With the bright flash of light. Tai, Skylar, Davis, T.K., Kari, and Jeremy appeared from a computer. And landed right on top of the kids watching from the computer.

Izzy cried out in pain. As he was one of the unlucky people who was crushed. "Hey, get off! You're crushing my brownies!" he whined.

Skylar gasped at this news. The red-haired girl narrowed her eyes and said. "And you weren't going to share!?"She placed her bawled fist on either side of her hip as she beamed down at him.

"Where are we?" Tai asked as he rubbed his aching head. 

Everyone was slowly getting up to their feet. 

"This is the computer room." T.K. exclaimed. 

Skylar shook her head. "If it isn't obvious already... you are in a rude awakening." She teased her friend. 

Cody stared in surprise at the kids who had just come out of the computer. "Hey, when you guys came through the computer, where did you come from?" He asked in shock. 

Davis smiles as he holds out his hands for emphases. "Where? The digital world! That place is the coolest ever! There we were, when suddenly a dinosaur-like Digimon attacked, and I jumped into action." Davis said with a confident smile. 

Jeremy laughed as he shook his head. "Veemon had to save you..." 

"Be quiet," Davis snapped. 

Yolei clapped her hands. "Enough!" She shouted to get their attention. A smile grew on her face as she pointed back to the computer. "Let's go back." 

Simon nodded to agree with her. "Hey! Let's go. It would be a blast. I wouldn't mind a Digimon partner." He exclaimed. 

Yolei nodded to agree with him. "I wouldn't mind having a Digimon partner. Maybe I would get a plant like Digimon, like that girl named Mimi." She suggested. 

Cody frowned when he listened to Simon and Yolei. "I think we've had enough excitement for one day." He said aloud. 

Skylar pointed down at the kid. "I agree with this kid. You know I like this kid. I agree with his logic." She nodded with a smile. 

Cody returned the smile. "Thank you." 

Yolei frowned at her friend. "Don't you want to go to the digital world, Cody?" She asked with a confused look. 

Simon held up a fist as he grinned. "Where is your thrill of adventure?" 

Cody nodded. "Of course, seeing those monsters would be fun, but tonight's macaroni and cheese night at my house, and I don't want to miss out." He pointed out. 

Yolei and Simon both came to realize that it was getting late. They both looked outside to see the sun had started to set. The lavender hair girl frowned. "I was really looking forward to going to the digital world." She mumbled. 

Tai snapped his fingers. "Oh, that's right. It's pork surprise at my place."

Skylar grew ill. "Isn't the surprise that the pork isn't properly cooked?" Tai sadly nodded, and Skylar patted him gently on the back to comfort him. 

Izzy grinned. "Stuffed green peppers and a salad."

"I will be making Sopa Seca." Simon saw the confused stares in the room. "It is a Mexican noodle casserole," he explained.

Skylar shook her head. "Well, too bad, I'm getting pizza." She cheered as she threw her hands in the air. "But I wouldn't mind some ice cream too." 

Yolei blinked as she looked over at Simon. "You can cook too?" she asked rather surprised.

Simon winked at her. "Yes, indeed. My big sis taught me how." he began smiling flirtatiously at the lavender hair girl. "Maybe you and I can have dinner some time," he suggested.

Yolei rolled her eyes. "Maybe in your dreams." She scoffed. 

Simon grinned mischievously. "Don't worry, I will change your mind one of these days. All the ladies can't resist my charms." 

Kari and Skylar both laughed. "He's worse than Davis." They laughed in unison. 

Jeremy rubbed his arm sheepishly. Gosh...where will that leave me? What about my parents, for that matter... Wouldn't they still be in Florida?" He thought in his mind. He didn't know where to go. Was his family even in this world? Skylar looked over at him, and  through her facial expression, he knew she was going to talk to him after this.

TK was talking to Kari. While everyone else was going on about Simon knowing how to cook. "So what great dinner, is your mom making tonight?" she asked with a smile. T.K. laughs and puts a hand on his forehead. "Nothing that fancy, just  TV dinners and a microwave." 

They all started to leave the computer lab. Knowing that it was time to go their separate ways. They all agreed to meet back here after school the following day. As they walked out of the classroom. Yolei huffed and folded her arms over her chest. "No fair! I wanna go!" 

Simon shrugged. "You and me both. Can you imagine what crazy things we would be able to see?" He asked her. Yolei nodded. Excitement starts to appear on her face. "I know!" She bawled her fists. As she looked Simon in the eyes. "Do you think we will see crazy things like Izzy and his friends?" Simon shrugs. "Who knows? The future can only tell." He laughs. 

TK smiles at the two of them. "Don't worry, you two, you'll both get your chance. Skylar nods to agree with him. "Yep, soon you will be fighting all kinds of cool creatures." She said with a smile. Yolei eyes grew wide. "When?!" 

Izzy snapped his fingers. He quickly runs back to the computer lab. "Oops. I almost forgot to turn off the computer." Skylar and Jeremy followed after him. And a surprise look was on the red-haired boy's face. "The gate's close!"

Skylar and Jeremy turned to face the others as they walked out of the school. "Have a good night, everyone!" She shouted with a smile. A few of them returned their own shouts of goodbyes. And Skylar and Jeremy were on their way home. 

Well... she was. He had no idea where he was going to sleep tonight. Skylar seems to break his thoughts when she looks over at him. Her hazel eyes seemed to almost sparkle when they gazed upon him. "So, what do you think of the digital world?" She asked. She put her hands behind her back as she leaned closer to him. "A lot different in person, right?" 

He nodded to agree with her. Jeremy felt himself blushing a little. "Yeah... the digital world is definitely different in person.  Skylar nodded, and they both started to walk again.

Why am I blushing? I only see her as a friend... right? He thought

She holds onto her purse tightly and smiles over at him. "You know..." She started to talk to me. "When we were in fourth grade... I always thought you were a stuck-up jerk." 

"Well, thanks." Jeremy mumbled. Even though he knew it was true. He did try to get everyone else's attention. And there was that time... that Jeremy was peered  pressured in reading her dairy over the intercom. Skylar looks down at the ground. He could see that she was upset about something. But she had a small smile on her face. "I wanted to thank you." My eyes grew wide. "Huh? For what?" He asked in complete shock. 

She looks up at me. And he swore the sun's light remaining light seemed to fall upon her. "If...it wasn't for you. I guess... I wouldn't have gotten my crest to work." Jeremy remembered that day. She had returned to their world. And her crest was corrupted from becoming evil Skylar. Which was a long story in it's self. But when he was being attacked by a NeoDevimon. She was able to make her partner digimon go ultimate. 

"You're welcome." Jeremy said shyly. For the reminder of the walk. They continued talking about school. And what happened in the digital world today. He could tell that Skylar already had a huge dislike for Davis. 

Skylar stops walking when she reaches her apartment complex. He stared up at the building and recognized it from the television show. Jeremy frowned when he saw this. He thought she was going to help me find my way home. She frowns. "Oh, don't worry, Jeremy. When I came to this world, I was slightly confused, too." She held up her index finger. "You see, Gennai once explained to me. That was when I crossed over to this world. My parents were pulled along with me. And we became part of this reality." She explained. 

His eyes grew wide at this knowledge. "Huh..." A smile grew on his face. "So that means my family should be here too." Jeremy said, finally understanding. She nodded. And patted his shoulder. "So don't worry about it. Try to call your mom." She writes something down on a scratch piece of paper and hands it to him. "That's my cell phone number. So once you find your way home. Don't forget to text me." She instructed. 

Jeremy nodded and took out his phone and called his mom. His mother picked up on the second ring. She sounded worried when she answered. "Hey Jeremy, where are you?"  He smiled as she answered. "Oh hey, mom." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I know this is going to sound awkward, but where do we live again?" He laughed uneasily after asking the weird question. 

(Elsewhere) 

Simon was standing in the kitchen. Making the last preparation for his dish. When his sister walked into the front door. His sister was Oliva Rodriguez. She was twenty years old and was currently in college. Her black hair was long and reached past her shoulders, some frizz stuck up at odd ends and angles. Her eyes were a soft blue, but behind them, Simon could tell that she was worn out. She was wearing a black blazer , black dress paints and black dress shoes. On her back was her backpack, and she was holding a single rose in her right hand. 

Simon's sister was currently in her first year of college. She was studying to be a lawyer. Wanting to follow in theirs, dad's footsteps. But during her time off. She would work at the local law firm as someone's assistant. So she would always come home late. She would be worn out and not be in the best moods. 

She sighed as she threw her bag on the couch. She slump down and whispered to Simon. "Is dinner almost ready?" She asked. Simon shook his head. "I just needed to add some special touches, sis." 

His sister frowned. She stared around at the apartment. Simon noticed her looking around as well. The apartment they lived in wasn't that bad. It was slightly worn down. And their was only one bedroom. Which his sister allowed him to sleep in. She would sleep on the couch. Everything used to be so different when mom and dad...

Simon didn't finish his thoughts. He went back to his casserole. He debated telling his older sister about the strange device he got today at school. But decided not to do so. He didn't want to freak her out. 

Oliva got to her feet and walked over to Simon. "How's school going?" She asked with a sleepy smile. She leaned up against the fridge and stared at him. "It's going well. I made some new friends. And Skylar is still helping me out with my studies." His sister smiled. "That's a good thing to hear about the friends' part." She slowly raised her eyebrow. "Did you invite Skylar over yet?" She asked. She crossed her arms over her chest. "I wouldn't mind personally thanking her for helping you study." 

Simon flinched. "I forgot." His sister sighed and shook her head. "It's okay." She let out a huge sigh. She stared down at the rose she was still holding. "Um... Simon." She stared to talk. Simon looks up from his casserole and notices what she was about to talk about. A sudden memory flashed in his head. 

"We love you" the words coming from his parents' mouths. Before they pushed him and his sister forward out of whatever harm was about to come to them. Simon closed his eyes and looked away from his sister. A sound of a heavy thud was heard in his mind. He shook his head. 

"Do you want to go with me tonight. So we can lay the flower for -" Simon shook his head. "Sorry... I have homework." He lied quickly. His sister nodded. She took a deep breath. "How much longer do you think it will take you to finish?" She asked. As she was gathering some things. Her purse, and she put on Black Nike shoes. 

"Probably twenty minutes" He answered. He didn't turn to look at her. He didn't want to show her that he had tears running down his face. Oliva heads towards the front door. "I'll be back. I am just going to leave mom and dad a flower." She walks out of the apartment and locks the door. 

Simon stands at the oven alone. A frown on his face. As the tears continue to fall. He missed his parents so much. And he didn't even know what happened to them. His sister covered his eyes, so he couldn't see. All he could remember was what they said to the both of them. A thud and his sister screaming as she held him tightly. 

Simon wiped his tears out of his eyes. And continued to cook. But his thoughts continue to go back to what happened. His sister was only sixteen years old when it happened. While he was only seven. At first, he had to stay at an orphanage. While his sister tried to fight for custody over him. For the longest time. No one said that she would be able to raise him alone. But finally, one of theirs dad's old friends. Offered his sister a job, and also offered to help get her through college. And with that news in mind, someone finally gave her custody over him. 

And from then on out. Ever since Oliva and Simon lived in the apartment. Oliva every month would buy a flower. And go to the part of town, where their parents had saved their lives. And leave a flower to honor them. And to tell them that they would make them proud. 

[Matt's band practice...]

Matt was placing his guitar in his guitar case. One of his band members looked up and stared at him in surprise. "You're leaving already, Matt? We're not done with rehearsal!" He called out to him. Matt waved behind him, as he called out. "Sorry, guys, there's something I've got to take care of."

Matt arrives at the playground. To see his friends waiting for him. Tk and Kari were both sitting on top of the monkey bar gym. Izzy was sitting on the ground, typing away on his laptop.  Sora and Skylar were sitting down on the swing sets. While Joe and Tai stood waiting for him. 

Tk looks up. And calls out for everyone else to hear. "Here he comes!" Tai looks over and sees Matt and smiles. He holds up his hand. "Hi Matt!" Matt high fives Tai. Skylar smiled up at him and stood up quickly. The red head walked over to him and placed a kiss on his cheek. "Hey, handsome. How was band practice?'

Matt blushed softly and shrugged lightly. "I'm doing fine. It went a little longer than it was supposed to be. Sorry I'm late, everyone." Matt grabbed Skylar's hand and stood by her side.

Joe frowned slightly at this and looked off to the side.

Sora looks around at everyone on the playground. "It's been a long time! It's nice to be back." Skylar nods to agree with her. "Defiently. It's so cool to hang out with the gang again. If only if Mimi was here. Then, we would be a complete team." 

(Cody's apartment) 

Cody was sitting on his bed. While he watched Yolei fixing his computer. "I wonder what it's really like. To travel into the digital world." He said aloud. 

Yolei frowns to herself as she fixes Cody's computer. I don't care if they don't want me along... tomorrow, I'm going to the digital world! That thought played in her mind. She wanted to see what the digital world really looks like. All those stories Izzy told them all were unbelievable. And she honestly needed to see them for herself. 

Ms. Hido walks to the doorway of Cody's room. She peers in and asks. "Yolei, will you be staying for dinner tonight? Mac and cheese!" She says with a smile. Yolei stood up and shook her head. "No, but thanks anyway. I have to get going." She dusted her skirt off and waved to Cody before she left. 

(Davis' bedroom) 

Davis was in his bed. He was holding his D3 in his left hand, and he was staring down at the screen. "Boy. I just can't stop thinking about Veemon!" He said aloud. 

(Jeremy's bedroom)

Jeremy walked into his bedroom. It almost looks the same as his bedroom in Florida. The same bed, the same bed sheets, same pictures, and posters on the wall. And he even had all of his clothes hung up on the closet. A big change with them being on hangers and not jumbled up on the floor. The only big difference was instead of his family and him living in a house. They now lived in an apartment. 

He sighed and sat on his bed. He pulled out his digivice. A million thoughts raced into his mind. But only one thought surfaced through all the others. "I wonder which digimon is destined to be with me." 

(Playground) 

Matt raised an eyebrow. "Digiarmour Energize, huh?" He looks slightly confused. 

Skylar nods. She holds up her index finger. "Yeah, it's really strange, but when you see it in person, it's a totally different story." She spoke excitedly. 

Tai nods and continues to explain in detail. "It was a form of digivolving I've never seen before! Somehow, Davis' digimon was able to digivolve, but Agumon and the others weren't!"

Sora looks over at Skylar. A surprise look on her face. "You mean Davis, from the soccer club, went to the digital world?"  Skylar nodded. "My friend Jeremy also went along with us. But he didn't get a digimon partner yet." 

TK snaps his fingers. "That's right! And the two kids from my apartment building, Yolei and Cody, also got new digivices!" 

Kari speaks up. "And don't forget about the kid from the swim team. I think his name is Simon." She added. 

Joe puts a hand on his chin. "Well, if they have digivices, that means they are the new digidestined." Skylar laughs and stands up. She smiles and says. "We have to teach them the ropes. It's time to pull out the books of how to be a digidestined."

Joe groans. "If only, then we wouldn't have to worry about being one." 

Sora frowns as she looks at everyone. "One question: If this Digimon Emperor is really hunting digimon and making them his slaves, will Biyomon and the others be okay?" Skylar's smile turned into a frown. She held a hand over her heart. "I hope so... I wouldn't forgive myself if Labramon was hit with one of those black rings..."

Kari nods sadly. "I got an email earlier from Mimi in America. She was asking the same question." Matt narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest. "Well, I say we go there. And do things our way." Izzy stood up from the ground and shook his head. "We can't. I went back to check the computer, and the gate was closed." 

Matt raised an eyebrow. "That means... we can't help them?" he asked, surprised. 

Skylar shook her head. "That's so unfair! Right when we can go back to the digital world. We're stuck back here on Earth!" She complains. 

Izzy closes his laptop up. He holds it by his side."I'm going back first thing tomorrow and checking the computer to see if the gate has opened up again."  Tai smiles and says. "I'm going with you!"

"And so am I!" Sora said, holding her hand up. Skylar quickly joined in and said. "Count me in!" 

TK and Kari nodded. "Mmm-hmm!" 

Joe shook his head. "I can't. I've got an oral test tomorrow on laryngitis." Skylar looks over at the blue haired boy and laughs. "Fancy" She teases. Joe blushes and says. "As a matter of fact...it's a really tough class that I shouldn't have taken..." 

Matt sighs. "Yeah, and my band's got a big concert coming up, and we need to practice." 

Tai smiles. "Don't worry about it! Just leave everything to us." 

Skylar nods and says proudly. "Yep, I can Skylar slap anything in a jiffy." 

"Okay, but let us know if you need us." Matt said

(The following day, in the computer lab) 

Izzy and Skylar were the first ones in the lab. Izzy was frowning as he was staring down at the computer. "Just as I thought. It's still closed. I need to find another way into the digital world." 

Skylar raised an eyebrow. "Can't you open it manually?" She asked. 

Yolei stuck her head in the class. "What are you both doing in here?" She asked. She walks into the room. Followed by Simon, Cody, and Jeremy. 

"Oh, hi. I was just getting more information on what happened here yesterday." Izzy explained to her. Cody frowns as he looks over at him. "I couldn't sleep last night. I kept thinking about it. Izzy, will you take me with you to the digital world." 

Jeremy smiles. "I wouldn't mind finding myself a digimon partner today." Simon looks over at him. "Oh yeah, that wouldn't be that bad of an idea. I wonder if my partner will be a dinosaur or something." He said aloud. 

Skylar looks up at everyone and shakes her head. "Sorry, the digigate is closed, and we can't open it..."

Izzy nodded. "Like Skylar said, I can't because the gate isn't...huh?" Izzy's eyes grew wide as the gate opened. "But, it's open!" 

Skylar grinned from ear to ear. " Wow, I call that good timing..." Jeremy nodded to agree with her. "No kidding." Davis walks into the classroom. With Sora and Tai following behind him. "How's it going, guys?" Davis asks. 

Sora waves at everyone. "Hi everybody!" 

A few minutes passed, and Izzy was busy working on checking information about the gate. While this was happening, Davis showed Sora the new digivice. "Those are the new digivices? How cool!" 

Tai nodded and put his hands in his pocket. "That's right! Those were the ones that were released from the digiegg when I touched it." He informed her. 

Skylar smiles proudly. "I guess we're their mentors." Skylar suddenly had realization cross over her face. She stares around at the four new children in front of her. "Now which one should I teach in the way of the Skylar slap?" She asks out loud. 

Everyone in the room sweatdrop.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Jeremy said aloud. 

Skylar quickly nodded to agree with him. "You're right. I shouldn't let my power fall in the wrong hands." 

Yolei bawls her fists. As she once again looks excited about going to the digital world. "Well, what are we waiting around here for? I say we go!" 

"I will tag along." Simon said, pulling out his brown D3. 

Davis holds up a hand. "Wait a minute. Maybe I should give you a couple of pointers on the things you're about to see." 

Jeremy chuckled. Before he said. "Yeah... like how to get scared by a Numemon." Davis narrowed his eyes at me. "Be quiet, you." 

Yolei rolled her eyes at Davis. "Give me a break. You've only been there once! What do you know?" 

Cody spoke up as he was staring at the ground. "I think we should be prepared for a little danger." Jeremy smiled down at the young boy. He knew that he was scared. But he wanted to make sure Cody had nothing to fear. "Definitely, but just stay calm, and we should all be fine." 

Cody sighs and nods. "Okay" 

Izzy looks up from the computer. "My suspicions were confirmed. I checked the other computers, and none of them seem to be affected by it. It's only open on this one. Also, the gate has never been opened two days in a row before!" He says to everyone in the room. 

"I guess that's a record or something..." Skylar laughs. 

Davis smiles as he holds up his blue D3. "Then I say we get going! All ashore that's going ashore." 

Everyone in the room nods. "Mmm-hmm!" 

A voice was heard from outside the classroom."Tai Kamiya? Is that you?" A teacher stepped inside the classroom. Tai and his friends gasped when they quickly knew who he was. "We haven't seen you here in a while. And Sora, Skylar, and Izzy are here too. Say, didn't you all graduate?" 

"Mr. Fujiyama! We did, and what are you doing here?" Tai asked. 

Skylar rushed over to the teacher. "I can't believe it's you. Did you get a haircut?" 

Mr. Fujiyama smiles between the two. "I'm the new head of the computer club. And yes Skylar, I did. How nice of you to notice." 

Tai, Sora, and Skylar all sweatdrop as they all asked in unison. "But what do you know about using computers?" Mr. Fujiyma laughs. "Not a single thing!"

Tai snaps his fingers. "I just remembered, there's something I need to talk to you about. Do you have a minute?" 

Skylar nods to agree with him. "Me too. If I understand something straight, computers have an on and off button, right?" She asks curiously. 

"Sure! I'll be glad to answer both of your questions. Tai asked first. So what's on your mind." Tai stared to push him along with Skylar out of the room. "I'm having problems adjusting to middle school. It's the girls. They're so much older." 

Skylar laughs. "Yeah, Tai is having a hard time talking to big girls." She teases her friend. "Hey!"

Sora smiles as she watches after her friends. "Thanks, Tai and Skylar. We owe you two." 

Izzy looks around at everyone. "Alright! Let's get going!" He instructed. Everyone nodded. 

Jeremy smiled and pulled out his orange D3. "Here we go again." 

(Transfer to Digital World) 

Once everyone appeared in the digital world. Izzy quickly looks around at everyone. "Is everyone okay?" Izzy asked. 

Jeremy slowly got to his feet and nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine." 

Davis rubs the side of his head. "Yeah, but I feel like I went through the rinse cycle of the dishwasher." 

Cody gets to his feet and stares around. A look of complete wonder on his face. "So this is the digital world?" He looks down at himself and sees that he is wearing a new outfit. "Hey, wait, I'm wearing new clothes! And they're pretty comfortable, too!" 

Simon stares at himself. He was surprised to see that he was now wearing a blue hoodie, black swim paints,  and black sneakers. "This is new. But it doesn't look too bad." 

Yolei smiles too herself as she sees what she is wearing. "Hey! I'm dressed like I'm part of the cool crowd!" 

Davis smiled at the others.  "I forgot the part about a new wardrobe." Jeremy nodded. "Yeah. Once you're a new digidestined. The digital world gives you some cool gifts." Yolei glances over her outfit again. "It sure does. I love this helmet! It makes my glasses look smaller! Wait until I tell my sisters I got  free clothes!" 

Simon raised an eyebrow. "I guess you get hand me downs?" he asked. Yolei nodded. "Yeah, my siblings tend to pass clothes down." She murmured. Simon looks up at her and smiles. "Well, if you ever want to hang out with me. I could offer to help pay for your clothes." Yolei's eyes grew wide. "You would do that? Wait, how do you even have any money?" Simon shrugs. "My big sis gives me an allowance every month." 

Yolei thinks about this. And she slowly raises an eyebrow. "Is this your idea of a date?" she asked suspiciously. Simon grinned. "How did you see through my charms?" Yolei rolls her eyes. "Not interested." 

Sora stares at the new kids with a frown. "Kids today have no sense of value. When I was a kid, I showed a lot more respect whenever I received a gift." She shakes her head. Jeremy holds up his sunglasses. "Well, I got these nifty sunglasses. Thank you, digital world." He says out loud. 

Sora chuckles. "Well, I guess that is a start." Kari sweat drops as she heard what Sora said earlier."I hate to say this, but you're sounding just like my mom." 

Sora laughs uneasily as she rubs the back of her head. She then frowns and puts her hands to her mouth. "Biyomon!" She calls out. Izzy quickly joined her and shouted. "Tentomon!" 

Elsewhere, the digimon emperor was smiling as he stared at the children on a screen. "I've been waiting for you to get here. Now let the games begin! Snimon, attack!" He pressed a few buttons, and a digimon appeared on the screen. 

Davis looks around in the wilderness. "Veemon! Where are you? Veemon!" Veemon pops out of the woods and waves at him. "Davis! Davis, I'm over here!" Davis grinned when he saw him. "Veemon!" Veemon gestured behind him to show Patamon, Gatomon, Biyomon, and Tentomon following after him. "I've brought Patamon and his friends with me." 

Tentomon jumps into Izzy's arms, while Sora catches Biyomon. 

"Tentomon!" 

"Biyomon!"

"Izzy! You're a sight for big, green sore eyes!" Tentomon said happily. 

Sora was smiling as she held Biyomon close to her. 

"I've missed you, Sora!"

"I've missed you, too, Biyomon." 

Simon tilted his head as he stared at the creatures. "Those are digimon. They don't look that harmful to me." He says out loud. Yolei nodded to agree with him. "I thought you guys said the digital world was a dangerous place." With that, a loud roar was heard from overhead. Everyone gasped as a Snimon flew from the top of the woods. It dived down towards Sora and Biyomon, with it's scissor like claws at the ready. 

Jeremy quickly look at the others. "We have to get out of here." He instructed. They all nodded, and they started to run away from the champion digimon. TK, however, stayed behind as he called out to Sora. Who still hadn't moved. "Sora, move!" TK tackles her out of harms way. 

Biyomon narrows her eyes. As she flew out of Sora's arms. "Spiral Twister!" 

"Boom Bubble!"

"Super Shocker!" 

The attacks bounce off harmlessly off the champion digimon. 

Gatomon pounces as electricity runs through her claws. "Lightning Paw!" When her fist collided with the bug digimon. She frowned as she fell back down. She didn't feel that much force from her attack. "Without my tail ring, I don't have enough power!" 

Veemon bawls his fists as he looks determined. "Don't worry about it! I'll just have to try armor digivolve. Davis, get the egg ready!" 

Elsewhere, the Digimon Emperor shook his head as he pressed another button. "Not so fast! This isn't a drill, Drimogemon!" He laughs as a mole digimon appears from the ground. 

Davis falls back on his butt. "Ahh!!"

Simon gritted his teeth as he took a step back. "Theirs, another one. And I am thinking this guy isn't a friend either." 

Tentomon nodded. "Drimogemon lives deep inside the cavities of the digital world. His drill spin attack will make you wish you were at the dentist!" 

Simon groaned. "Well, good to know." He rubs his face. 

Veemon runs over to Davis. A worried look was shown on his face. "Are you okay?" 

Digimon Emperor clicks another button. A twisted smile appears on his face. "You're up, Mojyamon! Show these meddling kids whose boss." 

Yolei screamed as the Yeti digimon appeared before them all. He was waving around his bone club. 

"Mojyamon is a frosty digimon that lives in the snowy mountains. His bone boomerang attack will make your head spin!" Tentomon quickly said to everyone. 

"Bone boomerang!" Mojyamon throws his bone club to his closet threat. Which happen to be Veemon. The blue rookie was thrown against the ground and cried out in pain. "Ahh!" 

"Veemon!" Davis said worriedly. He got up to check out his digimon partner. 

"Oh great... now there are three!" Jeremy groaned

"Veemon!" A hole opens up underneath the rookie digimon. And he plummets into the darkness below. Davis jumps in after him, and the hole quickly closes up afterward. 

Yolei covered her hands over her mouth. "Oh, my. They're gone. The ground just opened up and swallowed them." 
 
Cody eyes grew wide. Before he whispered shyly. "Well, I want to go home now..."

Simon stared at the young kid. "Don't worry... maybe if we all got digimon. We could help out." Simon pulls out his D3. "Come on, give a cool digimon partner. Maybe one who knows how to kick butt and take names. I don't want a dancing fairy like digimon." He said as he recalled Izzy telling them about Lilymon. "I want a wicked warrior like digimon. You got me?" The D3 didn't respond to Simon. 

Sora sweat drops. "The digivices don't work like that. And we don't choose our partners. They are just destined to be with us. When the time is right. You will meet yours." She explained. 

Izzy nodded to agree with Sora. " But first, we have to protect ourselves." 

Cody frowns. "But what about Davis?" 

Snimon roars as it flew over to them all.  Ready to attack once again. 

"Spiral Twister!"

"Boom Bubble!" 

"Super Shocker!" 

Sora narrowed her eyes. She needed to be strong for everyone here. "Davis will be fine. But our digimon are only at half-strength. We need to get away." She instructed. 

[The digimon fights more...]

Cody bit his lip. "This... this is just so wrong!" He said. He grabs the side of his head. "Who would treat these digimon like this?' He asked no one in particular. "When we met your partners, they seemed to be so kind. But why would anyone force these creatures to fight. This just isn't right!"  His eyes started to shake. 

"Calm down, Cody. Everything will be fine." 

Cody looks up at Jeremy. "You're wrong! The digimon emperor is just going to get stronger! He is going to try to enslave these innocent creatures!" 

Davis slowly wakes up and finds himself chained up against a side of a cliff. "Huh? Ah! Great, I must have been walking in my sleep again. Where am i?" 

The Digimon Emperor steps forward. He was standing on top of the cliff. "You're just hanging around." He smirks. 

"Who are you?" Davis asked angrily. The emperor smirked as he stared down at him. "I'm your worst nightmare come to life. I'm rather disappointed I was able to catch you so easily." 

Davis narrowed his eyes. "Are you the Digimon Emperor?" 

"Speaking!" 

Davis' eyes grew wide. He couldn't believe the digimon emperor was just a kid like him. "But you're a kid, just like me." 

Digimon Emperor frowned. As if Davis just insulted him. "I'm nothing like you. If I was, I'd be the one hanging from a cliff. Oh, that reminds me." He snaps his fingers. Davis sees Veemon hanging from another cliff across from him. 

"Veemon!" 

Veemon frowned. And laughed uneasily. "Davis! Great view, isn't it?" 

Davis shook his head. "I haven't had time to look. Quick, armor digivolve!" 

The Digimon Emperor laughs. "Oh, there's one problem." He holds up Davis' D3 and communicator. "Aren't you going to need these to pull off that little trick?" He asked with a smirk. 

Davis gritted his teeth. He didn't know how he was going to get out of this situation. 

(Back to the others.) 

"Cody, snap out of it!" Yolei shouted at him. "We are in danger. We have to get out of here!" She shouted. Cody frowned but quickly nodded to agree with her. With that, everyone ran through the woods. Trying to lose the Emperor's lackeys. After a while in running. Cody's D3 started to beep. 

"Wait up! This digivice you were so nice enough to give me is starting to make noise." He informed everyone. 

TK stares down at his digivice. "My digivice is going off too! There might be something nearby!" 

They all stared down at their digivices. And noticed a building like structure showed on their map. 

"A building of some sort." Sora suggested. Biyomon shook her head. "There are no buildings around here!" 

"No, just the temple." Tentomon pointed out. Sora raised an eyebrow. "Temple?" Biyomon nodded. "Yeah, but it was shut down." 

"They couldn't book enough weddings or Bar Mitzfahs." Tentomon exclaimed. 

"Well, that's what you get when you try running a very fancy place." Simon started to laugh. 

Sora stares off in the direction of the temple. "Well, something in there is making the digivices go off, and I don't think it was the caterers." 

They all headed to the temple. And climbed all the way to the top. 

Yolei fell to her knees when they all finally reached the top. "I'm exhausted! Hasn't anyone ever heard of elevators?" She whined. Jeremy sweat dropped as he stared down at her. "It's a temple, Yolei...of course, they wouldn't have elevators." Yolei frowns. "Well, they should. It would make everything so much easier..." 

Sora gasped as she pointed out two objects on the altar. The one on the left had the crest of love on it. While the one on the right had the crest of knowledge. "They look like digieggs!" 

Yolei placed a hand on her chin.  "Must be what our digivices were reacting to." She murmured aloud. 

Jeremy nodded. "Definitely, but these look different from the digiamour of courage." 

Sora and Izzy's eyes grew wide as they both stared closer at the digieggs. 

"That one has the crest of love on it." 

"And that one has the crest of knowledge!" 

Sora and Izzy both look at one another and head towards the alter. They both grabbed onto the digiegg and tried to lift with all their might. But the digieggs wouldn't budge. 

"Ugh!" 

Sora shook her head. "It's just no use." 

Izzy frowns. "We'll never be able to move them." 

flashback*

"I don't understand. I couldn't budge the Digiegg with the crest of courage on it, but somehow Davis moved it with no problem!" Tai had informed them. 

end flashback*

"Cody, I think you should try to move it." Sora says, looking over at Cody. 

Izzy nodded. "You too, Yolei." 

Yolei eyes grew wide. "What? Do you want us to try it?" She said in surprise. 

Cody pointed to himself. "Me?" 

Simon crossed his arms over his chest. "Hey, what about me?!" 

Jeremy patted him on his shoulder. "Just wait. If one of them can't lift the egg. You can try next." 

Simon nodded and waited patiently. 

Cody and Yolei both go to try to lift the digieggs, and they succeed. 

Everyone gasped as the two of them lifted the digieggs. "Woah!" 

Izzy eyes grew wide again. "Huh?" 

"They were able to lift them!" Sora exclaimed. 

"Just like Davis did yesterday!" TK pointed out. 

Two beams of light shot out from the alter. Out from the red beam. An armadillo like creature jumped out with a huge smile. And from the purple beam of light, a bird like creature smiled and flew out.

"Ah! It feels so good to be out from underneath that stuffy rock and spread my wings!" Hackmon said happily. 

Armadillomon stares up at Cody. "Howdy! Why'd you have to wake me up? I was having such a nice dream." 

Everyone once again gasped in surprise at the two new digimon. 

"Two new digimon. It's just like what happened to Davis the other day." Jeremy pointed out. 

Simon frowned. "I guess today isn't my day. I just wonder what digi amour I will get." He murmured. 

Hawkmon bows towards Yolei. "Hello, I'm Hawkmon, and I've been waiting to make your acquaintance!" 

Yolei raised an eyebrow. "Uh, are you talking to me?" She asked, puzzled. 

Armadillomon pats his shell behind him. "Wowee, I think my shell fell asleep." He then looks up at Cody. "Hi, I'm armadillomon, and you and I are partners." 

"Oh! Well... I..." Cody bit his lip. "I couldn't ask you to fight!" He said suddenly 

Armadillomon took a step back. "Why not?" he asked in surprise. 

"Because I don't want to see anymore innocent digimon get hurt. I didn't ask to be a part of this." 

Cody had a few tears that had started to stream down his face. Sora frowned as she walked over to him. She puts a hand on his shoulder. Cody looks up at her, to see she was giving him a comforting smile. "Cody, don't you see. You were chosen because of your heart." Cody looked up at her with a confused look. "I could see someone in you that always is thinking of others before yourself. That is why I thought you would be able to lift the digiamour of love." 

Cody frowned. "But still...I couldn't ask for Armidillomon to fight for me." Sora smiled again. "You know, you and I think almost the same. When I first arrived in the digital world. I didn't understand why Biyomon wanted to protect me. But I slowly learned that she only wanted to be my friend. In a way, we are fighting to save the innocent. Do you think you understand Cody?" 

Cody slowly nodded. "I think so.." 

Izzy places a hand on Yolei's shoulder. "So tell me, what do you think of the digital world so far, Yolei?" 

Yolei frowned. "I honestly don't know. This place has been completely crazy ever since we got here. Before... I wanted to learn so much about this place. But with all of this happening. I really don't know if I wanted to be here anymore." 

Izzy smiles. "Don't worry, Yolei, everything might seem crazy now. But as long as you learn the information. You will be able to help your friends. You're quite the logical thinker. So don't count yourself out." 

Yolei smiles. "Okay, I won't," 

Cody and Yolei pulled out their D3s and held them out. 

"I beg your pardon, but in order for us to digivolve, you must say 'Digiarmour Energize'" Hawkmon explained. 

Cody and Yolei nodded and shouted in unison. "Digiamour energize!"  

"Hawkmon, armor digivolve to..." 

Hawkmon was surrounded in purple mist as images of Tentomon, Kabuterimon, and MegaKabuterimon appeared behind him. 

"Flybeemon! The fighter of knowledge!" 

"I am an armor digimon. As Flybeemon, I use the digiegg of knowledge to armor digivolve. I may look like something you can step on. But with a quick 'Lightning sting', I will bring my opponents down to their knees!

"Armadillomon armor digivolve to..."

Armadillomon was surrounded by metal before his body started to change. Images of Biyomon, Birdramon, and Garudamon appeared behind him.



"Pternanomon! The steel wing of love!" 

"I, too, am an armor digimon. As Armadillomon, I use the digiegg of love to armor digivovle. Now I rule the skies to protect the weak." 

"What do you say we find the others?" The newly armored digimon said in unison. 

Sora and Yolei: Wow!

Cody and Izzy: Woah!

(Elsewhere at the Cliffside.) 

Davis narrows his eyes as he looks back up at the Digimon Emperor.  "Give me back my digivice! And let Veemon go. He has nothing to do with this!" 

"Yeah, right. You've both been trespassing in my garden without my permission. And for your punishment, you'll have to watch Veemon as he becomes my slave." The digimon emperoer snaps his fingers as a black dark ring starts to fly towards Veemon. 

Davis looks over at the rookie digimon with worry. "Veemon, no!" 

The Digimon emperor started to laugh loudly. "It's hopeless. You lost your little fly." 

Veemon narrows his eyes. "I'll never become your slave! You might as well destroy me now and get it over with!" 

The Digimon Emperor grimaces. "I wish." 

Veemon laughs as the dark ring starts to come closer to him. "Hey, take it easy! I was just kidding. You know, a little comedy to lighten up the mood! Come on, old buddy, don't you know a good joke when you hear one?" 

"Veemon, no!" Davis struggles with his restraints. He was trying so hard to get free. 

"I don't hear anyone laughing now, Veemon!" The Digimon Emperor laughs. 

Davis narrowed his eyes. "Leave him alone!" 

"If you're going to mess with my friend! You're going to see me fly like a butterflymon and sting like a Flybeemon!" He bawled his fists as electricity started to spark on his fists. "Lightning Sting!" The bug yelled as he broke through the dark ring. 

The Digimon Emperor took a step back in surprise. "Who's that pest?" 

Yolei was running along side with everyone else. She had a look of determination on her face. "Davis! Hold on, we're coming!" She called out. 

"Get Veemon!" Davis shouted to the others. 

A loud screech was heard from above. Pteranomon soared through the air. The armored digimon flew to the side of Veemon. Cody was sitting on the back of his partner digimon. 

"I thought it would be a good idea if I flew on by." 

"I am so glad to see you both!" Veemon said happily. 

Cody helped the rookie digimon out of his restraints. "Gotcha." 

Gatomon stands across from the Emperor. Her eyes were narrowed. "This litterbox ain't big enough for the both of us."

Wormmon stands in front of the emperor. "Keep your claws to yourself, you big bully!" 

Wormon jumps at Gatomon, but she uses lightning paw and knocks Wormon to the Emperor, sending Davis' digivice flying. 

"You're useless!" The Digimon Emperor shouted as he knocked the rookie bug digimon away from him. 

Yolei looks up and catches Davis' D3. "Thank you!"

The Digimon Emperor gritted his teeth. "Here, kitty! Snimon! Mojyamon! Drimogemon!" He calls out. The three champion digimon from before appeared from the ground. 

Yolei reels her arm back and throws Davis' D3 at Davis. Who was being helped out of his restraints by Jeremy and Simon. "Here ya go!"

Davis smiled and caught his digivice. "Thanks a lot, Yolei! Now it's time for a little payback. What do you say, Veemon?" 

Veemon nods and holds up a thumbs up. "Yeah! Veemon, armor digivolve to..." 

"Flamedramon,The fire of courage!" He roars. 

"You better hold on tight, Cody," Pteranomon said loudly. 

Cody nodded and held on tight to the armor digimon. 

Flamedramon runs forward with the other two armor digimon trailing behind him. "Let's show them what armor digimon can do against the slaves of the emperor. Attack!" 

Mojyamon rears his fist back as an ice spear appears in his hand. " Ice cloud" He roars as he threw with all his might. Flamedramon threw his fists out, and fire shot out to melt the ice. Moyjamon took a step back in fear. Flamedramon smirked. "When it's fire against ice, fire always wins. Fire rocket!" 

The attack hit the dark ring. And it dissolved into data. 

Davis grins as he throws his fist into the air. "Yeah! You destroyed the dark ring, Flamedramon!"

Snimon flew after Pteranomon. His scissor like hands started to surround themselves with pink energy. "Twin Sickles!" 

"Hold on!" Pteranomon started to barrel roll in the sky to dodge Snimon's attacks. "You're going to try harder if you want to catch me!" 

Cody eyes grew wide as he was holding on for dear life. "I wasn't expecting this!" He yelled. 

Pteranomon narrowed his eyes. "Time for my Missile Storm!" He yells loudly as he launches a barrage of missiles from his wings. The missiles struck on impact on Snimon's dark ring. The ring dissolved into data. 

"That's awesome, Pteranomon!" 

Flybeemon struck a fist into an open palm. "Time for me to get some peice of the action." He said with a grin. The small insect digimon flew quickly towards the Drimegomon. "Time to aim!" Flybeemon narrows his eyes as he aims his stinger. "Needle stinger!" The stinger was shot and made direct contact on the dark ring. Which soon afterword dissolved into data. 

The Digimon Emperor smirked as he stared down at the digidestined and their digimon. "They're better than I thought. This makes things a lot more interesting." He walks away with Wormmon trailing behind him. 

Jeremy walked over to see the others talking to the freed digimon. Simon raised an eyebrow. "I am sorry that you all had to go through with that." 

Veemon nodded to agree with Simon. "Sorry we had to fight you, but we had to get rid of the dark rings. I hope we're still buds!" 

Mojyamon nodded and smiled. "It's okay. Thank you for saving us. Being the digimon emperor's slave was hard work! All day long, it's destroy this, destroy that, bring me a cappucino..." Davis narrows his eyes as the champion told him everything that the digimon emperor made them do. "Digimon Emperor! He makes me so mad! I'll show him who's in charge around here!"

Jeremy nodded. "You're right. Who died and made him king anyway?" 

Davis smiled at Jeremy. "You know, kid. You're not too bad."

He held out his hand, and Jeremy shook it.

"You're not too bad yourself. I guess this makes us friends."

Davis nods.

Hawkmon holds up a winged hand. "Settle down! So then, Yolei, will I be able to count on your assistance from now on?" 

Yolei smiles and holds up a thumbs up. "Absoltely! 100%" 

Armadillomon smiled up at Cody. "And will we be a team, Cody? When I'm not napping?" 

Cody smiled softly. "Of course! I'd be honored to be your partner. I may still be a little antsy about all of this. But I will help out anyway I can." 

Sora puts her hands behind her back. And smiles at the new kids. "Well, it looks like the new digidestined team doesn't need us around anymore." 

"I don't know. I still think we have a lot of work ahead of us." Izzy said with a smile. 

Biyomon nodded. "We can still help them fight the Emperor." 

Tentomon holds up a claw. "And we can also provide them with advice and guidance!" 

Sora laughs. "What a team!" 

Davis sighs and pulls out his D3. "Well, it's time to go home!" 

(Transfer to Earth) 

(School-night time) 

Tai rubbed his face as he walked down the hall of the school. "The birds and the birds, eh Mr. Fujiyama? Boy, when it comes to girls, this guy has a lot to learn." He shook his head. Skylar nodded to agree with him. "You're telling me. (She rubs her temples) I can't believe I forgot how much he can talk... it's so unfair. The others probably went on some cool adventure." 

"Yeah." Tai nodded 

Tai and Skylar were walking back to the computer lab. And saw a bright flash of light. 

"Ahh!!" The sounds of everyone coming through was heard. 

Tai and Skylar walked in. And saw everyone on the floor. 

Tai raised an eyebrow. "What happened to you guys?" 

"Please don't ask." They all grumbled. 

Skylar crosses her arms over her chest. "I guess something bad?" 

"Woah, the digimon all returned to their in-training forms!" Tai said in surprise. Three small in training digimon. Where now in the room. 

"Huh? Wah!" Davis picked up DemiVeemon. 

"Wow... he's so cute!" Yolei picks up Poromon and smiles at him. 

Cody stares down at Upamon. "It's hard to believe that this little fella...can turn himself into such a huge creature like Pteranomon." 

Kari rubs the back of his neck as she looks back at the computer. "Are we going to have to do this every time we come back?" She asked. 

Patamon sweat drop. "And I thought Digivolving was a tough job." 

TK smiles brightly. "At least we made it back to the real world safe and sound!" 

Sora frowns as she stares back at the computer. "Hmm... except Biyomon and Tentomon..." 

From the computer screen. Biyomon and Tentomon were waving at them all. 

"Sora! Don't worry. We'll be alright because the Digimon Emperor never comes out at night." 

Tentomon nodded. "Imagine. All that power, and he's afraid of the dark!" 

Sora puts a hand over her heart. "Well, get some rest. You'll need it for tomorrow!"

Simon frowned. He was still wondering when he would meet his own digimon partner.  

"Yeah! That's when we'll go back to the digital world and beat the Digimon Emperor once and for all!" Davis cheered. 

"Yeah, he better watch for the new digi team." Jeremy grinned. 

Davis smiles and nods.

The Digimon Emperor smirks as he stares at his computer screen. "Oh, really? Well, excuse me if I don't start shaking in my boots." 

Authors Note: Okay, yes. I changed something. Don't kill me. Ever since I watched the show. It always had bugged me that Yolei got the digiarmor of love, and Cody got the digiarmor of knowledge. 

I wanted to make sure they kept the same partners. But look at it this way. Cody is the type of person who always thought with his heart. He didn't want to hurt anyone. And he always wanted to protect the digimon and his friends. Which made me think the digiarmor of love was perfect for him. 

While Yolei seems to be more knowledgeable. She knew how to use computers. And she was always so interested in the show to learn new things. So I hope you all like the new changes. I know it might be slightly huge change. But I hope everyone slowly grows to love the idea.
