Simon groaned softly as he heard his alarm clock going off. The boy sleeply reached over to the clock and slammed his hand over the snooze button.
When the incessant noise finally ceased, the boy sighed in relief. And sat up in his bed. Rubbing his face softly with his hand. For the past two years, Simon had made sure that his sister was able to get up from bed and get out the door on time for her morning class.
The hispanic slowly stood up from the bed. He cracked his back by pressing his hands in the middle and slowly leaning backward. Rewarding him with a satisfying 'pop'.
"There we go " he whispered sleeply. The boy reached down to his nightstand to pick up his brown D3. A device that he only had used to travel to the digital world. Unlike his friends Davis, Yolei, and Cody. He still hasn't found his digimon partner... which made him feel slightly left out.
He knew that Jeremy didn't have a partner either at the moment. But, the boy couldn't help but feel not included in the team. If he wasn't out there, helping the others kick the digimon emperors butt. What was the point of him even being there? He felt like a cheerleader or a water boy.
Simon opened the door to his sister's room. His sister was lying face first on her bed. Her hands sprawled along the bed in an upwards postion. Making the twenty year old sister appear as if she was trying to reach for the ceiling.
Oliva snored softly as she rested her head on top of her pillow. Simon made his way over to his sister and placed a soft hand on her back as he gently started to shake her.
"Hmm... five more minutes" Oliva groaned from her sleep. The young adult grabbed her pillow and rested it over the back of her head.
"Come on, sis, hora de levantarse de la cama." (Time to get out of bed) Oliva she moved the pillow off of her head and tossed it across the room. The twenty year old slowly sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes softly. "Thank you, mi hermano." (my brother)
Simon nodded and strolled out of her room. He made his way into the kitchen. And turned on the coffee marker. Where he had already set up the coffee grounds from the night before. And the machine kicked on with a soft hum. And the coffee had started to brew. Sending a nice fragrance into the air.
The boy pulled out a drawer and pulled out a pan from under the oven. And placed it on the stove. Where he had started to prepare an omelet. He placed some cheese and red peppers. He folded the omelet over and placed the omelet on a plate. Oliva walked in behind him. Wearing a business formal outfit. A long sleeved black jacket and a black skirt.
Oliva stared over the food that Simon had prepared for her. And she frowned softly. "Oh... Simon, you didn't have to go out of your way to make that much for me. I was just planning to stop by the Royal Bean. And maybe pick up a small pastry." As she said this, she pulled her purse over her shoulder.
The Royal Bean was a local coffee shop that was just across the street from their apartment complex. And at the thought of the place, caused Simon narrowed his eyes. That was a place where their parents used to take him and his sister all the time. He hasn't been there ever since their passing.
"Why?" He asked in almost a whisper. Oliva raised her eyebrow. "I'm just a huge fan of their coffee. Plus, i think you should have a break in the mornings at times." Oliva ruffled her little brother's hair.
Simon stepped away from her. His frown still plastered across his face, and his eyes downcasted. "Our parents...abounded us..." He said through gritted teeth.
Oliva gasped silently. "Simon... please don't tell me you think like that. Our parents loved us... and they sacrificed themselves so we could live a happy life."
Simon stared up at his sister. "Our parents forced us...to live without them. You are working a full-time job...and you are attending college. That's a lot on your shoulders and to top that all of you're raising me. I would be better off if you left me in that foster care..."
Oliva shook her head. "Simon, don't you dare talk like that!" She snapped. Tears stung her eyes as she yelled at him. "Our parents loved us so much, and their last moments were to protect us!" She slammed her hand on the countertop to cause Simon to flinch a little. Never seeing his older sister act like this before. "You don't know what I had to do. What I had to endure to make sure that I would be able to get you back. How much I had to go through! To make sure I wouldn't lose you too."
Oliva bit her lip and shook her head. Utter pain covered her features. "I need to head off now." She wiped her tears with the back of her hand. With that, Oliva turned away from Simon and made her way to the door. She stopped with her hand on the door handle, her hand seeming to shake visibly. "Simon...I hope you have a good day at school. I love you, mi hermano . Please don't think wrong of our parents."
With that said, Oliva opened the door to their apartment and walked outside. She pulled the door shut and locked it behind her. Simon stared down at his feet after his older sister left. "She just doesn't understand. How can she not see that our lives are a living nightmare?"
(An hour later)
Simon frowned as he walked down the sidewalk. What had occurred this morning is still fresh in his mind.
"Hey Simon!"
Simon peered over his shoulder. To see Jeremy Heinz hurriedly making his way after him. Simon stopped in his tracks and waited for his friend to make his way over to him. "How are you doing this morning?"
Simon sighed slightly and rubbed his temples. "I'm doing alright, I guess." He grumbled. He knew he didn't sound alright. And he knew Jeremy was going to question him further.
The middle schooler raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you're alright?" Simon could see in Jeremy's eyes. That his friend did not trust his lie whatsoever.
Simon sighed and placed his hands in his pockets. The boy would rather not talk about what occured this morning. But felt like he would break down sooner or later.
"We, l this morning, my sister and I kind of had a fight." The young boy tighten his grip on his backpack straps. A soft breeze of wind blew through his short hair.
Jeremy tilted his head. "What was the fight over? My siblings and I have fights every once in a while."
Simon frowned and stared down at his feet while he was walking. He was watchingng as his shoelaces tap against his shoes. "Well... we were arguing over our parents. You see... our parents passed away when i was rather young. And when that occurred, i was sent away to an orphanage. My sister wasn't of age to take care of me. But because she didn't have a job, she wasn't suitable to take care of me."
Simon grew quiet as it appeared that his memories were flashing through his head. "It was rather tough on both of us. She was trying so many things to make sure that the two of us would stay together. And...the orphanage wasn't the nicest place for me to stay in."
Jeremy blinked in surprise. He would've never guessed that someone like Simon had been in foster care. Or that he was struggling to find himself. These past few days that he was able to get to know him.
Simon appeared to be someone who was outgoing. He was funny and always tried to act smoothly towards girls. Even though his eyes seem to be on Yolei.
"I'm really sorry to hear that." Jeremy wishpered. The hispanic boy shrugged his shoulders. "It's not your fault. It's just... my sister does so much. You know people her age shouldn't be worrying about their little brothers. Her mind should be focused on school and work."
Jeremy chuckled softly. "Simon, I understand your concern. But i'd imagine your sister doesn't mind. You mean a lot to her and in my eyes. You are taking care of her."
Simon was taken back when the fourteen year old announced this. He couldn't see how he was taking care of his older sister. "What do you mean?"
"Well, from what you told the others and I. You take care of the apartment you guys live in. You do the cooking. Plus, you make sure your sis gets out the door on time." The older boy smiled gently. "But if you don't like looking at it like that. Just think of this, you two look out for each other. Siblings are supposed to have each other's backs. No matter how much you two bicker. A siblings bond is stronger than anything."
Simon grew quiet once more. Not knowing how to respond. Jeremy just didn't understand. He told himself.
Later that day in the computer room
"Hehe, you can't catch me!" DemiVeemon laughed as he ran underneath the tables.
Poromon was flying after the small dragon. "You won't be laughing for that much longer, Demiveemon."
Kari watched this little situation with a soft smile on her face. "Those two are so cute." She giggled.
Yolei peered up from the computer she was typing on. "You say that now. But you have to remember. Those two are little trouble makers. So you have to keep your eyes on them."
Demiveemon stopped in his tracks. "Hey, i don't cause too much trouble." He whined softly.
Poromon tackled the small dragon digimon from behind. Causing the small intraining digimon to tumble about. And to tangle Demiveemon amongst computer wires.
"Gotcha! Your it!" Poromon flew off as he giggled.
"No fair"
Yolei pushed her glasses onto the ridge of her nose. "I rest my case."
Kari rubbed her hand along the top of Gatomon's head. As she stared over at the lavender hair girl. "Oh, come on now. Those three are cute. They are almost like kids. So you can't be too harsh on them."
"Why we're you and I, put in charge of watching the digimon again?"
Patamon flew over and sat on Kari's head. "Because you said you wanted to show Izzy. How great of a computer expert you are" He answered honestly.
The lavender hair girl blushed softly. "W-Well" The door to the computer lab opens up. Davis, along with Cody, Jeremy, Simon, and T.k. walked in.
"We have everything." Simon grinned as he held up the bag from a nearby restaurant. Willow's peak.
Yolei stood up from her seat. "Great, I'm starving." The girl took the bag from the hispanic boy and started to search its contents.
Simon placed his hands behind his back. And gave the girl a cheeky smile. "I remembered to grab exactly what you wanted."
Yolei raised an eyebrow. "Is that so." She gave him a curious smile. "Did you remember to ask for the chicken with broccoli to be diced, not shredded?"
"Yes, I did."
"How about asking for brown rice instead of yellow rice. Even though it says on the menu that they only provide yellow." Simon held up a container of rice for Yolei to see. "Yep"
Yolei smiled in amusement and placed her index finger against her chin. "How about remembering to get the spicy hot mustard instead of honey mustard?" She asked rather curiously.
Simon's face instantly paled as he realized that he had indeed forgotten something after all. "U-um well I."
Yolei patted him on the shoulder. "You got the wrong mustard, didn't you?" She said with a teasing smile. "Better luck next time." The lavender haired girl teased as she playfully patted him on the shoulder.
Upamon appeared to be slightly confused. "What is mustard?"
"Mustard is a type of condiment that you put on top of your food. Condiments add another flavoring to some foods you eat." Cody explained as he made his way over to his partner.
"Ooo, i think i would like to try some of that mustard then."
"I would too! U-Um once i get untangled, of course."
Davis looks around for his partner and lets out a surprise gasp. "Demiveemon, how did you get all tangled up in those cords?" He asked as he got down on his knees and started to try to untangle the tiny little dragon.
"Poromon knocked me into them."
"That isn't true at all. He's just clumsy." Poromon stated as he flew on top of Yolei's head and settled there.
"Clumsy, huh?" Yolei raised an eybrow.
"Mmhmm."
Simon frowned as he stared between his friends, talking with their individual partners. The way Gatomon was curled up in Kari's lap and fast asleep. As kari rubbed her back softly.
Patamon was on top of T.K.'s head. As the boy made his way over to Davis. Who was still struggling to free his partner. But only seemed to be making things worse. "Come on, Davis, have you ever learned how to untie a knot before?" The blonde boy asked in a teasing voice.
"Well, of course i've learned how to untie a knot, TJ."
T.K. rolled his eyes and started to work on untie the knot with a small. "And you still haven't remembered my name. It's T.K. not T.J."
The hispanic boy wished he could talk part in their conversations. With his own partner. Wondering what kind of personality his partner would have. If they would get along right away, or if they wouldn't see eye to eye.
Yolei started to unpack some of the food from the bags. "Why are we standing around for? Let's go ahead and open some of this food up. Before, we all take a dive into the digital world."
Jeremy chuckled as he grabbed a plate and started to fill it with some ramen noddles. "Of course, we wouldn't want to go there on an empty stomach." He agreed.
The others quickly made their way over and started to grab their own plates. Smiles on their faces as they filled their plates with food
Simon remained where he was. Not feeling like his usual self. He didn't want to join in with his friends. Why should heanyways? He didn't have a digimon partner.
"Mm,m" Upamon hummed aloud. "This mustard is really delicious with my ramen."
"Hey Simo, are you alright?"
Simon stared up from the desk he was sitting at, up at Jermy. The brown-haired boy was holding two plates in his hand. "Aren't you going to eat?"
Simon rubbed his hand along the back of his neck. A sheepish look still on his face. "E, i'm not really that hungry."
Jeremy raised an eyebrow and pulled up a chair across from him. "Does this have anything to what you told me this morning?"
The others glanced up from their meals. "What happened this morning?" Kari asked softly. A concern look lined her face.
Simon quickly looked away from his friends. His hands bawling into fists. "It's none of yours guys concern."
T.K. was rather taken back by this. The blonde looked slightly dumbfounded. "Come on, bud, we're all here together. Don't forget that we are all a team and we have each other's backs."
"That's just it. I'm not apart of this team! I don't have a digimon partner! How does that even make me a memeber? I feel left out. What is even the point of me being a digidestined!?" He asked angrily.
Yolei was opening her mouth, getting ready to say something. When the computer terminal, she was earlier lit up. And a small metallic 'ding' was heard. Silence crossed the room as the lavander hair girl stood up from where she sat and crossed the room.
"Huh? Guys, we just received a voice mail from someone in the digital world." She announced.
"Huh?"
Everyone gathered around behind her. "Who's it from?" Cody asked softly.
Yolei adjusted her glasses as she shrugged softly. "It doesn't say, but there really is one way to find out." The girl took a deep breath before she clicked play.
The group was stunned to see what appeared to be a human girl staring back at them.
"Hello, digidestined," the girl curtsied. Her voice was filled with elegance, and she held herself as someone from royal class. "My name is Sistermon Noir, and I call upon you all. I need your help to save my sister. She has fallen slave to the digimon emperor's evil, and i need your help at once. Please meet me in Freezeland at once. I must save my sister. You all are my only hope." The digimon in front of them faded into nothingness as the video stopped playing.

"We should go and help her." Patamon said aloud, breaking the silence first.
"I'm unsure about that. What if it's all a trap." Yolei pointed out with a worried look.
Kari frowned. "She looked so worried though, and her sister is in trouble. I know if Tai was in danger, i would want all the help i can get to help him."
Simon pulled out his brown D-power and nodded. "Kari's right, we should go. Someone needs our help." The hispanic boy started to type in some commands on the keyboard. "Right, that should be right where we need to go." The boy held up his D3. "Digi-Port open!"
With a sudden flash of light Simon was pulled into the terminal.
"We better go after him." Jeremy suggested. The others quickly agreed, pulling out their own D3's. With holding out their devices to the screen. Soon, all of them found themselves in the middle of the woods. Snow covered the ground every ehich way they looked. And the trees were decorated with crystal blue ice.
Simon was a few feet ahead of them. But the Hispanic boy was sprawled flat out on his back. As two digimon had tackled him on the ground.
"Help us!" The first one cried. The digimon appears to look like a wolf. The creature had light blue fur. She stood about three feet tall, and her eyes were a vibrant yellow. In the center of her mane was a cresent moon with a heart crossing it.
"She's after us!" The other one whined. This digimon was smaller than the first. Standing on all fours, this creature was dragonic in appearance. Having a combination of dark blue and light blue scales. Her horn and talons were made of glowing light pink ice.
"U-um who's after you?" Simon asked, slightly puzzled. The boy was rather taken back from these two digimon tackling him out of nowhere when he first got through the digigate.
"Are you alright, Simon?" T.K. asked as he quickly made his way over to his friend. The others quickly follow behind.
Canamon and Glaciamon finally seemed to peer over Simon's shoulder. Noticing the other humans and digimon for the first time.
"Please help us"
"We're being followed."
Kari frowned as she placed a hand over her chest. "Who's following after you guys?" A look of worry showed in her eyes.
"I-it's Sistermon B-Blanc." Glaciamon answered, tears appeared in her light blue eyes.
"She isn't acting like herself. It's almost like she is possessed by something." Canamon added.
"This has the digimon emperor's name written all over it." Yolei crossed her arms over her chest.
Hawkmon nodded to agree with her. "She must be controlled by one of his dark rings. That must be causing her to attack these innocent digimon."
Simon slowly moved the two digimon off his chest and stood up to his feet, dusting himself off.
"You all made it" a female voice said aloud. Relief filled the young voice. Everyone quickly turn their heads in the direction of the voice. To see the young woman from the video.
"It's Sistermon Noir" Jeremy pointed out. The digimon nodded and made her way over to them.
"Thank you all for coming on such short notice. I truly appreciate all of you coming. I truly believe not to ask for others' help when it's your fault in the first place."
Jeremy tilted his head slightly. "Well, what do you mean? Why do you believe that it's your fault?"
Sistermon stared down at the ground. "Well, to be quite honest, I never really noticed the changes in my sister, but supposedly, it has been going on for a while now. She seemed to be her normal self. Taking care of injured digimon or playing with the younger ones. But we had a huge argument." She rubbed her arm uneasily.
"Well, what was the argument on?" Jeremy had asked a look of puzzlement lined his face.
Sistermon took a soft breath as she stared at the faces in front of her. "It all happened a few days ago -"
(Four days ago)
"Put some more force into your strikes."
Sistermon Noir smiled as she watched from inside the shade of the cave. It was a beautiful day. The sun high up in the sky, and the sounds of birds whistling overhead. A soft breeze filled the air as it blew through the trees over head.

In the middle of the clearing in front of her were two figures. The first figure was a rather tall masculine man. Who had spiky red hair and a well trimmed beard. A metallic visor covered his eyes. The man wore a jet black jumpsuit, a metallic plate covered his chest, and he also had on brace silver knuckled gloves. Over his broad shoulders, a white bancho jacket hung over it. Underneath his feet, the man wore red wooden clogs. The man held his right fist out as if he had just blocked an attack.
In front of the man was a metallic dragon like creature. The small being was painting heavily as it stared at the ground that he was slumped on. A red cape was tied around the creature's neck. The cape was draped over the digimon's back as it lay on the ground. "I-I'm do-doing my hardest Gankoomon." the dragon said in a raspy voice, trying to catch his breath.

Gankoomon shook his head. "Clearly, you are not doing everything you must. If you ever have the hope of becoming a royal knight. You better be prepared to give it your all and to do whatever it takes to become a true knight."
Sistermon Noir smiled softly. Gankoomon's teachings may seem to be rather tough at times. But she truly believed that the royal knight was doing everything in his power to help Hackmon become a better fighter.
A small whimper came behind her. Sistermon Noir peered over her shoulder to look over at her shoulder to see her younger sister. Sistermon Blanc was holding her trident close to her chest as she peered at the event in front of her. "I-I feel like mister Gankoomon take things way too far sometimes."

Noir smiled warmly as she turned toward her sister and placed her hands on either side of her shoulders as she stared down into her eyes. "Sister, I know you have a very precious heart. You truly don't like seeing others getting hurt. You would rather see mister Gankoomon treat Hackmon kinder."
Her sister nodded softly with a soft frown. "Hackmon always ends up so injured after their training regimens. I can feel so drained of energy after I use my healing powers. It really isn't fair for Hackmon to be tossed around like that. He should be able to have a nice clean fight without being severely injured."
Noir only softly smiled at her sister. "Yes, that may be so. But this is the way that Gankoomon trains his pubils. I have shadowed him for years, helping him train each one after the other. But none of them have made it this far as Hackmon, our master truly sees something in him that he hasn't seen in the others."
Blanc grows quiet as she stares down at the ground. Her eyes seem to be downcasted. "You're wrong." She whispered.
Noir seems to be taken back by her younger sister. "What do you mean?" She asked, walking forward to place a soft hand on her sister's shoulder.
Blanc slapped her hand away, which took Noir by surprise, never seeing this type of attitude from her sister before. "But why?!" She snapped. "He shouldn't be treating him this way! Hackmon is our friend! We should be treating him kinder, its always training with Gankoomon. Hackmon barly even has time to sleep." She complained.
"Blanc-"
"Just listen for a moment!" Blanc yelled , er eyes shut tightly, and her grip ttightened on her trident. "How could we merely sit on by and allow for this to happen? We are supposed to be keeping Hackmon safe! And how could we do so if his own master harms him more than the digimon that attacks us!?"
A slap echoed across the air, and Blanc gasped. Her left hand slowly moved up to her cheek as tears filled her eyes. She winced as her soft hand touched her burning cheeks and she slowly opened her eyes to stare at her sister in front of her, she held her hand high in front of her and a look of regret.
"I-I'm...so sorry...Blanc. I-I didn't mean to." Noir felt her world shattered around her. As she stared into her younger sister's face. A look of complete pain covered it and utter betrayal.
Blanc turned on the heel of her shoes and started to sob loudly as she raced out of the cave. Gankoomon and Hackmon had been making their way over to the cave to see what the commotion was about. But was surprised when Blanc ran past them with tears streaming down her face.
"Sistermon!" Hackmon called after his friend, as a look of worry crossed his face.
Blanc continued to run past him, not stopping for a moment to talk, as she bolted into the woods.
Noir slowly walked out of the cave, and shock filled her mind.
"Noir, what happened here?" Gankoomon asked.
Noir placed a soft hand over her lips as she wondered how much information she should give him.
"I-I..." Noir couldn't speak. Complete dread covered her being.
Gankoomon pointed off into the woods in the direction that her sister had run off. "You should go after her. You can tell me everything later."
Noir nodded and stared to dash off. Her hands balled into tight fists as she jumped over foliage and logs. Her adrenaline was pushing her forward. A sudden scream filled the woods. Which caused Noir's heart to stop for a moment. Making her realize that it was her younger sister.
"Blanc!?" She cried out. Heading off in the direction of the scream.
Noir couldn't help but fear the worst. Imaging running into a small clearing and spotting her young sister slowly being deleted in a spiral of data and a larger digimon towering over her.
Noir wouldn't want that fate to bestow on her sister. Even though she knew that her sister would be reborn. She didn't want that memory to haunt her dreams.
"It's all my fault." Noir spoke through her tears. I shouldn't have slapped her. I should have spoken things out with her. If anything happened to her, i would never forgive myself.
"Take that!" A large beam of holy energy crashed into the ground in front of Noir. Causing the frantic sister to come to a quick halt.
Noir gasped as she looked ahead of her. Her sister was glowering at her as she held her trident out in front of her. Noir would have been more taken back, but all came clear when she noticed a black ring around her sister's neck. It all came into place. The digimon emperor had gained control of her little sister... and she couldn't put herself in the position to fight her.
(Present)
Noir grabbed the edge of her skirt tightly as she stared down at the ground beneath her. Feeling so much pain crossed her mind. "I-I couldn't do anything but run for safe grounds...ever since then, my sister has been guarding the dark tower and attacking the innocent digimon in the nearby town." She informed the digidestined in front of her. Wondering what could be crossing through their minds.
"That's terrible" Kari whispered
Noir nodded gently to agree with her. "I know... I do not deserve the help from you all. I should be the one who should be charged with fixing this problem. But i really can't bear the thought of fighting my sister..."
T.K. shook his head. "She doesn't mean that at all. Kari just meant that it was terrible that your sister was taken over by the digimon emperor."
"Yeah, don't worry. With all of us here, we will be able to free your sister in no time." Veemon said with a warm smile.
Simon seemed to be in a trance the entire time the story was being told. I'm kind of surprised how the events seem so similar to the ones that happened this morning between him and his own sister.
Noir sniffed softly as she wiped away tears that had started to form on her cheeks. "Thank you so much for your kindness. I truly don't deserve it."
"Come on now, Noir. We have to get a move on and help your sister out. With our digiamour, we will be able to get rid of that dark ring around her in no time!" Yolei pointed out.
Cody placed a hand to his chin. "We could try to plan a way of a surprise attack and catch her off guard."
Canamon and Glaciamon nodded to agree with him. The two ice based digimon seem to like his idea. "There are some trenches that we know about, that would be a great place to hide."
"Then it's settle. We should head to the trench!" Davis was cut off when Noir held up her hand to silence him.
"Wait... I know about the digimon amour you all possess right now. Courage, love, and knowledge. But for some reason, i truly feel like one of you should gain control of the digiamour of forgiveness. Maybe the powers will help guide you to save my sister."
"The digiamour of forgiveness!?" T.K. asked in surprise.
"Wait, aren't the armors supposed to be based on the nine crests? I don't remember hearing anything about forgiveness." Kari whispered as she looked over at T.K.
"Maybe they're are more out there than you guys know about." Jeremy suggested. "The digital world has a lot of hidden secrets."
Noir nodded gently. "He does speak the truth. There are more than just the nine you know about. Some recorded amongst our records; and others hidden away in the darkest reaches of the digital world. However, you are wrong, bearer of light. There are some digimon who believe that the armor came before the crests. In the beginning of the digital world, it was hard for some digimon to digivovle naturally. So using alternative forms of evolution allowed them to do as such."
Noir turned away from the group and started to walk off in the direction of the moutains. "Please follow me. I will lead you to the whereabouts of the armor of forgiveness."
With a quick glance and a nod, everyone quietly followed after Noir. Wondering which individual in the group would owned the armor of forgiveness
Canamon and Glaciamon are watching after them with a hopeful look.
(Cave)
Noir took a deep breath of fresh air as she stepped out in a clearing in the middle of the cave. Sunlight peered from a hole in the ceiling above them. A small pond was directly in front of them, and a waterfall directly behind it. The water that crushed down from the falls almost appeared to be magical as it caused smooth riplets of water to form in the pond. In the center of the pond was a small tiny island, where a small basin was in the shape of a carved swan. It wings held up proudly over its head and its beak pointed to the ground. On the center of the bird's neck was a small carving, which everyone assumed to be the symbol for forgiveness.
"This place is so beautiful." Yolei spoke with a look of disbelief.
Armidillomon pointed a claw finger at the swan basin. "There it is, everyone."
Kari nodded and walked forward, wadding through the pond carefully in front of her. Gatomon sat down on her shoulder as she approached the basin carefully. Kari placed her hands on either side of the swan carving and tried to pull on it. But the swan stayed glued to the ground. "It won't budge," she announced.
"Maybe you're not pulling on it hard enough." Veemon suggested
Kari shook her head. "I don't believe it's mine."
One by one, everyone else stepped forward, ending up with the same results.
"Who could it belong to then?" Davis asked as he tried lifting the basin for the third time.
Jeremy took a deep breath and got down on his hands and knees as he placed his hands on top of the armor. "You know... I have a funny feeling that this armor will belong to Simon " he announced for everyone to hear.
Simon blinked in surprise. "Don't joke around like that, bro. There is no way that someone like me would hold the power of forgiveness. I'm so bullheaded for the most part."
Yolei snickered as she crossed her arms. "You could say that again, Rodriquez."
Simon ignored the lavender haired girl and stared closely at the digiamor intently. There is no way that thing could belong to me... Especially with the way i acted towards my sister this morning. It would almost be laughable for me to get the armor of forgiveness. What digimon even lays underneath the thing? It's obviously girlish...so there is noway he would be partnered to it. There has to be another digidestined that hasn't been called upon yet.
Jeremy gritted his teeth and started to pull on the armor with all his might. "It won't budge" he grunted as he fell backward on his butt, landing into the pond with a thud.
Which earned the boy a few fits of laughter all around. Jeremy peered over his shoulder at his friend. "Looks like it's definitely up to you, amigo
"
Simon shook his head. His friend couldn't be right. There is no way that he possesses the requirement that the armor of forgiveness required. Simon wadded through the water's, and gasped.
As a weird feeling started to wash over him. A feeling as if he was being drawn towards it. As if something was becknoning him forward. What's in this water?
"You don't know what I had to do. What I had to endure to make sure that I would be able to get you back. How much I had to go through! To make sure I wouldn't lose you too."
Simon eyes shook as he heard his sister's voice in his head. The shackness that filled it. The look of pain that showed in her eyes.
She doesn't hate me... she only wanted to look out for me. She only wanted to remind me how much our parents truly loved us and cared for us. My sister may have a lot on her plate... but i'm sure she doesn't mind. At the end of the day, Oliva is my older sister... and she will always love me. No matter how many times i mess up or fail.
I'm sorry sis. Simon seems to stop in the middle of the pond, staring down at the water beneath him. "I'm sorry, mom and dad...." he said quietly as he bit his lip softly. Tears threatning to escape the corners of his eyes. Hell... I should even be sorry for myself... I forgot who i was and allowed anger to flood me. I allowed it to blind me and the person i wanted to be.
"I'm sorry..." A tear fell from the corner of Simon's eye, and it landed in the water below him. When his tear drop landed in the water, the water glew a faint blue.
Simon stepped forward and placed his hands around the cool basin, and lifted the swan carving up with ease. When the digiamor was removed from the ground, a beam of brown light shot up into the air.
This caused Simon to take a few steps back in surprise. Realization finally sets into his mind. Simon realized he was about to meet his digimon partner.
"Come on, please be something cool." He whispered to himself.
A small figure started to take shape in the brown beam. Before suddenly a figure hop out with a sudden cry.
"Simon, it's a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance. It's been far too long." The digmon announced as he held a wing hand and bowed lightly in front of him. "My name is Hyokomon, and it would be my honor to be your digimon partner."

Simon blinked as he stared down at the chicken digimon before him. The green ribbon that was tied around his eggshell covered his body. Did he just get himself partnered to a cutesy digimon?
This is what he got for yelling out at the digital world for an awesome digimon. If their were gods or rulers for the digital world. He could easily imagine them laughing down at him at this point.
"Is everything alright, Simon?" The bird digimon asked sligntly puzzled. "Do i have something on my beak?" The chicken digimon used the back of his wing to wipe off his orange beak self-consciously.
Simon shook his head and rubbed the back of his neck. "Nothing is wrong, little dude, i just expected you to be a little taller." And cooler.
(Elsewhere in the digital world)
Wormmon was humming softly to himself as he was sitting on top of a metallic dashboard. The rookie level digimon held a small feather duster and was dusting off the screens in front of him.
A small beeping noise was heard in the room, but the small green bug like digimon chose to ignore it. Choosing that it was for the best. "I need to make sure this whole place is spotless." He said aloud. He was looking over the dashboard for any signs of dust.
A sudden new noise caused Wormmon to look over his shoulder. The sliding door opened up for a moment. A blur of long pink hair was seen for a breif second. Which caught the rookie digimon off guard. "Who's there?" He asked out loud.
No answer was given, and with a shaky breath, the worm shrugged it off and continued to work on the dusting. Thinking that it could just be a figment of his imagination.
The door slid open again. This time, Wormmon quickly spun around. "I finally caught you!" The worm shouted at the top of his lungs. The rookie digimon was pointing his feather duster at the figure standing at the door.
A low growl emitted from the digimon emperor as he stood at the doorway. His hands slowly bawling into fists as his eyes narrowed. "What in the name of heck do you think you're doing?" He asked through gritted teeth
Wormmon panicked as he noticed the blue haired boy walking over to him angrily. "I'm sorry, ole dark emperor. I-I thought i had spotted someone earlier. D-did you happen to bring a friend? I-I always hoped you would make one."
"Friends?" The emperor laughed. "Who needs friends, when you can rock at this awesome game. In this world, i am seen as a ruthless king. No one will stand in my way. And soon, those pesky brats will bow before me, and their digimon will be working for me."
The emperors gaze turned to the computer that was beeping earlier. Pure anger crossed his face. "Wormmon! Why didn't you check the computer. It seems those brats came back into my lands, sticking their noses where it doesn't belong."
He slammed his fists on the control panel. "I need to make sure that those brats are dealt with." He sat down in his rolling chair and scanned through his comput , to see if a controlled digimon was in the nearby area. "Ooo, this one will do the trick. Go get th, m Sistermon Blanc!"
(Cave)
"A, w he's soooo cute!" Yolei squealed as she held her hands together. The lavender haired girl was standing beside Simon as she admired Hyokomon's appearance.
"I'm not cute,i'm i'm a warror." The chicken announced as he held out his sword in his right wing.
"Naaaaawwww"
Simon groaned slightly. How could this be happening? This had to be some sort cruel joke.
Kari hummed to herself as she placed a hand to chin. .
T.K noticed Kari's reaction and leaned close to her. "What's up?"
"I don't know...it's just kind of odd, you know. So far, Cody, Davis, and Yolei all got their partner digimon based on one of our original crest. So why was Simon's partner under a crest that wasn't originally part of our team."
"Well, maybe Gennai would know the answer." Gatomon suggested.
T.K. rubbed the back of his neck. "He probably would know the answer. If we knew where he was." He grumbled.
"Golden crush!" A feminine voice screamed. Everyone's heads shot off in the direction of the voice. All to see a young girl in a white dress, holding a golden trident. She slammed the tips of her trident into the ground, and the ground underneath everyone's feet. Causing everyone to yell in a panic as the ground started to shake.
Noir gasped as she noticed her younger sister. "Blanc, please snap out of this!" She cried out.
"You won't be able to control me anymore! I will end all of you!" She screeched as boulders started to ran down from above.
"Watch out, Davis!" Veemon cried. "Vee head butt!" The reptile digimon crashed his head into a rock that was close in falling on top of his partner's head.
Davis winced as he noticed the rubble that landed around him. "Okay... this is started to get out of hand, guys." The boy pulled out his blue D3. "Digiamour energize!" He shouted out.
"Veemon amour digivovle too...Flamedramon the fire of courage!"
"Fire rocket!"
Hawkmon and Armidillomon turned their heads over to their respective partners. "We better amour digivovle as well, Cody."
"It probably would be for the best." Hawkmon agreed.
Cody and Yolei nodded as their pulled out their respective digivices. "Digiamour energize!"
"Hawkmon amour digivovle too...Flybeemon the fighter of knowledge!"
"Armidillomon amour digivovle too...Pteranomon the steel wings of love!'
"Jeremy, get over here!" T.K. shouted where he and Kari stood. In the far corner of the room. Where Gatomon and Patamon were making sure their partners were save from incoming debre or attcks from Blanc.
Jeremy nodded and started to dash in their direction.
Hyokkomon smiled up at Simon. "It's our turn, Simon."
Simon took a deep breath and nodded. Wondering what the rookie digimon would change into. With one hand, he held out the armor of forgiveness, while with the other, he held out his D3. "Digiamour energize!" He shouted.
The armor of forgiveness let out a bright white glow as it started to activate.
"Hyokomon armor digivovle too..."
The small chicken digimon merged with the armor of forgiveness.
Hyokkomon was surrounded by a white haze. As images of a Cupimon, Swanmon and Luminamon appeared behind him.
The mist cleared away as the new digimon spread out his long white wings that seemed to glimmer.
The large bird let out a loud caw. As it stood its ground. "Caladrimon! The song bird of forgiveness"
As the white light disappeared, a large bird like digimon took Hyokomon's place. The bird towered over the other armor digimon. Simon was amazed to see his partner digimon like this. Having a face structure of an eagle and a sharp golden beak. Along the bird's chest was a silver brest plate that had the carving of forgiveness at its center. Glowing around the radios of the armor digimon's wings was a glowing yellow ring. The creature was a mixture of intimidation and an elegant sight.
"This is so cool" Simon whispered in awe. I completely take everything back from a few seconds ago. Thank you, digital world!
"Let's go, Simon," the newly evovled bird digimon announced. Simon grinned from ear to ear as he got onto Caladrimon's back. Gripping his hands lightly into the bird's white feathers. "Let's do this!"
Caladrimon narrowed his eyes as he took flight. Flying around the falling debre and making his way over to Sistermon Blanc. Simon held on tightly as he felt wind pushing against him. A determined look plastered on his face.
Caladrimon narrowed his eyes as he reared his head back. Closing in on Sistermon Blanc. As she lifted her trident from the ground. Causing the shaking in the cave to cease.
"Divine peirce!"
Caladrimon quickly flew out of the way of the incoming trident. Holy energy is forming in front of his beak. "Caliber screech!"
Blanc cried out as she skidded backward. The human like digimon gritted her teeth as she took a direct hit from the blast.
"Please be careful with my sister." Noir pleaded.
With electricity gathering around his wings. Flybeemon took this opportunity to bawl his fists. "Let me zap you into next week. Lightning sting!"
Blanc held out her hand as her trident flew into her open palm. Holy energy surronded her trident as she slammed the butt end of trident into the ground. "Protect wave!" A holy feild of energy protected her from the blast of electricity.
Pteranomon soared down from above. Flying low to the ground, keeping himself behind Blanc as she casted her sheild in front of her.
"Sharp wing!" He roared as his boosters caused him to speed up and stabbed Blanc's back with his beak.
Blanc sheild disappeared as she fell forward. Sprawled out onto the ground with her arms held out in front of her.
Blanc gritted her teeth as she tried to stand up to her feet. Flamedramon held out his claws. "Stay still." He warned.
Noir carefully stepped forward and kneeled down in front of her sister. "Please, sister, please fight the control of the digimon emperor. I'm so sorry for what happened yesterday. I-I wasn't thinking. I didn't mean to strike you. Please forgive me."
(Elsewhere)
"No, this is not acceptable. I can't lose again." The digimon emperor placed an ear peice against his ear. "Listen to me, Sistermon Blanc. I want you to make sure you prevent them from defeating you. Protect the control spiral at all cost!" He shouted in the mic.
"I'll do anything for you, digimon emperor." Blanc's eyes narrowed as she started to glow with light pink energy.
"Mode change." Noir eyes widened as she quickly took a few steps back from her sister. "Watch out!" She warned everyone else in the room.
Blanc's appearance started to change. Growing taller in height. Now standing about the same height as Jeremy, being the tallest out of everyone there. Standing at 5'11. Her dress started to legthen, and gold fabric started to appear at the end of the seems of her sleeves and skirt. Her bunny cap grew as well, the ears draping down to her hips, as the last change in her shift was her trident becoming longer in length, and sharper at the points.

"Sistermon Blanc awaken!" Pink energy surronded this new form of Blanc as she finished her transformation.
"This doesn't look good at all." Yolei said fearfully. "Our enemies never done that before."
"Be careful. My sister is a lot stronger now. Don't take her attacks lightly."
Blanc hopped up from where she had layed before and screeched as she slammed the butt of her trident into Flamedramon's chest. Causing the dragon digimon to slam into the stone wall.
Static electricity sparked to life as she held out her trident. "Stay away from me!" She let out a blast of staic at Pteranomon. The mechinal digimon eyes grew wide as he did a barrol roll to invade the blast of static.
"Watch out!" Cody cried out.
"They need our help!" Gatomon shouted as she pounced forward, with Patamon flying quickly behind her.
"Electric paw!"
"Boom bubble...pah!"
"Neddle stinger!"
Blanc growled as she saw the incoming attacks. She twirled her trident in her hands expertly and striked Gatomon in her chest, sending her rolling along the ground.
"Protect wave!" A golden haze covered her as she held up trident. Blocking out the two other attacks. Blanc narrowed her eyes as she cast her sheild at Patamon and Flybeemon, knocking the two digimon out of the air.
T.K. eyes grew wide. "What's even going on?!"
Kari shook her head. "It's almost like Cerubumon's mode change, into werewolf mode." She pointed out.
(Digimon emperor)
"Yes! Finally, those little pest are finally getting what they deserve. I will finally have them out of my way, and the digital world will fall before me."
Wormmon stared closely at the screen in front of him. His head slightly tilted, and he gulped as he realized dawned on him. "Um...digimon emperor?"
"What is it?! DON'T YOU SEE I'M FINALLY WINNING?!" He snapped.
"I have heard tales about Calidrimon...supposedly they are classified as bird and angelic digimon. Supposedly, they are supposed to take some viruses on itself and destroy it."
"What?!"
(Cave)
Calidrimon narrowed his eyes at the display in front of him. "Hold on, Simon. I only have one shot at this."
Simon raised an eyebrow but did as he was told. He tightened his grip on his digimon partner.
"Heaven's forgiveness!" Calidrimon roared. Light purple energy surronded the bird like digimon as he soared overhead. Letting out a feirce cry as he grabbed onto Blanc's shoulders and carried her away from the others.
The energy and the force that came with Calidrimon flying so quickly. Caused Simon's eyes to grow wide as saucers. "Holy cow!"
Blanc screamed as she was lifted from the ground. Trying to use her trident to break free from his hold. But Calidrimon's grip on her shoulders were too strong.
"We're are they going?" T.K. asked, puzzled.
"Let's go after them." Jeremy suggested. The others nodded to agree with him and quickly dashed outside of the cave.
Caladrimon flew up high into the sky. The purple energy that had surronded him from earlier, started to drift towards Blanc. The purple energy seeped inside of her digicore.
Blanc eyes closed as the purple energy started to change to a black energy. This energy started to seep back to Calidrimon. The collar around Blanc's neck fell off. Freeing her from control of the emperor.
Blanc eyes closed as the dark energy left her body, and she went limp in Calidrimon's talons, reverting back to her previous form.
Calidrimon flew in front of the digital world's sun and cawed loudly, as the darkness that consumed him, dispelled out in thin air.
"Amazing" Kari whispered in disbelief.
Simon threw his hands up in the air. "Oh yeah! That's my digimon partner! You're the mon man!" Just as the hispanic started to cheer. Calidrimon let out a little. "Ah, oh..."
Calidrimon was surrounded by light purple energy as he started to dedigivovle in midair. The digiamour of forgiveness is stored into his d-terminal.
"Really digital world!?" Simon cried out in dismay.
"Pteranomon!" Cody shouted quickly, pointing out towards Simon. As he started to fall towards the ground. The armor digimon quickly flew off quickly and caught Simon. The hispanic held out his arms where Blanc landed safely in.
"Thank you, Pteranomon."
"Don't mention it"
Hyokkomon landed on Simon's head and smiled happily to himself. "I hope i redeemed myself for how i appeared to you earlier."
Simon blushed softly as he suddenly realized that Hyokkomon knew why he appeared to be upset. "U-Um, can we talk about this later?"
The samurai bird digimon chuckled. "Of course we can."
(Later)
Blanc stared down at her feet as she stood in front of her sister. Her hands held together. "I-I'm sorry...for how i acted earlier..."
Noir shook her head and placed a hand softly on her sister's shoulder, squuezing it gently. "I should be the one apologizing. I should've never slapped you."
Blanc let out a little whimper and wrapped her arms around her sister quickly. Noir smiled softly as she returned her sister's embrace.
Simon couldn't help but smile at this display between siblings. "I don't want to ruin the moment between you two. But there is still a control spiral that we have to wreck." He pointed out.
"Of course" Blanc nodded.
(Emperor)
"Not again!" The digimon emperor grunted as he watched Flamedramon knocking over the tower. "Why do those kids keep sticking their noises where it doesn't belong?!" He snapped.
Wormmon tapped his feelers together. "Well maybe...you could finally win against them. If you found your own armor, sir."
The emperor blinked at this idea. "Wait...are you suggesting i could find the armor they use, to use against them?" He placed a hand on his chin and hummed to himself, a slow sneer spreading across his lips. "I knew there was a reason i kept you around Wormmon."
(Human world)
Simon was standing in the kitchen. Humming to himself softly as he stood at the stove. The smell of chicken drifted to his nostrils as he flipped it on the pan.
When the spiral was knocked down. His friends and him had said their goodbyes to the sisters and went on their separate way.
But before he had gone home. Jeremy had pulled him aside, and he had smiled at him. "Do you know what you have to do, bud?"
Simon remembered how he had felt when Jeremy asked this. He had felt nervous. Even more so embarrassed... he truly lost his cool this morning with his sister.
Just as he turned away from the stove. The door to the apartment opened, and his sister trudged in with a sigh. "Hey, little bro. What's cooking?"
Simon grinned. "I'm making my world's famous grilled chicken with yellow rice."
"Modest, are we?"
Simon shrugged with a coy smile. "I get it, honestly."
Oliva rolled her eyes as she sat at the kitcen table. Placing her purse down, she sighed gently and turned towards him. "I'm sorry... Simon. For this morning. I know how difficult it may be for you. I know... you really don't like talking about what happened. And you still may feel the pain from losing our parents. B-but i shouldn't have yelled at you."
Simon shook his head and sat down in front of his sister. "Please don't apologize, sis. It's my fault. I lost my cool and pulled all the blame on you. I thought you had so much on my shoulders. That you shouldn't be worrying about taking care of me."
Oliva giggled softly. "You dork. It's my job to worry about you. I'm your older sister. I will always be here for you."
Simon smiled and gently nodded. "And i can't thank you enough for that." he stood up from where he sat and hugged her. Oliva seems to be a little taken back by this. But she returned his hug with a smile of her own.
"Hey sis...after we eat. Do you want to go together and leave flowers for mom and dad?"
Oliva eyes grew wide at this suggestion. Simon never went along with her. "O-of course."
Chicchimon listened in to their conversation from Simon's room. The small in traiming digimon had a cheeky smile on his beak. "I sense great things from him."
