Chapter 16

Faith

"Damn you Takari!!!" Takuya cursed.

"Achoo!" one sneeze from four human silhouettes that running in the middle of dark forest with unknown small wing-digimon figure.

"Hey did you catch a cold?" the smallest among the humans asked.

"No, I don't think so." The one at the middle replied.

"Maybe someone is thinking of you~" The biggest among them jot in, teasing his companion.

"Or more like cursing me."

And that bring confusion on the rest.

Meanwhile on the place where Takuya had left his sleeping princess; Izumi has digivolved into Fairymon and has keep using her technique 'Brezza Petalo' to destroy a huge white and black orb without rest.

But no matter how many times she does it, it just ending in vain.

Then all the sudden Koji, Koichi, Alice, Tsu and Koko arrived to the scene.

"What happen here Izumi?" Koji quickly asked, seeing her urge on attacking the huge orb in front of her.

Fairy digimon/human that hasn't rest since she woke up finally stops as soon as she heard Koji's voice. She turns around and quickly went to his side,

"Takuya! Takuya is!"

"What happened to Takuya?" Koji asked, then he felt feats of taps on his shoulder; he turn to see his brother tapping his shoulder while looking at the huge orb. Without any word just by his brother's look Koji look back at the huge orb, and when concentrate his sight on it, his eyes went wide. Kanbara Takuya is trapped inside the orb and unconscious. "Wh-what the-"

"When I woke up, I saw that thing, while Takuya is missing. I then look for Takuya everywhere but-then when I look carefully to that huge thing,I found Takuya inside. I-I called for him but he's not responding; so I try to destroy that thing but it's no use!" As Izumi, who's in the inside of Fairymon, explaining everything to them tears is starting swell up to her eyes.

"Tsu, Koko has any of you seen that thing before?" Koichi asked to the two kids from the future.

Kokoro shook her, signing them that she didn't. On the other hand Tsubasa nodded,

"I blurry remember everything, but I was trap in there once."

"What happened then?" Koichi asked,

"All I remember is, when I was there my cousins are in different places and they acting strange, like really strange. The next thing I know Mom and Dad were smiling at me, I can see relief on their faces; and then my twin sister Sakura told me that Sasuke's digimon entrapped me there and our parents saved me. Ah... is that help?"

"I... honestly didn't understand anything, but has your sister told you how they saved you?" Izumi asked.

"They didn't; my parents didn't like bragging anything concerning hero's stuffs."

"Koji~" Koichi cooed to his brother.

"Yeah, I'll remember that." Koji response, feeling defeated. His future self doesn't change at all.

His response cause silent chuckle from his twin that fortunately didn't catch anyone's attention.

After of a long flight, the brunet end-up in the middle of a giant chest board. He gets into to his feet quickly, and examined the place; aside to the two coloured-chess pieces he saw two familiar faces on the each side of the board, seating on throne-like chairs that floating just little above the board.

"O...kay, now this two." He said in beat and doubtful voice of his.

"How dare you to interrupt our precious game?" the familiar voice of his friend sound piercing, menacing and mad.

'This is bad.'

"Howling Laser!" Wolfmon attacked the orb for who knows how many times. Though, despite their attacks they couldn't leave a scratch on the orb that trapping their goggle head. "Tch, it's no use."

Koichi, Tsubasa and Kokoro also evolved into their digimon counterpart and have been attacking the orb but like Koji had said 'it's no use'.

"You didn't give it any scratch!" Alice commented.

It's really sound irritating, especially from someone who couldn't do anything.

"Yea, thank you for the OBVIOUS thing, Alice-chan; but it's not helping!"

"Hey easy Izumi," Koichi try to calm his friend; well none of them can blame Izumi for being a hot-headed.

"Hot head is not helping too, Izumi!" Koko/Sakuyamon added.

"Relax Fairymon! We have to think of something to help Takuya." Tsu/Holyangemon stated.

"And it is require to be calm, Izumi." Koji said, as he reverted back to his original form.

Unusual rust from leaves sounded their place heighten their guards.

"Who's there?!" Sakuyamon yells, not wishing to have an enemy at this kind of situation.

But she nor anyone didn't expect to see a cute orange wing-digimon emerged on the direction they all looking at.

"Oh..." Tsubasa felt relax after seeing the flying small digimon "It's just a patamon huh."

"It scares me!" Kokoro commented, as she and her cousin reverted back into their original form.

"They're here guys!" Patamon said while looking back at the direction he came into.

"Really?!" an excited, child, familiar voice resounded from the direction Patamon's looking.

"Good grief, finally urgh!" tired, yet relief.

"Don't go off on your own Patamon!" charming voice.

Everyone focus their attention to the place where the patamon appeared; alerting themselves just in case it is an enemy, even those voice were all too familiar.

From there a brunette wearing light pink with white sleeves varsity jacket with brown ¾ pants, and her long brown hair were tied into single ponytail with golden clip.

Without any words coming out from anyone yet, Koji dash towards the brunette and embrace tightly.

"Good, you're safe!" Takari can hear and feel his relief through his voice that make her smile; while their friends smile as well, except to Alice who suddenly look trouble.

"Ko-ji~ We're here too, you know!" Junpei who came out with Tomoki and Renamon teases with grins on their faces.

Junpei is wearing dark blue with white sleeves varsity jacket and Tomoki's varsity jacket is green with same white. All of their pants and hats are the same to the one they always have. On their jackets' chest part AO is imprinted on and underneath of it is their elements.

Koji broke the hug as soon as the three shows themselves with sly grin on their faces.

"Junpei! Tomoki! Renamon! You three are safe too!"

"Of course we are." Renamon stated calmly.

"That guy, is he Takari's boyfriend?" Patamon, who is actually Takari's father digimon partner, asked to Tomoki and Junpei.

As expected Koji and Takari blushes to the digimon's words,

"Where did you get that from Patamon?!" she asked with angry mark on forehead while pulling the wing-digimon's chubby cheeks.

Junpei, Tomoki, and Renamon walks to their friends, chooses to ignore the busy buddies of them.

"Yo! Where's Takuya?" Junpei questioned.

Their smiles changes into frowned as soon as they heard the brunet's name.

Patamon, who is muffles his laughs because of Takari, stops and gone quiet as he noticed the changes in everyone's mood, which catches the attention of the brunette; she stop on her business as well and turn to her friends letting go of her father's digimon partner.

Kokoro points the orb behind them indicating the new comer their answer that relies on that thing.

Takari and the rest have their eyes widen as soon as they realized what their friends trying to say.

"O-Oi! What's happening?!" the fatty, that not so bad, questioned.

"Takuya-niichan is-" horror can be seen to the younger's face.

"He-eh~" Takari who is now standing near them chimes with her playful tone but with tint of menace lace in.

Everyone turns to her, it is not every day you can hear this tone from the female brunette.

There's a reason behind her tone, that's for sure.

"So, you've finally make your move..."

"Takari...-nee?" confusion is eating her friends. They didn't know who she talking among them or it is among them?

"Since when?"

Koichi eyes widen in realization,

"Just recently,"

"No way-right?" Kokoro in disbelief state.

"You're indeed amazing, Takari-san."

Junpei mouth wide open.

"So, did you enjoy yourself, Alice?"

"I am." With mirth lace on her voice, Alice is now standing next to her digimon partner Cheshiremon.
