(Fanny's P.O.V.)

I sighed sadly as I walked down the busy streets of Orlando, Florida.

I reached in my pocket and pulled out a folded piece of paper. It had my whole schedule for today written out.

Fanny's schedule
7:00 am-7:15 Breakfast
7:30 - 8:00 Summer homework
8:05- 8:20 head to Orlando
8:25-10:00 Attend Dad's autograph signing
10:10- 10: 15 Free time
10:20 - 11:00 Have father and daughter time.
12:00- 12:30 Go to a five star restaurant
1:00 pm go back to hotel

I sighed as I stuffed the schedule back in my pocket. I was always so busy. My dad's autograph signing was finally over and I was glad off it.

I had to sit next to him the whole time and smile politely if anyone look at me. Or if anyone wanted to take a picture of me next to my dad.

My dad was Maximus Stelton a very famous actor. He is very well known in playing in a lot of action movies.

What he is not well known for is that he never spends any time with me. When I wasn't hanging out with my dad... I was back home in the Neitherlands.

I live in a large house. My dad rarely lives there. But don't worry I am watched over. A maid pretty much works full time.

I also attend a private school. Where I have to wear a stupid uniform. I wish I could go to a different school where I could wear whatever I want. Instead of attending a school with rich snobs.

At the moment I had five minutes of free time. Which wasn't very long so I had to find something to do and very quick.

I groan and look over at an AT&T store. I did need a cell phone and it looks like their on sale. I walked over there.

I got close to the door and stared at my apprarance. My light hazel hair was shoulder length. My eyes were a light blue. And today I decided to wear a yellow shirt with a gray jacket over it, and blue jeans. On my back, I had a backpack. Which I carried a few potatoes. Because why not? I just like to tick my dad off. He told me to wear a dress for the five star restaurant we were going to attend today.

I pulled the door open and walked into the shop. I notice that I was probably the only customer in there.

I shrugged it off and started to check out a few phone models.

Hmm this phone looks nice. I picked up the cell phone and I started to look it over.

I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turn around to see a sixteen year old girl. She was taller than me and she had a huge grin.

Oh great...this girl looks peppy... this was going to kill me.

"Hey there!" She shouted as she noticed I had her full attention.

I look the girl over quickly. She had short spiky red hair and hazel eyes. She had dimples on her cheeks and just seem to be very friendly. She wore a white t-shirt with a blue jacket over it. With that she also wore blue jeans and black dress shoes. Over her right side of her chest was a name tag which read. "Hello my name is Skylar Ruby. How can I help you today?"

The girl named Skylar took the phone from my hands and held it next to her face. "So I guess this is the phone you want? Huh? " she asked with a huge grin. "It's a very great model, and today you can start a phone plan for fifty percent off." She informed me.

I sweat drop and look down at my watch. I only had two minutes to get back to the building to meet up with my dad. And I did have enough money.

"Yes I would like to buy it."

Skylar threw a fist into the air happily. "Yes my first sale of today! Follow me." She instructed.

She lead me to the check out desk and started to ring up my phone. She was tapping away on the computer. As she did this she look over at me.

"So do you like to travel?" She asked.

I shrugged. "A little."

She nodded and continue typing. "I love to travel. Mostly with my boyfriend though... but he can be a pain sometimes. But I just give him a good Ole Skylar slap and that fixes everything." She giggles.

I raised an eyebrow. "Skylar slap?" I asked.

She nods. "Yes that's what I call when I slap someone. A Skylar slap, how I knock some sense into people. Use the power wisely." She teases.

This girl seem a little crazy.

She showed me the total on the screen and I used my credit card that my dad gave me.

She handed me my phone but before I could take it away from her. Skylar look straight into my eyes. "Your adventure starts today Fanny. Make sure you help your friends follow the path of justice. I believe that I pick the right person, please let my rely on you."

I step back as she let go off my phone. I never told her my name...

The girl waved at me. "Have a good day."

I quickly turn on my heels and left the store quickly. I started to boot up my phone. I put it in my pocket for it to warm up.

That girl was weird. What did she mean I was about to go on a adventure?

I look over at a T.V. store which was showing the news I saw at the hotel. It was about those kids who were working along with those demons. It said that they escaped to a different world or something, and police were holding a women for questioning.

Just then I felt a buzz in my pocket. I guess my phone was fully on. I took my phone out of my pocket and realized I had a text message.

"That's weird." I mumbled. I clicked on the message and instantly regretted it. Gold light blinded me, the light shine straight into my eyes. When I look down at my phone I saw a strange symbol in the center of it.

Soon everything around me grew black.

A felt something soft touch my face.

I rolled over with my eyes closed. I guess it was my dog Billy trying to wake me up. I ignored him. I wanted to get some more sleep.

"Do you think she's dead?" A high pitch male voice asked.

My eyes shot open when I heard that. Wait a second...that voice was definitely one that I didn't recognize.

"I don't know. I hope not. Fanny are you okay?" A soft male voice asked.

Okay their were two strangers behind me. What should I do? Should I scream or try to find some help. Where was I... I must be hyperventilating because I can't recognize where I am.

I turned to the two figures and I was suprised to see two animal like creatures.

The first one was a small chipmunk like creature. It had dark brown fur and yellow eyes. He wore a helmet on top of his head and he wore a camo colored jacket.

The other creature was a lion cub. He had white fur. Yellow eyes, and he wore blue amour. In his left paw was a sword with a gold hilt.

I notice that I was sitting on a grassy field. A forest surrounded the three of us.

"Who are you two!? And where am I?! " I screamed. I grab my backpack which was still on my back and I threw a potato at them.

The lion and chipmunk dodged the vegatuable.

The chipmunk creature put his paws on his hips. "Hey Fanny don't freak out. You don't have to go crazy on us."

How did these creatures know my name? Okay do I have a name tag on my jacket or something. I check my jacket but none was found. But I did see something new. I saw a white watch on my wrist.

The lion cub frowned and raised his paws in defense. "I know you must be really freak out right now-"

"You think!?" I shouted

The lion rubbed the back of his neck. "My name is Spadamon. You don't have to worry Fanny were not here to hurt you." He informed me.

The chipmunk creature nodded. "My name is Chicamon. He's telling the truth. We are just trying to help you out. You see your in the digital world."

I raised an eyebrow. "Digital world..." I whispered.

Then the news report flashed back in my head. Demons attacking the city. Could these two creatures be demons?

I look at the both of them for a quick second and shook that thought out of my head.

Those two didn't look like they wouldn't hurt me.

Chicamon nodded. "Yes the digital world. You see this world is different from Earth. Digimon live in this world. This world is made up of data. And at this moment this world is in peril. We need your help, you were called on alongside other humans to be the digidestined to fight the sovereigns. The four of those digimon not only want to destroy your world but also this one. To create a new world in their image."

I sweat drop. "Don't you think that's a little to much to ask of a fifteen year old girl to do?" I asked.

Chicamon raced up my arm to sit on my shoulder. "Fanny please we need your help. You have to fight alongside the other kids from your world. You nine are the only kids who have the power to destroy the sovereigns and save your world." He informed me.

I put a fist over my heart. "But what could I do? I don't have any magical powers to fight back against these...sovereigns?" I mummbled.

Spadamon grinned. "You don't have to worry about that. Because I'm your digimon partner."

Spadamon and Chicamon inform me about this large war against the sovereigns and digimon called the legends. Spadamon was an unborn legend, a legend that was supposed to be born but something happen before that happen.

I wrapped my arms around my knees. "I'm sorry you guys...but I don't know if I can do that." I whispered as I covered my face. "You got the wrong girl. I think you need someone else... maybe someone who knows how to fight."

Spadamon shake his head. "But I need you Fanny. Your the only one who can help me Digivolve." He informed me as he placed a paw on my arm.

I shake my head and got up from where I sat. "I'm sorry... I just don't think I can help." I whispered.

Chicamon sighed sadly. "Well... I guess we will still try fighting." He mumbled sadly.

I look between the lion cub and the chipmunk digimon. The two of them look heartbroken. They really look like they were depending on me to join the fight. But how could I assist the other kids who have already been fighting for so long?

"I'm sorry to ask this but can I get home?" I asked.

Chicamon rubbed his little neck. "Well you see. Your watch doesn't have the function of a portal yet. So you have to wait for a portal to open in the digital world."

My eyes grew wide at the information. I was stuck here...my dad would kill me if I didn't show up on time.

Spadamon grabbed my hand. "Don't worry. We know a guy that can help out."

Spadamon and Chicamon lead me to a cave. Inside the cave it was like a house. It had a kitchen, a living room, and even a bed in the far side of the room.

Sitting in one of the chairs in the living room was a large blue dragon digimon.

The dragon got up from the chair and turned to us.

"Oh hello Chicamon and Spadamon...hmmm?" The dragon looks over at me confused. "Who is this human?" He asked.

Chicamon smiled as he pointed at me. "Her name is Fanny. She is one of the chosen digidestined."

I sweat drop. Why was this little chipmunk calling me that? He knows that I don't want to stay here.

The dragon got up and waved at me. "Hello my name is Veedramon." He introduced himself with a smile.

I nodded at the dragon. "Hey there... it's nice to meet you." I mummbled.

The dragon nods and continues to talk. "I'm just glad that you have decided to help out. We really need the digidestined's help right now. The sovereigns want to destroy this place and-"

I shake my head. "You misunderstanding. I never wanted to be a digidestined. I'm planning to go home back to my world when a portal opens." I informed him.

Veedramon raised an eyebrow. "Why do you want to go home?" He asked.

I just shook my head. "Because I don't belong here. I'm not a hero, I don't think i will be that much of a help to those digidestined that are already fighting." I whispered.

Spadamon whiskers fell. The lion cub digimon look a little sad about what I just said.

Veedramon gestured for me to follow him. "Let's have a quick talk." He instructed.

The dragon digimon walked outside of the cave. I hesitated for a second but I followed after him. Even though he look somewhat dangerous I trusted him for some reason.

Veedramon had waited outside for me.

I walked over to the dragon and he walked towards the woods. I followed after him. The entire time we both were quiet as we walked. Neither of us spoke.

Veedramon walked out of the woods to a cliff and sat at the edge. He gestured for the spot next to him and I sighed and sat down next to him.

We sat there for a while. I look up into the dark sky of the night. Their was a full moon in the sky. The whole sky was littered with stars. It was beautiful, I never really had a lot of free time to do things like this.

Veedramon broke the silence. He coughed and look over at me. "Fanny why are you scared of the digital world?" He asked.

I sighed and look down off of the side of the cliff. Their was water below us, and it looks like their was a piece of a cliff that must have fallen many years ago because their was moss on it.

"I was just thrown into this. How could I be that much help to those kids who have been here longer then me?" I asked.

Veedramon smiled. "You like the others kids are special. You were chosen by a crest because it believe that you have the qualities to bring out its true powers." He informed me.

My eye brows raised. A crest chose me? But which one? Where these crest alive?

Veedramon sighed. "I think I might mow which crest chose you."

"Which one?" I asked.

Veedramon smiled again. "The crest of justice."

My heart stop when he said this. The crest of justice? That one girl name Skylar at the store said something about justice. It could have been a coincidence.

"Why would the crest of justice chose me? I don't even know anything about that." I whispered as I rub my arm. I look back into the sky. "I go to a private school where kids only care about their popularity and their clothes. Also my dad never spends anytime with me, the only thing he has time for is his acting career." I whispered.

"What about your mother?" He asked.

I felt tears beginning to form in my eyes. "I never really knew her. She died when I was a baby. Sometimes I believe my dad blames me for her death... that's why he tries to stay away from me... because he told me before I look just like my mother."

Veedramon put his hand on my shoulder. "Fanny their is nothing to worry about. I use to know a girl who tried her best to keep her friends together. And she almost went crazy due to it." He chuckled and stop when he notice I was raising an eyebrow. " I know that doesn't really corospond with our conversation but Fanny the crest of justice chose you because it felt like you would help both worlds unite with one another. And that you be able to help the digidestined stay together."

I shake my head. "I just don't know if I have it in me." I cried.

Just then a roar was heard behind us. Veedramon and I turn our heads to see an alligator digimon. It was standing on all fours. It had green like scales and it was huge.

My watch beep and a hologram of the digimon appears above the screen. "Nilemon is a champion level digimon. His speed is unpredictable in the water. His attacks in the water are swift and fast pace. On land this digimon depends on quick thoughts and we'll thought out moves. Due to this digimon being slower on land." My digivice said in a women's voice.

Veedramon got up from where he was sitting. He bawled his fist and barred his fangs. "Get away from her Nilemon!"

Nilemon cackled as he look at me. "I don't think so Veedramon. I think I'm going to turn in that girl. I wonder how much I will be payed for turning in a human girl to the sovereigns." The alligator digimon look at me closer and his eyes grew wide. "She...she has one of those digivices... but... theirs only eight legends...not nine..." he mummbled in confusion.

Veedramon stood in front of me now. "I won't let you take her." He snarled.

Veedramon was protecting me? Why was I so important?

Nilemon barred his fangs. "So be Veedramon. I will finish you here, and turn her over to Azulongmon. He will decide what to do with this girl." He cackled.

Veedramon raced foward and open his mouth. "V-Nova blast!"

Nilemon raised his tail and shouted. "Twisted spikes!" His tails shout out many black spikes which caused the blast of fire to burst into fire sparks.

Veedramon raced over to the alligator digimon and rammed him into a tree.

I watch the dragon digimon with worry. What happens if he got hurt because of me.

Veedramon punched the alligator digimon in the face. "I will not let you hurt her!"

The alligator snickers and open his muzzle. "Ancient waves!" A huge blast of water slammed into Veedramon chest.

Veedramon was sent flying backwards into a tree.

"Veedramon!" I screamed. I ran towards the champion level dragon digimon. I was scared that he was injured.

But Nilemon got in my way. "I don't think so girly. Will you come with me now?" He asked.

I shake my head. "I just want to go home!" I sobbed. "I don't belong here! Why don't you let me go home!" I cried.

Nilemon gritted his fangs. "Just come along with me now." He instructed.

"No!" I yelled.

Nilemon raised his tail. "Fine. I cam bring you in dead! Twisted spikes!"

The spikes flew towards me. My eyes grew wide as they grew closer to me.... I was going to die... and their was nothing I could do...

Just then I caught something blue form the corner of my eye. At the last moment Veedramon ran in front of me and the spikes pierced through his chest.

Tears flew from my eyes as Veedramon cried out in pain.

"Veedramon!" I screamed.

Veedramon fell backwards. He fell roughly on the ground. His eyes were wide open in suprise. Seven spikes were implented in his chest. Blood soaked his chest. And blue data seem to spill from the open wounds.

I put my hand on the dragon's shoulder. Tears fell from the corners of my eyes. "Why?" I asked.

I didn't understand why he would sacrifice his life to save mine.

Nilemon laughed at the scene in front of him. "This is great. The great hero of the valley will finally fall. Oh I'm going to be payed so well." He cackled.

Spadamon and Chicamon ran out of the woods and saw everything in front of them.

Spadamon pulled his sword from his belt and turned to Nilemon. "Damm you!" He yelled as he pounced towards the alligator. He pointed the tip towards the reptile and shouted. "Aurora Blazer!" A rainbow beam shout of the sword and hit the alligator in the face.

The alligator roared out in anger and shot out spikes at the lion cub. Who did a backflip in the air to dodge them.

I look back at Veedramon who was giving me a small smile. He seem to be struggling to keep his eyes open. "Veedramon." I cried. Tears were streaming down my face. I grab a rag from my backpack and started to dry up some of the blood on his chest. "Don't worry... everything is going... to be okay." I sobbed uncontrollably.

Veedramon placed a soft hand on my shoulder. "Fanny it's okay." He whispered.

"No it's not! Your hurt and it was all my fault." I sobbed.

Veedramon continue to smile. "The important thing is that your still alive." He patted my shoulder. "I believe in the word of justice. Justice is protecting the ones that you care about. Fanny please-" Veedramon barred his fangs as it seem like pain went throughout his pain

"Veedramon..." I whispered as a tear stream down my cheek.

Veedramon continue talking. "Fanny please stay in the digital world. You are a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for. I can sense a strong warrior inside of you. It depends on you to let that warrior free."

I put my hand on his shoulder. "Please don't... go Veedramon... you can't die... please don't die." I cried.

Veedramon gave me a soft smile. "I promise to you that Chicamon and Spadamon will protect you. Please...save the digital world." He squeeze my shoulder and slowly closed his eyes.

"Veedramon..." I whispered I tired to push on his shoulder a little. "Veedramon?" I whispered once more.

Suddenly the hand on my shoulder slowly started to disovle into blue data. "No!" I screamed as I slowly watched the rest of his body disappearing.

"You can't die!" I cried

When the last part of the Dragon was disovle I covered my eyes and screamed loudly. It was all my fault. If only if I jump out of the way, Veedramon would be here."

Veedramon was dead because of me.

Then a thought occurred in my head. Veedramon wouldn't want me to cry over me. I slowly started to understand what he meant. I have to fight for the people I care about.

Veedramon I will fight no matter what... I will save the digital world... for all digimon....

I slowly look back at the fight to see Spadamon slam his sword into the Alligator snout. The alligator trashed around when the blade pierce through his scales.

I felt a soft hand on my shoulder. At first I thought it could have been Veedramon. But it wasn't him... it...it was Skylar.

She was smiling at me.

"I knew I could depend on you. It also looks like the crest of justice thinks so too." She smiles.

I look down in front of me to see a gold symbol in front of me glowing brightly.

Skylar held up a necklace. "Fanny you are a very strong individual. Please remember what Veedramon told you. You will be a great digidestined I promise you." She said as she put the necklace around my neck.

"I just don't know."

Skylar smiled again. "Just believe in yourself." Skylar slowly started to turn into golden data. She was disappearing too? My day is getting so weird.

I look back at the fight. I slowly got up to my feet and bawled my fist. "Nilemon! You will pay for your crimes! I won't let you hurt the people I care about anymore!" I screamed.

At the end of the necklace was an emblem of the moon. The symbol started to glow brightly.

I look down at my right hand to see it was glowing with the same energy. I suddenly realized what I had to do.

I held up my wrist as my digivice started to glow. "Digivice!" I shouted. An image of the moon appeared above my digivice. "Night charge!" I shouted as my hand started to pulse with white and dark light. I slammed my hand over my digivice and waited for the light to sink into my digivice. A mechanical women's voice spoke. "Elemental charge reached" she said

A few seconds went by but suddenly the light flashed around the white lion digimon. "Spadamon night charge Digivolve to....' The white lion digimon started to change quickly as the white energy started to change his amour to a dark green color. The dark energy started to change the lion fur color to a light green, wings grew out of the lions back. A ring appeared at the end of the digimon tail as he digivoulation ended. "Fairlymon!" he roared. The light dissolved around him as he flew towards Nilemon was barred fangs.

"Make him pay for what he did!" I cried.

Fairlymon held out his paws as claws extended from them. "Sharp claw!" He yelled.

Fairlymon slashed out at the alligator Digimon.

The alligator cried in pain as a slash appeared on his face.

"Ancient Waves!" He called out.

Fairlymon smirked as his fangs were covered in fire. "Burning crash!" He roared.

Fairlymon flew through the stream of water and bite down into Nilemon.

Nilemon screamed out in pain as his body dissolve in black data. The data flew into my watch.

Fairlymon flew down next to me. I wrapped my arms around his neck to hug him. "Thank you Fairlymon." I whispered.

Chicamon ran over to us. "I'm glad to see your okay." He whispered as he ran up my arm to sit on my shoulder.

I nodded slowly. "But what about Veedramon?" I asked sadly.

Fairlymon sighed sadly. "I'm sorry Fanny...but it's possible that if we save the digital world. He may be reborn." He informed me.

I narrowed my eyes and nodded. "Then so be it. I will help the other digidestined to save the digital world." I said confidentiality.

Fairlymon smiled. "Okay get on my back. And we will try to fly around to find them." He instructed.

I nodded and climb onto his back.

"Let's go!" Chicamon cheered.

I may not know everything about the digital world just yet. But one thing is for sure. I was going to give my all to save it.
