My friends and I were walking around the abounded city. All of us were still a little depressed about Leomon dying. But hopefully once we defeat the Dark Masters everything will go back to normal.

Labramon: Boy I'm I hungry.

Joe: Didn't we just eat a couple of hours ago?

Gomamon: Hey were just-

Gomamon and Labramon: (unison) Two growing digimon.

The two of them laughed togther.

Joe sweat drops.

Joe: More like eating machines...

Palmon: Digimon do get hungrier the more the digivovle.

Me: And I guess they digivolve twice today. The first time we saw Puppetmon, and then when MetalEtemon attacked.

Mimi sighed.

Mimi: This is the worst.... but hopefully we can find primary village soon. Hey Ogremon do you happen to remember where you saw the destruction of Primary village?

My friends and I look at Ogremon hopefully. The champion level digimon scratch his head.

Ogremon: Sorry it's been so long... I don't remember where it is.

Me: That's okay Ogremon we will find it eventually.

We continue walking until we heard clicking noises.

Palmon: Does any else hear that?

Otamamon: What could it be?

The clicking noise came again but it was closer this time.

Labramon: (nodding) I heard it too...but where is it coming from?

Gekomon: Maybe it's a cloak.

My friends and I turned our heels to see three metal like gear creatures were flying towards us. Their were probably ten of them in total.

Gomamon: Oh no its a bunch of hagurumon! And their coming this way. We have to leave before they attack us with their cog crusher attack. They shot out gears that our ten times worse than a black gear and it drives that person mad!

Me: I say we get out of here!

My friends and I turn to the direction we came from and continue to run.

Joe: Do you think we can outrun them?!

Labramon: I hope so!

This was completely terrible. We were getting attack by some of the dark masters goonies. And if I had to put money on it, these goonies belong to MachineDramon.

Hagurumon: Cog crusher!

Gears flew towards my friends and I. We quickly dashed into an alleyway. With a quick look behind me. I could see the ten Hagurumon still flouting after us.

Me: This is definitely bad. They are very persistent. They really want to get us!

We continue running down many different alleyways.

Ogremon: Their just like the Woodmon I got chased after by a couple of hours ago. They won't leave us alone until we're finshed with...

My friends and I took one more right turn and ended up in a dead end.

Mimi: Oh no... we went the wrong way!

Joe: This is bad!!

Me: Quickly guys we have to go the other way!

We all turn to face back the way we came to see all the Hagurumon lined up to attack us.

Hagurumon 1: You have no where to run now digidestined.

Otamamon: We corned...

Gekomon: This is the end buddy...

(The two amphibian digimon hugged each other tightly)

All of the Hagurumon laughed. I reach down for my digivice. If we were going down, at least we were going down fighting.

Voice: Whenever their is trouble, a hero will emerge from the shadows.

Joe: Huh? Who's that?

We all turned around to see a figure on top of a roof top. They were cloak in shadows so we couldn't see them.

Ogremon: Who's that?

Mimi: I have no idea.

Otamamon: We're saved. It's the valley protector.

My friends and I: Valley protector?

Voice: When I hear the screams for help I come running to help those in need. You villains who work for the dark masters will face my justice. Because the valley protector is here!

The figure jumped off the roof top and slammed into the ground. I tried to look at them closer but before I could make out his appearance he quickly dashed off and punch one of the Hagurumon in the face.

Gomamon: Wow this valley protector guy doesn't play around. He's quick.

Voice: V- nova Blast!

A huge blast of fire was directed from the figure mouth causing three of the Hagurumon to burst into data.

Figure: That's three down, seven more to go .

Hagurumon 2: You won't beat us.

The figure laughed and raced foward towards three more of the Hagurumon.

Figure: Magnum punch!

The figure ' s fist was surronded in golden aura and he slammed his fist against one of the Hagurumon. The hagurumon he punched, slammed into the other two behind it causing the three to burst into data.

Figure: That's three more, only four more to go.

I tried to look at the figure more closely. But due to him running around so quickly. Avoiding getting hit by the Hagurumon trying to punch then with their gear hands. It was almost impossible.

Me: He sounds so familiar... I know I heard it somewhere before...

Mimi: He sure is very powerful.

Ogremon: I wonder if he has a rival...

I sweatdrop. Like Ogremon really needed another rival... and why was he trying to move on so quickly?

Joe: Well at least he is helping us...Ah guys...what happens if we're next?

Gomamon shakes his head.

Gomamon: Joe don't worry he is some kind of hero. He protects people.

Otamamon: (nodding) The valley protector alway help people in need. He would never hurt us.

Gekomon: Yeah he's the coolest digimon ever!

I look back at the fight to see the Hagurumon cornered the figure.

Hagurumon 1: Looks like we got you now.

Hagurumon 3: You won't be much of a problem to the dark masters plans anymore.

Hagurumon 2: Yeah once we're done with you. You will only be a bad memory.

Hagurumon 4: Your done with Valley protector.

All Hagurumon: Cog crusher !

All my friends and I: Oh no.

The gears flew towards the figure but the figure wrapped himself with the cap that he had around his neck. Which covered him from the gears.

All hagurumon: Wha?

All the gear digimon was suprised that their attacks did no damage whatsoever to the figure.

Figure: Your time is up you evil gears. Your rain of terror is finshed.

The figure jumped into the air very high.

Figure: Cutting shoot!

The figure started to claw at the air very quickly. And blades of wind appeared around him. Suddenly the blades of wind cut right through the final four of the Hagurumon and they were turned into data.

Palmon: He did it!

Labramon: The valley protector destroyed all of them.

Otamamon: We're saved!

The figure landed on the ground. And slowly turned to us. On closer inspection he was a dragon digimon...he was...

Me: Veedramon!?

I raced towards the dragon digimon with my arms outstretched.

The dragon blinked in surprise.

Veedramon: Skylar?

I hugged Veedramon and the dragon digimon hugged me back. I was so happy to see him. I didn't see him in forever and I started to worry that the dark masters destroyed him. But to see he was okay and that he can handle himself just made it worth it.

Joe: Is that really Veedramon?

Mimi: It's good to see he is okay but what's with the costume?

I could see that Veedramon had on a red cap that was tied around his neck, and fell down his back.

Gomamon: Wasn't he the digimon that tried to eat Skylar?

Labramon: Well he was being controlled.

Palmon: Who cares. He saved us.

Veedramon and I stop hugging and I smiled.

Me: It's so good to see you again Veedramon. I'm so glad to see you again.

Veedramon: Me too.

Me: (raising an eyebrow) Why are you playing a super hero.

Veedramon looks around.

Veedramon: We should get out of here quick. All of us quick. It's not safe to be out in the open. Come on!

Veedramon races off.

Ogremon: Should we trust him.

Gekomon: But of course, he is the valley protector.

Me: And one of my friends.

We all raced after Veedramon.

After a while. We had reached to a abounded building. Which Veedramon led us inside. He closed the door behind us, and slammed a wooden lock down. When that was completed, the dragon digimon sighed and put his cap on a coat hanger.

Veedramon: So are you guys okay? Do any of you have any injuries after that attack?

All of us shack our head.

Mimi: Ah...Veedramon...oh I mean valley protector sir. How long have you been protecting the valley?

Oh gosh I hope Mimi doesn't blame Veedramon about what happen a couple of hours ago.

Veedramon: You can call me Veedramon. I have been protecting the valley for months on end. Ever sense the dark masters took over I decided to help the innocent digimon that couldn't fight back. Just a few hours ago, I saved a group of Palmon from a Scorpiomon.

Mimi sighs. She must have realized that Veedramon wasn't around when MetalEtemon attack us. I was getting worried that Mimi was going to blame Veedramon for not helping us out.

Me: So how long have you been living here?

Veedramon starts making his way to a staircase. We followed after him.

Veedramon: I lived here for three months. It's been hectic, the henchmen of the dark master have been attacking more and more. I'm just glad that two of them are gone now.

Joe nodded.

Joe: Only two more to go...

Palmon: Do you live here by yourself,

Veedramon shakes his head.

Veedramon: No, their is two other digimon that I saved. Their homes were destroyed so I allowed them to live with me. I wasn't going to allow them to be homeless while the dark masters were still in power.

I smiled and patted his shoulder.

Me: You did the right thing Veedramon.

Otamamon: The valley protector is so cool.

Gekomon: (nodding) Right? He is so cool. I can't wait to tell our friends that we met the village protector in person!

Otamamon: (looks down sadly) If we can find them...

Gomamon: Hey Veedramon. Sorry for asking this. But do you have any food?

Veedramon nodded.

Veedramon: Don't worry. Once we get to my living area. Their is loads of food there.

Labramon eyes sparkled and he put both of his paws together.

Labramon: This is the best! I can't wait to eat!

Veedramon chuckles and walked into a large room.

Inside the room was also two familiar digimon.

Mimi: It's Meramon!

Joe: And Frigimon!

Ogremon sweat drops.

Ogremon: Boy do you kids have a lot of friends...

We walked over to the two digimon that were sitting down. Veedramon and my friends and I sat down.

While our digimon raced over to a pile of food and started to help themselves.

Palmon: I'm so hungry I can eat a cow.

Labramon: I'm so hungry I can eat a horse.

Gomamon: Ha! I'm so hungry I can eat a whole whale!

The three digimon dive into the pile of food and started to dig in.

Mimi: Well at least they will be able to gain their energy back...

I look between Meramon and Frigimon.

Me: How are you two? Veedramon said that your homes were destroyed. Is everything okay?

Mimi: It's terrible that you two have to go through this right now.

Meramon: (sighing) It's true...the dark masters destroyed the volcano I lived on...and not only that but they destroyed Yokomon village... I couldn't save them... (He rubs his face sadly.)

Joe: That's terrible. Those dark masters keep on causing trouble wherever they go. They don't even think about anyone's else's welfare but their on. They don't know how much damage their causing to innocent digimon.

Frigimon: They sure don't kid. They destroyed all of the artic parts of the digital world. And my friend Mojyamon....

Veedramon: I saved them both from being destroyed as well. It took us forever to find this place in this city but it was a perfect place to hide from the dark masters.

Me: How come?

Veedramon: This city was already attacked by them. They usually don't show up in places they attacked before.

Ogremon: That's not always true...

Veedramon: Well so fair it's been that way for us.

I look at our digimon who were eating happily away. I hope nothing bad would happen.

*dark masters headquarters*

Piedmon was looking in through a crystal ball. He was staring down at an image of the digidestined named Skylar.

Piedmon: Interesting...so that is where the valley protector hid.

MachineDramon: Do you want me to attack them?

Piedmon: No...I want you to continue attacking the one who is partner with the boy and his Agumon... I will personally send one of my henchmen after these fools...

He look at Skylar closely.

Piedmon: I can smell the doubt from her. She doesn't believe the crest of justice made the right choice. Well I'm going to prove her right by defeating all the people she cares about. And then she will know that she was right.

Piedmon snaps his fingers.

A figure walked into the women.

Female voice: You called master?

Piedmon: Yes I want you to attack those people there.

Female voice: I will be honored lord Piedmon.
