Chapter 19
What Happen?

He opens his eyes, and the first person he sees is the brunette that sitting next to him. Her crimson orbs lay a sight on him and smile crosses on her face.

"You've finally awake Koji." she said in relief. Her voice is calm that Koji started to think that everything is fine but as soon as he sit up and found his friends sitting in circle, not far away from them, heads' down he knew right away that they have problem.

"Glad you're finally up Koji." Koichi doesn't sound much relief and glad.

"What happen?" In a flash the memories of his friends getting stabbed returns on his head. "How's everyone?!"

"Everyone is alright." Takari answered "As you can tell we're not hurt at all, which a shock after being stabbed by those chains."

Koji checks himself, indeed he doesn't feel hurt anywhere and he seems really fine, but if so then what is that thing then?

Dropping it like it is nothing is impossible but... just what it did? What is those attacks' purpose?

"Check your digivice." Takari suggested.

Curious of why he must, Koji did as what he was told.

His eyes widen, the digivice aren't turning on no matter how many times he presses the buttons.

"What the--? My digivice is--"

"Not just yours, ours as well, except to Tsu's and Koko's."

"But how? And who attack us?"

"Sorry."  Kokoro went up to them with guilt written on her face. "We couldn't do anything, we didn't even able to find out who attack you guys."

"Maa-- don't mind it." Takuya said as he and the rest went where Koji is.

Patamon rest on atop of Takari's head, all heads are on him in instant.

"It's maybe Bindmon."

"Bindmon?"

"Yeah... maybe... probably... there aren't much information about Bindmon, and to be honest Bindmon is actually a myth, since no one could prove his existence."

"Or maybe because no one able to live to tell the tale." Takari concludes.

"Might be."

Everyone went into deep thought.

They have no lead, and it is a question if they should take that questionable idea at all.

"So?" Junpei brought up their attention to him, "What we should do from here?"

"Wait for an attack from enemies?"

"Might be... a bad idea..." Izumi response to Tomoki.

"True..."

They humms as they presses on their thoughts more.

"Let's..." They all turns to their oldest member, "think it through after a meal!"

Everyone look at Junpei dumbfounded; he really thinks food at a time like this but soon they all blushes when they hear their stomachs growl loudly.

"You're right!" Takuya agrees, grinning widely. "We won't be able to think properly with empty stomachs!"

Everyone agrees with enthusiast.

Just after they all stand feats of soft giggles echos throughout the forest, alerting the children and digimon.

They all readied themselves to any kind ambush.

Their eyes scan their surroundings for any possible threats.

Tsubasa and Kokoro take out their digivice for any needed moment that they must evolve, narrowing their eyes and gulped as anxiety slowly taking over their system.

Will they be able to protect Takuya and the others?

Can they defeat the enemy with just two of them and Renamon?

Kokoro couldn't help herself but to tremble.

Their thoughts cut off when each felt a bump on their shoulders; their eyes search for the people whom wake them up from their deteriorating thoughts.

"We still can fight." Koji ensure Tsubasa.

"Don't shoulder us." Koichi told Kokoro off.

The clouds, that slowly taking their world over, has disperse in a flash after hearing the twins assurance.

Right, they probably forgot that Koji and the others are not strong and brave because they can evolve into digimon, but because simply they are.

"Right..."

"Sorry."

"Such a cute friendship~"

"Where?"

"Where is that voice coming from?!"

While everyone is on high guard Takari slump down her shoulder, and her with Patamon has displeased expression on their faces, the tension has been release to the two upon hearing the elegant voice from distant.

"Aha~" Patamon's tired voice gains the attention of the rest. "You shouldn't scare the kids!"

"Eh? Patamon?"

"Ara~ what's up with the tension by the way?"

Takari sighs loudly, she's sound exasperated "Before anything else, please show yourself first."

"You look so bored my little princess~"

Before them appeared a woman dress in golden robes for shinto priest.

"Who?"

"Don't worry guys." Takari sounds so-done, but still tries to reassure them.

"That's Sanzomon--etto... she's kind of friends with Hikari-chan." Patamon introduced the new comer.

"Hikari?"

"My mom..."

"Ahhh..."

"So? What are you doing here? There's no way you're here just to fool around right?" Takari question.

"You and your cute face." another giggle escape from Sanzomon's lips.

"Well that's true..." Koji absentmindedly admitted.

For instance everyone peaks to Koji and Takari waiting for any response either from the two but after blinking twice Takari went back to Sanzomon.

"Please enough with that! Sanzomon supposedly elegant, praise worthy, but your personality is... far different than should be."

Several clicks of tongues could faintly reach Takari's and Sanzomon's hearing. Some gave Koji a goodluck prayer, and the rest sighs.

"My~" another giggles from Sanzomon.

Patamon, on the other hand, pat Takari's forehead, he have been resting atop her.

"Everyone thinks you're dense." Takari kept quiet and choose not to response to the whisper of the chubby digimon.

As she being quiet that sudden confession plays on her head and to make sure she won't give any reaction she'd bitten her inner bottom lip.

"Hmm... yes... like you said I'm not here to tease you."

Everyone focus on Sanzomon now.

"I'm here to send you back to Human world." Takari eyes narrows, while everyone shows their shock on their faces. "If not you'll be swallow along with Digital World in the oblivion."

It's finally time, is what they all think. Right the data has been shuttered. They already noticed that but they couldn't believe that it is already went gone this far. It went this much without them able to do anything to stop it.

"Ne do you know anything about Bindmon?" Takari asked, her voice hold seriousness, far from earlier.

"Bindmon? Yes, from what I know he can seal a data but other than that..." Sanzomon shook her head. "Why you ask?"

"Someone ambushed us, we couldn't able to tell what kind digimon is that, and Patamon suggested that it might be Bindmon."

"But we don't have any concrete evidence if Bindmon is real."

"How the attack went?

"Chains, we were stabbed by chains."

"When we woke up, our digivice are no longer working."

Sanzomon went silence for a moment before giving her answer to them.

"Bindmon is real; and from how you described it, yes, chains are what Bindmon used to seal a data, but to think that he can also seal the digivices." Her eyes narrows, then after momentary pause she turn back to them and continue "Normally I would advice that you should talk with Wisemon but the Digital World--in short this very spot we're standing at is the only thing that existing within, so looking for Wisemon is impossible."

Once again silence eats them, until...

"Na Sanzomon," the digimon that called turn her attention to the boy wearing bandana "if we're able to defeat Bindmon, will his seal be broken?" Koji asked the important thing.

"Maybe."

There's a pause, and during this quiet scenery data of the forest and remaining digimon has started to shutters quietly, slowly and softly approaching the group.

"Ne," Takari call "if the Digital World will be done soon then our best bet right now is to go back to our world, and there's big possibility that Alice and the others are--probably--already at Human world."

"Moreover." Izumi started "is wasn't like we have anymore choices."

"So? What to do Gogglehead?"

"Isn't obvious? If we defeat Chadramon then everything, all of it will back to normal, so of course we off to human world!"

Everyone nodded.

Sanzomon feel satisfied to the scene before her; satisfied and relief, seeing the hope of their world shows enthusiasm despite the odds.

With single graceful wave of her hand a portal at her command appeared behind her.

"This portal will lead you to your world."

"Thank you Sanzomon."

"Please be safe Chosen Children."

With final goodbye the kids and pair of digimon went through the gate, leaving Sanzomon slowly disappearing.
