TK [narrating]: We've all grown up a lot since that summer in the digital world! Tai's in middle school. My brother Matt's trying to be a rock star.

Sora's become quite a tennis player! Izzy's in high school, too! Mimi and her folks moved to New York, Joe's still studying to be a doctor. and Skylar  is the crazy girl that my friends know and love. But for Kari and I, it's just the beginning.

(Parallel world)

A brown hair boy woke up with a start. The boy appeared to be fourteen years old and bright silver eyes. The boy was wearing orange pajamas and was sitting up in bed.

"Another day..." He grumbled.  He rolled off his bed and started to go through his same old routine.

He started with making his bed, brushing his teeth, and then finishing off with changing into his clothes. Today he decided to wear a black T-shirt, with a brown leather jacket over it. He then pulled on some brown shorts and brown sneakers.

He looked over his shoulder at his alarm clock. He had two hours until school started, and he didn't want to waste any time he had left.

The boy pulled out his cell phone and sat at the edge of his bed. He turned it on and frowned when a picture of him in the fourth grade was pulled up. So many strange things happened during that year...

First Skylar went missing...and following after her was Tiffany. The blonde bully went missing two years ago. But no one seemed to notice that some people even seemed to be glad that she was gone. Her father was a terrible mayor, so it was a plus that her and her family were gone. No one knew where they went.

But in total...it had been three years since he had seen his best friend Skylar Ruby. He had watched the digimon adventure show over and over. But it always ended the same way. Skylar and her friends would save the world... but she never made it home...she promised that she would see him again...

He got up from his bed and sighed once again.

"Looks like I got the whole place to myself again." He whispered. The boy walked out of his room and grabbed a bowl from the cabinet. Just as he was putting the bowl down, he heard the house phone beginning to ring.

Jeremy walked over to the phone and picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Jeremy!" An adult male voice said over the line. "This is your teacher, Mr. Flor, I am calling you to let you know that I have an extra credit assignment for you. It could help you pull your grade up in my class."

Jeremy blinked. He never heard of teachers calling their students to let them know of an extra credit assignment. Not only that, but when he did go on to start middle school. Jeremy always found it weird that his fourth grade teacher moved on to become a seventh grade math teacher. It was really odd...

"What is the assignment on?" Jeremy asked as he walked over to another cabinet to pull out a box of cereal. "The assignment will be on, your favorite television show." I paused as I was pouring cereal in my bowl. My favorite television show? The brown hair boy raised his eyebrow.

"You want us to write a paper...in a math class?" he asked, puzzled.

"Indeed! I want to make the extra credit assignment fun for all my students! I could make it boring and ask you guys to make posters and collect data. But I feel like a project such as writing a paper would be easier. And fun, in my opinion."

Jeremy nodded and put the cereal back in its proper spot. "Well....thank you for letting me know. I will certainly take advantage of this. "

"So you are onboard with this project?" Mr. Flor asked.

Jeremy opened the door to the fridge and shrugged. "I guess so. I don't have anything better to do. I might even be able to finish this project before I head to school today." He boasted.

Jeremy was grinning from ear to ear. He was half expecting his teacher to say something. To say you shouldn't think so high of yourself. But he didn't get an answer. All he got was a dial tone. The brown hair boy frowned. "I guess... he just got disconnected." He clicked end call and stared down at the phone in his hand.

He placed the phone back into its cradle and sat at the kitchen table. He took a bite of his cereal and looked up at a picture frame that was hanging on the wall. It was of him and his family. His mother was smiling brightly in the picture. Jeremy hasn't seen her smiling like that in forever.

His mother used to be really down to earth. Nothing truly never bothers her. But ever since...what happened to his father... it just all changed. In the picture, his mother's Ash brown hair was long and brushed and passed her shoulders. She was wearing a pink blouse and white jeans. She was smiling from ear to ear, as she had her right hand behind the man next to her.

The man was Jeremy's father. His father was also smiling. His dad had spiky short blonde hair and silver eyes. In the picture he was wearing a red sports shirt, and black gym shorts. His father was the gym coach at the local high school. So many people had told Jeremy that his father was such a great man, but he only had a few memories of his dad.

Standing in front of the two adults. Were three kids. The first child was a daughter who appeared to be fifteen years old. She had strawberry blonde hair and a cheerful smile that matched her mothers. Her eyes were light green. She was wearing a purple cheerleader outfit, and in either hand, she held purple and pink pom poms. That was his sister, Lisa Heinz. She was now currently attending a local college to become a librarian.

The second child was a son who looked like he wanted to be anywhere else. The boy had short blonde hair and green eyes. His arms were across his chest, and he was looking away from the camera.  In the picture, he was thirteen years old. He was wearing a football uniform, a red jersey, black pants and black shoes. He was quarter back when he attended middle school.

Some people always asked him why he never joined football. They thought he would be a natural. And back in his fourth grade year...he would've probably agreed with them. But now that he was older...he came to realize. That sports...was one of the big things that tore his family apart.

His sister and brother used to always fight over who got the most trophies. Even though it was his brother who stared it. But supposedly, his father would just make a huge joke out of it. To calm those two bickering teenagers down.

He missed that about him...if...he was only still alive today. He could ask him a few things. How he could deal with the pain of not seeing a friend anymore. He looked at the youngest child in the picture. It was of him. He was probably eight when the picture was taken. His brown hair was a bird's nest. Or that is what his older brother always called it. A huge smile was spread across his face. The young Jeremy wore a yellow t-shirt and brown shorts. In his arms was a stuff Agumon doll that his sister made for him.

Ever since his father died. His mother was never the same. His mother would ever rarely smile. She would stay quiet and never noticed his older brother bullying him. She didn't even notice that he would force Jeremy to become his personal slave. She also started to work two different jobs in order to keep ahold of their house.

He was glad that his brother was off to college. He didn't have to see him until the holidays. Max was a big jerk anyway.  Once he was finished eating the bowl of cereal, he rinsed out the remainder of the milk and placed the bowl down in the sink.

Helooksk over at the stove clock. I noticed he had an hour and a half reminding to finish the extra credit assignment. He walked over to the computer room and turned it on. "My favorite tv show." He whispered to himself. He placed a hand to his chin. A smile grew on his face. "I guess that would have to be digimon. My best friend is in the sho,  after all."

When the computer was turned on, a message board greeted him. "I guess someone from my mother's work is trying to message her." He grumbled. He grabbed the mouse and exited out of the message before anyone could start typing.

He opened up the word document and started to type out Digimon adventure in the middle of the screen.

Suddenly, the message board popped again, but this time. A message showed up. "Hello there,"

Jeremy rolled his eyes and closed the message board again.

"Digimon is my favorite show because-"  Jeremy started to type quickly on the document until the message board popped up once again.

"It is great to meet you, Jeremy Heinz."

Jeremy was taken aback by this message. He wondered if it was one of his friends playing a prank. So he took a deep breath and typed back.

"Who is this? Austin, is this you?"

"No, I am not Austin. I am someone who can help you."

Jeremy hesitated. He moved the mouse to click the close button on the message board again. But stopped when the person message again. "I can help you see your friend again."

A memory of Skylar hugging him flashed in his head. He was wondering how the red head was doing. If she was doing okay, and if she was happy or not.

"How?"

Jeremy waited patiently. Two minutes went past as Jeremy waited for an answer. "I guess it was a prank..."

Suddenly, green mist started to drift out of the computer in front of the brown hair boy. The mist started to cover his field of vision, and everything went black.

(Digital world)

An Elecmon stood in the woods. Listening to the sounds of the birds singing in the distance. Not a single thing seemed to be wrong at the digital world at the given moment of time. Three baby digimon were playing in front of him. A Punimon happily laughed as it hopped around the rookie digimon. A Botamon blew bubbles in the a , and giggled as it watched its own reflection in them. And a Pichimon was sniffing flowers close by.

A loud rumbling was heard, as something was heard drawling closer to them. Elecmon turned his head in the direction of the noise, and frowned. "Hurry children, run!" He shouted. The four of them run off in the woods.

A few digimon were shown running through the woods.

A Gazimon was sprinting amongst the group of digimon, with a worried look on his face. Suddenly black rings were shown flying throughout the air. The rings seemed to chase after the digimon who were trying to escape.

"Run for your lives! It's the evil Digimon Emperor!" The Gazimon screamed before a black ring closed around his neck. The rabbit digimon fell over flat on his face.

The other group of digimon continued running. Some would fall over when a black ring caught them.

Gatomon was shown amongst the group. The champion level digimon was also being chased down by a black ring. Gatomon raced towards a tree and ran up along the side of the tree. Sheturnedn around quickly and slashed the black ring with her claws.

"That was close!" The feline whispered in relief.

The cat gasped when she heard rustling behind her. The champion turned on her heels to see a Unimon walking towards her. The horse digimon had a black ring around his neck.

"Horn blaster!"

Gatomon's eyes grew wide as the horse digimon, fired a blast of energy at her.

(In the a middle of a field)

A soft breeze blew across Jeremy's face. The brown hair boy rolled onto his side on the grassy field. Where am I?  He thought to himself. He rubbed his face with his right hand.

From a small distance away, Jeremy could hear footsteps walking over to him.

"Hey there, are you okay?" A male voice asked.

Jeremy sighed as he opened his eyes. "I guess..." He groaned. He felt like he had just run a marathon, and he had no energy whatsoever left. He opened his eyes and noticed someone holding a hand out to him. Jeremy took the outstretch hand, and the person helped him up to his feet. Jeremy nearly felt back to the ground when he noticed who it was. The person standing in front of him was Tai. The Tai from digimon Adventure, but he was about my age. He was wearing a green uniform.

"Dude, are you okay? Do I need to take you to the nurses office. You almost fell over again."

Jeremy pointed a finger at him. "You're Tai!" He exclaimed in surprise. Tai was now the one to be taken back. The boy blinked and asked. "Ah...do I know you?" He asked, confused.

Jeremy suddenly realized that it might have sounded weird, that he knew his name. But he had never met him before. "Ah..." Quick try to come up with an excuse.

"My name is Jeremy Heinz, I just moved here from America a day ago. Skylar and I were pen pals during elementary school, and we have been sending letters to one another ever since. She sent me a picture of all of her friends. And I was surprised to meet you like this." He explained.

When Jeremy was finished, he once again realized that his explanation sounded a little stupid. Pen pals... really I couldn't just say that Skylar and I used to go to the same elementary school in America?

"You know Skylar?" Tai said with a smile. "I guess she would be happy to see you. Did you tell her that you were moving."

I shook my head. "I wanted to keep it a surprise." I lied. It was a surprise to me, too, honestly.

Tai grinned. "Well, that's cool. She will be excited to see you. We better hurry up before the first bell. I was late before... and Skylar gave me a Skylar slap. Just a little advice, don't get on her bad side." He chuckled.

He gestured for me to follow him. I looked down at the clothes I was wearing and my eyes grew wide when I realized, I was wearing the same school uniform as Tai. I stopped walking and stared down at the uniform I was wearing. Where did I get this?

"You coming?" Tai called after me.

I nodded and quickly followed after him.

Once I was next to him. He led me all the way to middle school. In front of the school, kids from all different ages sat around the school. Waiting for the first bell to ring. Amongst the crowd I noticed two girls right away. One of them happened to be Sora, she was wearing a similar uniform as him and Tai. But hers came with a skirt. Then I noticed the girl standing to the right of her. Skylar Ruby. Jeremy was taken back when he saw her. She looked so happy. The girl held a hand over her mouth as she was laughing at some joke Sora had just told her. The two girls were sitting on a bench.

"Skylar..." Jeremy whispered. He felt like this was a dream. It had to be. He couldn't believe that he was actually seeing her. She was three years older now. She was wearing the same middle school outfit. But she had a pony tail, which was held up by a white ribbon. And a brown purse was on her right shoulder.

Tai walked over to them, and I followed after him. Jeremy was a little scared to hear what Skylar had to say about him being here. What if she started to scream at me. Telling Tai and Sora that I was a bully to her.

When Sora noticed Tai, she quickly got up and hugged him. "I am so glad to see you, Tai. How was your summer vacation?" She asked with a bright smile.

Tai smiled back. "Not that bad. The cabin that my family and I were staying at was really nice. It was right next to a lake. I caught a huge bass on the first day! You have to see it. Kari took tons of pictures."

Sora laughed. "It sounds like you had a great time." She raised an eyebrow. "But is the part of the story with the bass true?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Tai rubbed the back of his neck. "You know... I may have exaggerated a little bit." He grinned a little.

Skylar smiled between her two friends. "Okay, Sora, let me have a turn to hug your boyfriend." She exclaimed with a grin.

Sora blushed at this statement. "Tai isn't my boyfriend." She said, shaking her head.

"You mean, he isn't yet." She pointed out.

Tai sweat dropped. "It's nice to see you too, Skylar." The red head girl hugged Tai.

"I am glad to see you are back Tai." Skylar said cheerfully.

Tai broke the hug and pointed at me. "Oh and Skylar, it looks like your pen pal is here. He wanted to surprise you. He just moved here." He informed her.

A confused look drifted on her face. "Pen pal..." She whispered. When Skylar's eyes landed on Jeremy. A surprise look appeared on her face. "Jeremy!"

Jeremy nodded at her and waved. "Ah...hi Skylar."

Skylar shook her head in surprise. "How did you... but.. " She quickly grabbed his hand and pulled him away from Tai and Sora.

"Sky, is everything alright?!" Sora called after her.

Skylar looked over her shoulder and nodded. "I just wanted to say hi to an old friend. Alone." She called back to her friend.

Skylar dragged Jeremy into the school and pulled him behind a row of lockers. Out of earshot from anyone else.

"This is a weird way to say hello." I whispered to her.

Skylar shook her head. "How did you get to this world?" She asked quickly.

I shrugged my shoulders. "I have no idea... I was just home. I was getting ready to go to school when I decided to work on an extra credit assignment before I left. When someone sent me a message on the computer. They were telling me that they could help me see you again. And then green mist surrounded me. I woke up in a field, and Tai was helping me to my feet." He explained quickly.

Skylar quietly listened while I talked. When I finished, the red head placed a hand on her chin. She hummed to herself until she finally whispered. "Strange... I entered this world completely differently. Could that mean you're going to be a digidestined as well... but that doesn't make sense... there isn't a portal open to the digital world anymore."

The bell rang, which Jeremy guessed, signified it was time for class. Skylar reaches in her pocket and pulls out a schedule. The red head looked up at the hazel hair boy and smiled. "So, do you have a schedule?" She asked, holding up her own, which was written in Japanese. I didn't understand a single word on the paper she held out in front of me.

He reached into his pocket and sighed in relief when he pulled out a piece of paper. The only difference to his schedule, was the fact that his schedule was printed in English.

Skylar looks over the paper with a smile. "Looks like we have both the same homeroom class. Come on, I will show you the way." She gestures for me to follow her. We both walked out from behind the lockers and walked over to a staircase. Skylar looked at me with a reassuring smile. "And don't be intimidated about learning to speak or read Japanese. It took me a while to learn the language, but it is really easy. If you like I can teach you. Thankfully, my friends mostly speak in English, or I wouldn't understand everything." She laughs.

Jeremy laughed along with her. This is really nice. I have been wanting to hang out with Skylar in forever. And now we are acting like long-lost friends. Once they got up to the second floor. Skylar grabbed Jeremy's arm and pulled him to the right. "This way" She instructed. She pulled him to the third room on the right.

Skylar walked into the classroom and cried out in surprise. The red head smiled as she waved at her friend Sora sitting in the front row. "Looks like we are in the same home room again." Skylar said cheerfully as she sat next to the orange hair girl. I look around the classroom. Tables were set around the classroom, three people per table.

"Hey Jeremy. Come and sit with us." Skylar said, pointing to the open chair next to her.

I nodded and sat down next to the red head.

Skylar gestured to me and I looked over at Sora. "This is my friend Jeremy Heinz. Jeremy, this is my friend Sora Takenouchi."

Sora waved at him. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Jeremy nodded at the orange hair girl. "Likewise."

The three of them started to talk amongst themselves, as more students started to walk into the classroom.

(T.K. house)

T.K. was seen quickly grabbing a backpack and rushing towards the door.

"Finish your breakfast! You're going to be late for school, TK!" His mother shouted out to him from her room.

"New school, new apartment, same old lumpy oatmeal." He whispered to himself with a grin. He smiled and called out to his mother. "I'm done, mom! I'm leaving!" The blonde hair boy looks down at his wristwatch. He would have more than enough time to make it to his school.

"Sorry I can't drive you to school, TK, but I have to write this article before the deadline. It's all about the historical significance of toilet paper. Hmm..." His mother whispered as she shook her head. His mother rubbed her temples as she stared down at her laptop. "I just swear their trying to mess with me at times..."

T.K. smiled and put on his shoes. "It's okay. I'll walk. Seeya later, mom. " The boy walked out of his apartment and walked over to the elevator. At the elevator, a young girl and a younger boy were also on their way to school.

"How's it going?" T.K. asked the two kids.

The girl smiled brightly. "Fine, thank you"

"That's great. My name's TK, and my mom and I just moved into the building. I'm in fourth grade, class A. Nice to meet you." He waved at the two kids.

The girl smiled brightly. "My name's Yolei. Would you like to walk to school with us? It takes approximately 12.3 minutes, and that's if there's no wind. It'll be fun! Oh, and this is Cody." She gestured to the younger boy next to her.

Cody nodded at T.K. "Welcome to the building, TK. And hurry, we don't want to be late on our first day!" He said urgently.

"Let's do it!" T.K. exclaimed

During the bright morning day. The three kids were ontheire way to school.

Cody looks up at Yolei. "Hey, Yolei, can you come over after school and fix my computer again?" He asked.

Yolei nodded. The girl held up a finger. "Only if your mom makes those brownies I love!"

Cody nodded. "I'll email her and tell her to make a batch right away!"

Yolei threw a fist into the air. "It's a deal. Perfecto!" Cody and Yolei walk away from T.K. Not knowing the blonde hair boy had stopped walking. T.K. was watching a soccer game that was going on.

"Huh?" While T.K. was watching the game. A boy was shown kicking the ball into the net quickly. A huge grin spread across the boy's face. T.K. could even make out that the boy was wearing goggles on top of his head. "Wha? Tai?" The blonde hair boy shook his head. "I'm seeing things."

"Here ya go, Davis!" A boy with brown hair shouted as they kicked the ball over to the goggle head. However, the ball was kicked out of bounds. T.K. caught the ball before it could go away too far.

Davis runs over to T.K. "Thanks, great catch! Huh?"

T.K. looks at Davis closely

"You look familiar. Must be the goggles." T.K. informs him with a smile.

"Wha?"

The same brown haired kid called out to Davis. "Hey Davis, you're holding up the game!" The kid whined.

Davis shook his head. "Huh?" He kicked the ball back onto the field and races over to the other kids.

TK: shook his head. "What am I talking about? That can't be Tai. He's a much better soccer player than that kid!" He laughs to himself.

(Jeremy)

Jeremy and his friends still sat in front of the classroom. Him, Sora, and Skylar had begun talking about the things they did over the summer.

"I started my own bonsai tree set up." Sora said brightly. "My mom is really happy I did so. She says learning to take care of a bonsai is really spiritual and helps someone find their true selves." She explained to us.

"Well, I have started to learn to bake more. I learned how to bake cookies and all kinds of sweets. Even though my little brother happens to be my food taster." She chuckled.

Jeremy shrugged when the two girls looked at him. "I just been staying at home. Playing videogames and watching TV."

Just then, a woman with long black hair walked into the classroom. She wore a purple blouse and white dress jeans. The woman wore a gold necklace around her neck. And a soft smile was on her face.

"Good morning, students. My name is Mrs. Izziela and I will be your homeroom teacher. In this class you will have the time to study, and do your homework. Due to it being the first day. You may talk amongst yourself quietly."

Students around them cheered. Jeremy looked at his two friends. "So I guess we have time to talk." Skylar nodded. "What should we talk about?" She asked.

Jeremy shrugged. "Can you teach me a few things about Japanese." Sora and Skylar nodded.

"Don't worry, by the time we teach you a few things. You will be speaking like a pro." Sora teased with a snap of her fingers.

(Middle school classroom)

Davis walked into a classroom and stared around at the students sitting at tables. Two students at each table. Kari was sitting in the second row.

Davis grinned from ear to ear when he noticed her. "What luck! You're in my class again, Kari!" He cheered as he walked over to her.

Kari rolled her eyes as she shook her head. "I wouldn't call that luck." She mumbled.

"Hey, the weirdest thing just happened. Some kid said I reminded him of someone. He probably thinks I'm a famous movie star." He boasted.

Kari shook her head. "Or maybe you reminded him of a toad."

Davis pouted and sat down in a chair. He slumped down and crossed his arms over his chest. "Everyone is a critic." He grumbled.

(Elsewhere in the Digital World.)

Agumon was racing through the woods. The reptile digimon was being chased by the dark rings as well.

The rookie digimon trips over a branch, sending him falling down a hill. The reptile digimon lands on his face and cries out. "Tai, help! TAI!!!"

In the middle of Tai's class. Tai heard his digivice go off. The beeping caused a few people in his class to look up and over at him.

"Huh?" he whispered in shock.

In Davis class. A man walked in front of the classroom and waved at his new students.

"I'm Mr. Hamasaki, i'll be your teacher, and I'd like you to all welcome a new student." He gestured towards T.K. "He is a new student at our school, and I wanted you all to give him a warm welcome."

Davis eyes grew wide when he noticed that the new student was the same kid he saw this morning. "Woah!"

TK grinned at his classmates. "Nice to meet you. I'm TK!"

"It's that kid!" Davis whispered in surprise.

Mr. Hamasaki pointed out to Kari. "You can take a seat next to the girl with the...camera around her neck." He instructed.

TK smiled over at Kari and walked over to sit next to her."Together again!" He smiled brightly.

Kari nodded to agree with him. "Just like old times."

Davis barred his teeth as he shook his head. "Wha! That kid's trying to make a move on my girl!"

"Our teacher looks like...Ogremon!" T.K. chuckled. Kari laughed along with him. "He probably smells like him, too." She added.

(Back in the digital world)

Biyomon, Tentomon, Labramon, and Patamon were shown screaming and running away from a Snimon. The rookie digimon were running through the woods, jumping over logs, and debris.

"Quick! Don't let Snimon catch us! This praying mantis digimon can cut through anything with his Twin Sickles attack!" Tentomon warned his friends.

"Don't worry. I don't feel like stopping right now, to say hello to him." Labramon cried over the sound of Snimon flapping his wings.

"Twin Sickles!" Snimon shouted.

Biyomon, Tentomon, and Labramon were sent falling down a hillside.

Patamon worriedly watched his friends falling down the hill. "Oh, no! Biyomon, Tentomon! Labramon!" He cried after them.

Back with Agumon. Tai was shown running over to the fallen reptile digimon. Gatomon was quickly following by his side. The leader of the digidestined had a worried look on his face as he got down on his knee and placed a comforting hand on the rookie's shoulder.

"Agumon!" Tai shouted.

Agumon, look up at Tai hopefully. "Tai? You're here!"

Tai nodded and pulled out his digivice. "You've got to digivolve!" He instructed.

Agumon shook his head."That's why I need your help. I can't digivolve." He said worriedly.

"What, did you forget how? It's just like riding a bicycle. Now start peddling and digivolve!" Tai yelled.

Agumon closed his eyes and shook his head. "But, I can't," He cried.

The digimon emperor laughed. The blue haired boy was shown standing on the back of a Monochromon. The boy shook his head and placed a hand on his hip.  "It's no use. Not while I have the dark digivice. There's no way he can digivovle."

Gatomon narrowed her eyes and turned on her heels. "Move your tails!" She started to run away from the digimon emperor.

Tai picked up Agumon and quickly followed after the feline digimon. "We're gonna need some more help. I better call the others!" He called out.

In the computer lab. Yolei was shown typing away on the computer. While she sat, a smile was plastered on her face. "I am almost done. Just a few more things, and I will be done with my history project."

The pink hair girl looks up from her work when the door to the computer lab opens. A Hispanic boy walked into the lab with a small smile. The boy held a small silver bucket. The boy had spiky short black hair and brown eyes. The boy was wearing a blue T-shirt, and black gym shorts.

"Yo, do you know of a Skylar Ruby?" The eleven year old asked. Yolei raised an eyebrow and shook her head. "Ah...no. What is that bucket for?" She asked.

"Oh, you see... Skylar is a tutor for me. And in order for me to stay on the swim team, I need to get the grades. So, to keep me on track. Skylar started a prank war with me."

Yolei blinked. " A prank war?" She mumbled to himself.

The boy nodded. "My name is Simon. If you see a girl with red hear, and is full of energy. Make a bird call." He instructed. The boy walked out of the classroom quickly.

Yolei turned back to the computer screen and shook her head. "One strange kid." She mumbled to herself. She returned to her project. And stopped when an email popped up on screen.

"Come to the digital world. The digimon need our help'? Hmm, this must be a link to an online game. Let's see who sent it. Tai Kamiya. Hey, there's a girl in fourth grade with the same last name. This must be hers!" Yolei exclaimed.

(After school)

Jeremy sighed in relief as he finally finished his Japanese class. His teacher was very helpful. He was able to learn the basics of speaking. And he learned how to say hello and goodbye. But that was all the information he could keep in tack.

He walked out of the school to see Skylar waiting for him. The red head waved Jeremy over. "So, do you want to hang out with me? I do have to head over to the elementary school first, though. I am tutoring a fifth grader. He is such a prankster. So I decided to help him. So whenever we have time, we do our little prank war." She chuckled.

Jeremy laughed at this. "Sounds like a plan." The two of them walked down the sidewalk towards the elementary school.

(Elementary school)

Kari was walking down the hallway of her school. She was side by side with T.K. The two of them were smiling and laughing about school. Until finally, Kari asked.

"So TK, how does your mom like the new apartment?" Kari asked with a smile.

TK laughed as he shook his head. "She hasn't seen it! She's been on the computer the whole time."

"Hey, buddy!" Davis called behind them.

T.K. and Kari stop in their tracks and turn around to face Davis. Kari narrows her eyes as she stares at the brown haired boy.

"His name isn't buddy. It's TK."

"Alright, TJ or JB or whatever it is. How do you know Kari?" Davis raised an eyebrow.

"How do I know her?" T.K. started to smirk as he looked at Davis. "Oh, I get it! You're jealous of me!" He began to start to laugh.

Davis shook his head as his face started to grow red. "I'm not jealous of anybody!" He yelled angrily.

"Hey!"

The three kids turn on their heels to see Yolei running towards them.

TK smiled at the pink haired girl. "Huh? Oh, hi, Yolei!"

Yolei looks over at Kari. "You're Kari Kamiya, aren't you?" She asked

Kari titled her head. "Yes, why do you ask?"

"Are you related to Tai? He sent this email!"

Yolei handed over her a piece of paper. On the paper of paper was the email that Yolei received in the computer lab. Kari looked over the email quickly and finally shouted. "My brother needs us!" She yelled as she raced down the hall.

The other three kids run after Kari.

Near the entrance of the lab. Izzy was walking down the hall. The boy waved at Yolei.

"Yolei! I'm glad I ran into you. I need to use the computer room right away!" He shouted urgently.

Yolei smiled at Izzy. The pink hair girl was surprised to see the boy. "What's wrong. Wait, aren't you the legendary former computer club president is looking for me? I'm honored!" She said excitedly.

Izzy nods. "Why yes I am, it is nice to meet you."

Izzy  walked over to the computer and started typing away.

Kari ran into the computer lab with T.K. and Davis following after her. "Tai sent us an urgent email!" She said urgently

"I know! I got one, too. I was just about to send an answer when the battery ran out on my computer. I knew I should have recharged it after I played Trigonometry trivia on the Internet last night. But boy, talk about fun!" Izzy said with a grin.

Just then, everyone looked up when Simon walked into the classroom. The boy was quickly putting up a bucket full of water on top of the door frame. "She will never see this coming." He said with a smirk.

"What are you doing?" Izzy asked.

Just as those words left his mouth. Skylar opened the door to the room, and the bucket full of water spilled all over her.

Everyone in the room eyes grew wide. Skylar left eye started to twitch. "Someone is going to die tonight." She whispered.

Simon started to burst into laughter. "I gotcha good!"

Skylar bawled her fist. "That's it, Simon, you went too far this time. I am going to kill you!" She roared as she started to chase him around the computer lab.

"Someone help me, crazy girl is after me!" Simon pleaded with the others in the room.

"I'll show you crazy when I get my hands on you!"

Jeremy sweat dropped as he watched the two of them run around the classroom.

"Is this normal for her?" Jeremy asked T.K. who was standing closest to him.

T.K. nodded. "Yeah, she has been like this ever since I met her."

"Skylar! You need to calm down. Something urgent is going on in the digital world!" Izzy yelled at her.

The red-headed girl paused in her tracks. "Wait... something is going on?" She asked.

Kari nodded as she placed a hand over her heart. "Yeah, Tai sent us an urgent email."

Skylar pouted and put her hands on her hips.

"Why didn't I get one..." Skylar asked sadly.

Skylar checks her cell phone.

"Oh, I did..."

In the Digital World.

Tai was standing inside of the cave. With Agumon, Patamon, and Gatomon next to him.

Tai looks down at his cell phone. A message popped up on his screen. "It's from Izzy! He's got Kari, Skylar, and TK with him!"

"Tai, come here quick!" Agumon called out further inside the cave.

Tai looked up from his cell phone and ran in the direction of Agumon's voice.

(Back in the computer lab)

Yolei blinked as she asked. "What's the digital world? Is it a new theme park? I bet they have some great rides!" She said excitedly.

Jeremy looked over at her and shook his head. "Ah... it's a really stupid game."

Yolei smiled. "Hey, don't count me out. I love playing all kinds of video games."

Davis hummed to himself. "Hmm... I heard it from Tai once. He said there were a lot of Digimon there. Whatever they are."

"You know Tai?" T.K. asked, surprised.

"They play on the same soccer team." Kari informed him.

Skylar looks over at the goggle boy. "Oh wait... you were that boy I met a few years back. You wanted to ride my bike."

Davis started to blush when he recognized Skylar. "Oh yeah, you're that pretty girl."

Skylar raises an eyebrow.

"What...?"

Yolei put her hands together. "I've got an idea! Let's all go to the Digital World!" She suggested.

Simon raised an eyebrow. "Wait...is this actually a place. Because...if Skylar is going to be helping you guys out. I might as well go do a few laps in the pool."

Izzy looked over at the hazel hair boy. "Who are you?" he asked Jeremy.

Everyone looked over at him and blinked. Almost like they were seeing him for the first time.

"Hi, my name is Jeremy Heinz." He introduced himself.

Skylar nodded and gestured to him. "He is my best friend. And don't worry. I told him a few things about the Digital World, and he wouldn't tell a soul about those stories."

Izzy nodded and quickly returned to the computer.

Cody looked over at Yolei and asked. "Yolei, weren't you coming over? You said you'd fix my computer!" He reminded her.

Yolei placed a hand on her forehead. "Oh, sorry. I forgot."

(Inside the cave in the Digital World)

"Tai, look at this!" Agumon was pointing down at a small egg like object in the middle of the floor. The object had the crest of courage on the center of the egg.

"Weird...it's got the crest of Courage! Is it an egg?" Tai asked, puzzled.

Agumon shook his head. "I don't know...I've never seen an egg with a spike through it!" He mumbled to himself.

"Must have been hard on the chicken that layed that thing!" Gatomon pointed out.

"Let's have a closer look."

Tai tries to lift the digiegg. As he does, lights flew out of the egg. The colors of blue, orange, yellow, red, and brown flew through the air.

"Woah! They look like fireflies! Or really fast ones!" He exclaimed. The boy jumps back in surprise as he stares after the beams of light.

(In the school hall way)

Yolei and Cody were walking down the hallway, heading towards the staircase. While Simon walked in the opposite direction. The boy was heading to the locker room to change before he jumped into the school's pool.

"You did promise." Cody said to Yolei.

Yolei nodded. "I know."

(In the computer room)

Izzy stood up with a smile. "We're going back to the digital world! Prodigious!"

Skylar grinned from ear to ear as she cheered. "I can't wait to see Labramon again."

Davis held up a fist. "I'm going with you!"

TK shook his head. "That's impossible! Not just anybody can go. You need a digivice!"

Jeremy nodded he knew that for a fact. It was impossible for David and him to go.

Davis narrowed his eyes at T.K. "Listen, TC! If you can go, I can go!" He yelled

"Why don't you leave him alone?" Jeremy asked

"Hey, kid. I don't know who you are -"

Five beams of different colored light flashed on the screen of the computer until they fired out into the room. The beam of blue light flew into Davis' open hand, while a beam of orange light flew into Jeremy's. The beams of red and yellow light went down the hallway towards Yolei and Cody, while the beam of brown light landed next to Simon.

Everyone in the room was in complete shock with what happened. "Huh? Wha..."

Davis looks down at his hand and stares with disbelief at a blue device in his hand. "Woah! What's this?" He asked, puzzled.

"It can't be..." Jeremy looks down at the device in his own hand. It was an orange D3. He had a digivice as well.

"A digivice!" T.K. said in surprise.

Skylar eyes grew wide at she stared at her best friend. "Wow. Jeremy really is a digidestined."

Kari stares at the digivices in Davis and Jeremy's hands. "It's a different model than the ones we have." She pointed out.

Izzy looks back at the computer. "We better go now, while the gate to the digital world is still open."

Skylar nodded. "Good idea."

TK raised an eyebrow. "How long will it be open for?" he asked.

Davis shakes the digivice in his hand. "Can I get Donkey Madness on this thing?" he asked the others.

Jeremy sweat drops. "You know... you really sound slow when you say things like that."

"Hey! Shut up, kid."

Izzy looked over at Davis and snapped. "It's not a game! If the digital world sends you a digivice, then there must be a reason, and you should take it seriously."

Kari shook her head and pointed her digivice at the computer. "I'm not waiting any longer. I'm going to help my brother."

Kari is pulled into the computer in a flash of white light.

"I'm with you!"

T.K. points his own digivice at the computer screen.

Izzy turns towards Skylar, Davis, and Jeremy. "You guys next! Unless you're scared!"

Skylar smiled as she raised an eyebrow. "Scared? I laugh at the face of danger." She points her digivice at the computer, and she was pulled into the computer as well.

Jeremy mimics his friend and took a deep breath.

" If she can do it. so can I"

He held out his digivice, and he was pulled into the computer.

Davis smiles and points out his digivice as well. "I'm there!"

The five of them show up in the middle of a grassy clearing. Davis and Jeremy were staring around at the world around them. The two of them were shocked to see everything around them.

"Woah...my first time being downloaded. Pretty cool. So this is the digital world?Woah! This place comes with a new wardrobe!" Davis looks down and notices that he is now wearing new clothes.

Jeremy looked down at the clothes he was wearing and noticed that he was no longer wearing his school uniform. Instead, he was wearing a red t-shirt, tan shorts, and sneakers. And sunglasses sat on top of his head.

Jeremy looks himself over and asks. "Why am I wearing this?"

Skylar laughs at her friends reaction. "You look cute."

Jeremy blushed as he shook his head. "Don't say things like that..."

Davis points at himself. "How about me, Skylar?" he asked hopefully.

Skylar grimaced. "You're annoying..."

The digimon emperor sat inside a large blue room. computer screens showed him the children who just appeared in the digital world. "Ha! There are visitors in my garden, and they weren't on the guest list."

Kari looks down at her digivice. A small dot was blinking on the screen. She pointed in front of her and started walking in that direction.

"Huh...it's over this way!" She informed her friends.

They all started walking through the grassy fields. Jeremy continued staring around, trying to find any sign of any digimon. But it look like their were no digimon in sight.

"Where are all the digimon?" Jeremy asked out loud.

T.K. look around as well. "That's really weird... We should have at least spotted one by now."

Skylar frowned. "I really hope this is just a surprise party that Tai set up." She mumbled.

Davis shrugs."This place doesn't seem so scary. The way Tai described it, there were monsters everywhere!" Davis looks over to see a vending machine a few feet in front of him. "Huh? What's a vending machine does out here? I am a little thirsty..." Davis walks over to it and pulls out a coin

Skylar held out her hand and shouted. "Don't touch it!" She tried to warn him.

But it was already too late. The vending machine opened up, and a Numemon hopped out and started to dance around Davis. Davis let out a surprise yelp as he fell over.

Everyone laughed at the goggle boy.

Davis narrowed his eyes. "Haha...very funny. So, were those Digimon? Are there more of them?" He asked, looking around for more Numemon. A bit of worry was shown on his face.

Jeremy nodded. "Actually, yes."

Kari smiled. "Yeah, tons of them. But, there are a lot cuter ones than that." She reassured him.

"And a lot scarier ones, too!" T.K. added.

Skylar held her hands out like they were claws. "Ones that will give you nightmares." She said with a demon like voice.

Jeremy shivered a little from the scary voice. He remembered the time in the first tv season. When Skylar was controlled by Myotismon and became Evil Skylar. And that terrified him a little. "Why do you say it like that." He asked.

Skylar shrugs with a playful smile. "To scare Davis."

"Do...they all come out of vending machines?" Davis asked a little frighten.

Skylar shook her head with a sad frown. "Oh, poor, poor little Davis." She walked over to him and wrapped an arm around his neck. "Yes, most of them do, and they like to attack annyoing little boys like you.

Davis rolled his eyes. "Yeah, right..."

Jeremy chuckled a little at this.

Tai and the digimon were walking out of the cave. Tai was looking down at his digivice. When five different colored dots were moving towards him. One pink, yellow, gold, orange, and blue.

"They're close by." Tai informed the digimon.

Patamon looks off into the woods. And noticed T.K. walking out of the woods. The bat digimon had a huge grin grow across his face. "TK!" He shouted before he flew into his open arms.

"Patamon! Am I glad to see you!" He said while he hugged the rookie digimon.

"Huh?" Davis watched as the digimon seemed to be friendly, and not like the Numemon he just met.

Gatomon ran over to Kari and jumped into her open arms. The feline digimon wrapped her arms around Kari's neck. "Kari!"

A rustling was heard in the bushes, and Labramon poked his head out. "Skylar!" Labramon said cheerfully. The dog hopped out of the bushes.

"Labramon!" Skylar ran towards the dog digimon with her arms stretched out wide.

Labramon runs towards her and hops into her arms. The two friends embrace. "I am so happy to see you." Labramon cried in joy.

"I am too"

"Did you bring me any chicken?" he asked hopefully.

A few chuckles were heard from Tai, Kari, and TK

"You just... had to ruin the moment. Did you?" Skylar asked.

"I'm hungry..." He grumbled. "I was getting chased all day..."

Skylar frowns at this news.

Tai smiles as he looks amongst his friends. "You guys made it!"

Skylar smiled as she held Labramon in her arms. "Of course we would. We wouldn't let you have all the fun without us." She winks.

Davis runs towards Tai. "Tai! I told the others you'd be alright."

Jeremy crosses his arms over his chest. "Sure, and you were scared by a Numemon..." He exclaimed.

Tai looks surprised to see Davis and Jeremy.  "Davis? Jeremy? What are you two  doing here?" He asked

Kari looks down at Gatomon's tail. And saw that her golden tail ring was missing. "Gatomon! Huh? Your tail ring! Tell me what happened!" She instructed.

Gatomon frowns. She lets out a sad sigh before she starts to speak.

Gatomon was shown being chased by Unimon. The horse digimon had sent an attack at her. The feline digimon tried to avoid it. But it struck her head on. She had fallen backwards, and her tail ring had flown away from her tail.

"One day, a bossy human appeared and started making Digimon his slaves. He says,'I am the Digimon Emperor!' I heard we're all going to have to punch a time clock, too." She mumbles.

TK eyes grew wide at this news. "You mean there are more humans besides us? There goes the neighborhood..." He rubs his forehead.

Skylar eyes narrowed. She held out her right fist and bawled it. "That stupid digimon Emperor. " She said through gritted teeth. "He is not going to take over the digital world if I have something to say about it. I am going to give them a Skylar slap. " She informs everyone.

Davis blinks and looks confused. "What's a Skylar slap?" he asked, puzzled.

Skylar smiles. "I will demonstrate." She walks over to him.

She slaps Davis on the back of the head.

"Ouch!" Davis cried as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Skylar looks proud of herself as she raises her index finger. "That's a Skylar slap."

Jeremy smirks. "Well, you did ask her." He reminded Davis.

"Shut up." Davis grumbled.

Gatomon continues her story. "He's got this strange new dark digivice that makes us unable to digivovle!" She exclaimed.

Jeremy shook his head. "That sounds terrible."

TK looks over at Davis and Jeremy. "You two show her yours!" He instructed.

The two of them were taken back by the sudden instruction. They slowly pulled out their digivices.

"Huh? This one?" Davis asked.

"Oh, you mean this?" Jeremy held out his orange digivice

Gatomon eyes grew wide as she looked between the two of them. "That's it! You two  work for the Digimon Emperor!" She yelled angrily.

Davis shook his head. "I don't work for anybody! I just got it when it came out of the computer!" He informed the feline digimon.

Jeremy nodded. " Yeah, same here."

Tai frowns as he starts to think to himself. So that's what came out of the Digiegg when I touched it. Five new digivices! But why did Davis and Jeremy get one? What's their purpose in the Digital World? And more importantly, who got the other three?

(Back at the computer lab)

Yolei leans towards Izzy with her eyes narrowed. "Where did everyone disappear to, Izzy." Yolei asked in an interrogating voice.

Izzy hesitated as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I told you, Yolei, they went home!"

Simon slammed his hand against the desk. "That's what you told us last time. But I know Skylar, if she promises me something. She would do it. She wouldn't ditch me just to go home!"

Izzy grimaced. "Aren't you guys supposed to go back and forth between, good cop and bad cop?"

Yolei shook her head. "Were the ones asking questions here, Izzy? We're not letting you off the hook that easily! I know you're hiding something from us, Izzy. Now, what is the Digital World, and what exactly are Digimon?" She asked angrily.

 "I don't know what you're talking about!"

Simon narrows his eyes and exchanges looks with Yolei. "Do you believe him?"

Yolei shook her head. "Not even a little. So if that is true Izzy. Then what are these?" She asked.

Yolei and Simon both held up digivices. Yolei's digivice was bright red. While Simon's was a dark brown.

Izzy eyes grew wide when he looked at both of the digivices. He shot up in his seat. "Where'd you both get that?

"That's what we would like to know." Simon scowled.

Yolei nodded. "Cody's got one, too!" Yolei added as she pointed out the door of the computer room.

Cody was shown out of the computer lab. He was standing at a desk, and he was holding a phone to his ear. He shook his phone and said. "No, Yolei's not coming over. We have to stay after school for the computer club, but since you made the brownies, I'll come over and pick them up first." He informed his mother on the line. He hung up the phone and stared down at the yellow device in his hand.

(Cave in the digital world)

Gatomon walks through the cave, leading the way for the others. "The dark digivice is draining our power and making us weak as newborn kittens." She explains.

Labramon frowns. "Yeah, it's really annoying. It's terrible when I go to work out at the gym... " The dog digimon tried to show off his arms, but he had nothing to show.

The red-headed girl rolled her eyes. "You don't go to the gym,"

"I know..."

Skylar sighs. "We have to do something about this... Digimon Emperor"

Tai looks down at Agumon. "So this dark digivice. That is why you can't digivovle."

Agumon nods. " Yeah! If I could digivolve, he wouldn't stand a chance!"

"The Digimon Emperor uses these powerful dark rings to take control of the digimon!" Gatomon informs the others.

"Yeah, that's right! If the rings catch you, you're a slave for life!

"These collars do everything but get rid of fleas!" Gatomon mumbles.

Jeremy puts a hand on his chin. I wonder if their is a way to get rid of these dark rings.

Kari narrows her eyes. "Digimon Emperor! I'll slap a dark ring on him!"

Skylar started to snarl. "Oh, I would do way more than just slapping the dark ring on him..." She bawls her fists.

Kari sweatdrops. "Same old protective Skylar."

Digimon Emperor watches the digidestined from a screen in front of him. A smirk plays on his lips. "Oh, you think so, do you? Well, this is just a game to me, and I'm afraid that if you can't play by my rules, then I'm just going to have to disqualify you. Hmm. Who will destroy you? Eeny, meeny, miney, mon! Attack, Monochromon!" He presses a button, and a Monochromon appears near the cave. The champion level digimon lets out a mighty roar.

Inside the cave, the digidestined were looking down at the digiegg, that Tai and the digimon found earlier.

TK smirks. "Looks like a deflated beachball! No wonder it has a spike through it!"

"That thing looks weird. " Jeremy exclaimed.

Tai nodded. "Yeah, plus it's heavier than my mom's meatloaf."

Skylar sweatdrops as she laughs. "I wouldn't doubt it. I never touch your mom's cooking."

TK tries to lift the digiegg, but it wouldn't move. "It won't budge!" He exclaimed.

Kari pushed him aside. "Move over. This is a woman's job!" Kari tried to lift the egg with all her might. But nothing happened.

TK chuckled. "Too bad we don't have a woman here to help."

Skylar smirks as she rolled up her sleeves. "I might be the woman you're looking for." She set Labramon down and walked over to the egg. "Step aside."

Skylar tried to pull on it, but it didn't move.

"Stupid egg... " She grumbles.

Davis held up his arms. "Guys! I pump iron all the time! Let me do it!" He said confidently.

Jeremy rolled his eyes. "Yeah... like it will come out because of that..."

Davis tries to lift the egg, and he falls back as the egg lifts off the ground. Everyone in the room gasped.

Davis smirks as he holds the egg above his head. "See? What'd I tell you? Light as a feather!" He boasted.

Jeremy blinks. "Well, I guess I was wrong."

"There's a problem!" Tai pointed out.

A blue light shines from the spot where the egg was removed, and a small blue creature emerges from it.

"Yahoo! Free at last! Free at last! You moved the digiegg! My name's Veemon. But you can just call me Veemon. "The rookie digimon hops around Davis with a huge dopey grin across its face.

"Wow, this guy is a little..."

"Annoying." Skylar finished for Jeremy.

Labramon nodded to agree with the both of them. "You two can say that again."

Davis blinks as he stares down at Veemon. "Uh, hi, I'm Davis."

"I've heard of Veemon! Supposedly, he's a fun-loving, adventure-seeking little digimon that brings you good luck. But I thought he was just a legend!" Agumon informs everyone.

Veemon shook his head. "Nope! I'm real, and I've been waiting my whole life to meet you, Davis!"

Davis rubs the back of his neck. "Uh, I think you've got the wrong guy."

"Nope, you're the one all right because you were the only one who was able to move the digiegg of courage!" The blue rookie digimon said with a smile.

Everything inside of the cave started to shake.

Jeremy tried to stand but he fell over. "Ahh! What's going on?" He asked.

"What's that, an earthquake?" Davis looks around the room.

Everyone was racing towards the exit of the cave. Once they were outside, TK pointed out to a Monochromon.

 "No, look up there!"

The champion digimon attack them from above.

"A monster!" Davis yelled in fear.

"That is one tough looking creature." Jeremy bawled his fists.

Kari shook her head. "No, that's a digimon!"

"Monochromon! His shell is harder than diamonds! His attack, Volcanic Strike, sends out millions of fireballs!"TK exclaimed.

Labramon gritted his fangs. "Those digimon are very tough. And without us being able to digivolve...he is one powerful digimon. "

The rookie digimon raced out in front of the humans.

"Pepper breath!"

"Retriever G!"

"Boom bubble!"

The attacks truly didn't look like they did nothing to the champion level digimon.

"Volcanic Strike!" Monochromon roared. Balls of fire ran down at all of us.

"Come on, let's go!" TK shouted, leading the way away from the cave.

Jeremy held his arms over his head. "Right behind you! "

They all ran out in the opening.

Tai looks over at Davis. "Davis!"

Davis stopped running. Veemon looked up at Davis, and the rookie digimon bawled his fists.

"Davis, hurry up and open the digiegg!" The rookie instructed.

"How?" Davis asked.

"Davis, get down here!" Tai shouted.

Monochromon sends volcanic strike at all of them. Sending the digidestined flying back.

"Ahh!" Davis and Veemon cried out.

"Woah!" Kari screamed as she was knocked back onto her butt.

Skylar was sent somersaulting backward. "Ahh!"

Jeremy landed on his back. Pain shot into his back when he landed on the ground. "Wow." This is not what I thought being in the Digital world would be like. I always imagined being a digidestined would be fun. But this is dangerous.

Veemon ran over to Davis' side. "Davis, are you okay? Tell me what hurts!"

Davis groans and sits up. "Everything but my earlobes."

Veemon bawls his fists. "You control the digiegg of courage! You've got to use your courage to open it up!"

Jeremy and the others got up to their feet. Labramon was helping Skylar up to her feet. The red-headed girl placed a hand on her forehead. "I never want to do that again." She mumbled.

"Davis! Get up, it's not safe!" Tai shouted at him.

Davis nodded and quickly got up to his feet. "Okay."

"I can digivovle if you open up the digiegg, but you have to have courage to do it!" Veemon explained quickly.

Skylar blinks. "What is that blue dragon talking about now?"

Labramon tilted his head. "Something about having courage..."

Agumon looked worried as the kids all stood their ground. "Tai!"

"We've got to get out of here!" TK suggested.

Gatomon looked behind her and saw that Kari was still sitting on the ground. The girl was holding her left ankle. A pain look was on her face. "Kari?"

"I can't move my ankle!" She cried.

Jeremy looked over at her. "Oh no.. are you okay?" He asked worriedly.

"We're sitting ducks here!" Tai shouted.

Monochromon lets out another loud roar and runs towards Kari. Who couldn't move.

"Davis!" Veemon yelled.

Tai stared at Davis. "Have courage."

Davis frowned. "Kari's in trouble! Do you want courage? I'll show you!" Davis held out the digiegg and barred his teeth. "DIGIARMOUR ENERGIZE!" He shouted.

His blue digivice started to glow.

"Armor digivovle?" Tai whispered in shock.

Skylar blinks. "That's new..."

Davis is in surprise when he stares at the armor digimon in front of him. "Woah, what's that?"

"I am Flamedramon. As Veemon, I used the digiegg of courage to armor digivovle. My 'Fire Rocket' attack will charbroil the enemy like a well-done steak!"

The Digimon Emperor looks surprised when he stares at the screen. "Armor Digivolve? Against the power of my dark digivice, they shouldn't be able to Digivolve at all! Hmm... they're more resourceful than I thought."

Monochromon roars once more and shouts. "Volcanic Strike!"

Everyone started to scream as molten rocks were thrown at them.

Flamedramon pounced into the air. And pointed his claw like hands at the champion digimon. "Fire Rocket!"

"Barbeque that Dark Ring, Flamedramon!" Gatomon cheered.

Flamedramon lands down back at the ground and charges forward to fight with Monochromon. The champion digimon tried to attack using his horn. But the armor digimon expertly dodges to the right and strikes the dark ring with his claws. The dark ring shatters, and Monochromon was freed from the digimon emperor control.

Flamedramon fights with Monochromon and breaks the dark ring. He de digivovles after the fight

"Woah, what's this?" Davis looks down at his hand, and he found that he was holding a small computer-like device.

Skylar stares down at it. "Maybe another gift from the digital world." She suggested.

Later on, everyone was surrounding the Monochromon, who was now no longer a threat.

Kari was petting the champion level digimon. "That's a good Monochromon!"

Wormmon walked into the digimon emperor room. "You summoned me, oh evil Emperor?" He asked.

Digimon Emperor smirked as he continued staring at the screen in front of him. "I believe we have found ourselves worthy foes at last. The kid with the Veemon causes amour digivoulation. That's very interesting... " He mused aloud.

Wormmon sounds cheerful." Great! Just one question" Wormon titled his head. "What's a foe?"

(Back with the digidestined, they were now waving at Monochromon and were walking into the woods.)

Kari and Skylar were waving goodbye. "Goodbye, Monochromon! Don't forget to write!" Kari shouted.

"We will see you again!" Skylar added on.

TK shakes his head as he watches after the champion digimon. "I can't believe the Digimon Emperor could turn such a nice digimon into such an evil creature."

Veemon holds out his hand. "Nice working with you, Davis. Let's do it again sometime. "

Davis nods. "Great! " Davis shook his hand

Tai smiles. "Hey, guys, that Armor digivolving was pretty cool!"

Agumon nods. "Even though the rest of us can't digivolve, I'm sure that you new kids will be able to take care of the Digimon Emperor with no problem!"

Jeremy rubs the back of his neck. "Yeah, just let me try to find a digimon partner first."

Veemon smirks. "Yeah! Leave it to us!"

Tai walks over to Davis and takes off his goggles. "Davis, you were really brave back there in that battle, but I noticed that you broke your goggles. And as we know, the leader of the digidestined just wouldn't look right without them. So here, I want you to have mine." He hands Davis his goggles, and Davis puts them on top of his head.

"Wow!"

Kari giggles. "They look real cute!"

Davis blushes.

Patamon smiles as he looks off into the sky. The sun had started to set. "Good. The sun's going down. Now we can relax!"

Labramon snapped his fingers. "Darn it... I missed lunch."

Jeremy blinked. "Why is it a good sign that the sun is setting?" Jeremy asked.

"Because the Digimon Emperor never appears at night!" Gatomon informed him.

Skylar placed a hand over her heart. "That's a relief. It will give you guys some time to relax."

Agumon looks up at Tai. "Excuse me, Tai, but it's getting kind of late. Don't you guys need to go home soon?" he asked.

Tai nodded. "That's right. But I'm not even sure if we can get home! Careful, never stay too long." He warned Davis and Jeremy.

They all started walking back to the gate.

(Back at the computer lab)

Yolei leans forward with a look of excitement when Cody walks back into the lab. "Hey, Izzy, Cody's back. Can we go to the digital world now?" She asked hopefully.

Simon nodded to agree with her. "Can we? Everything you said sounds so exciting."

Izzy shook his head. " The gate might close. It's not safe."

Yolei looks over Izzy's shoulder and points at the computer. "Hey, what does it mean when the light on that thing goes on?" She asked.

Izzy looks back at the computer. "What thing?"

"That thing on the computer! I just saw the light go on. Oohh!"

Davis' face showed up on the computer screen.

"Hey, guys, let me in! It's Davis!

Davis and everyone else was pulled into the Tv.

The digimon watched as they were pulled through and blinked

" You don't see that every day." Agumon exclaimed

Labramon shook his head. "Nope..."

"Woah!" The digidestined zoomed out of the computer and landed on Izzy, Yolei, and Simon in a heap.

"Get off! You're crushing my brownies!" Izzy shouted.

Skylar gasped at this news. "And you weren't going to share!!!"

Author note: Hey guys! So, the first episode of Jeremy scripts has been posted. And remade. So, no longer, Jeremy will digivovle into a digimon. It... was just plain, stupid...

I did have an idea for it though...but later on in a book far, far away. So I decided to change it.

What do you think about this new character? Simon does seem like a little troublemaker. What digimon partner will he have. Will Skylar ever kill him? You must read to find out!

He did appear in Skylar scripts.

I hope you all have a good day :3
