I stared around at the apartment buildings I'm Japan. I had no idea where I was or how I was even going to navigate through this place.

I never even went to Japan in my life. I haven't even seen pictures of the place.

Labramon look over at me with a cocern look. The dog collar was still around his neck, the lease in my firm grip.

Labramon:(whispering) Skylar do you know your way around this place?

I slowly look around at people who passed us. Some people didn't really pay attention to what is going around them. I mean seriously Labramon and I appeared out of thin air, and their was no one panicking about that?

I shake my head.

Me: (mumbling) I have no idea where we are...

Labramon sweat drop.

Labramon: Then what are we going to do?

I snapped my fingers and held my digivice. I twirled it in the air and caught.

Me: I have the perfect plan.

Labramon eyes drupe

Labramon: Why do I feel like this is going to fail miserably

I narrowed my eyes at the dog digimon.

Me: Be quiet and try to have some faith in me.

I started to press some random buttons. I remember when I was evil Skylar, that their was a map on my digivice which could locate my friends. But sadly I don't remember how to pull it up.

I groaned angrily and pressed one more button. A map of the area appeared and I gasp happily.

Me: ( Squeling excitedly) See Labramon! I just a map of the area.

Labramon looks down at my digivice and pointed a claw at it. His face was filled with cocern.

Labramon: Yeah but it's no picking up anyone digivices.

I deadpan. This was completely great. That could either two different things. My friends were still trapped in the digital world, or my digivice was acting strange in the human world.

Me: I have run out of ideas.

Labramon: Great...what are we going to do now?

Me: I have no idea...

I walked over to a park bench and sat down. Labramon hop onto the bench and sat down next to me on all fours.

Labramon: I am sorry.

I look over at him with a curious look.

Me: What for?

Labramon: If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have had made the difficult decision you did minutes before. You could have stayed in your world and becomes true friends with Jeremy.

I rolled my eyes.

Me: Labramon, you do realize I care about you right. And just because someone is going to offer me a way out of fighting does not mean I'm going to take it. I stay with my friends till the end.

I petted him on top of his head.

Me: And besides how would you be able to take care of yourself without me?

Labramon narrowed his eyes.

Labramon: Hey!

I giggled at his reaction.

Random women's voice: Huh?

I look up to see a women who had stopped in front of me. She was staring straight at me. She was looking at me like she knew me but she didn't remember all the way.

The women had light hazel hair which was put in a tight bun. And hazel eyes. She wore a button up red shirt, tan jeans and black flip flops.

Unknown women: Ah...do I know you from somewhere?

I shake my head.

Me: I'm sorry, I don't think so.

The women put a finger to her chin.

Women: I feel like I know you from somewhere. Wait a second. Do you know my daughter Sora?

My eyes grew wide.

Me: Wait your Sora's mother?

Sora's mother nodded.

Sora's mother: Yes I am. I didn't even know the Ruby family had a dog.

She pet Labramon on top of his head.

Labramon look a little annoyed by being treated like he was a dog. But in the end, he stick out his tounge and made a pathetic attempt in barking happily like a dog. He sounded like a broken tire losing air...

Sora's mother: He is really cute. What's his name?

My eyes grew wide. Oh great...I'm in trouble.

Me: Ah...Ah...his name?

Labramon gave me a confused look. He was probably wondering why I Won't just say Labramon.

Sora's mother nodded.

Sora's mother: Yes, what is this dog's name?

Oh great...why didn't I come up with a fake dog name. Quick...I have to think of something....quick and clever....something that sounds believable.

Me: His name is...Oliver!...Yeah! His name is Oliver!

I started to pet Labramon quickly.

Me: Who is a good boy? (I grab Labramon cheeks and started to squeeze them together) You are Oliver. Yes you are.

Labramon gave me a look, which pretty much said he wanted to kill me...

Sora's mother sweat drop.

Sora's mother: My daughter has told me how that you entered her science class near the end of the year. She told me you were a funny kid. So is your parents home?

I cringed on the inside. Why is this lady asking me so many questions? Which I have no answer to? What I'm I going to say know? My parents were abducted by alien's? Oh God, I am glad I didn't say that out loud...

Me: Honestly ma'am I have no idea. You see I just got off the camp bus. Camp was canceled due to it snowing.

Sora's mother look surprised by that.

Sora's mother: Wow, that is really surprising. I guess Sora went off to hang out with some of her other friends... (She sighs) She barley spends anymore time with me anymore...

I look at her sadly.

Me: Well I was about to head home. Maybe we could walk there together.

Sora's mother smiled and nodded.

We both walked all the way to the apartment building I guess we live in. I had no idea because I have no memories of living in this universe.

Sora's mother: Thanks for walking with me Skylar.

Me: Your welcome. Have a good day.

She nods and walks off.

I sighed and started to venture around the building. It took me thirty minutes to find it but I finally found a door on the second floor with a plate which read. "Ruby family home" In silver cursive writing.

I guess this was my apartment. I look down to see a Welcome home mat. I moved it a little to see a silver key. I smiled. My parents always kept their keys with them, but they always left a key for me under the mat.

I pick up the key and inserted it into the key whole. I turned the lock and the door open with a light push.

I enter the apartment with Labramon behind me. I locked the door and look around.

The apartment was kind of small. There was a living room which was connected to the kitchen, four bed rooms, one was light pink decorated with posters of fantasy like creatures which I guess was my room.

There was also two bathrooms, which was a relief. On closer inspection in one of the rooms, I noticed that it was decorated like a nursery.

The walls were painted a light blue, even a painting of a delivery stork was on the wall with a bundle of blankets in its beak. On the right side of the room was a baby crib.

I raised my eyebrow.

Me: What is this?

Labramon walked into the room and look at me with an annoyed look.

Labramon: Oliver huh?

He mumbled as he crossed his arms over his chest.

I chuckled a little as I scratch the side of my face uneasily.

Me: I'm sorry Labramon. I couldn't think of a better name.

Labramon: Yeah...I've noticed...but really. The best thing you could come up with...was Oliver...

I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly.

Me: I'm sorry Labramon. Please forgive me.

Labramon nodded.

Labramon: I forgive you

Me: Oh thank you so much-

Labramon held up his paw.

Labramon : I wasn't finshef. I will forgive you if, you give me chicken.

I narrowed my eyes. That dog was starting to get on my nerves...

Labramon: And if you get this dog collar off of me!

I laughed and removed the collar from the dog's neck.

Labramon: Thank you, now all you need to do now is give me chicken.

He holds out his paws.

Me: I don't know if their is chicken in the apartment though...

Labramon sighs sadly.

Me: But I can check.

I walked over to the fridge and open it. The fridge was filled with snacks, and left over foods. I found a box filled with chicken luckily and pop it into the microwave.

After Labramon was finshed licking his paws he look up at me with a smile.

Labramon: Okay now I forgive you.

I sweat drop. Right before I said anything else. The front door of the apartment open and the sound of keys being dropped on a wooden desk was heard.

I look over to the hall to see my mother enter the room.

She saw me and she look surprise. A lot of people say I look like the younger version of my mother. My mom has long orange hair that passed her shoulders. It was always comb nicely and their were never hairs that she would allow to grow wild. Her eyes were a cinnamon brown.

Today my mother wore a blue t-shirt, tan jeans and white sneakers. One thing I noticed about my mother was that her stomach was kind of puffy. Like she was putting on some weight.

Me: Hey mom.

Mom: Skylar. Why are you doing home from camp so early.

My mom rushed over to me and gave me a hug. I smiled and return her hug. I haven't seen her in forever, and I was just glad that she was still my mom in this universe.

Me: Camp was canceled because it had snowed.

Mom: I had heard from one of my coworkers at work about it snowing. But you know I thought they were making it up. I mean it is the start of summer.

My mother and I stopped hugging.

Me: Yep I am home again...and mom. Why did you and dad make a nursery?

My mom sighed a little. She look a little sad that I knew.

Mom: Oh honey, your father and I wanted to surprise you.

Me: Suprise me about what?

My mom grabbed my hands and smiled.

Mom: Your going to be having a baby brother or sister soon.

My eyes grew wide. Soon I was going to be having my very own sibling. I always wanted a sibling, I didn't really like being an only child.

Me: Mom that's great. I can't wait to have a brother or sister.

My mom smiled but it turn into a frown as she saw Labramon.

Mom: Skylar why is there a dog in the apartment?

Oh no...my mom was allergic to dogs... and if she thinks that he was truly a dog....she would possibly want to kick him out...

Mom: Skylar why did you bring a dog in the apartment...you know I'm allergic.

Me: Mom...Oliver is a dog that was gentically made by scientists. Oliver isn't like any other dog, you won't get any allergic reactions to it.

Mom: Really?

My mom look a little worried but she rested her hand on top of Labramon's head. She look a little suprised.

Mom: Wow I never touch a dog like this before. Well Oliver welcome to the Ruby family.

My mom smiled at Labramon.

Labramon wagged his tail.

Me: Well mom. I am going to go into my room.

She smiled and nodded. Labramon followed after me into my room. He jump onto my bed and curled up. He rested his head on his back and closed his eyes.

I walked over to a work desk in my room and open up my laptop. I am glad that my room is still set up similar to my old room.

I open my laptop and open the Internet. The news pop up. So far from looking at all of it. Their has been strange creature sightings lately, and technology has been messing up.

Me: (growling) So I guess Myotismon and his goons are in the human world after all. I have to find the ninth child. Where could they be?

I groaned and place my hand over my forehead.

Me: Great with my luck, Myotismon will find the ninth child before I do. If only the others were back...

Their was a knock at the front door.

I heard it open and my mom's voice.

Mom: Oh you must be Sora. Don't you live near the end of the hall?

My eyes grew wide. Sora was back in the real world, and that means if Sora was here, that the others had return to the human world as well.

Sora: Yes I am. Mrs Ruby would it be okay if I come on in. I really would like to be speak with Skylar.

Mom: Sure thing. And also what a cute little toy you got there.

I peek out of my room.

Me: Hi Sora.

Sora nods and walks over to my room and walks inside.

Sora sees Labramon curled up on my bed and she decides to sit in a wooden chair with Yokomon in her arms.

Me: Sora I am sorry for everything that happen.

Sora face was emotionless before but it turn to sadness.

Sora: Skylar I am not mad. I kind of realize how much it must have been for you. The darkness that surronded you and controlled you.

Me: Yeah but I should have tried to fight back agasint it.

Sora got out of her chair and placed a hand on my shoulder.

Sora: Skylar we all face darkness in ourselfs, but it's up to us to face them. And it's also up to our friends to help us. I should have realized before that you were under control but I allowed my anger to get to me.

Me: I am sorry.

Sora: I'm sorry too.

Sora and I smiled at one another and we both hugged. It was great that Sora and I were friends again. Sora was a nice person, and I was hoping that we could be friends again.

Me: So are the others back in the human world as well.

Sora nods and laugh.

Sora: They sure are. You missed so much Skylar. You miss Joe and Izzy dancing trying to get attention of a taxi.

I burst into laughter. Tears were streaming down my face.

Me: I guess I have missed a lot. Darn I wish I was there to see them both doing that.

Sora starts telling me how her and the others were able to return, what they discovered about being chosen to be digidestined, and how they were able to return to their hometown after taking the subway train to the wrong location.

I was glad that Sora was talking to me. I was worried that she was going to say that she hated my guts, but I am just glad that I was wrong.

Labramon and Yokomon watch us with happy grins on their faces.
