Labramon and I still held onto one another as the bed still drifted over the ocean.

Me:* mumbling* This has been one long ride....

Labramon nodded.

Labramon : You can say that again. It's seems like this bed has been flying in one direction four hours.

Just as if to answer are thoughts. We could make out the sunrise off in the distance. The sky was beginning to turn blue and some birds were starting to take flight in the sky.

Me: We must be reaching land soon.

Labramon tilted his head in confusion.

Labramon: How do you know for sure?

I pointed at the crowd of birds.

Me: You see birds do go hunting near the ocean. But they must make sure they have enough strength to fly out here to hunt, but also have enough strength to fly back to where ever they came from.

Labramon look at the bird's and sighed.

Labramon: I hope your right.... because we need to get off this bed.

In only a couple more minutes the bed was drifting towards a huge stretch of land.

Me: *excitedly* Land ho!

Labramon barked happily as he wagged his purple tail.

Labramon: You know. Not once in my life did I ever think. I would get overly excited to see land before.

I nodded to agree with the dog digimon.

Me: Me too. I hope the bed lands there.

Labramon nods and rolls up in a ball next to me. I rubbed between the dog digimon ears as we continue are flight towards the piece of land.

At closer inspection of the peice of land I could tell. That one it wasn't part of the island that Devimon broke off. It was a huge continent.

This bed must get some good gas mileage! We should start flying around on beds back on Earth, so we could stop using fossil fuels.

Labramon: Almost there.

As we got closer I could start making out soon deserts on the land surface.

I put a hand to my forehead and hope that the others would be there.

Me: Hey Labramon?

Labramon turns his head to look up at me.

Labramon: Yes Skylar?

I rubbed my left arm.

Me: Do you think the others landed on this land as well?

Labramon: *shrugging* We will start traveling around in the nearby area. If we can't find them in a few hours. We will start asking digimon for directions. Maybe a digimon has seen one of our friends.

I nodded to agree with my dog digimon. I hope he was right. I didn't want to run into a strong digimon like Devimon without my friends. We were stronger as a team.

I knew that Labramon could digivolve into Seasarmon. But against an opponent like Devimon, Leomon or Orgemon. I don't know if he could handle any of them by himself.

Me: I hope your right.

As we got closer to the land. The bed started to go faster. We could fell the speed of the bed increase. As we got over the land. The bed started to plummet towards the ground.

Labramon held onto me as I began to scream as we headed towards the ground.

Labramon: *shouting* GET READY FOR IMPACT!

The bed crashes into the sandy ground. The sand seem to have cushion the landing. Which might have just saved our lives from falling from such a high up height.

After changing back into my regular clothes and putting the robe I wore ealier on the crushed bed. Labramon and I decided to explore the new land that we landed on.

As we walk we look around the sandy area we were. Patches of sand flew right by us as we look for any signs of damaged beds or any of the others.

It felt like we were never going to find any of them. We might be stuck on this land for ever. What happens if this part of the digital world was only barren deserts.

If that was true than Labramon and I would just be walking forever. We will soon die of hunger or dehydration. But being in the desert, it would definitely by because of dehydration.

Labramon look up at me after a while.

Labramon: Hey Skylar are you okay?

He must have known that I have started to sweat. Dogs have very good noises. They could smell their owners miles upon miles away.

I rubbed my sweat off my forehead using my arm.

I nodded.

Me: I am okay. I am just a little hot. Let's try to find the others, before we start to worry about this heat.

Labramon look up at me with cocern but he slowly nodded.

Labramon: If you say so... if you need to stop and rest at any time. Just let me know.

I nodded and we continue walking. The sun was already high above us. Beating us down with the hot sun rays.

Gosh I wish we could run into one my friends soon. I didn't know how much longer I could take of this. The sun was really starting to get to me.

Soon I will probably have a heat stroke if I don't find some shade. Labramon would probably throw a huge fit of fear, if I just randomly pass out.

I didn't want to to do that to him. He cared about me to much. And if I did pass out. He would believe that it was his fault for not looking after me that much.

As I look up into the sky. I actually saw a small blur flying towards us.

Maybe it was some sort of mirage. In the deserts it was very common to see them. Definitely if you start to feel as hot as I am.

I tapped Labramon on the shoulder. When he look over at me, I pointed up at the spot where I saw the object flying towards us.

Me: Hey Labramon? Do you see an object flying towards us over there?

Labramon looks where I was pointing. He nods and bawled his fist. He probably thought that he might have to deal with a fight soon.

Labramon: Skylar, if this turns out to be a strong digimon. I will digivovle. I want you to promise me that you will run.

I shake my head.

Me: I am not going to leave you here by yourself.

Labramon: But I don't want you to get hurt!

I put my hand on his shoulder.

Me: We're a team. If one of us is in a fight. We have the others back.

Labramon smiled up at me and nodded.

We waited for the object to get closer to see that it was a small bat like digimon. It's body was in a shape of a ball. It has small blue bat like wings on either side of his body. His eyes were a bright yellow, in the middle of his forehead was a skull and his talons on the bottom of his body was gray with red claws attach to them.

When Labramon and I notice that we were worrying about a small Digimon like that. We both broke into a fit of laughter.

Me: *Laughing* Oh my gosh!!! You were going to make me run away from that thing.

Labramon laughed along with me. He clutch his stomach with his paws. As tears fell from the corners of his eyes.

Labramon: *Crying as he laughed* Gosh that would have been embarrassing if we split up because of this guy.

The small bat like creature narrowed his eyes angrily at the both of us. But it turned to complete kindness.

He flew down next to me.

Unknown bat digimon: Hey there.

Me: (waving at him) Hi

Labramon and I both stop laughing so we could allow the bat digimon to speak to us.

The bat digimon coughed before he continued.

Unknown bat digimon: My name is Demidevimon. What's yours guys?

Demidevimon asked as he look between the two of us.

This guy had one annyoing voice. But he didn't seem to be the some sort of digimon. That look like he could fight in battle.

I turned to Labramon and he just shrugged.

I smiled and turn back to him. Maybe this guy was as kind as Veedramon. You can't judge a digimon by its cover. You have to talk to him first, to get to know him.

Me: My name is Skylar Ruby.

Labramon: My name is Labramon.

Demidevimon did a little bow with his left wing.

Demidevimon: It's a pleasure to meet the both of you. So I saw both of you walking through the desert. Is there a reason? You both look like your lost.

I nodded.

Me: We are. We, along with my friends were staying in a mansion. Which turned to be a trap. A Devimon separated us from our friends. Have you seen any humans like me? With digimon of course.

Demidevimon turns away from me. His eyes sparkled.

Demidevimon: You know. Now that you mention it. I think I might have seen your friends

Me: You have?

Demidevimon nodded.

Demidevimon: Yes, I could even take you to them. If you like.

Labramon smiles. And nods at the bat like creature.

Labramon: You are one cool digimon. Thank you so much!

Me: Yeah, thanks. We thought we would be in a pickle. If we couldn't find our friends.

Demidevimon: *chuckling in a weird manner* Don't mention it you two. I will lead you to them right now.

Demidevimon started to fly in the direction he had came.

Labramon and I look at one another and smiled. Before we started to walk after him.

Labramon: Gosh we are so lucky that we ran into that digimon.

Me: I know. We would have just kept on walking through the desert. We would probably become dehydrated.

Labramon nods his head. His face was filled with cocern. He was probably thinking, that if we continue moving. That I would have passed out, and he would have been worried.

I place my hand on the dog's shoulder.

Me: Hey don't worry. I am okay.

Labramon sighed. He nodded and gave me a soft smile.

It was a couple of minutes of continuing walking through the desert following Demidevimon.

The bat digimon continue flapping his wings, he stayed a few feet ahead of us. I could him muttering under his breath, but the bat digimon spoke in a low tone. So I wasn't able to hear him out.

I could tell by looking at Labramon that, he started to lose trust in Demidevimon.

He was bitting his lips with his fangs. And continue looking back and forth between Demidevimon and I.

I was scared that the dog was about to explode and start attacking Demidevimon. But the dog let out a huge sigh before he spoke to me.

Labramon: Are you sure that he is yelling the truth about seeing our friends?

The dog digimon looked really cocern. He look like he was ready to take my hand and run away as far as he could with me away from Demidevimon.

Me: Labramon, calm down. You have to trust him. He hasn't showed any bad signs, for me to lose any trust in him.

Labramon nodded.

Labramon: I hope your right...

We continue walking and notice that Demidevimon stopped near a mountain.

Demidevimon: We will have to walk right through this portal now. Please single file line please.

Labramon: *whispering to me* Are you sure that you want to do this?

I nodded

Me: *whispering back to him* Don't worry everything will turn out okay.

We both look around but saw none of our friends.

Labramon barred his fangs.

Labramon : Where our friends!?

Demidevimon flew backwards in suprised. A look of worry was across his face.

Demidevimon: You didn't let me finsh. The portal is the mountain. Walk straight through it.

Labramon and I look at one another in confusion.

Demidevimon: I will show you both.

Demidevimon flew right through the mountain. It look like a ripple of water that took open up when he got close.

Labramon sighed and turned to me.

Labramon: Last chance to back off. I really don't trust that digimon anymore.

Me: Labramon stop saying that he is a bad digimon. We should give a chance to all kinds of digimon and people.

Labramon nodded. We both walk straight through the mountain. As we walk closer to the mountain, the ripple of the mountain started to open and we walk through.

When we walk through the portal. We were standing near a cliff side. To the right of Labramon and I was the ocean. The ocean was a dark blue, and waves were shown across the area. To the left of us, was a huge black castle from medieval times. The sky above our heads was dark black. Thunder crack before the sky.

Me: *mumbling under my breath* Maybe I made the wrong decision....

Labramon seem to have heard me. The dog digimon narrowed his eyes and then he pointed a claw at my chest.

Labramon: *loudly* I told you!

Demidevimon flew down at us. He pointed his left wing towards the castle.

Demidevimon: Your friends are inside. If we walk to the castle now. We can catch them before they go to sleep.

I raised an eyebrow. It was just the morning before we teleported to wherever we were now.

Me: Oh okay. Let's go then.

Demidevimon started to fly towards the castle. We walked after him. Labramon and I stayed quiet as we followed after the small bat digimon.

Once we reached the gates of the castle. We stopped to see Demidevimon flew over to the top of the castle. He was gone for a few seconds and flew back down to us.

Demidevimon: It will open up in a couple of seconds.

Me: Okay

Just on que the gates open and we walk inside. The opening to the castle was a weird room filled with staircases in weird angles. Their were ones leading up to different floors. A few upside down, and a few in strange weird angles.

Demidevimon caught my attention by landing on my shoulder.

Before he could even speak Labramon bark loudly at him.

Labramon: *barking loudly* Get off her shoulder now!!

Demidevimon flew off my shoulder with the same look of worry from ealier.

Demidevimon: Sorry! I didn't know her shoulder was out of bounds.

I held up my hands.

Me: It's okay Demidevimon.

I turned on my heels to Labramon. I put a hand on my hip.

Me: What is your problem Labramon?

Labramon : I am sorry if you can't tell a villain when you one is right in front of you!

He yelled at me with his paws bawled in fists.

I narrowed my eyes at him.

Me: Labramon you are acting very immature right now!

Labramon gasp as he back a little away.

Labramon: I am immature! I am immature!? Do you even know what your talking about right now.

Me: Yes your very immature!

As we fought Demidevimon was laughing quietly behind us. Watching the two of us fight with one another.

Labramon: That's it! You have to decide right now! It's me or him!

Labramon pointed between himself and now the cowering Demidevimon.

I growled and narrowed my eyes. Before I scoped the cowering Demidevimon in my arms.

Labramon gasped as I did this. He barred his fangs and turned on his feet.

Labramon: Fine... (I heard his voice was filed with pain) I hope I never see you again!

I felt like he just punched me in the heart.

I held out my hand and slowly walked towards Labramon.

Me: Labramon...

Before I could touch the dog. He got down on his four paws and raced away from me.

Me: *crying as he raced away from me* Labramon!

Demidevimon shake his head.

Demidevimon: I can't believe that he would do that to you.

I slowly look down at the ground. Tears sting at the corners of my eyes.

Me: * sadly* yeah...

Demidevimon sighed.

Demidevimon: Well let's me my boss, before I show you where your friends are.

I didn't even now where we were going. Demidevimon stayed on my shoulder as he directed me through the stairs with his wing, pointing me in the way I was supposed to go.

After a while, he led me to a red door.

I open the door and saw a black out room. There was only one object in the room, next to a window with moonlight reflected it off of it.

The object was a coffin. It was black with gold outlines, which had a gold bat in the middle of the coffin lid.

Demidevimon flew down next to the coffin and knocked on it, with his wing.

Demidevimon : Lord Myotismon. Are guest has arrivied.

Why did that name sound so familiar?

The coffin lid open to show a vampire like digimon. He had pale blue like skin. He wore a red mask, he had short blond hair and blue eyes. He wore a blue tux and a black cape.

Myotismon: Hello Skylar. It's a pleasure to finally meet you
