Paomon: This is strange. If we just left your world? How can we be back here?

I shrugged.

Me: I have no idea Paomon... it's really weird. I thought we would be at least in my friends home town but...looks like I was wrong.

I held Paomon close to me as we walked through the empty park. I was surprised that the party that was held ealier didn't cause so much litter. Usually parties held at this park gets out a hand.

I walked over to a poster that hang on a poll. It was strange at first I thought it was going to be another poster of myself. Of have you seen me? But I was wrong... the poster was of a fair that was coming soon.

Today's date was underneath the poster. August 12th...the day I left from this world to go to my friends world...

Did I travel back in time?

Paomon: What's wrong Skylar?

I shook my head.

Me: Not only are we still in my world Paomon but I think we traveled back in time...

Paomon look confused. He look like he was dizzy just from thinking about it.

Paomon: Being a digidestined's digimon really makes life confusing.

I poke him in his cheek and smiled at him.

Me: (Teasing) Hey I didn't force you to be my digimon partner.

Suddenly a thought hit me. It was about the day I left...the sound of a twig snapping behind me...the shadow on the roof...feeling like I was being chased all the way back to my neighborhood...the gold light...

Me: Paomon I think I know why were here...

Paomon look up at me with confusion completely plastered on his face.

Paomon: What do you mean? Why do you think we're here?

I sighed, I didn't know if I was exactly right. But I felt like I knew the answer. I held Paomon close to my chest

Paomon: Where are we going Skylar?

I smiled down at him.

Me: I'm going home.

Paomon look at me with a confused look.

Paomon: Weren't we just there? Wasn't it closed up. Why would we head over there. If it's locked tight?

I patted him on top of his head.

Me: Because I think I have a theory.

I noticed a jogger starting to look at me. She was a middle age women and she was giving me a strange look. She must have thought Paomon was a stuff animal and must have believe I was completely strange.

Hell, if I was in her position I would have probably have thought the same thing. I shrug off the thought that she believing I was a strange person.

I didn't like being normal any was. Where was the fun in that?

I had just walked out of the park and started to walk down the sidewalk. I look at the cars that passed us.

Paomon: Boy their is definitely a lot of different species on Earth. Some that could even move really fast.

Paomon must have meant the cars that was zooming past us. He could have believe that they were some type of creature.

I laughed and patted him on top of his head.

Me: (Chuckling) Paomon those are cars. They are machines, they aren't creatures. They aren't alive, humans just use them to get to further distances quicker.

Paomon look confused. He look up at me with curiosity.

Paomon: Skylar I don't get it. Why would humans ride in those machines? What's wrong with walking or running to places? Digimon do it all the time.

I sighed I have thought about that before. It would have been easier if we just made cities smaller and made stores easier to people's homes instead of making them so far away.

Me: I guess that's the way it's always been in the modern age. You see humans have built cities in different ways to get people to come to their stores.

Paomon raised his eyebrow again. He still look like he was having a hard time to progress what I was trying to tell him. So I decided to continue.

Me: You see some builders thought it would be a good idea to build homes far away from stores. This would get people to buy cars so they can get to those far areas.

Paomon nodded.

Paomon: Oh I think I get it now... but I still think it would be easier just to walk or run.

I patted him on his head and continue on my way home. I took the short cut through the woods and in minutes I was in front of my house. Where the battle aginst Neodevimon just occurred.

The only major detail was their was no sign of battle what so ever and their was no foreclosure sign in the front yard.

Paomon: (mumbling) That's strange...it's like someone clean up all the mess... Skylar what is happening. It's so weird...

I patted him on the head again.

Me: I think I might have a good idea what is going on but I just want to make sure before I tell you.

Paomon: Okay

I walked up to my front door and smiled. A small welcome sign was hanging on the door. It said "Welcome to the Ruby family home." Three smiling faces were shown of my father, my mother and myself.

I had made the sign last year. I smiled and look down at my feet where a welcome mat was in front of the door. I moved the mat a little and picked up a bronze key. I put the key in the lock and unlocked the door.

I open the door and walked inside my house. When I walked inside, I was instantly surprise how different it look to me. I haven't been home for ages.

The front entrance was small. A small wooden desk was next to the front door. On the desk was a blue vase with a rose inside.

I walked past the front entrance and went into the living room, which was also connected to our kitchen.

I look around the room. But it was mostly Paomon who was interested in the whole place. The small dog was sniffing the air.

Paomon: This place is weird...

I rolled my eyes. He didn't know the definition of weird, if he thought my house was weird...the digital world was ten times weirded than my home.

Paomon hop out of my hands and hop over to a couch.

Paomon: Hey Skylar what's this?

I chuckled.

Me: That's a couch, you sit on it.

Paomon gave me a curious look, and I gesture for him to sit on it.

Paomon hop onto the couch and instantly got a relax look on his face.

Paomon: This couch is very soft.

I smiled and walked over to the fridge. I could hear Paomon moving around behind me. I decided to ignore it. On the fridge was a calendar which I decided to look at.

The strange part was...the date that was circle...was the date that I was taken to the digital world... I had traveled back in time.

I decided to push that thought to the back of my head. I open my fridge up and took out a coke. I open it and took a swig. I smiled at the cool taste of the refreshing drink. They didn't have anything like this in the digital world.

I started to explore my fridge for anything, that I thought could be edible for Paomon.

Paomon: I wonder what this is.

I heard Paomon jump off the couch and onto the glass coffee table, I gritted my teeth in fear that the table would shatter.

Me: Hey! Paomon could you try being careful. You could have broke that.

Paomon voice came back in a whimper.

Paomon: Sorry Skylar...

I sighed and look through the fridge. So let me see...their was left over pizza, lasagna, chicken, spaghetti and meatballs, salad and some pork.

I was starting to debate which I should offer to my digimon partner.

Paomon seem to have move again. Paomon gasp in surprise, at the same time as the T.V. behind me turn on. He must have found the remote and press the on button....

The sound of the weather women filled my ears. "Well Jim, it looks like it's going to be another sunny day. It doesn't even seem like we're going to get anymore rain until next week."

Paomon gave out a terrified whimper.

Paomon: Skylar their is someone trap in this magical box of yours! And their telling the weather. Should I be worried... and who is this Jim guy???

I laughed and shook my head. I pulled out the left over chicken.

Me: Don't worry Paomon. That's another human invention called a television. You see, it could be used to show things from other places in the world. People use it to see about the weather, the news and even watch it for entertainment.

Paomon: Oh...I think I get it...

I put the chicken on a paper plate, and put it on the microwave. I set the timer to twenty seconds, and with that clicked start.

The sound of it starting caused Paomon to jump in fright.

Paomon: What's that???

I smiled and walked over to him. I softly patted him on his forehead.

Me: It's called a microwave. It heats up food, I'm making you some food. So their is no need to worry.

Paomon smiled.

Paomon: Okay.

I sat him back on the couch, and picked up the remote.

Me: I don't think you want to watch the news all the time.

I changed the channel to Fox, and the Simpsons show came on. Bart was dressed up like a ninja, and had sneak out of his room.

Paomon laughed at the joke that Bart had said and continue watching the show.

I laughed along and heard the microwave. I walked over to it and took the food out. I walked back over to Paomon and gave him the food.

Paomon ate the food happily.

Paomon : Thank you Skylar.

I smiled.

Me: Of course Paomon.

I patted him on top of his head and he started to eat happily.

Me: I'm going to do something real quick. Stay put, and don't wreck anything.

Paomon nodded and continue eating. He would look back and forth between his food and the T.V.

I walked off to my room and walked over to my bed side. Where a saw my plug in phone. I picked up the recivier, and held it up to my ear. I dailed my mother's number.

It took two rings but my mom picked up.

Mom: Hello, Samuel is that you? Wow your home early. Did you get off work?

I coughed and took a deep breath.

Me: Hey mom...

Mom: Skylar! What are you doing home so early? It's only one in the afternoon. Did you stay home all day? Are you sick? Are you hurt?

I felt a tear streamed down my face.

Me: No I'm okay mom. I just decided to stay home today...

It took a while for my mom to answer.

Mom: Baby are you okay? Is someone bullying you at school.

I shake my head.

Me: No... (I knew I lied...but that wasn't what was going on at the moment) I just stayed home because I had a sickening feeling...

Mom: Oh honey...when I get home I will make you some soup.

I smiled and felt another tear streamed down my face.

Me: Hey mom...I know this is a weird question...but let's just say hypethically. I was sent to another world to save it. And if I go there...their would be no way for me to come back.... what would you do?

My mom chuckled.

Mom: What T.V. show are you watching? Are you watching digimon again?

I smiled and nodded. It was somewhat true but...I was actually in it now.

Me: I love you mom...

Another tear streamed down my face.

Mom: I love you too Skylar.

I don't know what Jeremy said about my parents were true. What happens in the other world...I would have different parents...but in this world now...my parents never had me...

I don't want to think so depressed like that...but I thought it would be better if I just called my mom, and told her I love her and goodbye.

I hang up the recivier back into its cradle. And wrapped my hand around my tag. And I almost cried...I didn't want that to be the last time I talked to my mother.

I dried my tears with the back of my left hand. And smiled I didn't want Paomon to be worried.

I walked out of my room for possibly the last time...

I walked out into the living room to see Paomon had digivolve back into Labramon. The dog digimon was licking his paws for any remains of chicken.

Me: So I guess you like the chicken.

Labramon nodded.

Labramon: It was very delicious. Can I have anymore?

The dog put up his paws in a pleading manner.

Me: Sorry buddy. But not at this time. I want to see something...

Labramon raised his eyebrow.

Labramon: What do you want to try?

I turned off the T.V. Labramon gasp.

Labramon: Hey I was watching the Simpsons! I wanted to now if Bart and Lisa will be able to get back their cat Snowball back.

I rolled my eyes.

Me: I want to go up to my school.

Labramon gave me a confused look.

Labramon: What's a school?

I deadpan...it was so unfair...he didn't have to go to school...

Me: A school is a place where you learn basic things that can help you with things on Earth.

Labramon nodded but he didn't look like he got it all the way.

I walked into my parents room, with Labramon trailing behind him. I reached into a drawer and pulled out a black dog collar and a lease.

Labramon: What's that for?

Me: It's for you. You have to act like a dog while we walk around. This goes around your neck. And you will have to walk on fours.

Labramon: (Snarling as he bares his fangs) That thing will not go on me...

I raised an eyebrow .

Me: So I guess we will have to play it the tough way.

I rolled up my sleeves.

*one hour later*

Labramon and I were up at the school now. The dog collar and lease was around Labramon neck. The dog was on all fours and he was trying to bite the lease.

Me: Hey...stop acting stupid.

Labramon: I can't believe you tackled me to put this on me...

I look over at my school. It was around the time I left the school. I notice a few of the cars I saw when I left. I wonder what was the strange creature I saw when I was sent to the digital world...maybe I would never now.

I gasp when I saw myself walk out of the school. My past self had a smile on her face. She had both of her hands holding onto the straps of her backpack.

Labramon eyes grew wide

Labramon: Skylar is that you!?!?

Me: I knew it...we traveled back in time. Back to the day that I was sent into the digital world.

Labramon and I watched my past self walking up to the sidewalk we were on. The two of us rushed into some shrubbery and hid.

My past self got onto the trail and started to walk towards us.

It was strange...I remembered hearing a twig snap...but I don't see anything...that would have caused it.

The past me walked past us. I stepped back in surprise when I saw the past me walked past us.

I stepped on a twig and it snap in half.

The past me look back quickly. She was staring around trying to look for the cause of the noise. She shrugged and walked away.

My eyes grew wide now... oh my gosh. Their was another me that day... and she was the one to cause the twig to snap...and that would mean!

Me: Come on Labramon let's follow her.

Labramon gave me a confused look but he followed after me anyways.

I took him on a back path that I would never take after school. Mostly because of school bullies that hang out there, instead of going to school. They would like to talk and play football.

Luckily for me, they weren't there today. I cut through the sandy football feild, and headed into town. I saw the store where I saw the creature the first time.

I bend down a little.

Me: Labramon get on my back.

Labramon hop onto my back and I started to climb the ladder that hung on the side of the building. When I reached the top. I pointed to the edge of the building roof.

Me: Labramon sit there.

Labramon once more gave me a confused look but he walked over there and sat down. He started to people watch.

I look over to the right of the crowd. I saw my past self walking through the people. She was coming up to the crosswalk.

The past me got to the crosswalk and stared at the screen on the opposite side of the street which had a stop sign on it. She was waiting for it to show that it was safe to walk.

The past me shivered, an slowly turn around to look up on top of the building. I saw her eyes grow wide as she saw Labramon on top of the building. She quickly look away and started to rub her eyes.

Me: Labramon come here.

Labramon ran over to me.

Labramon: Skylar, the past you saw me. Is that bad?

I shake my head. I saw the past me look up back at the building. She was looking for any sign of Labramon. The past me shrugged and turn around and noticed that it was safe to walk. She started to walk across the street.

I got down on my knees.

Me: Come on get back on my back Labramon.

Labramon nodded and hop onto my back.

I climbed down the ladder quickly. I was lucky enough to get across the street before the machine said it was unsafe to cross the street.

I continue running and saw myself slowly walking to her neighborhood.

I pointed at her.

Me: Labramon listen to me. I know this might sound strange. But I want you to walk after her. If she turns around and sees you. I want you to chase after her.

Labramon: Okay....whatever you want.

I hid behind a tree and watch as Labramon speed walk to catch up to the past me.

I was surprised that Labramon was able to step over all the twigs and leaves on the sidewalk. I mean, the whole sidewalk is covered in them.

He better step on one soon. I was supposed to hear one snap, and then see him and run away.

The past me was about two feet away from the entrance of her neighborhood.

I noticed Labramon step on a twig.

The past me stopped walking and slowly turn her head. I saw her eyes grew wide, when she saw Labramon. But in her eyes, all she would see is a shadow like creature.

She started to run full speed away from Labramon. She was heading straight towards the woods. Labramon was running after her. He was on all fours.

I smiled and ran after the two of them. It took me a good five minutes to get to the woods.

I saw my past self holding up a branch as she face off with Labramon.

Past self: Stay away! Or I will attack!

I slowly started to walk up behind her.

I had to sneak up on her.

Labramon started to inch foward towards the girl.

The past me held up the branch higher, getting ready to strike my digimon.

I quicken my pace and step on a branch. I saw my past self go rigid. She heard me...

She slowly started to turn her towards me.

I grabbed my tag and held it out in front of me.

Me: (Whispering) Crest of justice.

My crest started to glow dark gold.

The past me turned around quickly and she covered her eyes as she started to scream loudly. The light from my crest must be really bright. She dropped the branch she was holding as a weapon and she slowly faded away in data particles.

Labramon look at me in surprise.

Labramon: What did you do to yourself?

Me: I did the same thing that happen to me. I know how I was sent to the other world. It was because of another me.

Labramon eyes grew wide.

Labramon: So everything we did today happen before to another you?

I nodded. Labramon look completely shocked.

Labramon: So that means their was another me. Helping the other you out.

I nodded again. I felt a buzz in my pocket. I pulled out my digivice and saw a message.

Dear, Skylar
You have solved the mystery of how you were sent to your friend's world. You have became a very good digidestined, and you are the greatest candidate for the crest of justice.

But I have to inform you of some bad news... you have two choices at the moment. The first choice is that you can stay in your universe. You can grow old here and try to make new friends with everything you learn about in the digital world. But sadly Labramon will have to return to the digital world...

If you stay in your universe...you will slowly start to forget all of your adventures in the other universe, and even Labramon.

My eyes grew wide when I read this. I didn't want to forget about my adventures...

*I went back to reading*

The second choice is that you can go back to the other universe. But be warn, because of you being there. Their is different changes that have occurred because of you. It will Defiently be different from the T.V show you watch.

If you go back, you will still be able to go on adventures with your friends and Labramon. And don't worry about your parents and or your family. What ever you decided they will be traveled there with you.

But the down fail about this option is. You will slowly start forgetting your memories of living in this universe. Which will be replace with memories of you living in the other universe your entire life. You will also not be able to return to your original universe.

Me: Wow... I have a big choice to make.

Labramon raised an eyebrow.

Labramon: What choice?

I gave him my digivice and he started to read the message. Tears started to streamed down his face.

Labramon: (Whispering sadly) It's your call Skylar...whatever you decide...it will be okay with me.

I felt heartbroken...i didn't know what to do. If I went back, I could stay with Labramon, my new friends, and my family would even be there.

But if I went...I would break my promise with Jeremy. I told him that I would come back.

I took a deep breath and hug Labramon.

Labramon hugged me back.

Me: I'm going back with you.

Labramon broke the hug. He had tears in his eyes.

Labramon: Are you sure? You don't want to stay here?

I shake my head.

Me: Labramon you are the greatest friend I ever had. I don't want to lose you.

Labramon smiled and hugged me.

I felt another buzz from my digivice and saw the portal button. I smiled and clicked it.

A portal open up in front of Labramon and i.

Labramon: Let's do this.

I nodded and patted him on the head.

We both walked through the portal and thankfully we didn't end up back in the park. We were in a place I didn't even recognize. Their were people walking all around me.

Their were white apartment buildings in the area I was in.

Me: I think we're in Japan

Hey guys sorry for not updating in a long time. But I was just trying to get done with school and finals.

I even on track in actually getting act book published.

Now that I am out of school. I will have lot of free time, so expect to see more Skylar scripts :3
