I was sitting on top of my bed. Labramon was bawled up right next to me. I started to pet his head. While I was on my laptop, I was able to type with one hand.

It had been one day sense the lose of Gotsumon and Pumpkinmon but I didn't really let it get to me all that much anymore.

I sighed angrily.

Labramon: What's wrong?

Me: I'm trying to help my friends look for the ninth child but all I can do is run into walls. I can't find any extra information online that can help us.

Labramon was about to say something but the house phone started to ring.

I was about to run over to my phone in my room to pick up. But I heard my mom in the other room pick up.

Mom: Hello Ruby residence.

A few seconds tick by but my mom called out.

Mom: Skylar it's for you. It's your friend Mimi.

Me: Thanks mom.

I picked up my phone and answered.

Me: Hey Mimi. What's up?

Mimi's voice: Hey Skylar I just called because I was wondering if we could have a sleep over.

Me: Sure I would love too. It would be awesome to hang out.

Mimi: Cool see you soon.

Me: Wait! I don't know where you house is.

Mimi: Oh...I guess it would be helpful if I told you that information.

Me: It would be.

I grabbed a notepad and a pen and wrote down the directions to her house.

With that done, Labramon and I were off.

*Thirty minutes later*

I had packed a bag filled with my night clothes and some extra clothes.

Labramon was walking in front of me. He was wearing his dog collar.

Labramon: How much longer?

I look down at the notepad.

Me: Not much longer...I hope...

Labramon: I hope so too.

It took Labramon a few minutes but we finally walked towards Mimi's apartment. We took the elevator up to the second floor and we met up with Mimi.

Mimi waved and she quickly took my bag and threw it in her apartment.

Mimi: Okay, let's get going. Palmon and I were thinking of going to a certain garden. It's a place where Palmon likes to eat.

I nod and Labramon and I followed after her.

Labramon and I sat on a bench with Mimi as Palmon was standing on top of soil, her roots digging into the ground collecting nutrients.

Palmon: Yuck this soil is polluted. (Palmon makes a grossed out face.) Taste like gasoline and old candy wrappers.

Me: Well people in our world, don't really care about where they toss their litter...

Labramon sweatdrops.

Labramon: That's disgusting.

Mimi: (She holds up a bottle of water) I got this bottle of water. Try it, it's fresh and pure just like a winter morning in the south. Or at least that is what it says on the bottle...

I sweatdrop.

Palmon: Okay pour it on my roots.

Mimi smiles and started to pour the water onto the soil.

I started to pet Labramon on top of his head, and look over at the entrance we were at. I could see a man with a brief case started to walk over closer to us.

Palmon smiles as the water sinks into her roots.

Me: (Whispering urgently) Mimi someone is coming.

Mimi: (gasps) Oh

Palmon: Yummy

Mimi quickly covers Palmon with a blanket before the man could see Palmon.

Palmon struggles but Mimi makes her stay put.

Mimi: Oh hush

Man: Mimi is that you? Mimi what are you doing out here?

Mimi acts like she just notice him.

Mimi: Oh hi dad

Mimi's dad: You should be inside.

Mimi: Well you see...Ah...I was just waiting for you. Because I wanted to see if it was okay for my friend Skylar to spend the night.

She grabs my arm with her free hand and pulls me into view.

I waved at her dad.

Me: Hi my name is Skylar Ruby.

I held out my hand for a hand shake and he shake my hand.

Mimi's dad: Nice to meet you, is it okay with your parents?

I nodded.

Me: Yes, and also would it be okay if my dog Oliver comes along?

Mimi's dad looks down at Labramon.

Mimi's dad: Sure I always thought dogs were great pets. But because of my job right now, and my wife and I thinking about moving, we can't get one right now.

He petted Labramon on top of his head.

Mimi's dad: What breed of dog is he?

Mimi and I exchange quick questionable looks. Neither of us knew what to say

Me: He is a Labrador. I got his fur dyed.

Mimi's dad nodded.

Mimi's dad: That is one cool dog you got there.

Mimi sighs and grabs her pink hat and places it on top of the blanket covered Palmon

Mimi laughs half heartily.

Mimi's dad: (confused) Huh?

Mimi holds Palmon close to her, as her father, her and myself started to walk along side each other.

Mimi: So dad...why are you so late anyway?

Mimi's dad: It's this fog. It has everything going nuts...Hey what do you got under your hat there?

Mimi and I exchange looks again. It was her turn to come up with a lie...

Mimi: (face fell) Oh...it's just...a...a (She grabs her dad with her free hand and gets close to him) Burr it's getting cold out here. We better hurry up and get home. Or mom will be worried.

Labramon and I look at one another and smiled.

*At Mimi's house*

Mimi's mom: Hi honey

Mimi's dad: Hello.

Mimi and I ran past them into her room.

(Mimi's room)

Mimi sat at the edge of her bed, while I sat on a chair in the corner of her room. Palmon removes the blanket off of her, while Labramon tries to unhinged the lease and collar from his neck.

Mimi: Sorry Palmon. I could have pretended you were one of my dolls or stuff animals I suppose. But I have a reputation for good taste to maintain.

Palmon: (confused) I'm in bad taste? (Palmon ' s flower drupes) Is that what your saying.

Me: (Whispering) Mimi...

Mimi: Oh Palmon...I didn't mean it that way...Really.

I sighed in relief when Palmon nodded.

Mimi: Hey Skylar.

I look over at Mimi.

Me: What?

Mimi: Who do you think the ninth child is?

I shrugged.

Me: I've tried looking online for hours for clues but I keep on coming to a blank. I hope we can find her or him soon though.

Mimi nods to agree with me.

*At Joe's school*

Joe: I can't believe it...I got a C. (Joe was sitting on a dark staircase.) There goes medical school and my dad wanted me to call right away and tell him the good news...

Gomamon: A C! Forgot about Myotismon. This is a real disaster.

Joe: Your right. Clearly this grade is a result of stress from the monster attacks.

Gomamon: (mumbling) Or it could be you hiding your feelings from someone...

Joe: What was that?

Gomamon: (Chuckling) Nothing

*At Matt's house*

The T.V. was showing static and none of the channels were working.

Matt: Oh no. Give me a break. Come on! (Matt starts to try different positions of trying to get the T.V. to work.)

Gabumon watches Matt like he is crazy.

Matt: Aww man. Right when it was about to get to the good part.

*TV station*

A man puts a coin in a machine and a drink pops out. The man picks up the drink with one hand and pulls out his wallet with the other. Inside the wallet was a picture of him standing next to a women. In front of them was a younger version of Matt and T.K.

The man frowns at the picture.

A tech guy runs by him in the hall.

Matt's Dad: Hey what's going on Harley?

Harley: Your awake. I was just coming to get you. The whole system has gone down. The transmission, satellite feed, the whole deal.

Matt's Dad: What!?

Harley: The system's glitched. This is like the godzilla of all system glitches. We can't even check it out because communications are down to. It's like the end of the world or something.

*Myotismon stands on top of the T.V. station*

The vampire digimon laughs as he waves his arms around.

Myotismon: No one will escape. No one. Not even the ninth child.

He burst into laughter.

*Train station*

Intercom: Due to a system failure. All trains will be delayed indefinitely. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Joe looks around the crowd sadly.

Joe: Pay phones don't work either.

He had just tried putting his card in a pay phone but his card was pushed right back out.

Joe: What's going on? Everything is falling apart.

Joe's bag unzipped and Gomamon face peeked out a little.

Gomamon: It could be worse. We could be stuck on the train.

*T.V. station*

Harley: Everything started going wanky. Ever sense that fog came in.

Random women: Even my cell phone isn't working. Of course it wasn't working before but still. (Matt's Dad grabs his jacket and walks towards the exit) Hey! Where are you going?

Matt's Dad: Turn my pay to investigating this thing. That's what I do after all.

Random women: We will come with you.

The women and Harley begin to walk over.

*Tai and Kari's apartment*

Kari: Hey Tai. Do you think Gatomon is okay?

Tai: Sure she is Kari. First thing tomorrow we will go find her.

Agumon: Don't worry. I think we should all go to bed. We will need our rest to fight Myotismon. Don't want to fall asleep on the job do ya?

Kari: *sighs* okay...

Kari walks over to her bed and crawls into it.

Tai: You scared Kari?

Kari: (covers herself with her blankets) Not really...

Tai: (holds up his digivice) At a girl. Leave everything to me.

*Mimi's house*

Mimi and I were both now wearing our pajamas. Mimi was wearing pink pajamas, while I wore tan colored ones.

Mimi walks out of her room with Palmon. Her mom and dad are sitting on the couch.

Mimi: I'm dying my clothes pink again, and Skylar is going to be helping me.

Mimi quickly pushes Palmon back in her room as her parents look over.

Mimi's mom: Okay.

I sweat drop. Mimi's parents seem easy to fool...

*Matt's house*

Matt: Looks like dad is coming home late again. Something strange is going on...

*Mimi's house*

Mimi and Palmon were snuggled up in Mimi's bed.

While Labramon and I were in a sleeping bag...which happen to be pink. I swear everything in this apartment was pink...right from the floors all the way to the ceiling.

Me: Good night Mimi.

Mimi: Hey Skylar...

I was about to close my eyes, but I open them and stared over at Mimi.

Mimi: Do you think Myotismon will find the ninth child before us?

I thought about this for a second. This thought did cross my mind before and it was definitely something to worry about.

Me: Don't worry about that Mimi. As long as we have hope. You, our friends, and myself can do anything we put our minds too.

Mimi smiled at me.

Palmon nodded.

Palmon: She's right.

Labramon smiled.

Mimi: Well good night Skylar.

Me: Good night Mimi.

In the morning Mimi, and I sat in the living room on the couch. We were watching the news. Labramon was sitting by my feet, while Palmon had to stay in Mimi's room.

The news reporter was talking about how all communications were useless, and the fog was getting worse.

Mimi: Oh this has Myotismon written all over it.

I nodded.

Me: I think your right, I just hope the others are okay...

Mimi: Me too.

*Train station*

Joe stands up from where he was sitting for the past few hours.

Gomamon: Joe where are you going?

Joe: Down to the Pier. Maybe we can get in by boat.

*Mimi's house*

Loud screams were heard outside. Mimi and I quickly exchanged uneasy looks.

Mimi rushes into her room and comes out with Palmon covered in the blanket from yesterday.

I grabbed Labramon and put his collar and lease on. Mimi's parents rushed out from their room.

Mimi's mom: We have to get out of here quickly.

Mimi's dad: (nodding) You two come on. Their was these strange ghost like creature attacking our next door neighbors. Let's get going.

He didn't have to say that again. He open the door and we all rushed out. Mimi's father lead us to an elevator. I then recognized the ghost creatures he was talking about. It was tons of Bakumon everywhere.

We ran into the elevator just in time, the doors closed before any Bakumon got to us.

Labramon look up at me with worry.

Labramon: (whispering quietly) Are you okay?

I nodded.

Mimi's dad: Alright we are all safe now.

Mimi's mom: But honey what are those things.

Mimi and I exchange looks. We both knew the answer, evil digimon were beginning a huge full on attack.

Mimi: It's a long story mom.

Me: We definitely don't have all day to explain it-

The elevator door's open to reveal a lot of Bakumon.

Labramon: Oh great...

We all screamed loudly as the flew in.

*Myotismon flew around the T.V. station*

Myotismon: We will first start off by separating the children from their parents. Oh how they will scream and weep. So delicious.

Gatomon is being lifted into the air with chain cuffs around her paws.

Gatomon: I guess your not as powerful here in the real world as you thought you would be.

Myotismon: Power is not what I cocern myself with if I was you. Especially sense you don't have any you little traitor.

*Mimi and I were sitting in some type of lobbing in the T.V. station with the other people who were kidnap by Bakumon. We decided to sit away from her parents to talk real quick.*

Me: Mimi...I don't see my parents anywhere...

Mimi put a comforting hand on my shoulder.

Mimi: Don't worry Skylar. Maybe they were able to escape the Bakumon.

Me: I hope so...

Mimi: Hey! I think I see Sora over there.

Mimi points out Sora, and both of us walk over to her.

Mimi: Sora it's you.

Me: I am glad to see your okay.

Sora: Oh no Mimi, Skylar they got both of you as well.

Palmon removes the blanket somewhat, and Labramon walks over by my side. Those Bakemon...actually thought Labramon was a dog... I wouldn't question it...because for one it allowed Labramon to be by my side.

Palmon: Psst. I can digivolve any time. Just sat the word.

Labramon: (nodding) I can too. I want to get out of here as soon as possible.

Sora: Their is too many people. And too many of them. (Sora looks at the Bakumon flying around the air.)

Mimi and I hold our digivices close to our chest.

Sora: You two will be our trump card for later.

Palmon: Got it

Labramon: Understood.

Mimi, Sora, and I decided now to sit with Mimi's parents and Tai's parents. Plus these two tech people.

Random women: How can this get worse?

Me: (mumbling) We could be dead...

A random man in a green Dino suit pokes her.

Dino suit: You can work with kids who kick you all day for minimum wage. Right guys.

Two other people wearing costumes nodded.

I sweat drop. Honestly they beat dead....

Mimi's mom stands up and cough.

Mimi: What is it mom?

Mimi's mom: (She holds her hands together and frowns) I just can't stay in this place one second longer.

Mimi's dad: (He stands up as well) Well you been wanting to get away. So think of this as a vacation.

Mimi's mom: (She bawls her fist) Who ask you to talk !? (She then notices Mimi, Sora and I's shocked looks) I'm sorry children. I didn't mean to yell. It's just that I'm not used to being held captive by creatures from another world.

I again sweatdrop at this statement. What person would be used to being held captive by a creature?

Dino suit: Don't worry lady you will get used to it.

Mimi's mom: (starts crying) But I don't want to get used to it. I want to go home and sleep in my own bed. I want to live life to the fullest. I want to clean lint out of my dryers. I want to get a doggie like Skylar's. I want to know what's going on my soup ophra's. (She suddenly stops crying and smiles) I am so glad I got that off my chest.

Jesus...she has so many wants... remind me not to get Mimi's mom upset...

Sora: Enough of this. We need a plan.

Random women: Yeah Jeremiah why don't you listen to us. Instead of listening to mind over matter tapes all the time?

Sora: What did you just say?

I suddenly remembered the story Sora told me. About the time how Devimon separated us. Joe and her landed on an island full of Bakumon, and they used a mind over matter technique to beat them.

Sora: That's it! We need some of you to attack the Bakumon to create a diversion. While the rest of us come up with a mind over matter chant.

Tai's mom: What does that mean?

Tai's dad: Just do what she says alright. (Tai's dad looks around at a few people around us.) Half of you come with me. Let's get them.

They started to attack the Bakumon.

I guess Tai inherited his courage from his father.

Random women: Women and children follow me!

My friends and I along with kids and a few women followed after her.

Tons of Bakumon surrounded us.

Sora: Pump up the volume.

Sora holds up the boom box.

I bawled my fist.

All of us: Bakumon lose your power! Bakumon lose your power! (Tons of the Bakumon landed on the ground) Bakumon lose your power! (We all started to run) Bakumon lose your power!

We made it to the outside world. We all began to cheer.

Mimi's mom: We made it! We're finally safe at last!

A black t-rex like digimon appeared and he was one huge digimon.

Mimi's mom: Opps spoke to soon.

Me: You can say that again...

Labramon: We're in some deep trouble...

Palmon: He's right. That's DarkTyrannomon he was actually a nice guy once until he was taken over by an evil virus. And his personality did a 180.

Mimi's dad runs off.

Mimi's mom: Where are you going?

Mimi's dad starts driving a golf cart.

Mimi's dad: You couldn't be in safer hands.

DarkTyrannomon swipes him away.

Mimi: Dad!

Me: (bawling my fists ) No one messes with my friends or their family .

Mimi's and my digivice let off a light green glow.

Palmon: Palmon digivolve too ...

Togemon: Togemon!

Labramon: Labramon digivolve too ...

Seasarmon : Seasarmon!

Me: Don't stop there!

My crest started to glow gold, along with my digivice.

Seasarmon: Seasarmon digivolve too ...

Cerubumon: Cerubumon!

Togemon: Back to the stone age with you!

Togemon punches DarkTyrannomon

Cerubumon pounces onto his left leg and started to bite down.

Mimi and I ran over to help her father.

Mimi's mom: Honey bunch are you okay?

Mimi's dad gets up.

Mimi's dad: I guess I made a fool out of myself huh?

Mimi's mom hugs him.

Mimi's mom: Don't be ridiculous. That was the bravest thing I ever saw.

Mimi's dad: Really?

Mimi's mom: Really

Mimi's dad: You mean it?

Mimi's mom: I mean it.

I sweat drop. I hope who ever I married, we wouldn't act like this with each other...

Togemon is being lifted up by DarkTyrannomon

Cerubumon: Let her go! Watch out Togemon!

I look at Mimi with cocern, and she caught my drift.

Mimi: Hey mom, dad I hate to ruin this love feast but maybe we should run for cover or something.

DarkTyrannomon slams Togemon to the ground.

Cerubumon: Togemon!

The demon dog pounces at DarkTyrannomon but he slaps him away.

Me: Cerubumon!

Mimi: (gasp) Ohh!!

DarkTyrannomon breathes fire on the cactus digimon.

Mimi: Nooo!!! Togemon (She bawls her fist) It's no use. Save yourself.

I watched as Cerubumon struggled to get up from where he was thrown into some debris.

Togemon: I got it under control. No problem.

Togemon stands up.

Mimi: (whispering to herself aloud) Oh...this is the end. Isn't it Skylar? It's over. Myotismon will rule the world. This This is terrible. Now my family is going to suffer and so are my friends. (Tears started to form in the corner of Mimi's eyes) Their's got to be something I can do.

Me: (Whispering sadly) Mimi...

A tear fell from Mimi's face and Mimi's crest started to glow green.

Mimi: Oh?

Mimi's digivice turned green. A white beam of energy shot out and went through her tag. The crest of sincerity flew into the air, and started to go through purple mist . The crest of sincerity spin a little and broke apart. A white beam of energy started to surrond Togemon.

Togemon: Togemon digivovle too...

White light started to shine from Togemon ' s eyes and mouth. A pink flower grew on top of her head. Pink petals started to fly around in the air. Until a pink flower blossomed in the air and a flower girl like digimon flew out of it.

Lilymon: Lilymon!

DarkTyrannomon backed up when Lilymon showed up in the sky.

Mimi: Where did she come from?

Me: Wow Mimi, you did it?

Mimi: (confused) Did what?

I sweatdrop, did she literally not see Togemon digivovle right now?

Lilymon: Flower cannon!

Mimi: Wow! Who are you?

Lilymon looks behind her.

Lillymon: It's just little Ole me. Or should I say little Ole us. I am Palmon and Togemon too. This is just my fully digivolve form. You can call me Lilymon. I'm I in bad taste?

Lillymon was smiling. I smiled too.

Mimi smiles and shakes her head.

Mimi: No way. I am sorry for ever saying that.

Lilymon: (winks) No biggie.

DarkTyrannomon tries to claw at her.

Lilymon: Whoopsie! You will have to be quicker than that.

Mimi: Be careful.

Lillymon: Your wish to save your family and friends brought me into existence. Mimi your a very special girl. Even though your wardrobe sometimes clashes.

I laughed a little when Lilymon said this. It was so true though.

Mimi: What do you mean?

Lilymon: Later. Right now I have a dinosaur to tame.

Lilymon start to spin around DarkTyrannomon ' s neck. A flower collar appeared on his neck.

Lilymon: My flower wreath countered the evil computer virus. So he will be gentle as a lamp from now on.

DarkTyrannomon smiles and Lilymon patted him on his head.

Lilymon: Nice Tyrannomon. At a boy.

Cerubumon walks over to me. I smiled and got down on my knees and wrapped my arms around his neck.

Me: You were awesome out there Cerubumon.

Cerubumon: (smiles) Thank you Skylar.

*Joe at the pier*

Joe: I should have known. What would make me think the boats would be running when nothing else is.

Gomamon: Could be worse. We could be stuck with crazy-

Joe: Please stop saying it could be worse! I have news for you pal. It is worse. The whole world is stuck in turmoil and we're waiting for a ride into town.

Gomamon: We might as well give up right now.

Joe: Well I wouldn't go that far. After all it could be worse.

Evil laughter was heard from the distance.

Gomamon: Way to go Joe...

Joe: Be quiet

*T.K. is sitting on a train, he was holding Patamon close to him. His mom was right next to him*

*Tai and Kari run by a factory*

Tai is giving Agumon a piggy back ride.

Tai: You okay Agumon?

Agumom: I'll be fine.

Matt: Tai up here!

Tai: Matt is that you?

Tai and his sister walks over.

Tai: Hey we got to talk.

Kari rubs Agumon paw.

Kari: You feel any better?

Agumon: A lot better thanks Kari.

Matt: What!? Your kidding me

Tai: No its true. Kari is the ninth child.

*Mimi and I were still standing in the battlefeild*

I was still hugging Cerubumon, who didn't seem to be against it.

I look over at Mimi as I still hug Cerubumon.

Me: Looks like you finally activated the crest of sincerity.

Mimi smiles and nods.

Mimi: I'm glad that I was able to do so. But I'm suprised we won.

Me: Well it could have been worse.

Myotismon appears in the air.

Cerubumon backed up a little so he could make me stop hugging him. He got in front of Mimi and I. The demon dog started to snarl lowly.

Myotismon: We will see about that. Back to the digital world with you.

DarkTyrannomon disappeared in a mist of black data.

Lilymon: Your such a bad sport.

Myotismon: You little flower child. It's time I pluck your petals. Crimson Lightning.

Cerubumon: Lilymon get out of the way!

Authors note: Sorry for the long wait guys.  I have been working on so many things lately. I have actually finshed writing a book that I am going to publish, and I am working on editing my digimon correction story. I am going to try to post one more chapter tonight as an apology for my laziness.

But I will be out of town for the next 3 days. So their won't be much updating because where I am going, I will not have WiFi, but I will be working on my chapters on my phone. So expect to see a lot of updates on Sunday :3
