Mark: Okay, so it was the beginning of summer, and my friends and I were going to celebrate, but some reason a storm came by and gave us these weird gadgets, called digivices. Then, suddenly, we were sent away and landed in a strange world called the Digital World, and met these strange creatures called digimon. One digimon in particular, Flymon, attacked us and suddenly our digimon evolved and defeated that thing, but now were ready to fall off.

The group was passed out on the ground, after falling from the cliff they were swept away by a huge wave of water, and landed on the shore passed out. Polarmon was pumping Jonathon's chest to get some water out from him. After what felt like hours, Jonathon coughed out some water, and started to wake up.

"Oh man what happened?" Jonathon said.

"Oh nothing, just you and the team getting swept away by water," Polarmon said. Jonathon looked at him shocked, but Polarmon giggled, "but don't worry me and Zaamon was able to help you guys."

Jonathon smiled. "Wow, you and him, by yourself?" Jonathon asked. Polarmon nodded. "Wow! Thanks, um," Jonathon stopped realizing, Polarmon was no longer in his In-training form, but now in his rookie form.

"Polarmon." Polarmon replied. "I'm Polarmon now."

"Oh, Polarmon." Jonathon said.

Ashley, who was now already awake, looked at Chaffmon. "So your not Chirpmon anymore?" She asked.

Chaffmon giggled. "No, I'm still the same Chirpmon, I just digivolved into Chaffmon. New person, same me." She said.

Ashley smiled. "Well you look great." She replied.

"Thank you." Chaffmon replied.

Kenny looked at Iramon, who was in his arms. "So your not Puffmon, but-"

"Iramon! Right!" Iramon beamed, cutting Kenny off.

Mark then looked at his digimon, Inkmon. "Same with you, Inkmon or whatever?" Mark asked.

"Right, when we met I was Wanwamon, now I'm Inkmon!" Inkmon said with smile.

Frances smiled, and spoke up. "I think we get it, well kind of. You guys evolved now to something stronger." She said.

"Right!" Melodymon said.

Mark smiled at his friend. "Inkmon, thanks for you and your friends saving us back there." He said.

Inkmon blushed. "Aww, no problem that's what we do." He said.

"Really, you guys fight?" Mark asked.

"Of course, were called Digital monsters for a reason!" Autumnmon said.

"If it weren't for us, you guys would be Flymon lunch by now." Zaamon said. Everyone looked at each other and then around the woods.

"Speaking of which, were is Flymon?" Iris asked.

"I think since the water swept us all away, were far from Flymon now." Chaffmon said.

"Yeah, but still, Flymon could fly so it might be out there searching for us." Inkmon said.

"Well, that only means one thing." Mark said. "Were going to walk to find help."

Ashley glared. "What!" She yelled. "Mark were in the middle of no where, got swept away from where we landed, and you want us to walk with a giant bug flying around!"

Mark glared back. "Well do we have any choice!?" He yelled. "If we walk, we might find someone who could help us, or another way to get back home, if we keep staying here, there might be more digimon that might attack us." He yelled.

Chaffmon went next to her partner. "Come on you two, stop fighting, besides were here just incase Flymon or any other digimon try to attack." She said.

Ashley sighed and looked at Mark. "Lead the way, leader." She said.

"Wow! Leader! I like that!" Mark said with a smile. Ashley sighed and the group followed Mark.

The group was walking around the island, for what felt like forever. "So Inkmon, were there people like us in the digi world?" Mark asked.

Inkmon thought hard and well. "Not sure, you guys might be the first. If they were then I don't know." He said.

"Why did you say 'might'?" Mark asked.

"We've been on that island for a while, so we honestly don't know if humans have walked the digi world." Inkmon said.

"Really, do you guys know how you got there?" Benjamin asked.

Zaamon shook his head. "Nope, we were just on the island, and you guys found us." He said.

Frances was looking at Melodymon more, who the later started to catch on. "What's wrong Frances?" Melodymon asked.

"Nothing, I'm just wondering since you digivolved, will you get more stronger?" Frances asked.

"Right, were at rookie level, and soon we can be more stronger!" Melodymon cheered.

"So what level were you guys in when we met?" Benjamin asked.

"That was our In-training level." Zaamon replied.

"So you guys are going to get stronger and bigger?" Mark asked.

"Right." Inkmon replied.

Mark smiled. "Awesome! I can't wait to see what you'll become!" He cheered. Inkmon smiled at his friend.

Kenny sighed seeing how warm it was here. "Wow, its warm here." He said pulling from his collar. Iramon then went on Kenny's head and opened up his ears.

"This should help, my ears are like clouds so now you have some shade." Iramon said.

Kenny smiled. "Thanks, Iramon." Kenny said with a smile.

"Do you like this cool breeze Ashley?" Chaffmon said, flapping her wings making a cool breeze for her.

Ashley smiled. "Yeah its nice, thanks Chaffmon." Ashley said.

Chaffmon smiled. "Anything for you." Ashley and Chaffmon smiled at each other.

"Hey Iris!" Autumnmon cheered. "What's in your world?" She asked.

"Oh, well nothing really, it's just normal." Iris said. Autumnmon said bouncing next to her partner.

"Well to me your world sounds amazing!" Autumnmon cheered.

"Its not I promise you." Iris replied.

"Well, I never been to your world, so I hope to visit it one day." Autumnmon said.

Iris sighed being tired of Autumnmon's talking. "I think my dad will loose it if he saw you." She said.

"Same with my parents." Mark replied. "In fact our friends and family would think we hit our heads because of this."

"What's a family?" Zaamon asked.

"And what are parents?" Sakuramon asked as well. Everyone stopped to look at the two and back at each other and continued walking. "Hey wait! You didn't answer our question!" Sakuramon yelled catching up to her friends.

The group kept on walking, when something caught Polarmon's attention. "Hey guys can you see it? Literally can you see the sea." Polarmon said.

Everyone squinted and saw a dark blue outline. "Yeah, I do." Lilly said.

"I see it as well!" Ashley said. The group then runs to the beach, except for Zaamon and Polarmon who decided to swim all the way there. The group finally made it to the beach, and saw there was a small boat.

"Hey look, a boat." Benjamin said. The group went up to it, and saw it was big enough to fit all of them.

"And look we can fit!" Mark cheered. Everyone went on the boat and sat down.

"Zaamon and I will be in the water, we can swim." Polarmon said.

Benjamin and Jonathon looked at each other confused. "You guys sure, it might be a long way to get home." Benjamin said.

"Its fine, both of us well be okay." Zaamon said.

"Alright! Let's sail away!" Mark cheered, as he and the group rowed away from the beach. "Aw man I can't wait till were home!"

The group kept sailing for a while, until they hit land. "Where home!" Mark yelled. He then gasped seeing they were back where they started. "Were back where we started!" He yelled.

The group was lying down on the beach, under a tree in the shade, thinking of what to do now. "I'm tired." Lilly said, lying down on the sad.

Jonathon's stomach rumbled, and he sighed lying down next to Lilly. "And I'm getting hungry." He moaned.

Mark sighed, feeling his stomach as well. "Yeah I haven't eaten since we got here." He said, and gave a smile. "I guess taking a lunch break won't be too much." However, Mark realized something. "If were going to have lunch did anyone bring any food?" He asked.

Ashley went through her pockets and grabbed her digivice. "I only have this, sorry." She said showing her digivice. She looked at it again. "Wait, it's a different color now, it was different when we got it now it changed." When they got their digi vices it was once pale blue, but now, well, for Ashley it was sky blue with white buttons.

Mark went to his pocket and saw his digivice was grey with red buttons. "Yeah mine is changed as well." He said.

"It must of happened when our digimon, digivolved when fighting Flymon." Kenny said looking at his green with brown button digivice.

Iris's eyes widen remembering the light when their digimon were fighting Flymon. "Oh yeah I remember now. I wonder why that happened?" She asked herself.

"Hey guys!" Frances called out, removing her backpack. Once she opened it, it was filled with snacks like cookies, crackers and some sandwiches. "I brought over a huge lunch for the picnic we were supposed to have." She said.

"Wow! That looks so good!" Melodymon said looking at all the food.

"Not bad, but I bought food as well." Kenny said grabbing his backpack, which had more snacks and even candy.

"Wow!" Iramon cheered as sparkles appeared in his eyes. "That looks yummy!"

"Thank you!" Kenny replied.

Jonathon looked at the food and back at the digimon. "What about you guys? Would you like some of this?" He asked.

"Don't worry, Digimon hunt for their food. Plus we could look for berries and fish for later." Zaamon said.

"But, there's a problem." Chaffmon spoke up. "The berries are way to far."

"And we have to swim far away to catch fish." Sakuramon spoke up as well.

"Don't worry you guys, we have plenty of snacks here that could last us days, so we'll be fine." Mark said as he and Inkmon ate some of the cookies.

"Oh my these are so good, I never tried anything this yummy." Inkmon said enjoying the cookies.

"Yep those two are a team alright." Ashley said.

After a moment of setting up the snacks, the digimon looked ahead and felt the ground. Chaffmon, Iramon, Melodymon, and Sakuramon looked ahead to see a giant dinosaur looking digimon.

"What's that digimon?" Mark asked as he and Inkmon looked up to see the digimon.

"That's a Monochromon! They usually appear in mountains, but what is one doing here?" Autumnmon explained.

"I think it wants to fight us." Polarmon said coming over to the other digimon.

"Agreed!" Inkmon said coming over to the digimon. The Monochromon roared and ran towards the group. "Inky Sludge!" Inkmon shouted by shooting some ink at Monochromon's eyes. Monochromon roared as the ink caused him to be blind.

"Cloud Pummel!" Iramon shouted using his ears to punch Monochromon, but to the later, it felt like being hit with a ball. Monochromon head butt the small digimon to the ground.

"Iramon!" Kenny called out running to his digimon partner.

"Rhythm Paw!" Melodymon yelled, but Monochromon head butted her back. Frances ran up to her and held her.

"Icicle Beam!" Polarmon shouted.

"Bubble Punch!" Zaamon yelled.

"Loving Feather!" Chaffmon yelled.

The three used their attacks at the same time, only for it not to do damage on Monochromon. Monochromon then shot fireballs at the three digimon getting them defeated.

"Chaffmon what's wrong?" Ashley asked caring her friend.

"Monochromon is just so strong, and were so week." Chaffmon was able to say due to the injuries she had taken.

"I think its because our digimon haven't ate yet, and Monochromon is stronger then our digimon." Benjamin suggested.

"Then its up to me and Inkmon to defeat this dino!" Mark yelled.

"Right!" Inkmon said. Inkmon kept on using his signature move Inky Sludge to weaken the Monochromon, but it seemed to do the opposite, and Monochromon was getting angry. Monochromon went to tackle a weaken Inkmon, as Inkmon fell to the ground. Mark gasped seeing his partner injured. Inkmon slowly tried to get up, but fell back down. Monochromon laughed and started walking towards Inkmon.

Mark glared and ran over to his digimon. "Mark no!" Lilly yelled.

"Inkmon no!" Mark yelled trying to protect Inkmon, and then suddenly, Mark's digivice started to glow. Everyone gasped seeing the moment happen.

Inkmon digivolve to, Shadowmon!

Shadowmon, almost looked like Inkmon, however with a few differences. Shadowmon was black, just like how he was, as Inkmon, only this time his spike color was gone and he looked wolf size. His paws had a mist through them, and his ears have a rip through them and his tail was no longer like a lion's but like a regular dog's tail, but it was so smooth the end of it was sharp like a knife.

"Wow! He evolved again!" Mark yelled.

"Yeah, now he's Shadowmon!" Zaamon pointed out.

Shadowmon chuckled. "Come on you big rock, want to fight!" He yelled. Monochromon growled and charged right at him, but Shadowmon dogged. "Spirit Flame!" He yelled blowing a huge purple flamethrower at Monochromon causing huge damage.

"Not only he's bigger he's stronger too!" Mark cheered.

Shadowmon laughed. "Oh yeah! I've been waiting for this!" He yelled. "Sprit Flame!" He yelled again, causing huge damage on Monochromon. Monochromon yelled in pain, and fell down to the ground. Shadowmon stand his ground waiting to see if Monochromon was defeated for sure. Monochromon stood up, looked at Shadowmon and walked off. Shadowmon sighed and reverted back to Inkmon.

Mark ran over to his digimon, and looked at him. "Inkmon, buddy, you okay?" He asked.

Inkmon slowly opened his eyes and looked at Mark. "Mark?" He asked. "Do you have any more food? I'm getting hungry again!" Mark smiled and hugged his partner as the two shared a laugh.

After a long battle, everyone finally got to settle down to eat. "So how do you guys like it?" Kenny asked.

"This is so good." Melodymon said as she ate.

"I agree." Iramon said agreeing with his digimon.

Inkmon was also eating again, but something came to his mind. Mark started to take notice of this. "Inkmon, is everything okay?" He asked.

Inkmon nodded. "I'm just thinking that's all."

"About what?" Mark asked.

"About Monochromon, how would one be here, most live near mountains." Inkmon explained.

"Yeah, your right." Chaffmon said.

"Do you think the food lead it here?" Zaamon asked.

"Maybe, but honestly I don't know. We don't know." Iris said.

"Well that means we keep going!" Mark said.

"What!" Ashley yelled.

"If what they're saying is true, that means this place is a huge mystery, and if it's a huge mystery, that means we can solve why we're here!" Mark explained.

Ashley gave a small smile and got up. "Well your right about us going home." She said.

"Same!" Kenny said.

"So everyone ready?" Mark asked.

"Yeah!" The group cheered as they were on their way! Or, so they think.

On a giant screen monitor someone was watching the group since they got to the beach. The person played through the fight Shadowmon had with Monochromon and chuckled. "Master." A voice said. The person turned around facing some digimon in the shadows. "What are we going to do about them?"

The person chuckled. "Don't worry, I'll have something in store for them. Just keep on traveling my foes, I'll be waiting for you." The figure then laughed evilly as it echoed through a castle.
