The loud roar of Death X Doruguremon almost made the ears of everyone in the city bleed. The large undead dragon that could tower over commercial planes flapped its wings generating gusts of wind that blew cars over. Sunny and Luna along with their partners were pushed against the building behind them.

Luna: It can fly!?

Sunny: Stop being confused about everything!!! We've gotta take it out!!

(STOMP)

It perched on top of the building across from them. Shaking its head side to side, almost as if it was confused and fighting against something.

That didn't matter right now, the four weren't being pinned.

Luna: Time to know what that thing is....

Coronamon: What? Got a Professor in your pocket?

Pointing her D-Modder at the Digimon whilst the nearby civilians ran and screamed in a mass panic, Luna pulled the trigger. A light blue beam fired, hitting Death X Doruguremon and reflecting straight back into the D-Modder. A holographic screen popped up revealing data on the Digimon.

Luna: Good, it works here too.

Sunny: Whoa! What was that!?

Luna: You seriously didn't know about this? Whatever... It's not like it's going to be useful right now...

Luna: Named "Death X Doruguremon" and it's ultimate level is the only thing the D-Modder knows about this thing...

Sunny: That's all we need to know... Ready?!

Coronamon: Heck yeah!

Sunny: Luna, Lunamon?

Luna:... (Sigh)

Luna: We don't have a choice. People could die. Lunamon!

Lunamon: I shall feast on its flesh for supper!!!

Pulling out their Digicores, Death X Doruguremon takes notice of the four. Inserting them into their D-Modders the duo flick them back and forth.

"Warp.Exe Loaded"²

Coronamon and Lunamon charge towards their opponent as their partners raise their modders to the sky.

Sunny: "Program Launch"!!!

Pulling their triggers, a circuit board pattern covers their bodies for a split second before a blast is fired which shatters and strikes the two Rookie Digimon.

"Coronamon Warp Digivolve to...."

"Flaremon!!"

"Lunamon War Digivolve to..."

"Crescemon!!"

Leaping onto the building, the two struck Death X Doruguremon. Screeching in rage, Doruguremon flaps its wings and takes flight so it could thrust its tail at the two.

*CLANG*

The moonlight rabbit blocked the attack with her shield.

Crescemon: Try letter opening, you might have some luck there!

Using the bladed part of her Nova Luna, Crescemon hooks onto Death X Doruguremon's legs and tugs it down for Flaremon to reach its head. Hanging off it, he pulls it down to knee it.

Flaremon: One emergency face reconstruction coming right up!

*BAM*

Letting go, the two Ultimates watch as Death X Doruguremon floats away in a daze.

Sunny: Way to go!

Luna: Keep it up!

Doruguremon's eyes flash red as it eyes Luna and Sunny. With a flap it shoots itself towards them.

Cresce/Flaremon: No you don't!!

As Flaremon caught its tail to stop it, Crescemon leaped ahead and grabbed the two, transporting them to the roof of the Digital Observation Team building. Death X Doruguremon, wanting those children, flapped its wings again, dragging Flaremon with it.

Flaremon: WHOAAAAAA!?!

*Clang*

Combining her shield and sickle, Crescemon formed the Nova Luna crossbow.

Crescemon: "Ice Archery"!!

*THUNK* *THUNK* *THUNK*

Shooting arrows of ice, she froze the wings solid, preventing Doruguremon from continuing flying towards the teens.

DX Doruguremon: RAAAH!

*SHATTER*

It quickly shattered the ice and continued to fly. It would have made it if it weren't for Flaremon running up its back dragging its tail. Hopping off Doruguremon and onto the roof, Flaremon pulled on the tail hard, flipping Doruguremon before throwing it over his shoulder and further into the sky.

Flaremon: "Crimson Beast King Wave"!!!

Crescemon: "Dark Archery"!!!

A flaming lion and an arrow with bunny ears made of darkness soared through the sky and struck the Digital enemy. A large explosion went off, hiding the Digimon in smoke.

But once the smoke blew away, a roaring Doruguremon was left floating in the sky.

Flaremon: What gives!? I thought this thing was supposed to be Ultimate level! Our attacks are nothing to it!

Crescemon: Lu-Lu! Are you sure you read the bio right?

Luna: Of course I read it correctly!

DX Doruguremon: Hgh! Hghu! Agh!

Everyone:?

Sunny: Is it gagging?

Luna: Ew... It's like a cat coughing up a fur ball...!

A large lump appeared in its neck. Rolling up its throat, a metal sphere appeared out of its mouth.

Crescemon: Get behind me!

It spat out the sphere at high speed. Crescemon was pushed back by the attack as she tried to block it with her shield. Flaremon caught her and aided in pushing it back.

Flaremon: Grrrr!

Crescemon: Push! Push!

???: Cyberdramon!!

*WHAM*

The metal sphere was kicked back by a third party, back at Doruguremon who swatted it away where it tragically landed somewhere in the city.

*RUMBLE*

Sunny/Luna:!!!?

Misato grabbed the kids by their clothes and tossed them towards the exit.

Misato: Get out if here!

She turned to her partner.

Misato: Cyberdramon!

Doruguremon seeing in Cyberdramon what he saw in the children, swooped down to attack him.

Misato pulled the accel trigger. Cyberdramon exploded with power and knocked away Doruguremon.

Tackling Death X Doruguremon, Cyberdramon pushes him higher into the sky, above the clouds where he begins fighting him one on one.

Sunny somberly passed Flaremon to the edge of the roof where he looked towards the spot where Doruguremon's attack landed. The people's screams could be heard from here. Luna looked away, Sunny clenched his fists.

Flaremon: Sunny...? What's wrong?

Sunny: In this world.... When someone... Ends... They don't come back as an egg. They end and that's that.

Flaremon and Crescemon stare at the destruction, now understanding the weight of what transpired.

Luna: Just like that... They're gone...

Misato: Kids! You got to get inside, it isn't safe here!

Luna: You think we can just sit back after that!?!

Sunny: This must end, now!!!

Flaremon: Grrrrr! This...this...!

Getting up, Flaremon stares up at Death X Doruguremon.

Flaremon: THIS IS UNNNNACCEPTAAAABLEEEE!!

Sunny: DORUGUREMOOOOON!!

A fiery aura surrounds Sunny and Flaremon. As she felt heat infront of her, she looked back to find a deep frost behind her from Luna and Crecemon.

Luna: I have no mercy in my heart for such a wild beast...

Crescemon: Say the word...and I'll pass on your wrath.

Sunny/Luna: Hmph!

They flick their Digicores to the left.

"Shift.Exe Loaded..."

Sunny: "PROGRAM LAUNCH"!!

Pulling their triggers, a circuit board pattern covered their bodies in a fraction of a second, but being in the real world, the pattern could not travel through the ground to gather information, so it had to take a different path. Taking the necessary data from within their minds, the D-Modders take the knowledge and experience from the black water and Lunatic Leomon and Rabiesmon.

Combining all the information, they fired a bullet that shattered and struck their partners.

Flaremon shifted into a leaner beast man wearing black armor from what looked like another Digimon, its wild main flowed out like a cape.

Crescemon became much kore muscular as she Shifted. More arms, bigger muscles as well as two pairs of large muscle ears with drill earrings. She became a menacing figure.

Cyberdramon smashed his head against Doruguremon. The two roared and growled at each other. Cyberdramon swung his blade and slashed at the eye. Doruguremon attempted to bite Cyberdramon who shoved his weapon into their mouth keeping it open.

Noticing a bulge in Doruguremons throat, Cyberdramon prepared to stop it.

Tribal Leomon: DORUGUREMON!!

As a new sphere came out of its mouth, Tribal Leomon flew across the sky at high speed and shoved his fist into Doruguremons throat, shoving the sphere back in.

*BRUMP*

DX Doruguremon: KHAAAA..!?

Smoke poured out from his mouth. Tribal Leomon races all across Doruguremons body, cutting, stabbing and slashing at super sonic speeds until Doruguremon began to fall out of the sky. Plummeting down, Doruguremon was heading down to Bellatrix Antylamon who caught the massive dragon with her four arms.

Bellatrix Antylamon: "Bellatrix Stabbing"!!!

With her four muscular drill tipped ears, Bellatrix Antylamon began rapidly stabbing Doruguremon.

Tribal Leomon and Cyberdramon dropped down to deliver their attacks.

Cyberdramon: "Desolation Blade"!!!

Tribal Leomon: "Sacrificial Slash Of The Beast King"!!!

*SLOOOOOOSHHHHH*

DEATH X DORUGUREMON exploded. The three Ultimates stood around its lifeless body.

Tribal Leomon: There. It's over.

Bellatrix Antylamon: I guess our bodies don't fade away in this world...

Cyberdramon: Grrrrr ....!

DX Doruguremon:!

It didn't take long for it to rise back up, for this was not any ordinary Digimon, it was undead by so many accounts.

Sunny: It's back up?!

Luna: How?

Misato:(glares)

Before a fight could once again break out, the Digimon dematerialized back into DORUmon which laid unconscious. Sunny and Luna watched their partners revert back into their In-Trainig level, having over exerted themselves in the already taxing human world, they fell unconscious.

Misato: Cyberdramon!

Cyberdramon: RAAAH!

*STOMP*

Luna/Sunny:!?

After stomping on DORUmon, Cyberdramon raised his foot to see the Rookie get back up. Looking over to his partner for answers as to what to do next, Misato called the agency to come contain it.
