Meiko frowned at the fire light. She took a deep breathe as she looked over at the camp fire in front of her. 

Everyone was getting ready to go to sleep. While Leomon stood guard. Luna placed a hand on her sister's shoulder. "Don't worry about it Meiko..." The older sister frowned. "If you worry about it too much, you can stress yourself out. Besides, everyone here is going to try their hardest to help you find Meicoomon." 

Meiko's eyes grew wide as she stared around at everyone in the cave. Everyone was smiling back at her. 

Sora placed a hand over Meiko's. 

"Don't close yourself off." The orange hair girl slowly looks down at the ground. "When people become lonely, a thorn grows in their heart." She looks up at Meiko with a sad smile. "I was also like that." 

Kari lean in and grabbed Meiko's hands. "Don't worry. I'm positive your heart will reach Meicoomon. I'm sure the things you really want to tell her, will get across to her. You two are partners after all." 

Meiko's eyes began to water. "My message..." 

A memory of Meiko holding Meicoomon as she was fast asleep, flashed in her mind. 

Kari nodded. "Please trust your partner. And also yourself, who was chosen as her partner. Don't give in to a weak heart. We shouldn't be that weak."  Kari paused as she rethought what she just said. "No. Even if you are weak, we your friends, will always be at your side. There must be a reason why you and all of us were chosen to be the digidestined." 

Meiko frowned as she looked away from Kari. "A helpless, chosen kid like me who's afraid of her partner?" 

Matt shook his head. "Not a 'chosen kid.' We're the 'chosen kids'. 

Sora smiled brightly. "Please don't carry it all on your shoulders. Share it with us." 

Skylar nodded. "That's right, we are all here for you Meiko." The red head girl placed a comforting hand on the black haired girl's shoulder. "Don't let this all get you down. You need to have hope that things will get better. Labramon taught me that." The girl smiled at the sleeping dog digimon. "He once told me, that can't never could...if I never learned that...I might not be here right now. When things looked tough...I just so badly wanted to give up. I nearly allowed my heart to be taken over by darkness." She said softly. Skylar looked hopefully at Meiko. "Just please Meiko, don't give up hope. We are here for you." 

Jeremy stood up and held up a fist. "She's right. We are all like a family. We fight together, and we win together. We share through our wins and our loses. So don't count yourself out." 

Agumon woke up from his slumber and sat straight up. "What are you sharing?! I want some too!" He shouted. 

Gatomon narrowed her eyes. "Just sleep." She grumbled. 

Agumon blinked. "Huh?" 

Tai sweat dropped. "Agumon..." He mumbled. 

Skylar scratch the side of her forehead. "I swore...Labramon would have woken up too." She whispered. 

She then looked over at the dog digimon, and he dreamily whispered. "A huge mountain of chicken all for me." 

"That's why" She sweat dropped. 

Matt chuckled at the two digimon. "Jeez, those two. They are like bottomless pits. They are always hungry." 

Agumon sighed sadly. "There's nothing? Then, good night!" The reptile went back to sleep. 

Gabumon sleepily whispered. "Give me a break, I don't want everyone to think we're all the same as him." 

Everyone began to laugh at this joke. 

Cassie looked over at her twin sister and frowned as she noticed that Meiko was still looking down casted. Her attention turn to her boyfriend, when Izzy began to speak. 

"But with this incident with Meicoomon, the digimon are going to be criticized again." 

Everyone sadly looked down at their digimon partners. 

Jeremy frowned. "They haven't done anything wrong." He shook his head. "Can't the people see, that their only trying to help?" 

Tai walked over to where Agumon slept and rested a hand on the reptile's forehead. "Agumon and everyone all fought to protect us here. So we've got to protect them too. Same goes for Meicoomon!" 

Meiko looked up in surprise. 

"Whatever happens in front of you, don't run. Let's all face it together." 

T.K. nodded. "Yeah" 

Kari looked over at Meiko. "Meicoomon is your important partner no matter what she looks like." 

Meiko frowned. 

Cassie looked over at her sister and called over. "Meiko, Meicoomon is probably waiting for your help. I know we can work together to get her back." 

Meiko didn't look so sure. "For my help" She placed a hand over her heart. 

Cassie nodded. "Let's go save Meicoomon!" 

(Maki's office) 

Hackmon sat on the television in the room looking straight at Daigo, and the professor 

"Homeostasis has taken the situation seriously and decided on Libra's removal." Hackmon informed the two men in the room. 

"Removal..." Daigo whispered. 

"Is that, in other words, to eliminate Meicoomon?" The professor asked. 

Hackmon nodded. "Since not even the reboot could suppress it, the only option is to destroy it ourselves." 

"Goodness" The professor said in disbelief. 

"Libra has gone through a kind of mutation due to its protective instinct." Hackmon continued. 

"Mutation? It's not a evolution?" Daigo interrupted. 

Hackmon shook his head. "There is no evolution that advances nothing and only brings destruction. If it is not removed now, we cannot imagine what it could change into in the future. " 

"Wait a sec!" Daigo shouted. "We've been working hard to protect Meicoomon all this time. But now that is goes out of control, you want to remove..." 

Daigo was interrupted by the ringing of his cellphone. He pulled out his cellphone out and answered it. 

"Yes?" 

"What?" 

"Is that true?" 

"But..."

Daigo sighed. "I understand." Daigo clicked end and put his cell phone back in his pocket. 

The professor looked up at Daigo and asked. "What has happened?" 

Daigo bawled his fists. "The self- Defense Forces...are preparing to be dispatched." 

Hackmon spoke nonchalantly. "There are going to be supporting us." 

Professor Mochizuki eyes grew wide at this information. 

"We have already spoken with the government" 

Daigo shook his head. "Why didn't you notify me before now?!" 

Hackmon tilted his head. "What could you do even if you did know?" 

Daigo was taken back by this. A memory of a huge wave appeared in Daigo's mind. 

"Are you just going to watch as the world is about to meet its end again?" Hackmon voice spoke over his memory. "We desire the harmony of all." A portal opened up behind the rookie digimon. "Harmony exists only if it is sustained. As long as its existence destroys that, we cannot overlook it." 

Hackmon jumps backwards into the portal. "It shall be removed as a contaminant." The portal closed behind the rookie digimon. 

Daigo and Professor Mochizuki sat in the room in silence for a few seconds. Until Daigo finally whispered. "All by the orders from above. Then what's the point of Yagami and everyone?" Daigo started to sound angry. 

Professor Mochizuki nodded. "Yeah" 

Daigo bawled his fists again. "If you're just gonna cut them off...why did you choose them?!" Daigo gritted his teeth. 

(Power plant) 

In the late afternoon, a portal open up above an oil rig in the woods. Meicrackmon jumped out from the portal. 

On the inside of the power plant, a laptop was shown with a wide spread of information on it. Until communication error messages pop up onto the screen. 

An explosion of purple energy shot up into the air. And fire erupted from the power plant. Meicrackmon looked over her work in silence. Until she let out a loud roar, when a blast of fire rose into the air. 

(City) 

People watched in complete amazement at the news report being showed on the screens on the side of the buildings. "The power plant uses volcanic geothermal energy. The locals worry that it may induce activity nearby." 

A six year old black haired girl stopped and stared up at the television screen. The girl had silver colored eyes and a frown on her face. She wore a pink t-shirt, and black jeans. "Wait...my daddy works there." She whispered in shock. 

The girl raced off. Mostly likely heading home. 

The woman newscaster continued "With the destruction of the suddenly appearing digimon, the damages could spread to nearby villages. Certain governments have decided to dispatch their militaries. " 

A man was shown standing a few miles away from the destruction of the power plant. "The digimon that disappeared after destroying the power plant is being sought." 

An explosion from the plant, cause the man to jump. He regained his composure and continue telling the news. "We are now under the threat of the malfunctions of digital devices...as well as the fear of natural disasters. What are these digimon trying to do with our world?!" The reporter asked in fear. 

"Contaminant..."Professor Mochizuki whispered as he stared at the TV screen. 

(Digital World) 

The rain was coming down hard in the digital world. The digidestined and their digimon partners sat on the inside of the cave. 

"It was sunny just a second ago." Gomamon pointed out. 

"Maybe it is upset with us." Labramon suggested. 

"What should we do?" Cupimon asked the dog digimon. 

"Maybe we should offer it something." 

Cupimon tilted her head. "Like what" 

The dog digimon picked up his small lunch bag that Skylar had given him. "Sun! I shall give you all my chicken, if you become happy again!" 

Bearmon shook his head. "I don't think, it works like that." 

Cassie shook her head, as she sweat dropped. 

Tentomon stared out at the rain, until he whispered. "They say a woman's heart and the Digital World's weather are both fickle." 

Agumon look down at the bug digimon. "You sure know difficult sayings." 

Gatomon frowned as she stared up at the rain. 

TK walked over to Kari with a small frown on his face. "Kari" Kari look up from where she sat, and TK continued. "You said that the Digital World detests us earlier, right?" 

"Get out" Kari exclaimed 

"What" TK whispered. 

Kari stared sadly at him. "I feel like the Digital world is saying that to us." 

Skylar frowned at this news. The red head girl held up her digivice and stared down at it. "Even after all we've done..." 

Kari nodded and sighed as she look outside of the cave. "The skies, the land, or even the air...none of it's accepting us."

"That's not true" Gatomon said. Kari look off to the right and saw the digimon staring at all of them.  "At least we don't detest you guys!" 

Patamon flew into TK's open arms. "Yup, I want to be with you guys forever." He said happily. 

Palmon nodded and went to hug Mimi. "That's right. I love Mimi and everyone!" 

Mimi smiles and hugs her back. "Palmon, I love you too!" 

Labramon runs over to Skylar. "I want to be with you too." 

Skylar smiles when Labramon says this and rubs the top of his head. "Definitely the chicken you make too." 

Skylar sighed. "You just had to ruin the moment..." 

Kari begins to smile as she picked up Gatomon and hugged her. "You're right" 

Meiko frowned as she stared amongst the others. 

"Well, looking at this situation, I can understand how you feel like this world is attacking us." Skylar frowned as she placed her head on Joe's shoulder. 

"What do you mean?" The red head asked 

Luna's eyes grew wide when she began to realize what was going on.

Izzy placed his hand on his chin. "It's probably trying to get rid of the contaminants."  

"Contaminant?" Sora asked puzzled. 

"We may be seen as a virus to the current Digital World." Izzy exclaimed. 

Cassie hugged Cupimon close to her. "I felt like that was the case. The Digital World is almost like a living organism and for some reason. Since the reboot, it only sees us as a virus." She murmurs. 

Mimi gasped at this knowledge. "A virus? How rude!" 

Luna rolled her eyes. "Mimi, it isn't trying to be rude. Imagine the Digital World being reset. This isn't the same Digital World that we've been before. This Digital World never had the reason to call digidestined. So we are unknown beings, in this new world." She explained. 

Izzy nodded. "I agree, but why is it changing from the Digital World we knew?" He asked aloud. 

"Homeostasis?" Cassie suggested. 

Kari frowned. "We are..." 

Everyone turns their heads to look at her. 

"Going to be disposed of by the Digital World." 

Bearmon shook his head. "I would never let someone hurt Luna!" He snarled, holding up a fist. 

Kari eyes look down at the ground. "But we are a nuisance" She whispered. 

"Why?" TK asked. "Why are we a nuisance?!" He asked rather quickly.  

"Maybe it's because we're the Digidestined?" Tai suggested. 

Skylar pouted. "When did being a digidestined be a bad thing?" She asked aloud. 

Joe sweatdrop. "Do I even need to say any of those times we got chase by an evil digimon?" 

Cupimon frowned. The small fairy digimon look around at all the down faces. Then the fairy digimon smiled brightly. "Hey!" Everyone look at the small rookie digimon. "You guys are alright in my book. You have my Cupimon seal of approval!" She cheered as she threw a tiny fist into the air. 

Small smiles appeared on a few people's faces. 

Jeremy look down at his orange D3. "You know...back when I first got this. I thought the Digital World was supposed to be a place where we could explore. Meet new digimon...and have great adventures. But ever since this reboot...I just don't feel like that anymore. All those adventures...all those people we meet. I just feel like it was just one huge dream..." 

Mimi grabbed Jeremy's hand and squeezed it. She look up at him with a soft smile. "At least we have each other." She whispered. Jeremy nodded and squeezed hers back. 

Leomon look up from where he stood at the entrance of the cave. "I think the rain will stop soon." He informed the others inside of the cave. 

The lion digimon walk inside of the cave. He look down at Jeremy. "You know when you all first arrived. I didn't trust you all." He exclaimed. He crossed his arms over his chest and lean his back against the cave wall. 

"Wow I would have never noticed." Skylar chuckled. 

Leomon shook his head. "But after being around you all for awhile. I know you guys what to try your hardest to protect the ones around you. And I will do anything to protect you all in return." 

Jeremy smiled up at Leomon. "Thanks" 

A few minutes drifted by, with all the kids sitting in the cave. The digimon walk to the entrance of the cave. 

"It stopped raining!" Patamon announced. 

Everyone walked to the outside of the cave and look around the space around them. 

"Huh" Tai gasped. 

Everyone gasped as they saw trees growing around in the vast lands in front of them. Flowers of all different colors and sizes grew all over the place. And a few miles away was a huge mountain. 

Tai eyes grew wide. "Isn't this...where we first came to the Digital World and met Agumon?" 

Everyone look around in complete amazement. 

"This can't be File island...could it be?" Skylar asked 

Electricity spark underneath the kids and digimon's feet. Suddenly a portal open up underneath of all of them. All of them started to scream as they all fell through the portal. 

"Why is this happening to us?!" The red head screamed. 

(Gennai in an unknown location) 

"See with your own eyes...and...meet your demise together." He grinned evilly.  

(Earth) 

Tai slowly open his eyes to see the sun shining down on him from above. Tai sat up to see all of his friends in front of them. Their digimon partners sitting next to them. 

"Is this..." Kari whispered. 

Joe look around the place they were in. "We came back?" He asked surprise. 

Skylar nodded as she sat up. "I think so." 

Mimi had a smile grow on her face. "Seriously? How lucky!" She cheered. 

Tai look around and started to see people staring at them. 

"Not as lucky as you think." Jeremy whispered as he got up and started to help Mimi to her feet. 

Agumon rubbed his eyes and started to look around at all the humans staring at him. "Tai, where are we? Where are we?" 

"Oh, this is..." Tai trails off 

Sora stands up and stares around her. In complete shock. "Our...a" 

Biyomon tilts her head. "Is this your world?" 

Luna blinks. The black girl stood straight up as she quickly grabs Bearmon. '"I think we should get out of here. And quickly." She whispered to the others. 

Leomon looked up as a young boy pointed to all of them. The young child was being held back by his mother. "Look momma, digimon!" 

A young girl started to cry when she saw them. Agumon tilted his head in complete confusion. "Why's she crying? We didn't do a thing." He exclaimed. 

Cupimon nodded. "Nothing yet." She said from Cassie's arms. The small fairy like digimon folded her tiny arms over her chest, and she huffed. Cassie tries to hush her digimon partner. She didn't need any parents getting the wrong idea about their digimon. 

Gatomon held out her paw. "Maybe because it's a child? A protective instinct probably." 

"Protective?" Agumon asked. 

Gabumon frowned as he heard this. "Do we look that dangerous?" 

Labramon put a claw to his cheek. " You know...I always defined myself as adorable." 

Palmon grimaced. "Aw...I feel so sad." She whimpered. Mimi rested a comforting a hand on the top of her head. "Don't worry, Palmon you always look cute." 

Palmon smiles at this knowledge. "Thank you!" 

Agumon held out his hands to the other digimon. "Then let's just become friends with them." He suggested. Skylar found herself sweat dropping. She didn't think this would be a good idea. This might be a bad idea. I feel like Luna has the right idea. 

Leomon looks over at a family near them all. The family was a group of four. The father and mother were standing protectively in front of their two twin children. A young boy and girl. The two kids were staring at the lion digimon, with slight wonder.  He smiles showing his sharp fangs. The two kids took a step back in fear. "Hello there, I won't hurt you." He said calmly. The two kids cried out in fear. 

I knew it.  Skylar thought in her head, as she crossed her arms over her chest. 

From behind them. A man yelled out to them all. "You guys there, what's the matter?" Skylar turns around first. And gasped. She let out a surprise gasp. "It's the po-police!" Everyone turn at the mention of this. 

TK held out his hands, to calm down the police officer. "We're fine, we were just messing around." He called out to him. 

Jeremy nodded. "Nothing to see here. Just a bunch of friends hanging out." He added with a forced smile on his own face. 

The police officer stared behind them all. He glanced at each digimon in turn. A surprise look slowly started to appear on his face. "Could those be digimon...?" he asked. 

"Quick!" Tai quickly grabbed Meiko's arm and started to drag her off down the left path. "Huh?" she cried out in complete surprise. 

Luna on the other hand grabbed Cassie's arm, and pulled her along the right path. The older girl was leading her own group away. Skylar, Jeremy, and their digimon followed after her.  If we can separate. They won't get all of us. Luna had thought in the back of her head. It was a knee jerk reaction for her. She quickly realized what she needed to do. 

The police officer quickly yelled after them. "Hey! Wait right there, you kids!" He shouted as he ran after Tai and the others. He had stopped for a second to stare after Luna, and the three kids that were following her. But decided that Tai and his friends, would be the easiest to catch. Because their were more of them. He continued his chase after them. 

The police officer spoke in a radio he had on his shoulder. "I've found some suspicious children carrying digimon. They have split into two pairs. I am following one group, and I request backup." He spoke quickly. "The location is..."

Mimi was crying as she continued to run. "I'm so sick of running. Jeremy do something!" She yelled. The brown haired girl frowned. As she continued to run. She expected Jeremy to say something along the lines of. "What do you expect me to do?" She turned her head around and noticed that he was nowhere to be seen. "Jeremy!" She yelled. She frowned. She slowly started to realize that Skylar, Cassie, and Luna were missing too. "Ah...guys" She shouted to the others. 

Izzy look over his shoulder and quickly realized the same thing. "They must have split up. Luna must have come up with the idea. It would caused more confusion." He explained. 

"Tai, it's because you ran all of a sudden! You caused all of this!" Matt yelled at him.  TK laughed a little. "Well we kind of ran after him too." He pointed out to his older brother. 

Sora frowned as she agreed with Matt. "We must look 100 percent suspicious now!" 

"Well, we can't help it now! We're already running!" He shouted back at her. 

"U-Um....!" Meiko started to stutter. Tai look back at her. She had a worried look on her face. " I can run on my own!" she pointed out. Tai let go of her hand. "Oh, my bad" (Author's note I do not ship them!) 

From up ahead. A crowd of people pointed out to the group of digidestined. "Officer, over here! There they are!" A man yelled out as he pointed at them. A group of officers started to run in the kids direction. Tai and his friends ran over to a gated area. The humans stood their ground, in front of their digimon partners. 

"Biyomon, run!" Sora instructed. Biyomon shook her head. "I can't leave you!

Matt look over at Tai. "What should we do?" 

Tai quickly look over at Izzy. "Izzy, you have to hide Agumon and them!" He instructed. "Hide?" Izzy asked as he looked over at his friend. "Wouldn't your laptop work in this world?" Izzy nodded. He dived into his bag and pulled out his laptop. He quickly started to type away in a hurry. 

Gatomon started to step forward as she noticed that police officers drawling nearer. A determined look on her face. Kari held out her arm to stop her. "Wait, don't do anything!" She exclaimed. "But at this rate..." 

"We shouldn't make a scene." TK suggested to the others. Izzy quickly held out his laptop to the digimon. A white screen was shown on his computer. "It's open! Hop in!" He instructed. Palmon tilted her head. "What's this?"  

"Just get in!" Mimi yelled.  Sora nodded. "Hurry!" Patamon frowned as he stared at all of them. "What about you guys?" TK smiled at him reassuringly. "We'll be fine, so hurry!" Kari nodded to agree with him. 

One by one. All of them digimon jumped into Izzy's laptop. With Gabumon being the last one. Izzy closed the lid to his laptop and stood back up. 

Joe stared down at his feet. "This is definitely going to affect my school record." He flinched after he said this. As if he was expecting  something to happen. When nothing did. He open his eyes. "Hmm..." he murmured. He blinked a few times. A look of complete amazement was on his face."Skylar?" He asked. He looked around. "Huh! Where is Skylar? Did she trip and fall?" he asked in a panic. 

Mimi laughed at him. "Don't worry party pooper. She went another way with Luna." Mimi laughs. "And besides, you're worried about college at a time like this?" she asked with a sly grin. 

Joe seems to sigh in relief when he hears that Skylar could be alright. He then shifts his attention back to Mimi. "Of course, since we're back." He pointed out. 

TK laughs. "In a sense, Joe's ability to adapt is impressive." 

(Luna and the others) 

Luna was quickly leading her own group away from the park. She was in front while the others followed after her. Cassie had a frown on her face as she held Cupimon close to her. 

"Luna, did we do the right thing?" she asked out loud. Luna stared back at her over her shoulder. "Do you really think we should've have run away from those cops?" she asked. 

Luna stopped running. Which caused everyone to come to a halt. "Of course I do. They think digimon are dangerous. And I don't feel like being separated from Bearmon anytime soon...again." She murmured. A small bit of emotion was heard in her words. 

Jeremy chuckled a little. "And on this day. Luna's heart grew three sizes." Luna narrowed her eyes at the athletic boy. "Shut up!" she warned. 

Jeremy quickly snapped to attention. "Yes ma'am!" he shouted. 

Skylar tilted her head. "Where should we go?" She asked. She put a index finger to her chin. "I think our homes out of the question." She whispered sadly. "They might have gotten all of our faces on camera. So they might stack out our homes." 

Labramon frowned. "Don't worry Sky." He said cheerfully. He held up his arms, as if he was trying to make a muscle. "I will protect you. With my mighty guns." 

Skylar sweat dropped. "That's just flab." She poked his arm to prove her point. Labramon frowned at this. "Come on! I work out." He protested. 

"Labramon?" The group look up at the sound of a young male voice. Skylar gasped when she noticed her six year old brother. Todd was staring at all of them. The boy was standing next to another boy. The boy appeared to be the same age as Todd. Skylar quickly recognized the boy to be his best friend. Ren had short black colored hair. The boy had nutmeg colored eyes, and dimples that showed on his face. Todd was currently wearing a blue t-shirt, and tan shorts, while his friend wore a red shirt, and brown shorts. 

"Oh crud! We've been spotted again." Bearmon said worriedly. 

The dog blinked when he stared at the red haired boy. He tilted his head, a look of confusion was on his face. "Hmm?" He blinked. "Do I know you?" 

Todd blinked at the rookie digimon, and stared back over to his sister. Skylar frowned. She didn't want to let her family know. She would feel as if they would feel just as heartbroken as she was. Labramon had no memory of them all. She mouthed the words. "That she would tell him later." 

The six year old boy nodded. Ren stared around at the digimon that stood next to them. He pointed a slow hand at them. "Are those digimon?" He asked curiously. 

Cassie stared at her friends. Clearly she didn't know what to say. "Er...yes." She whispered. She was beginning to think that they had needed to run again. But stopped when Skylar said. "Hey Todd...is there anywhere that you and Ren, know of that can help hide us?" she asked. 

Ren seem to blink. "We have a hide out." He exclaimed. 

Todd look over at him. "But...it's our secret hide out." He whined. 

Skylar got down on one knee, to look her younger brother in the eyes. She placed a hand on his shoulder and smiled. "We promise to not tell another living soul." She held up her hand. "I promise." She look over at the others. 

Everyone else mimicked Skylar, besides Luna. The older girl had her arms crossed, thinking this was all really childish. Ren frowned and pointed to the older girl. "S-She needs to promise too."

Luna crossed her arms. "I would do no such-" She stopped when she look down at the children. The stone expression slowly starting to fade. She finally took a deep breathe and announced. "Fine...I promise." She groaned. Ren held out his pinky finger. "You pinky promise?" 

Luna's right eye brow started to twitch. The kid was starting to push it. She wrapped her own pinky around his own. "I pinky promise." Ren smiled brightly. "Okay! follow us!" 

(A interrogation room) 

An interrogator stood in front of the digidestined. His arms were across his chest. An annoyed look was plastered on his face. None of them seem to be answering any of his questions. 

"What happened to the digimon that were with you?" He slammed his hands on the table in front of him. "And where did your friends run off too?!" 

A detective seem to calm him down. He shook his head, and look down at some paper work. "The police officers witnessed that all of you were with digimon too." 

"We were just with our friends." Tai finally spoke up. 

The detective raised an eyebrow. "Friends?" 

Tai narrowed his eyes. "Is it wrong to be with our friends?!" He shouted angrily. 

The cop shook his head. "Digimon are a highly dangerous species, as of right now." 

"They aren't dangerous!" Sora protested. 

"That's right! They're really good digimon!" Mimi spoke up. 

"Don't you know what the world, is going through right now, because of those creatures?!" The officer roared at the children. The digidestined were surprise to hear this. 

"What the world's...?" Matt spoke out loud. "What do you mean?" Izzy asked. 

The officer and detective exchanged looks. The two of them didn't know if they should share that information with them. A knock was heard at the door. 

The officer went over to the door. He open it to see a younger officer standing at the door. "Excuse me, there's someone here to claim custody of the children." He informed the older officer. 

Standing outside, the officer could see Daigo standing there. Daigo held out a document to the officer. And the man read over the information. "Hmm...Daigo Nishijima Grade 2...Management officer." The man hands Daigo his paperwork back. "Why does a government bureau want these children?" 

"Because they are important children." Daigo answered him. The officer sighed and shook his head. "We can't just easily hand them over like this. They ran over from a police officer. And they won't disclose the information of-" he trails off as he pulls out a list of name. "Of a Skylar Ruby, Jeremy Heinz, Luna and Cassie Mochizuki. Not to mention those four left the scene with digimon as well." 

Daigo shrugged. "They were instinctively trying to protect their friends from the police." The officer raised an eyebrow at this news. "Friends...those children were saying the same thing but an adult like you calling those creatures "friends" is ridiculous." The man shook his head. 

Daigo narrowed his eyes. "I represent...the Incorporated Administrative Agency, National Data Processing Bureau,  Information Strategy Section, Information Management Office." 

The officer grew angry. "You trying to pressure me?" Daigo stood his ground. "Whatever you'd like to call it. But the children will be handed over to us. Those children are clearly hiding the location of those digimon. They must be watched closely." 

"The one to decide that is not you." 

*A few mintues later* 

Daigo is driving down the road. The digidestined were in the back. "I know you guys are tired and I'd like to take you all home...but your homes are surrounded by the media." 

Mimi eyes grew wide. "The media?!" 

Daigo nods. "Looks like some info was leaked to the public." Daigo sighs. "Can you all tell me what happen to Skylar and the others?" 

Izzy shrugs. "They were with us one moment, and they were gone the next." He frowns. "We truly have no idea where they went." 

Joe pulls out his cell phone. And checked out the text he had sent her. It was when they had all got into the car. But she still hasn't replied to him. Are you okay?  He frowned at his message.

Sora caught his gaze. "Don't worry. She's probably okay." She reassured him. She placed a hand on his shoulder. "No need to worry."  

Daigo spoke up. "As I said before. I won't be able to take you all home. But I will take care of you all. If anyone of you get ahold of the others. Please let me know. I don't need to rescue them from the police as well." He grumbled. 

TK grinned. "We have no say,  in what crazy things Skylar does. So it is up to her." 

Daigo sighed at this a little annoyed. Because he honestly believed TK. Skylar being one of his students. He knew how hotheaded she was, and how she rushed into things without little thought. 

Kari frowned. "Daigo...what is going on?" Daigo snapped out of his thoughts. He look down onto the road in front of him. "It's Meicoomon." 

Meiko's eyes grew wide. "Meico!?" 

Daigo holds out a paper, which Tai quickly takes. Everyone leans in to see it was actually a photograph of Meicoomon in her ultimate level form. "That's Meicoomon in the picture, right?" No one answers him. Meiko stares down at her cracked glasses in her hands. A frown played at her lips. She grips her broken glasses before she answers. "Yes. What has she done?" Everyone looks over at Daigo. 

"I'll tell you when we arrive." he informed her. "Are we heading to that whatever-bureau?" Tai asked, he had an eyebrow raised. Daigo laughs at him, and shakes his head. "No, somewhere more relaxed. It's summer break and everyone's gone, so it's under the media's radar." 

(Elsewhere) 

"Were finally here!" Ren called out happily. The young boy held out his hands as if to welcome them all. 

"Remember big sis! You promise not to tell anyone" Todd reminded his sister. 

Standing before Skylar and her friends was what appeared to be a broken down shack. Todd and his friend Ren had took them into a closed up part of the park. Where it had a sign that clearly read. "Private property keep out" But this shack appeared to be long abandon. The wood was withering away. The front door even look to be kicked in. "I remember" Skylar messed with her young brother's hair. 

Todd smiled and look up at the shack. "I can't wait to see how you guys think of the place." He said with a goofy grin. He raced up to his hide out. With his friend quickly following behind. Luna look over at everyone else. She had her arms crossed over her chest. "Really?" She asked out loud. She held out her left hand. "This...this is really what we were hoping for?" She asked 

Jeremy shrugged. "Come on." He smiled. "It may look run down. But at least we are safe." He started to walk over to the shack. Cassie nodded. "Come on sis...it can't be too bad." 

Cupimon nodded. "Aye!" She flew towards Luna. "You have to think positively." She patted her on the head. 

Luna rolled her eyes as she followed her friends on the inside. When they all walked inside. Todd and Ren were already waiting for them. Todd held out his hands to show them. That they had painted the inside. The walls was painted dark blue. And from the ceiling, a small fixture hung from the wall. And from within the fixture glass bottles lay, and from the sunlight that made its way through the cracks of the shack. The room had colors of blue, green and pink that decorated the walls. 

"This place is amazing" Skylar said smiling as she sat down. Labramon followed suit. The retriever placing a finger to his chin. "But do you want to know what it would make it even nicer?" Skylar look at him curiously. "If their was food." He grabbed his stomach. 

Skylar rolled her eyes. Bearmon frowned around at the shack. "This place doesn't look safe, for you two to be playing around." 

Ren shrugged his shoulders. "We thought the same thing. Until our friend Eric showed us the place." Leomon look around. The lion digimon picked up some pieces of wood in the corner. "Do you guys have any equipment? Maybe we could all fix this place up for you." He suggested. 

Ren and Todd exchanged looks. Both of them appeared to be excited. "Yes!" They both shouted. They raced over to a box in the far corner of the room. And showed it to the lion digimon. Inside the box, lay a hammer,  a box of nails, and various other equipment. 

Skylar claps her hands together. "I guess we all have a project on our hands now." She smiled brightly.  She stood up and the others followed her. Each of them started to get their own jobs. 

"Leomon and I will work on getting this place structurally safe." Jeremy informed his friends. 

"Labramon and I will work on finding food." Skylar suggested. A few anxious looks were thrown her way. "Don't worry we won't stay out too long. And if we get caught. We will come back right away." 

Cassie sighed out in relief. "Well in that case. Cupimon and I will work on decorations." She look around the room. "Maybe when we have some more time. We can get some tables and chairs in here." 

Luna stood in the back of the group. She truly wasn't paying any attention. Bearmon look up at her. "What should we do?" He asked, his head tilted to one side. Luna frowned down at him. "Um...I guess." She didn't know what to say. But staring at the two young boys looks of excitement. She finally realized what she needed to do. 

She pulled out her cell phone. "Sky...don't risk it." She told her. Skylar look over at her. "Why not?" Luna narrowed her eyes. "Because knowing you. You will probably get caught." Skylar sweat drop. Luna peered over at Todd and Ren now. "I know we told you, we wouldn't tell anyone about your secret hide out. But I know someone who could be here in a few minutes. He could bring over some food, and some other supplies. How does that sound?" 

Ren and Todd exchanged some looks. The two of them didn't know what to say. "Well..." Ren stared out saying. "I guess so" 

Luna nodded and clicked a few numbers. She clicked call and put her phone to her ear. A few loud rings were heard. And the older girl suddenly realized her speaker was on. "Oh crap!" She announced. In a few moments, someone answered before she turned off the speaker function. "Oh...my moon. I was hoping you would call me soon. Which each passing day. My heart mourns for your embrace." 

Luna blushes at the male's words. And she turns off the speaker function and put the phone to her ear. She could hear some snickers behind her. "Sol! Snap out of it. Can you bring some food, and some work supplies to the park." She said in the phone. She nodded and gritted her teeth. "Gah! Fine...." She waited a few seconds listening to whoever was on the phone. "Love you too." She finally said through a whisper. 

She hung up and put her phone back in her pocket. "Who was that?" Skylar asked leaning over to Cassie. The younger girl giggled. "Luna's boyfriend, Sol!" She said through some laughter. 

Luna glared at her younger sister. "Careful" She warned. 

(The high school) 

"Ah, school" Sora said in surprise as she got out of the car. 

From a television a woman was speaking about a fire that was happening at the factory that Meicoomon destroyed. "The fire is still strongly continuing after five hour have already past." 

The digidestined were now all huddled around a television. Each of them had looks of shock on their face. 

"Meico...did this?" Meiko asked in complete fear. "It's the same as with Kuwagamon." Daigo answered from staring down at his laptop. TK shook his head. "It's worse than that." Tk turns around to see Izzy typing away at his own laptop. "There was this much damage with only Meicoomon causing one explosion. Imagine if all of these digimon went out of control..." 

Izzy sweat dropped as he stared down at all the digimon that were gathering around the Earth. "The Earth...will face an unprecedented crisis." 

Matt frowned. "So basically...we've got a knife to our throats." Mimi shook her head. "We've gotta stop it! Let's chase them away!" 

"Calm down." Tai spoke up. Everyone look over at Tai in surprise. "Tai?" Matt look at him in confusion. Tai looked around at everyone in the room. "If we just randomly fight, it'll be the same as Odaiba." 

Matt gritted his teeth. "So are we just gonna sit here and watch?!" Tai shook his head. "I wanna jump out there myself. But just like you said...the battle from here on is gonna involve the fate of the entire world. And that's why we can't let the same thing happen again." Tai smiles. "For Agumon and everyone else." 

Matt nods to agree with him. "I know that, of course." Everyone grew quiet. Until Joe leaned back and rested his hands behind him. "Jeez! Meicoomon's sure done it this time!" 

"Joe!" Kari snapped at him. "Uh!" He shouted loudly, realizing what he just said aloud. "No, um..." He rubbed the back of his neck not knowing what to say. 

Mimi put a fist over her heart. "But...where did Meicoomon end up going?" She asked. Daigo spoke up from where he sat. "She may have been already removed." Meiko look up. "Removed?" 

"What do you mean, Mr. Nishijima?" Tai asked perplexed. Daigo explained to them everything he learned from Hackmon. 

(Later) 

"Homeostasis ordered Meicoomon's removal?" Izzy said in surprise. Meiko stared down at the floor. A frown on her face. "An existence undesired by all." She whispered. "An existence that shouldn't have been born...Then I as well...I'm an undesired partner." 

"Stop it, Meiko!" Kari shouted. Matt nodded. "Don't put yourself down! Same with Meicoomon." Meiko stared at the television. At the chaos that played on the screen. The chaos that Meicoomon had caused. "Is this...something a desired person would do? And I couldn't stop it." 

"Right now, there's someone who desires you the most." Tai says aloud. Meiko looks up at him. "Meicoomon" He answered her. Joe nods to agree with him. Kari smiles at her. "I think we and our partners are each other's hope." 

Meiko grabs the corners of her skirt. She couldn't make eye contact with any of them. "That's right, MeiMei!" Mimi shouted. "You, no we are Meicoomon's hope!" Sora rested a hand on Meiko's shoulder. "We'll find her for sure!" 

Daigo smiled. "Hope..." He looks down as if recalling a memory. "That's true...yeah." TK rests a hand on his chin. "There's something bothering me." Everyone looks at him. "Why was Meicoomon even targeted at all?"  Tk frowned at the digimon that showed on Izzy's laptop. "These digimon appeared after Meicoomon showed up." 

Izzy gasped. "A switch to turn on the other digimon..." 

(In the park) 

A teenage boy came a little while later. He drove a red ford pick up truck. The boy appeared to be about the same age as Luna. His hair was cut short, and was a dark red. His eyes were silver and seem to blaze with intelligence. He wore a red muscle shirt, with a swim team jacket over it. Along with black slacks and black sneakers. He brought along some equipment and some food. 

With everyone busy working. Todd decided to take a break outside. The boy was walking along the forest. Until he stopped. Standing before him was a small white like creature. It appeared to be a dinosaur. It walked on all fours, and a red cape was tied around it's neck. The creature regarded Todd with a curious stare. 

"A human" The creature said aloud. 

"You must be a digimon. Are you friends with Labramon and the others?" Todd asked. 

The creature shook his head. "No...my name is Hackmon. And I work for Homeostasis."

Authors note: Sorry for the long wait. But I have been going through a lot lately. I planned to have the last two parts out before the conclusion of tri. But I might be off Wattpad for a while. So I can dedicate my time to studying for my finals that are coming up soon. Welp...I will see you all later!
