Meiko was being lifted in the air by a glowing purple collar. The collar was slowly choking her.

Meicoomon: Mei!

Gennai held out his hand as he was levitating Meiko high in the air.

Gennai: If you want to upset Meicoomon, the fastest way is hurting the partner.

Meicoomon pounced onto Gennai's shoulder and dug her fangs into his shoulder.

Gennai smacked the champion digimon with the back of his hand.

Gennai: Now, release yourself, and destroy the world! Or your partner's gonna die 'cause of you. See?

The collar around Meiko's neck becomes tighter. Meiko cried out in pain.

Gennai: C'mon...

Meiko slowly passed out her head drooping.

Meicoomon's eyes became dilated.

Gennai: You shouldn't have been born...

The collar around Meiko's neck was slowly becoming purple data. The girl's glasses fell from her face. When the glasses reached the ground, it shattered.

(Six years ago)

A young Meiko was heard in the woods.

Birds flew up into the air, startled from the young girl's voice.

Meiko: Meico!

Meiko was slowly walking through the woods alone. She held a hand over her heart as she looked left and right through the dark woods.

Meiko: Meico...

Meiko started to cry.

Meiko: Meico!

Meiko heard rustling off to her left and quickly turned to the sound of the noise. From the shrubbery. Meicoomon walked out slowly. Meicoomon looked up with sad eyes and sadly whispered.

Meicoomon: Mei...

Meiko's sad expression quickly changed to joy. She claps her hands together and smiles.

Meiko: Meico!

The two of them quickly raced to one another.

Meicoomon: Mei!!

Meicoomon jumped into Meiko's open arms. The two of them hugged, happy that they found one another.

Meiko: I am so glad, I found you! I was really worried.

Meicoomon: (whispering sadly) I was so scared.

Meiko happily poked Meicoomon in the nose.

Meiko: Boop

Meicoomon smiles softly and hugs Meiko again.

Meicoomon: Mei!

Luna: Meiko! There you are.

Meiko turned on her heels to see her older sister, and twin sister walking over to her.

Luna looked overly worried, while Cassie looked like she wanted to be anywhere else.

Cassie had her arms over her chest. And looked away from her twin sister. Meiko knew her twin was jealous of her having Meicoomon. She felt like she was left out from being given a gift.

Luna placed a hand on her younger sister's shoulder.

Luna: Are you alright? Are you hurt?

Meiko shook her head.

Meiko: We're fine.

Luna's look of worry changed to a firm look.

Luna: Then don't run off like that! (She scolded) I know we were playing hide and go seek. But don't run off all worried like that, because we can't find Meicoomon. You could have gotten lost...or worse. Someone could have taken you.

Meiko slowly look down at the ground.

Meiko: I'm sorry...

Meicoomon nodded to agree with her.

Luna sighed. Looking defeated. The older sister, didn't like seeing her younger siblings upset. She rubbed her hand through Meiko's hair.

Luna: (smiling) Don't worry about it. Let's get home.

From the shrubbery that Meicoomon left. A single white feather lay in a oily black substance.

(Home)

Meiko was shown washing Meicoomon with a small hose in the bathroom.

Luna was standing next to their mother. While Cassie was standing next to Meiko. Watching her clean off her digimon.

Mother: Taking Meico for a walk is okay, but you three shouldn't have gone too far.

Luna nodded. A frown was on her face. She placed a hand on her chest.

Luna: I'm sorry mom. It was my fault. I was the one who suggested that we should go further in the woods. If anyone should be the one to blame, it is me.

Meiko: That's not true. I wanted to let Meicoomon play somewhere with more room. So, I suggested we could play tag.

Cassie let out a sigh. And sat on the counter of the bathroom.

Meiko turned off the water, and Meicoomon tried to shake the water off herself.

Luna turned to look at her mother.

Luna: Will dad get mad?

Meiko started to dry off Meicoomon.

Their mother smiled at them, and put a finger to her lips.

Mother: Let's just keep it a secret for now.

Meiko smiled.

Meiko: It's a secret. Meico you too, shh

Meiko put a finger to her lips.

Meicoomon: Shh

Cassie narrowed her eyes.

Cassie: It's not fair!

Their mother's eyes grew wide at the sudden out burst.

Mother: Cassie!

Cassie had tears in her eyes.

Cassie: Why does Cassie have a friend like Meico, when Luna and I don't? Why did daddy give Meicoomon to Meiko? Why couldn't I get a friend like that?

Luna slowly reached a hand out to her younger sibling.

Luna: Come on Cassie. You need to calm down.

Cassie frowned but took her older siblings hand. The two walked out.

And Meiko frowned as she continued to dry off Meicoomon.

Meiko's mother was doing the laundry. But stopped when she held a shirt that was Meiko's.

Mother: Meiko!

Meiko: What?

Mother: Did you get hurt?

Meiko picked up Meicoomon.

Meiko: No. Why?

Her mother held out the shirt she was wearing today.

Mother: Isn't this blood?

Blood claw marks were shown on the shirt.

Meiko's eyes grew wide.

Meiko: What? Then Meico?!

Meiko looked down at Meicoomon's claws. Which were clean.

Meiko: I don't see anything here.

Her mother sighed.

Mother: (worriedly) Okay then...

(Later at dinner)

Meiko, her sisters, Meicoomon, and their parents sat at the dinning room table.

Meiko (surprised) : You're taking Meico to the research lab?!

Their father nodded.

Father: Yes Early tomorrow morning, people from the Tokyo research institution are coming. It'll only be a day or two.

Meiko frowned and placed her hand on Meicoomon's forehead.

Luna raised an eyebrow at their father.

Luna: What's so special about Meicoomon?

Her father turn to look at her.

Father: We still do not know everything about digimon. And want to run more tests.

(The following day)

A lab was shown on fire. People were screaming and running in different directions. One screen was cracked and shown frizzing out with data walls.

Man: Professor! The data!

Meicoomon was shown with a twisted grin and her eyes dilated. She turn looking around at the flames around her.

Professor: Get back! It's dangerous!

Meiko and her sisters were standing in the entrance of the lab. Luna was stun at the sight in front of her. Cassie looked terrified out of her mind, her hand over her mouth as she shook in fear.

Cassie had a tarrying thought in her head. Are all digimon like this? Do I really want a digimon partner?

Meiko stood with a blank expression as she stared at the lab. Meiko dropped her school bag to the ground.

A lab assistant raised his arm out in defense

Lab assistant: S-Someone call the police!

Maki walked in front of him and shook her head.

Maki: Hold off on the police.

Meicoomon was covered in purple data, as her eyes glowed dark red. She let out a guttural roar.

The three sisters saw their father with his hand on his left shoulder. Blood soak his hand as he gritted his teeth in pain.

Luna ran to their father's side.

Luna: Dad are you okay?!

Their father nodded at his oldest daughter.

Suddenly Meicoomon pounced toward Cassie and Meiko. The twin sisters step back in surprise.

Luna: No!

Father: Cassie! Meiko! Run!

Meiko dropped to her knees. While Cassie only stood still in absolute fear. Her eyes shaking.

Meicoomon slowly lost the purple energy that had surrounded her and blinked.

Meicoomon: Me...I...

Meiko gasped

Meiko: Meico?

Meicoomon smiled brightly as she raced forward to her. All memory of her attacking everyone in the lab, seem to be gone from her memory.

Meicoomon: Mei!!

The champion rested her head on Meiko's lap.

Meiko: Meico.

She rested a soft hand on the digimon's forehead.

On one screen behind her. A computer read Error in bold red letters.

Cassie, Luna, and their father walked over to check on Meiko. While Maki watched them from afar.

(Present)

Meicrackmon flew into the air and let out a guttural roar. As she flew in front of the digital moon.

In the digital space, water rushed through a digital portal.

Gennai smirked as he watched the ultimate level digimon in the sky.

Gennai: You should have never been born...However, I have been waiting for you.

Portals started to appear all over the digital world.

(Crystal mountains)

Koromon: That's interesting

Paomon: What's with the pretty lights?

Tsunomon: Do you really think so?

Palmon: I don't like them at all.

Koromon: I only have bad feelings about it.

Leomon: What is going on.

Jeremy narrowed his eyes.

Jeremy: It's happening all over again.

Sora's eyes shook.

Sora: That's...

The portals above them showed the human world.

Skylar: This can't be happening...is that really our world!? Not again!

Calumon pointed a finger off from Cassie's shoulder.

Calumon: Digimon are flying through it!

Luna bawled her fist.

Luna: We have to find Meiko, and Meicoomon!

Luna instructed the others. The others quickly nodded and raced after her.

(On the ship)

Meiko laid on the ground. She was unconscious, and her glasses lay next to her broken.

Meiko woke up and looked up into the sky.

Meiko: Meico...Meico!

Meicrakmon turned around in the sky and gasped.

Meiko: Meico!

Meicrakmon let out a loud roar, and flew towards her with her claws directly pointed towards her.

Meiko closed her eyes as memories of the past couple of weeks flashed through her mind. Suddenly Luna dashed out from her right and tackled her to the ground.

Luna: Meiko! Are you okay?

Meicrackmon had slammed into the ground where Meiko had only stood moments before.

Luna held her younger sister close to her as she stared down the ultimate level digimon.

Meicrackmon barred her fangs. And quickly flew off into a portal without a word.

Mimi: Meicoomon...

Skylar gritted her teeth.

Skylar: She became Meicrackmon again...this isn't good.

Cassie nodded.

Cassie look over at the red head with worry.

Cassie: What are we going to do now? (Starting to whisper) We did the reboot to get rid of the virus. And that didn't work.

Skylar sweat drop.

Skylar: Why are you asking me? You and your boyfriend should know the answer.

Cassie blushed at this statement.

T.K. blinked in surprise.

T.K.: The key to destroying the world? That's what Gennai called Meicoomon.

Meiko look down at the ship's deck.

Meiko: "You should have never been born."

Luna look at her sister worriedly.

Meiko: That's what he said.

Mimi narrowed her eyes.

Mimi: There are no digimon that shouldn't have the right to be born!

Jeremy nodded to agree with her.

Jeremy: Mimi is right! Every digimon should have the right to live! Including Meicoomon!

Everyone's attention turned to Izzy.

Izzy: If Meicoomon shows up in our world with that much destructive power...

Matt and Tai walked over to the edge of the ship. Matt frowned as he saw many digimon walked towards the ship. All of them had dark glowing red eyes.

Matt: This is lookin' bad too.

Skylar's eyes shook with fear.

Skylar: The virus...

Paomon: (Confused) Skylar...what's a virus?

The red head girl bit her lip as she stared down at her partner digimon. The memory of Labramon attacking her reappeared in her mind. But she shook It away, with the memory of Joe. Joe said no matter what happen, he would always be there for her.

Skylar looked over at the blue hair boy with a look of worry. And he gave her a reassuring look.

Joe: Everything is going to be okay.

Joe placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, and squeezed it.

Wanyamon; It doesn't look like they want to be our friends.

(Earth)

People were staring at computer screens, trying to get information from a satellite. Sirens started to go off in the building.

Man: No. 6 Multi-functional Satellite communication has failed!

Man 2: Confirm all checklists

Man: Not only No. 6, but the IGS 1... Wait, the GPS signal has also shut off.

Man 2: All confirmable global satellites have shut off communication.

Communication error was showed on the computers throughout the room.

Man: It's not a problem with receiving? Confirm with Nobeyama! Contact Katsuura and Okinawa!

(Somewhere in the digital world)

Maki slowly looked up into the sky with a dazed look. She held a sniper rifle (Authors note: Where in the hell did she get this...moving on...) It's breaking...The Digital World...The entire world...

Maki frown turn to a look of excitement.

Maki: This time, I...will be chosen. Tapirmon. Hey. Where are you?

Maki starts waking around looking for her digimon partner.

Maki: We need to save the world. Tapirmon. The only ones who can save it are me and you...Only us who were chosen. I trust you Tapirmon. I know you are my partner.

Maki's smile only grew. As she stared out into nothingness.

(Earth)

On the news report. A flash news was on TV about worldwide electronic malfunction.

A woman with brown hair was telling the news.

Newscaster: Currently, due to the malfunction of weather satellites and seismometers, as well as false disaster alarms and warnings, certain regions are ordered to evacuate to avoid confusion. Digimon are being spotted in many different parents of the world. Which is seen as the same species.

Portals all over the globe was broadcasted on the news.

Newscaster: However, the sighting locations are not consistent, and many have begun to even predict the next appearances.

A boy and girl were shown on the television. The boy smiled.

Boy: I'd say maybe the Arc de Triomphe's next?

The girl next to him shrugged and suggested.

Girl: Like, maybe they're touring the world?

The screen changed to show a group of three girls.

A dark brown hair girl waved at the camera man.

Dark brown hair-girl: Yes, we're predicting among our friends where they're going to pop up next.

(At a train station)

Two girls were standing waiting for their train to arrive. One girl gasped in surprise as she stared at her cell phone.

Girl: Hey, what's this?!

Her digital pet on her phone, had a text bubble above it which read. "Kill you"

The girl narrowed her eyes and continued to try to press buttons on her phone.

Girl: It won't eat or sleep! It's totally ticking me off!

She shut her phone off and placed it in her purse.

(Digital space)

Meicrackmon floated alone in the digital space. Her eyes closed shut as if she was in a deep sleep. A male voice was whispering in her head.

male voice: Humans...such worthless creatures...they're inferior existence...

(Maki's office)

Daigo answered a phone.

Daigo: I am well aware that Himekawa's not present. But how come no information is reaching us?! Right now, the chosen children are inside the Digital World...(The phone's line clicked) Hello?!

Daigo slammed the phone down.

Daigo: Yagami...

Elsewhere

A Datamon was shown flying through a portal. Flying alongside other Datamon falling towards Nasa command center.

A Tankmon was shown roaming around a oil factory.

A Golemon appeared over a huge crater.

A scorpiomon was swimming through the ocean.

A Gorillamon roared on a mountain side.

Another woman newscaster was pointed at footage of Tankmon.

Newscaster: Digimon sighted globally are not showing signs of movement at the moment. In certain nations, the police have put them under surveillance.

Back in the computer room.

Man: No. 6 Multi- functional Satellite, error in attitude control!

His boss stood behind him and quickly instructed him to.

Boss: Hurry, check the system!

Man: Reaction wheel, no response!

Boss: This too? What's happening?!

ERROR flashed on all the computers in the room.

A newscaster frowned as she stared at the camera in front of her.

Newscaster: What are the digimon's purpose? Individual nations have begun to hold emergency cabinet meetings.

Mrs. Yagami was staring at the television in front of her with worry. A frown shown on her face.

Mrs. Yagami: Tachi...Kari...

She closed her eyes and sighed.

Mrs. Yagami: They'll be fine. (She got up from where she sat in the living room) I'm sure they'll be hungry when they return. I need to make a lot of food!

(Skylar's apartment)

Todd stared at the television with worry on his face.

Todd: Mommy...digimon are on television again!

Mrs. Ruby turned on her heels and gasped. In the process she knocked over the bowl of flour she had laid on the counter.

Mrs. Ruby: Not again...I really hope Skylar and her friends are okay...

Todd: Don't worry mommy. Labramon will protect her.

Mrs. Ruby frowned as she looked down at the bowl.

Mrs. Ruby: I hope so...

Mrs. Ruby picked up the bowl. But shouldn't that be my job as a mother to protect her. But...sometimes...I feel like it's her and her friends protecting everyone. Skylar has really grown up...

(Maki's office)

Daigo and professor Mochizuki stared at the television in front of them.

Newscaster: The government is not declaring the situation an emergency as of now. However, they will keep a close eye on this...as they plan to discuss a response with specialists.

Daigo frowned.

Daigo: What are they gonna discuss without calling Professor Mochizuki there?

Daigo turned to the professor sitting to the right of him.

Daigo: Professor, can they really state that this isn't a critical situation?

Professor: Absolutely not. It's the calm before the storm. Just like before...

Daigo: Before...

Professor: Meicoomon.

Newscaster: In other words, it's a warning towards mankind...for being over dependent on digital power.

A man sitting to the right of him shook his head.

Man: A warning? From who?

Newscaster: From mother nature or like as a sign from God?

A scientist chuckled.

Scientist: The digimon who symbolize digital power are the warnings of mother nature? Isn't that a little funny?

Man: What about the connection with the recent giant digimon incident?

Professor Mochizuki sighed.

Professor: Meicoomon went out of control at the laboratory in Tottori once. At first, she was just afraid because my daughter Meiko wasn't nearby. Yet she was quiet while she held my daughter's stuffed doll. However, the next second, Meicoomon burst like lava from a volcano.

Daigo frowned.

Daigo: What on earth is Meicoomon? Is it really a digimon?

Hackmon's voice: It is a digimon. However, it's an existence that holds too much power.

Daigo and the Professor turned their heads in the direction of the voice. Hackmon was sitting on top of the television.

Daigo: Hackmon!

Professor: Hackmon?

Daigo: A self-proclaimed messenger of Homeostasis. Homeostasis is trying to protect Meicoomon.

Hackmon shook his head,

Hackmon: Homeostasis only protects the harmony of the entire world.

Daigo looked puzzled.

Daigo: Well, don't you need Meicoomon for that?

Hackmon: Libra has been an unstable one since its birth.

Professor: Libra...?

Daigo: That's Meicoomon.

Hackmon: Libra holds a shard of Apocalymon's data within it. In other words, it contains a dark side of the Digital World. A tremendous amount of power lies within it. It was outcast because of how much power it held...No, it was feared to be correct. The existence of a partner was what maintained the balance of Libra's power.

Daigo: You mean Meiko Mochizuki?

Hackmon nodded.

Hackmon: Correct

Professor: (placing a hand on his chin) That's true. Meicoomon was very calm when she was with my daughter. Meicoomon would never leave her side. When my daughter left for school or wasn't home, she was very lonely...

Hackmon: The existence of a partner had been our hope. However, when suppressed power breaks loose it bursts out with unimaginable force. Once its instinctive-type power bursts out, there is no meaning in having a partner at that point.

Daigo and the Professor was surprise to hear this news. The two of them were too stun to say a word.

Hackmon: Libra's powers are now massive...It is a threat that could destroy all harmony and stability.

Daigo: A threat, huh?

The professor placed a hand on his chin.

Professor: So my daughter...she...

Hackmon: ...carries an oversized burden on her shoulders for being a Digidestined.

(Digital world)

Tai and his friends were shown in the digital world running through a forest. Suddenly the grassy floor underneath them glitches out and all of them started sliding down a hillside. All of them started to scream at the top of their lungs.

Mimi: Yoew! Jeez, what's up with all this? It became a slope all of a sudden! The ground became a swamp earlier too!

Joe looked up the hill side.

Joe: With this, we don't have a clue where or how to run!

Cassie look off ahead of them.

Cassie: Then what do we do?

Izzy: Meicoomon's existence may be causing something that goes beyond a reboot.

Matt: Which means we need to stop Meicoomon.

The ground started to rumble

Jeremy: Agumon! Labramon! Please tell me that is your guy's stomach.

The two digimon shook their head.

Both: Sorry

A dromigemon burst from the ground roaring at the top of his lungs. And a Dokuwagamon on the other side of the children and digimon.

Tai and his friends gasped. Joe quickly helped Skylar get to her feet and the other's quickly followed.

The digimon quickly jumped into action.

Leomon: You all need to get to safety!

Gabumon: Matt, run while we stop them!

Gatomon: Hurry!

Bearmon: We will try to hold them off, as much as we can!

Tai and his friends quickly ran off away from the battle. They reached the safety of the woods and continued running until vines shot up from the ground and pulled all of them into the air.

Cassie: I don't like this...!

Luna: Whoever is doing this better put me down right now! Or I will make them suffer the consequences!

Skylar; She will!

Mimi: What is all this?!

The digimon all jumped in and slashed the vines away from their partners.

Sora: Thank you, Biyomon.

Izzy, Kari, Meiko, and T.K. where still be held by the vines.

Tai: Kari!

Agumon: Pepper breathe!

The flames cut away some of the vines, and the digimon rushed in to slice away the rest of the vines.

Tentomon flew to Izzy's side.

Tentomon: Are you alright?

Izzy: Thank you.

Patamon: T.K. !

T.K.: Thank you, Patamon!

Gatomon: Kari, are you hurt?

Kari shook her head.

Kari: No

Meiko smiled at Biyomon,

Meiko: Thank you, Biyomon.

Cassie and Luna helped Meiko to her feet,

Jeremy looked at Leomon.

Jeremy: Do you have any idea what's going on?

The lion digimon shook his head.

Leomon: I have no idea whatsoever. It is almost like the Digital World is attacking us...

Skylar frowned.

Skylar: Like a virus...

Matt turned and started to walk through the wilderness.

Matt: This way.

He took a step forward and the ground glitches out from underneath him.

Matt: Huh?

T.K.: There's no ground.

All of them started to slide down another slope.

Skylar: This is not my idea of fun!

Once the kids landed on the ground. The slope behind them dissolved away in data.

Mimi blinks.

Mimi: It...doesn't hurt?

Jeremy: That's strange...I would've thought falling like that twice would've hurt.

Cassie nodded.

Cassie: It is strange

The kids looked down and noticed that they all had landed on their digimon partners.

Skylar: I am so sorry.

Labramon looked to be in a daze.

Labramon: Food...

Skylar sweat drop.

Skylar: I think you will be okay...

Cassie giggled.

Cassie: You can say that again.

Cupimon had her eyes close as she was being held gently in Cassie's arms.

T.K. look over at his brother.

T.K.: For now, it seems like nothing's coming after us.

Tai: What's going on? I remember when we first came here, we were attacked by Kuwagamon.

Skylar: Please don't remind me...

Sora: But we were never attacked by the forest plants before.

Kari frowned.

Kari: They detest us.

All of the kids looked over at kari.

Leomon blinked. The lion digimon was trying to crack his back.

Tai: What?

Kari: The Digital World...detests us. They think we're a nuisance.

Joe: What do you mean the digital world thinks we're a nuisance?

Luna: It doesn't make sense. Weren't we chosen for a reason? Why would it detest us?

(Maki's office)

Daigo: Is there really nothing left that Meiko can do? Isn't there still hope?

Hackmon: There is no time. The judgement has been made.

(Digital world)

The kids were all surrounded by the campfire.

Jeremy was sitting with Mimi next to him. Mimi had her head resting on his shoulder. A frown was on the light brown hair girl's face.

Skylar was sitting next to Joe. The red head girl was staring down at her digivice.

Cassie and Izzy were sitting side by side as they held hands. While Izzy also checked data on his laptop.

Sora frowned.

Sora; It suddenly became night when it was bright just minutes ago.

T.K.: I wonder if this really is night?

Mimi frowned.

Mimi: Ugh, if we weren't in this situation, they'd look pretty like shooting stars.

Jeremy nodded.

Jeremy: I remember the digital world being a nice place for star gazing.

Joe: If they were shooting stars, I'd wish for them to take us home/

Skylar looked over at him.

Skylar: But we still have to save the Digital World.

Joe: I know...but I still have school work and-

Skylar: What's more important? Homework or saving the world?

Joe looked like he was having a tough choice between the two.

Skylar sighed.

Skylar: Let's make it easier. Homework or me?

Jeremy looked over at Joe.

Jeremy: Don't mess this up.

Joe: Ah...

Skylar left eye twitched. She slapped Joe in the back of the head and walked off to stand near the end of the cliff side.

Joe: Sky...

Cassie: Don't worry. Skylar knows that school work is important. Or at least I hope she does. But right now. I think protecting people she cares about, is on top of the list.

Joe nods. The blue haired boy felt like he should've been the one to know about this. Skylar was after all his girlfriend.

Matt: We've got to get back somehow. We gotta stop Meicoomon.

Tai looked over at Izzy.

Tai: Izzy, isn't there a way to find the distortions and get home?

Izzy sighed.

Izzy: I've been trying to locate the distortions this whole time...(no results flashed on his laptop)...but it's no use.

Meiko: I...couldn't stop Meico.

Mimi: It's not your fault, Meimei!

Meiko: I am Meico's partner. But...I couldn't...

Luna move over to sit next to her younger sibling. The bearer of protectiveness smiled softly.

Luna; Meiko...being partners doesn't mean everything will go the way you plan. It' s just a way thing goes. Just know that Cassie, me, and everyone else will be here for you. Every step of the way.

Jeremy: And on this day. Luna's heart grew three sizes.

Luna: (snapping) Watch it Heinz!

T.K. smiles at what Luna said.

Mimi is smiling down at Palmon in her arms.

Skylar slowly back to the gang and carefully picked up the sleeping Labramon.

Meiko slowly looked around at the group. At how well they were with their digimon partner.

Meiko: I've been observing everyone's bonds with their partners. Each connection is different...but a strong tie is always there. I wonder if me and Meico have that?

Cassie places a hand on her twin's sister shoulder.

Cassie: (softly) Meiko...Do you remember when we were little girls?

Meiko nodded.

Cassie: It was six years ago. It happen to be around when you got Meicoomon. I...was always jealous of the friendship that you two shared. I wanted to have a friend like you did. (Cassie looked up with a reassuring smile) Meiko I know you and Meicoomon share a connection. I have always seen it, you just have to snap her out of whatever trance she is in.

Sora nodded.

Sora: Isn't that why you came all this way to see her? So you don't run from the fact that you're her partner. No matter what happens.

Meiko: But...Meico transformed, because I came...

Tai: What...

T.K. : What do you mean?

Meiko: I'm sure it's because of me.

Everyone looked at Meiko with a frown.

Meiko: What was I chosen for? I can't do anything. Moreover...Meico's...

Mimi: MeiMei...

Meiko recalls Meicrackmon trying to attack her.

Meiko: I'm scared. If I can't do anything, why was I even chosen? There should've been someone more worthy than me. It's all because I was chosen. That's what caused all of this!

Skylar placed a hand on her shoulder.

Skylar: Don't say that. We all come to the same thought, one or a few times. Why wasn't someone else chosen. Hell with my boyfriend, I swear he asks that question every day.

Joe: Hey!

Skylar: You know it's true! Don't deny it! (Skylar looks back at Meiko) Don't doubt yourself. You are as much as part of this team as anyone else. We wouldn't want anyone else.

Leomon got up from where he sat.

Leomon: I will keep first watch. You should all go to sleep.

The kids all nodded. and one by one fell asleep.

SO yay part 1 down. So yeah...no so much to add to this part...because it was way too hard. I will try harder. But I hope you guys like my addictions so far.
