella frowned as she stared at the ride attendant. "But...I was really hoping...I could sit up front with my friend Alexis." She mumbled.
Alexis patted her friend on the shoulder. "Come on, just go." She smiled. "I will see you, in the gift shop."
Ella sighed and walked over to the front row of the rocket car.
Once she had her lap bar down. The ride attendant checked all the lap bars and gave the person behind the control panel a thumbs up.
The ride attendant nodded and pressed the start button. The ride lurched forward and all of the kids cheered. The rocket car followed down the track until it went into pitch darkness. The car slowly started to pick up speed until light started to flash around them.
The rocket car made a quick left turn and the car started to climb up a track up hill into pitch darkness. All of the kids either cheer or scream in fear from the darkness.
Dannel even grabbed Paten's quickly.
"Watch out! A ghost!" He yelled.
Paten screamed. But once he realized he was tricked. The boy punched his friend in the shoulder.
The man on the control panel frowned. "Ah...dude." he called out to the ride attendant over.
The ride attendant quickly walked over as he was loading on the next group of people in the next rocket car.
The man's eyes grew wide as he noticed the control panel control panel started to go haywire. Sparks started to fly form the control panel.
"I hope those kids are okay." The ride attendant whispered. He quickly turned back to the people who were loading on the next rocket car. "We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. The ride is closed for the rest of the night. We are sorry to announce this."
The people around them whine in annoyance. Most of them wanted to go on this ride. And it seem that they waited for nothing.
Alexis frowned. "I hope everything is going okay..."
The kids on the car rocket was speeding through the dark track. All of them shouting either for joy or for fear.
Suddenly Robert eyes stared down at the track. Bright red sparks flew from the wheels of the car. "Ah...Ella."
The thirteen year old girl stared at him. "What?" Her eyes grew wide as she saw the red sparks.
Suddenly all the kids saw the sparks that flew around of them. All of them began to panic. As the car rocketed down a long hill. Each of them holding down on the lap bar in front of them. With dear life.
Suddenly instead of the car making a sharp left turn. The rocket car flew off the track. Causing all the kids to scream in terror. The red sparks around them merge together. Making a large digital feild in front of them. The rocket car went through this feild and everything turn black.
"What is going on?" Dannel shouted in the midst of darkness.
Ella grabbed Robert's hand in the darkness. "Did we crash?" She asked in a panic. "Are we dead?"
Robert could hear all of the others kid panic.
"Please tell me this is just part of the ride." Paten whispered to himself.
"I'm scared Nick." Max informed the black haired boy.
"Don't worry Max, nothing bad will happen to us." He comforted him.
"I...I...I...want to go home." Nora was heard sobbing.
"Nora, everything is alright. The ride just broke down. Nothing is going to happen." She reassured her.
"Did you guys see that?" Jennifer asked all of a sudden. "How does sparks seem to form together...and almost seem to make a portal. This reminds me of the cartoon show Dungeons and dragon's." She murmors.
"That dumb game?" Dannel asked over his shoulder.
The girl narrowed her eyes. "I don't play the game...I just watch the TV show. It is way better than the game any day."
Nora gasped as she saw a digital nine flew by her shoulder. "Was that a nine?" She asked puzzled.
"What?" Ella asked as she squeezed Robert's hand in fear.
The blonde hair boy was blushing feariously as the girl was holding his hand.
"Look over there." Paten pointed out.
The group of kids gasped when they see digital numbers flying towards the digital car.
"This is almost like we're in a computer." Nick pointed out.
Anastasia shook her head. "Maybe this is just a part of the attraction."
The numbers started to blind their view of the darkness around them.
"I can't see anything anymore." Paten whispered.
"Neither can I." Robert frowned.
Sounds of birds singing was heard really close by.
"I'm I going crazy, or do I hear bird?" Jennifer asked aloud.
"I think your just going crazy." Dannel said with a grin.
"Watch it kid-" Jennifer started to growl.
"Wait...I hear them too." Nora whispered between sobs.
The numbers their surrondings, slowly started to disappear. Once their view was presented to them all. They realized they were no longer surrounded in darkness. Above them was a bright blue sky. Fluffy white clouds slowly flew past them.
"Wow" Robert said in amazement.
Ella gasped. "Did we get launch out of the attraction?" She asked in fear.
Suddenly the rocket car started to tilt downwards.
"Guys...I think we're in for a ride." Dannel shouted.
The rocket car started to plummet towards the ground. All of the kids began to scream at the top of their lungs.
The ground below them started to grow closer and closer.
"We are going to die!" Jennifer screamed.
"I don't want to die." Nora sobbed.
The ride tilted towards the right, and the rocket car slammed into a river on top of a mountain.
The g force caused all the kids to be pulled up. Thankfully their lab bars kept them in their seats.
"Is everyone alright!" Anastasia called out to everyone in the rocket car.
Everyone nodded.
"I can't believe we survived that." Nick whispered.
Max shook his head. "Nor do I...I thought we were all done for."
"Looks like we're on a water ride now." Dannel teased.
Robert smiled as the rocket car gently floated down the stream.
Ella looked around at the mountain side. "This is strange..." She whispered to herself.
Robert look at the thirteen year old girl. "What?" he asked.
"Their is no big wilderness like this near Disney world...I don't even think we're even in Florida anymore."
The rocket car started to speed up down the river.
"What makes you say that?" Robert asked.
Nora pointed above them. "Guys...why does the sky have static?"
The kids all gasped as they saw static running across the blue sky. Even blue digital numbers raced alongside the fluffy white clouds.
"Are we seriously in a computer?" Nick asked puzzled.
Ella looked away from the sky, and her eyes grew wide. "Guys..."
"In it's own way...it's kind of pretty." Anastasia whispered.
Jennifer shrugged. "Whatever floats your boat."
"Guys!" Ella shouted louder. But the others still didn’t pay her any attention.
"You know...it's still a wonder how we survived that fall." Paten mummbled to himself.
"Maybe the computer gave us all five lives." Dannel suggested.
"This isn't a video game." Nick pointed out.
"Guys!" Ella screamed louder.
"Wait is it-" Jennifer yelled...but she cut her own self off. When she noticed what Ella was seeing.
All the others looked away from the sky.
"Waterfall!" Anastasia yelled.
"We need to get off this car!" Robert informed the others.
They all started to wrestle with the lap bars. Trying to get free.
"We're getting closer." Paten yelled in panic.
Robert noticed a small button underneath the dash of the car. It reads "press only in emergency." Robert felt this was a good time as any to press it.
The blonde hair boy pressed the button. And all of the kids lap bars pop up.
"Well at least we solve that mystery. How about we try to get off this ride." Dannel asked hopefully.
Ella quickly looked around the boat. And pointed towards a vine that was hanging close to the shore. "There!" Ella reached out for the vine. "Guys wait here!" She dived out of the car and swam towards the vine.
"Like we have a choice" Jennifer shouted after her.
Ella grabbed the vine and pulled herself to shore. She rip the vine out of the vine and quickly followed after the roller coaster car.
She tossed the vine to the back of the car. Jennifer caught the vine.
"Tie yourself to the end!" She explained.
The spiky hair blonde did as she was instructed and jumped into the water.
Ella grunted and started to pull Jennifer towards the shore. But the rushing water was fighting against her.
Within seconds the thirteen year old girl helped the ten year old to the shore. "Go get a vine!" She instructed.
The spiky blonde nodded and rushed off to grab another vine. While Ella raced off after the rocket car. It was probably a good ten feet away from the water fall.
Ella threw the vine at the back. "Catch!" She screamed. Anastasia grabbed the vine. "We should start going two at a time. The blonde wrapped the vine around Nora.
"Let's go!"
"But-" Nora asked in a terrified whisper.
"Don't worry. I will be there with you."
The blonde grabbed the ten year old and jumped into the rushing water.
"Be careful Anastasia!" Nick yelled.
Ella started to pull on the vine. Pulling Anastasia and Ella to safety.
Jennifer had ran past her and threw the vine. It had missed the rocket car, and she had to pull it in before she had to race after the car again.
"Let's try that again."
"Stop throwing like a girl!" Dannel shouted.
"Do you want me to save you?" She asked angrily.
Paten punched Dannel in the shoulder. "Shut up!"
Jennifer threw the vine and this time Nick caught the vine. Nick quickly wrapped the vine around Max.
"Come on"
Max nodded.
Nick wrapped one arm around Nick and the two of them jumped into the rushing water.
Jennifer cried out. The ten year old was struggling to pull the two boys towards the shore. And she was losing her grip.
Thankfully Ella had helped Anastasia and Nora to the shore.
"Go help her!" She instructed Anastasia.
The blonde hair girl nodded and rushed to help the ten year old girl to pull Nick and Max to shore.
"Don't worry Nick." Anastasia cried.
Anastasia grabbed the other part of the vine and started to help Jennifer to pull the two boys to the shore.
Nora watched in fear as the rocket car was only five feet away from falling over the edge of the water fall. "We have to hurry!" She shouted to the others.
Ella had already rushed into action. She was swinging the vine over her head and she threw it as hard as she could. The vine sail over the fourth and third row. Until Paten grabbed the vine. "Okay let's go!"
Paten wrapped the vine around himself. He held out his hand to Dannel.
"Dude, I will just wait for the next vine."
Paten narrowed his eyes. "We could die right now. And your worried about holding onto me."
Dannel shrugged. "You said it not me."
Paten rolled his eyes and he quickly grabbed Dannel and dived into the water.
Ella started to pull the two of them towards the shore.
Robert was staring at the water fall. As he only drawled closer to the edge. All his friends had gotten to safety while he was still stuck on the rocket car. I just had to sit up front...
Anastasia and Jennifer were currently both helping Nick and Max out of the water.
"Robert is about to go over!" Max shouted.
Ella looked up from pulling Dannel and Paten to shore, over to the rocket car. The brown hair girl gasped in surprise when she saw the rocket car was only a meters away from going over the falls.
"It's to late." She whispered weakly.
"Robert!" Dannel and Paten shouted for their friend.
Robert shouted as the rocket car fell over the edge.
The others watched in complete terror as they had just watch Robert fell over the edge.
Nora had quickly hugged Anastasia. The girl was crying lowly. "We couldn't save him." She sobbed.
Ella had just pulled Dannel and Paten to the shore. And Dannel looked angry.
He looked at the others with his eyes narrowed and his face blood red. "Why didn't any of you do anything?" He asked angrily.
Nick stepped back in surprise. The boy who only seem to goof off. Had a very angry side. "Dannel their wasn't anything any of us could do. It was too late."
Paten nodded. "Their right Dannel. Ella was helping us to shore. While Anastasia and Jennifer was helping Nick and Max."
Dannel eyes locked on Nora. "Why didn't you do anything?" He spat.
Nora's eyes grew wide at the venom in his voice. She started to sob louder. Anastasia held the nine year old girl close to her.
"Don't you dare excuse her of anything! She wouldn't have been able to safe him. She is nine years old. She wouldn't have been able to run after that car, nor wouldn’t she have been able to pull him to shore."
Dannel was about to yell again, until he heard Nora sobbing uncontrollably. "I'm sorry...it's all my fault he's dead."
Dannel's angry expression vanished. "Nora...I didn't mean to blame-"
Everyone looked behind back at the falls. When they heard a male voice. "Let me go!"
"That sounded like Robert" Paten exclaimed.
Suddenly a figure seem to fly over the falls. It landed close to the group of kids.
Standing before them was what appeared to be a humanoid bird. It's feathers were a oily black, it's beak was a dark yellow and curved. The bird wore a skeletal necklace around his neck. The bird wore a green long sleeve shirt with a leather hood attached, while he was currently wearing over his head. A brown vest covered a part of his green shirt. Black gloves, a golden belt that was wrapped around the middle of his chest with a pouch attached. Including he wore black slacks, and leather black boots. His wings spread across his back. And everyone gasped when they noticed the bird was holding Robert in his arms.
Robert quickly got out of the bird's arms.
"Dude your alive!" Dannel shouted for joy.
Robert didn't really pay Dannel any attention to his friend. His eyes looked towards the bird who had just saved him. "Who are you?" He asked the bird.
The bird gave a short bow, as if he was a Butler. "I am Erebosmon, I am the minor legend of hunters. I was currently on the hunt for a wild animal. Until I saw you going over the falls." He pointed to the boy with goggles.
"Minor legend?" Anastasia asked puzzled.
The Raven nodded. "Yes, I am one of the legends loyal servants. I serve Kratomon and his queen Gnoweemon."
"King and Queen? Are we in England?" Dannel asked puzzled.
Paten face palm. "But of course, they have animals that can talk in Europe."
Erebosmon looked puzzled. "You don't know where you all are. You are in the digital world."
The nine kids eyes grew wide. "The digital world?" Ella asked.
The Raven nodded. "You should follow me. My king and queen will be able to offer you safety from the dangers of this world. Follow me." He instructed.
The nine kids exchange unsure looks. Until they one by one started to follow the Raven down the mountain.
End of chapter 1
So this is digimon surge. I really like this version from the original.
Sorry, I decided to add a little more to this chapter. I had more ideas than I had from last night. (Last time I add anymore to this chapter, I promise XD)
So a few notes.
The I Love Lucy episode that Stacy was talking about is right here
My inspiration from this chapter. Did come from the old TV Dungeons and dragons. My mom showed me the cartoon when I was probably twelve years old. I still have the Dvd and I like the idea.
Of course I added my own ideas into the old show. I didn't like how the Roller coaster seem to disappear all of a sudden. So I thought, how about they plummet to their deaths, and almost went over a waterfall?
Another few notes. I have done a lot of research for this series.
For one Disney did have its 50th anniversary in 1978. Their was a technical difficulty that Space Mountain experience the same day. But it didn't cause the car to be derailed. (But it's just part of this story)
I tried to make all of the characters in this series to have more of their own personalities. In the original their personalities were so close together. Hopefully I feel like I change that.
I even made some changes to their clothing they wear. To match the 1970's. So all in all. I really like the way that this has started this series.
So anyways I hope you all like the story so far. More is to come soon.
