Evil Skylar walked through the halls of the castle.

Labramon followed closely behind her. The dog had his fangs barred. He wanted to do something but what could he do?

The crest of justice was completely covered in mold. And that would mean that the real Skylar was completely gone...

Labramon felt tears stream down his face. He didn't want to cry. But he couldn't help it. Someone he cared about was gone out of his life... he would never see Skylar as the way she once was ever again...

He started to cry loudly. His shoulder bobbing as he wept. Evil Skylar didn't pay attention to him. In fact she just completely walked away from him all together.

Labramon didn't care he sat on the cold hard floor and covered his eyes with his paws and kept on sobbing. He wanted the Skylar he cared about back.

Labramon: (Sobbing) Skylar...

Just then he heard footsteps coming towards him.

Random female voice: What are you doing up here? You know Myotismon doesn't like solders in the castle!

Labramon removed his paws from his face to see Gatomon.

Labramon eyes grew wide when he saw the cat champion in front of him. So did the cat's

Labramon: Gatomon is that you.

Gatomon: I never thought I saw you again...where is Skylar?

Labramon: (sighing) I failed her...

Gatomon eyes grew wide.

Gatomon: Did she die?

He shake his head.

Labramon: No you see Demidevimon threw a dart at Skylar which contain a spell. The spell allowed Myotismon to control her. She is still under control right now and was forced to attack her friends.

Gatomon eyes grew wider.

Gatomon: That's terrible, but if Myotismon used a spell. I think we can ask one of my friends.

Labramon raised an eyebrow.

Labramon: Who are you going to ask?

Gatomon gestured for him to follow.

Gatomon: First we need to find Skylar.

The cat digimon started to walk through the halls of the castle. Labramon followed after her.

Gatomon was walking until she stopped when she saw Evil Skylar sitting on a her sitting on the ground.

The girl was eating a slice of bread. She look at the cat and sneered.

Evil Skylar: What are you looking at.

Gatomon turned to look at Labramon.

Gatomon: You weren't kidding. This is definitely not the real Skylar...

Labramon nodded sadly.

Gatomon coughed and said.

Gatomon: Myotismon wants to talk to you Skylar. So you are supposed to follow me.

Evil Skylar shrugged and threw what left of the slice of bread she had left on the ground.

Gatomon walked off, with Labramon and Evil Skylar walking after her.

The cat led them through a long spiraling hallway. The walls were covered with pictures of bats flying around in the night.

Evil Skylar seem to smile at each picture as she walked past.

Gatomon slowed down just enough for Labramon to talk to her.

Gatomon: You know Myotismon use to fear her.

Labramon raised an eyebrow

Labramon: Why?

Gatomon sighed.

Gatomon: You see, he had found a crest. Called the crest of light. He thought Skylar was going to be the bearer of light, but it turn out she is the bearer of justice.

Labramon sighed sadly.

Labramon: But I don't think it will ever work...

Gatomon was the one to raise her eyebrow this time.

Gatomon: Why wouldn't it work?

Labramon pointed at Skylar ' s tag.

Labramon: Myotismon said due to Skylar ' s Evil deeds the crest started to reject her. And now that it's completely covered in mold. I don't think it will ever work.

Gatomon patted him on the shoulder.

Gatomon: I am so sorry Labramon.

Labramon ears drop.

Labramon: It's okay. I guess I will just continue fighting as Seasarmon...

Gatomon led them down a staircase now. The staircase was lit by torches. The flames inside the tourches was bright and beautiful.

Gatomon walked down a hall now and stopped at the fifth door on the right. On the door was a shrunken head.

Gatomon knocked on the door.

Unknown male voice: Who's there?

Gatomon: It's me Wizardmon

A rustling sound came from the inside.

Wizardmon: One second.

A lock from the inside was heard unlocking and with that the door was open to show a Wizardmon.

Gatomon pushed Evil Skylar in the room.

Evil Skylar tried to get away from her grasp but the cat was to strong.

Gatomon pushed her into a chair and put some arm restraints and legs restraints on her.

Evil Skylar: What is the meaning for this?! If Myotismon finds about this! He will be ferocious!

Labramon walked over to Gatomon.

Labramon: What is the chair supposed to do?

Gatomon: Nothing but to hold her down.

Wizardmon: (coughing) Gatomon what is the meaning of this. Why is there a digidestined here.

Gatomon turned to face Wizardmon.

Gatomon: Do you remember the controlling spell that Myotismon wanted?

Wizardmon nodded.

Gatomon: The spell was used on her.

Wizardmon's eyes grew.

Wizardmon: That's terrible.

He turned to face Labramon

Wizardmon: Does she have a crest.

Labramon: Yes but-

Wizardmon quickly checks her tag and frowns as he sees the mold that covered her crest.

Wizardmon: Its...it's way to late...

Labramon felt tears beginning to form in his eyes again. Skylar was gone...the Skylar he once cared about. The one he would protect no matter what. Was out of his life.

Gatomon shake her head slowly.

Gatomon: Are you sure there is no other way to break her out of the spell.

Wizardmon slowly started to shake his head no but stop.

Wizardmon: There is another way. If someone can led her out of the darkness. She will be able to break free from the spell. But it's dangerous-

Labramon look up

Labramon: How do I do it?

Wizardmon: It's really dangerous, I really wouldn't suggest-

Labramon hop up to his feet and bawled his fists.

Labramon: I don't care if I flipping die. I want to help my friend. Now tell me how I can break her free.

Wizardmon didn't answer at first. Gatomon put a paw on the digimon shoulder. And Wizardmon finally sighed.

Wizardmon: You must enter into her mind. Once there you must navigate through the darkness inside her heart and find the true Skylar. If there is even any left of her....

Labramon clapped his paws together.

Labramon: Okay put me in there.

Wizardmon held up a glove hand.

Wizardmon: Wait to warn you. If you stay in there long enough. The spell will soon take a hold on you. And the spell I designed was made for humans. If I gets on contact on a digimon, that digimon will die slowly and never be reborn in primary village.

Labramon stayed quite for a long time. He look over to Evil Skylar who was struggling in her seat.

Labramon rested a paw on her shoulder..

Labramon: Skylar is my friend and she would do the same for me if it was the other way around. I don't care if I could die. I am going to break her out of this.

Wizardmon nodded

Wizardmon: Keep your paw on her shoulder and close your eyes. When this happens I will cast a spell on you. Which will allow you to enter her heart.

Labramon nodded.

Gatomon walked over to Labramon.

Gatomon: Good luck and try to bring her back.

With that Gatomon gave the dog digimon a quick hug and walked over to the side.

Labramon put his hand on evil Skylar ' s shoulder and closed his eyes.

Wizardmon: (chanting) One with the mind, one with the heart. One with the mind, one with the heart. One with the mind, one with the heart-

Labramon then notice Wizardmon's voice started to fade. Labramon slowly started to open his eyes to see he was in emptiness.

Darkness surronded him from all sides.

Labramon: (He covered his mouth with his paws) Skylar! Are you out there!?

There was no answer. Labramon started to swim around the darkness. Looking for any sign of his friend. He just hope he wasn't to late.

Labramon shouted once more.

Labramon: Skylar!

There was still no answer.

When Labramon feared the worst. He would push it out of his mind and continue searching. He wasn't going to give up on his friend.

Labramon: Skylar!

Just then he heard sounds of sobbing.

Labramon look down to the sound of crying. To see a small peice of light. He started to swim towards the light.

Labramon: Skylar!

When Labramon reached the light. He saw Skylar sitting in the center of the light. She had her face in her lap, and she was crying uncontrably.

Labramon: Skylar...?

Me: Leave me alone...

Labramon put a paw on her.

Labramon: Skylar please...

I look up sadly. Tears stream down my face.

Me: Labramon I have tried everything and there is nothing I can do. I am trapped....soon I will be no more...

Labramon shake his head.

Labramon: You are not going to quit on me like that.

Me: Why not...? No one cares about me at all. Not my friends...

Labramon put his paw on my shoulder once more.

Labramon: Skylar, your friends do care. When I escaped the evil version of you. They all were trying to think of a way to help you out. Also I think Joe has a crush on you.

I look up hopefully for a second.

Me: Really...?

Labramon nodded

I started to draw circles in the light with my finger.

Me: It doesn't matter anyway. There is nothing I can do. I have tried to fight my way out of the darkness before. But I keep on being forced away. This is the only spot of my heart open.

Labramon shrugged and sat down next to me.

Labramon: Fine then.

He put his arms around his chest.

Me: What are you doing Labramon?

Labramon shrugged.

Labramon: You see I came in your heart to free you. The only catch is if I try to break you out and fail. Then I will die...

Me: But you don't have to worry about dying...you will be reborn in primary village.

Labramon shake his head.

Labramon: Nope, you see the person who made the spell. Made it for humans, if the spell got on contact which it is doing now. If I don't get out with you successfully I will die and won't be reborn in primary village.

I let out a whimper.

Me: Labramon...i don't want you to die.

Labramon look at me with a determine face.

Labramon: Then try to break out.

Me: (sobbing) But I cant...

Labramon: Can't never could

Me:(sobbing) Labramon cab you please help me?

Labramon smiled and open his arms up.

I sobbed a little and wrapped my arms around him. I missed hugging him. It brought warmth to my heart.

Labramon rested his head on top of mine.

Labramon: (softly) I will always be there for you Skylar. Of course I will help you.

I close my eyes and slowly started to concentrate.

I want my body back! I want my life back! I wanted to be free again! I want to do what ever I wanted! I even wanted to give Joe a Skylar slap!

Labramon: Skylar keep on going. It's working. Light is starting to spread through your heart. The darkness is retreating.

I felt tears stream down my face.

I want to see my parents again! I want my mom to hug me and for us to do something together! I wanted my dad to play baseball with me! I wanted to be with them!

Labramon softly rubbed his paw through my hair.

Labramon: You are almost there skylar. I think you just have to give it one more push. I now you can do it.

I hugged Labramon tighter.

I wanted Labramon back! I wanted to run around! I want to have my friends back! I want to be free!

Suddenly I fell unconcous and everything in my mind went black.

A few minutes ticked by and I felt a soft paw on my face.

Labramon's voice: Skylar?

I slowly open my eyes. To find myself strapped in a chair. I even notice Gatomon standing near the wall. The cat digimon was looking at me hopefully and a unknown digimon that look like a wizard.

I felt tears beginning to form in my eyes. I started to sob in front of them.

Labramon quickly started to unstrap my restraints. He quickly wrapped his arms around me when I was free from the chair. I wrapped my arms around the dog and continue to cry.

Me: I...I...I have done...done so many terrible things.

Labramon patted me on the back.

Labramon: Don't cry.

I continue to sob.

Me:(Sobbing) I hurt Tai...Matt...Sora
..Izzy...Mimi...T.K..and even Joe...not to mentioned i hurt you Labramon.

Gatomon: That wasn't you Skylar and you now it.

I gasped for air. And hiccup a little.

Me: Yeah but I should have tried my hardiest to break free on my own.

Labramon rubbed my back.

Labramon: You can always fight back Skylar. I believe in you.

I smiled and look down at my tag. The crest of justice was completely covered in mold.

Me: My crest...

Wizardmon: Sadly...your crest will never work...

Me: Oh....(I look over at Labramon ) I am so sorry Labramon. (I started to sob again) I...I knew...knew how much you wanted to digivovle to ultimate.

Labramon hushed me and hugged me once more.

Gatomon: Skylar we need to report to Myotismon. When we go visit him, you need to act like your evil self.

I nodded slowly and wipe my tears away.

Me: Okay let's go.

(Myotismon room)

Myotismon: Come in.

Demidevimon: Myotismon, I have some good news to report. The soldiers are assembled and we're ready to move out.

Myotismon: Are they worthy of me?

Demidevimon: Yes, my master.

Gatomon walks in. Accompany by Me and Labramon who was acting depressed. The dog was acting like I was still evil.

Gatomon: (Laughs)

Me: What did that idiot do now?

Demidevimon: Hey.

Gatomon: They're a bunch of helpless sea slugs if you want my opinion.

I nodded to agree with her.

Me: I bet even a puppy would be stronger then them.

Demidevimon: Who are you?

Gatomon: Greetings, little blue one.

Demidevimon: Huh?

Gatomon: Just where did you manage to find that group of goof balls, anyway?

Demidevimon: Err! You could do better? Err!

Gatomon: With my paws tied.

Me: I could even do better with my eyes blindfolded.

Myotismon: Gatomon, don't waste your time on him. Have you done what I've asked of you?

Demidevimon: Huh?

Gatomon: Yes. Per your instructions, I searched everywhere and found the most ferocious Digimon I could find. You'll be very pleased.

Myotismon: I knew I could trust you, Gatomon. I look forward to meeting them.

Gatomon: Thanks

Demidevimon: Err!

Bakemon 1: (Growls)

Myotismon: What is it?

Bakemon 1: We prepared the room and it's ready for your inspection.

Myotismon: Fine, the three of you are dismissed.

Gatomon, Demidevimon and I: Right.

I stared at oak brown doors that stood before all of us.

Bakemon 2: Huh? Oh.

Myotismon: (Laughs)

Bakemon 1: Uh, if you don't mind my asking, sir, what is this room for?

Myotismon: Legends tell of this hollow gate. It is the passageway that will take us forward to the other world. When we pass through this portal, we'll be free to infiltrate the human realm.

Myotismon: I'm ready to proceed. Go now and tell our forces that no sacrifice is too great in this moment of glory.

Gatomon, Demidevimon and I: Right.

Myotismon: There's certainly no need to tell them that they won't be sharing in the rewards. I hold all the cards, and they are no longer a mystery, now. All I need to do is to find the Digi-Destined ninth child.

I was informed to stay behind to watch for the other digidestined. I was told not to intervene. Labramon and I sat on the ground. Both of us really wanted to run to our friends when we see them.

Just then I heard a voice.

Izzy: My theory is Myotismon has set up these optical illusions to deter us from finding the gate.

Tai: Well, I'd say he's succeeded. We're still as lost as we were before we started.

Matt: All we've done so far is go round and round in circles, and we don't know up from down.

Joe: It's making me dizzy.

Gomamon: Huh?

Joe: What's up?

Gomamon: Someone's coming.

Joe: You sure?

Gomamon: You doubt me?

Mimi and Joe: Huh?

Gatomon: I'm itching to fight.

Demidevimon: Why? 'Cause you got fleas?

Matt: They seem to know where they're going.

Sora: Maybe we should try to follow them.

Tai: They'll lead us to the right place.

Myotismon: I shall now be embarking on a journey to another world. There are forces which must be neutralized before our victory here can be complete. But never fear, I shall return in triumph.

All (Recruits): (Cheers)

Myotismon was standing at a pedestal placing down cards. Labramon and I walked over to him.

Myotismon: It's time to stand back and watch me work my magic. Open the gate to my destiny.

Gatomon: Company move!

Myotismon: Hmm...

Tai: You're not going anywhere, not as long as we can help it.

All (Digi-Destined): (Panting)

Myotismon: What is your name? Do you work for me? Can't you see I'm busy at the moment?

Tai: Yeah, right!

Sora: (angrily shouting) Skylar!

I flinched. I wanted to tell her. That I had broken from the spell but I didn't say anything.

Myotismon look at me questionably for a second.

Myotismon: Demidevimon, would you please take care of this annoying gang of hoodlums? I have better things to do.

Demidevimon: Of course, sir, anything you want. I'm at your service. I'm not letting you get past this gate.

Tai: Fat chance, you little twerp.

Demidevimon: I brought reinforcements. It's all yours, Nanimon.

A fat head looking creature with arms and head walked foward. It had gloves on his hands and boots on his feet.

Nanimon: Right. Don't even think about passing by me, you got it?

Myotismon: Farewell, Digi-doomed.

Nanimon: Okay, let's fight!

All (Recruits): Yeah!

Agumon: We don't wanna fight you guys, but the future is at stake.

Palmon: You'll have to forgive us.

Tai's digivice started to glow light green.

Agumon: Agumon digi-volve to...

Greymon: Greymon!

Mimi's digivice started to glow light green

Palmon: Palmon digi-volve to...

Togemon: Togemon!

All (Recruits): Whoa...

Matt'sdigivice started to glow light green

Gabumon: Gabumon digi-volve to...

Garurumon: Garurumon!

Izzy's digivice started to glow light green

Tentomon: Tentomon digi-volve to...

Kabuterimon: Kabuterimon!

Joe's digivice started to glow light green

All (Recruits): Oh. (Screams)

Nanimon: I order everyone back at your ranks. Come on, I'll buy you dinner.

Sukomon: No, no, no. We're going for some fast food.

All (Recruits): (Screams)

Nanimon: Whoa. You're, you're, you're big. Anybody need a wrestling coach?

Demidevimon: Hey! You can't resign!

Nanimon: You wanna bet, pipsqueak? When it comes down to having my fanny kicked, I'm outta here. If you don't believe me, you might check the fine print on my contract.

Tai: We're coming through!

Tai races foward

Nanimon: Don't let me stand in your way! Whoa!

I smiled along with Labramon. From the looks of it. We wanted our friends to push through.

Matt: You might as well give up.

Demidevimon: I'm outnumbered. Good help is so hard to find!

T.K.: Just admit you picked the wrong side and give it a rest already.

Demidevimon: If you're trying to frighten me, it won't work! (Cries)

Gatomon: You haven't dealt with me, yet!

She started to hop from champion to champion punching them in the face.

Greymon: Oh!

Kabuterimon: Ah!

Ikkakumon: Oh!

Gatomon: (Laughs) That was too easy.

Togemon: Try this.

Togemon tries to punch her but Gatomon dodges .

Gatomon: (Laughs)

Gatomon punched her

Tai: To the gate, everyone.

Sora: We've got to get through.

Gatomon: Hmm?

All: (Panting)

Gatomon: Hey, I don't think so.

Devidramon: (Screams)

Myotismon suddenly appeared behind me.

Myotismon: By the look of your smile. You broke free from your spell.

Myotismon pulled me by my hair towards the portal.

Labramon eyes grew wide.

Labramon: Skylar!

He raced after us.

I screamed as I got pulled by my hair.

Joe: Skylar!

The others look up to see what was going on.

Tai: Skylar must have broken free from the spell.

Sora expression from hate turn to worry

Sora: We have to help her!

Just then a statue above them became real and swoop down and screech loudly.

Gatomon: Devidramon, he's one nasty dragon and guardian of the gate. Devi doesn't like losing, and if you want a real surprise, look into his eyes, you'll be hypnotized.

All (Digi-Destined): Oh...

Greymon: Nova Blast!

Garurumon: Howling Blaster!

Kabuterimon: Electro Shocker!

Ikkakumon: Harpoon Torpedo!

Togemon: Had enough? Needle Spray!

Ikkakumon: Huh? I'm starting to feel really weird.

All (Digi-Destined): (Gasp)

Matt: What's happening?

Devidramon: (Growls)

Kabuterimon: Oh!

Ikkakumon: Oh!

Demidevimon: How about that for some awesome fighting? We got you beat by a mile!

Togemon: You haven't won, yet!

Tai: The gate's closing!

Myotismon had pulled me through the portal. The doors wasn't closed so I could see what was going on.

Labramon raced into the portal with us.

Labramon: let her go.

Myotismon ignored Labramon

Joe: Skylar!

Mimi: Oh no!

T.K.: We have to help her!

Matt: Don't worry Skylar! We are on our way!

Greymon: Nova Blast!

Garurumon: Howling Blaster!

Devidramon: (Screams)

Demidevimon: Move it, you flying bean bag, I'm going through!

Demidevimon tries to pass by Patamon

Patamon: Boom Bubble!

Demidevimon: Whoa!

Tai: This way!

Tai and Sora: Huh?

Greymon: Come to papa, lizard breath.

Matt: Come on, we have to make a run for it, while we have the chance.

Tai: Ready? Get set.

Tai and Sora: Go! (Panting)

Tai: Huh?

Tai's Crest started to glow orange.

Greymon: Go through it! Oh. Greymon digi-volve to...

Metalgreymon: Metalgreymon!

Tai: You're the man! Hurry!

Metalgreymon: Giga Blaster!

Devidramon: (Screams)

Matt: He did it, it's clear sailing from here.

Tai: Come on, everybody. Let's get through that gate!

Demidevimon: All right! Get your mitts off of me!

Tai: Get back! Get out of our way!

Gatomon: Sorry, but you're too late, I'll miss you in Japan.

All (Digi-Destined): (Panting)

Tai: We're almost there.

Izzy and Mimi: Aah!

Tai: Get ready to jump.

Tai and Sora: (Gasp)

Tai: Hurry! The gates are closing!

Gatomon: Good-bye.

The gate's closed. And i was held close to look Myotismon in the face. He held up his left glove to reveal he was holding my digivice and my tag and crest.

Myotismon: Looks like you get what you wish Skylar. You get to go home.

Myotismon pushed pushed roughly to the right. I went through a different portal.

Me: (screaming) Labramon!

Labramon pounced on top of Myotismon and sank his fangs into his arm. Labramon snatched Skylar ' s digivice and tag out of Myotismon ' s gloved hand.

Myotismon: You fool if you follow after her. She will have no memory of you or this world. And in that world, if you die. You will defiently not be reborn.

Labramon smirked.

Labramon: I have already took the risk for Skylar once and I will do it again.

Labramon jumped off Myotismon down the same portal Skylar was thrown through.

(Park)

I stood in the middle of the park. I was confused on how I got there. Families laugh around me, having a good time. Some cook barbecue, while others were goofing off.

I reached into my pocket and expected something there but it was empty.

Me: Strange...I remember leaving school...but I don't remember going to the park...

I started to walk home. Hopefully some of my memories will return soon enough
