"One medium as promised" Jules and Mac says to Sam and Jade as they placed an unconscious Lafayette in the salt pentagram that the sisters had drawn onto the floor of Eric's home.

"So you ended up drugging him" Sam says, "he's going to be pissed off when he wakes up" she says.

"I've been faced with worse odds" Mac says with a casual shrug, "did you manage to speak with Sookie?"

"Yes, and we ended up not having to kidnap her to do it" Jade retorts as she sprinkled something like sand on the floor along the lines of the pentagram that they had Lafayette sleeping in.

"Is it me or is there a shift in the air?" Jules asks them when the wind outside started to pick up a bit.

"Then our plan is working" Sam says.

"Isn't it against the rules for you two do this to someone whose asleep or something?" Mac asks them, "I ask because you two keep reiterating about all the trouble you'll get in for breaking the rules" he reminds them.

"Don't worry yourself on that" Jade says to them l, continuing to place the sand all around the pentagram as Lafayette groans at this as he sat up with a jolt.

"What the fuck!" he says before groaning again as he placed his hands on either sides of his temple to soothe the headache that he had. "I'mma kick all ya'lls asses!" he says angrily, standing on shaky legs as he does as he moves to step out the pentagram only to hit an invisible wall. "What the fuck?!" he says in shock as he tried to leave only to hit the wall again, "what the fuck ya'll done to me?" he asks, looking at Sam and Jade.

"Confinement spell" Sam says coolly, "hi Lafayette, good to see you again" she says.

"Why the fuck did ya'll make these motherfuckers kidnap me?" he asks them angrily after giving up against hitting the wall when he realizes that he wasn't going anywhere.

"We had hoped that you'd come along with them without a fuss but apparently you were a little...difficult" Jade says to him.

"Get me outta this here circle and I'll show you difficult, bitch!" he says angrily.

"Come on now, Lala, no name calling" Jade says with a mocking pout as he looks at her in shock at this.

"H-How you know that name?" he asks her in shock.

"We know all" Sam says with a smug, all-knowing tone, "I'm kidding we heard Sookie call you that" she explains to him.

"Why the fuck am I important enough for you two to kidnap?" he asks them in annoyance, "I'm nothin' more than a medium" he tries to defend himself.

"You're a lot more than that, doll" Sam says to him as he frowns a bit at this.

"What the fuck you mean?"

"Don't worry. You'll find out soon enough" Jade says to him as he scowled at them.

The sun was setting when Sookie pulled up in front of her home as she climbed out of her car and locked it before making her way up the stairs leading to the front door of her gran's house.

She unlocks the front door and enters, making her way to the kitchen to grab a cola from the fridge before moving to make her way upstairs only to hear a rustling sound coming from her backyard.

"Hello?" she says, making her way there. "Somebody here?" she asks, opening the door that led to the backyard as she turned on the back light and looked around.

She turns to head inside only to gasp in shock when she sees Jade standing there.

"J–"

She doesn't get to finish her sentence before collapsing into the woman's arms as Jade dragged her into the backyard where Sam materialized from the shadows to her left.

"Do it" Jade says to her sister as Sam pulled out a bottle of crushed rock salt and started to draw a circle around Sookie's unconscious form.

"Here faerie, faerie, faerie" Sam calls out loud in a mocking manner as she continued to pour the salt all around Sookie.

"That won't work" Jade says, "maybe it should be something like this" she says as she lifted her hands, causing dark clouds to fill the sky though no rain fell as her eyes glow silver and thunder crashed in the background. "Oh Niall!" she shouts loudly in a sing-song manner, "I know you're there!" she added.

"You have 3 seconds to respond or I'll kill your precious little kin!" she shouted loudly as the winds started to pick up at this. "3!" she says as a bolt of lightning hits the ground behind her, "2!" she shouted as two bolts hit the ground 3 feet from Sookie, "1–"

Jade cries out when she's knocked back less than a second later as Sam's eyes also glow silver when a young man of no more than 25 years materialized out of the air a few feet away from them.

"Get away from her!" he shouted as Sam grins at this.

"Bingo" Sam says with a grin right before he blasts her with an energy ball as Sam groans at this when she landed a few feet from her sister, who offers her a hand. They lift their hands and cause vines to wrap themselves around the young fae's legs.

"A trap" he realizes.

"You're a smart one" Sam says sarcastically when they approached him as Sookie rose from her spot on the ground as he looked at her in shock at this.

"Y-You're awake" the unnamed boy says.

"You okay, Sookie?" Jade asks her.

"Yeah, those second bolts were a bit to close though" she replies.

"Sorry. I had to make it look realistic" Jade says.

"How'd you know that someone would really appear?" Sookie asks them.

"Witches and faes have a...history" Sam reveals to her before all of their eyes land on the young fae. "So what's your name, young hero?" she taunts him.

He looks away as if to say that he wouldn't speak.

"Ah, the classic fae stubbornness" Jade says, "don't worry, young grasshopper. You aren't the one that we seek" she says before placing her hands on either sides of his head as he groaned in pain while Jade's eyes glow silver as a bright light covered her and the unnamed fae.

Sookie gasps when they disappear in a bright flash of light.

"W-Where did they go?" she asks.

"To a land far, far away" Sam says, "I'm kidding they are in Fae" she says.

"That's where they are? The other faeries?" Sookie asks her.

"Do you usually ask obvious questions?" Sam asks her, causing Sookie to blush in embarrassment at this.

"Fae is known by many names, including the realm of the faeries or Faerie" Sam shares with her as Sookie gives her a grateful look at this.

⚜️Dig Down Deep⚜️

"Lafayette!" Jesús Velásquez says to his lover when he found him exactly where Lafayette texted him to come.

Lafayette tries to say something from within the pentagram but no sound came out of his mouth as Jesús raced over to him, already muttering a spell to help his lover out of the pentagram that we was being held in.

"I'll get you out, mi amor" Jesús says as he tried to reach for his lover but he finds himself sucked into the pentagram less than a second later as he looked around in shock when he sees himself standing in the pentagram with Lafayette.

"Damn, they've got you too" Lafayette comments from within the pentagram.

"You can talk now" Jesús says in shock, "what's going on, mi amor?" he asks in concern as he cupped Lafayette's face.

"Two witch bitches are holding us captive is what" Lafayette says.

"I wouldn't let them hear you say that" Mac says as he and Jules appeared from where they had been hidden when Jesús made his way into Eric's home.

"You're supernatural too" Jesús remarks, sensing that even from within the pentagram. "What do you want with us?!" he asks angrily.

"Relax" Jules says to the man, "we don't want to hurt either of you" he says.

"I don't like 'em motherfuckers but I believe that part's true" Lafayette says to him, "they're with those 2 witches I done told you about in the past, remember?" he says to Jesús.

"Why hold us captive if you don't actually want to hurt us?" Jesús asks Jules and Mac.

"Those were the orders" Mac says with a casual shrug.

"This magic is incredible" Jesús says as he pressed his hand against the invisible wall holding him and Lafayette in the pentagram. "What do these women want from you, mi amor?" he asks Lafayette.

"They said some shit about using me as a conduit" Lafayette says to him as Jesús' eyes widen at this.

"B-But how are they drawing from you without being here with you?" He asks Lafayette.

"Beats me" Lafayette says with a shrug as Jesús turned to face Jules and Mac at this.

"Where are these women?" he asks them, sounding awed and a bit fearful because of how powerful these witches must be.

They are nothing like his type of witch, which is more powerful when they are a part of a coven.

"They're at Sookie's" Lafayette replies.

⚜️Dig Down Deep⚜️

(Meanwhile on Fae)

"You have a lot of guts to come here alone, witch" one of the faeries says to Jade when she and the unnamed young fae appeared on Fae in a bright burst of light where they are soon surrounded by a group of faeries whose hands were glowing, ready to attack her.

"I'm interested in Niall, not any of you" Jade says to them in a cool and casual tone.

"And what do you want from me, Jadenna of Azareeka?" Niall Brigant asks her as the gathered crowds parted the way for him when he made his way toward her. "You've taken a risk coming here after the threat on my great-granddaughter's life" he remarks.

He hasn't changed in all the years that she's known the faerie king.

"Desperate times call for desperate measures" Jade says, removing the vines from the unnamed fae's legs as he staggered away from her to stand next to Niall who steadies the young man's uneven footing without looking away from Jade for a second.

"What would lead you to become so desperate that your kind turns to us?" Niall asks her.

"Don't forget that it was my kind that created you, Niall, so a little less of the attitude" Jade says to him as he gestured for his people to lower their energy balls, which dissolve in their hands. "I'll get straight to the point" she says, "I need your help to get a message to Azareeka" she says.

"Why should I help you?"

"Because if you don't then you and all your people will lose this sanctuary that you call home" Jade points out to him, "Sumelion has the Phoenix Queen" she reveals as gasps and murmurs fill the air at this as Niall's face falls at the revelation.

"I see how that would represent an issue" Niall remarks, "follow me" he says as he turned on his heel and walked off as Jade followed.

(Sookie's backyard)

"So explain to me again why you didn't go with Jade" Sookie says to Samaat.

"Well I have to keep the gateway open for when she returns" Samaat explains to her. "Not to mention I dislike faeries. No offense" she directs to Sookie.

"Why? What did the faeries ever do to you?"

"Long story. Not enough time" Sam replies.

"I'm sure you can simplify it" Sookie says.

"One of them blasted me with those little microwave hands that you guys have" Sam reveals, "not a pleasant feeling" she says.

"Why did Maryann like it so much then?" Sookie asks in confusion.

"Because she was crazy. Simply put" Sam replies.

"Sam, can you tell me more about Fae?" Sookie asks her, "I just...I've always felt like such a loner because of my powers and it just...blows my mind that there are other people like me out there" she explains to Sam, who sighs at this.

She opens her mouth to say something only for the energy around them to shift as she pushes Sookie behind her protectively as the same fae that she and Jade had covered in vines materializes in a bright burst of light.

"Relax, witch. I'm not here to fight" he says, holding his hands up surrender as the glow of Sam's eyes dies down.

"Oh yeah? Then what do you want?" Sam asks coolly, regarding him suspiciously.

"My king sent me here to help you keep the gateway open" he replies, "and I thought this would be a good chance for me to meet my sister's goddaughter" he says, looking at Sookie as she gasps at this. "Hi there, I'm Claude" he reveals to them.

⚜️Dig Down Deep⚜️

Eric and Godric land in Sookie's backyard 35 minutes later as Sookie yelps at this when she, Sam and Claude turn to face them.

"How interesting" Eric comments, tilting his head to the side when he smells that the man that they were with smelled just like Sookie did, if not stronger.

He must also be a faerie.

"Ms. Sinclair, has everything gone according to plan?" Godric questions Sam in concern.

"Yeah. Jade is in Fae as we speak" Sam reassures Godric.

"You're looking far more rested" Eric notes. "And who is this?" he asks them, gesturing to Claude who was looking between Sam, Sookie and the 2 vampires with a hint of unease.

"This is my...what are you again?" Sookie starts only to turn and face the man in question.

"You can call me your faerie guardian" Claude replies.

"Right" Sookie says with a small grin, "this is Claude, my faerie guardian" Sookie explains to the 2 vampires.

"Hann lyktar ljúffengt (He smells delicious)" Eric says in Old Norse.

"I don't know what the hell you just said but seeing as how you're looking at ol' Claude here like he's a bucket of KFC, I'mma point out to you that you cannot eat him" Sam says to the tall vampire.

"Thanks for the KFC comparison" Claude says to her in a dry, deadpan manner as Sookie giggles at this.

"Ms. Stackhouse I am curious about where your...Bill is" Godric comments, noting that he could not smell or see the younger vampire anywhere.

Sookie's smile falls at the mention of the vampire as Sam arches a brow at this. She never did get around to asking Sookie about where the man was.

"W-We broke up" Sookie reveals to him, sounding a little upset at this. "Turns out he was workin' for the Vampire Queen and she wanted him to bring me in to her" she says, averting her head and shifting from side to side at this.

Godric turns to face his childe at this and Eric nods as if to confirm his father's unspoken question.

Given all that's happened recently he hadn't had the opportunity to confirm that Godric's suspicions of the younger vampire were indeed true and that he was a spy sent by the Vampire Queen.

"How...disappointing" Godric remarks. "Ms. Kingsley, I'm curious to know about the passage of time in these...realms that you've spoken of" he says.

"You told them about the realms?!" Claude says in panic.

"Oh relax, Claudie boy. It's not that serious" Sam says with an eye roll.

"You do realize that you'll–"

Claude doesn't get to finish his line of thought because the air around them shifts as a bright burst of light appears out of nowhere and Jade appears before them, coming out of what appeared to be a portal.

"Jade!" Sookie comments she sees the other woman. "Did it work? Did everything go as planned?"

"The message has been sent to Azareeka" Jade confirms to all of them with a nod. "Your king wants you back" she directs to Claude.

"Well it's been fun" Claude says to them in a sarcastic tone before disappearing in a burst of light of his own.

"I don't think I'mma ever get used to seein' ya'll do that" Sookie says to them. "So what now? Will the people in this...Azareeka help ya'll with savin' Marina?"

"We can't know for sure" Sam admits solemnly, "but we had to try" she adds.

"Last night you two were complaining about magical exhaustion and today you're the strongest that you've ever been. How?" Eric asks them, regarding them under suspicious eyes.

"We have a powerful conduit" Jade replies.

"Ya'll have a powerful what?" Sookie asks them, blissfully unaware that their conduit was in fact Lafayette.

"Never you mind about that" Sam says to her, "we need to get back to your place" she says to Eric.

"Let's go" Godric says to them before taking off into the sky as Eric moved to take Sam and Jade with him too.

"Wait!" Sookie shouts after them, "if ya'll need my help with anythin' then don't be strangers" she says to them.

"You've got it, faerie" Sam says to her just before Eric takes off with Sam and Jade as Sookie started to make her way toward her home only to stop and turn to face behind her. "Claude? You still there?" she calls out for the faerie male.

When she receives no response she shrugs and heads into her home.

⚜️Dig Down Deep⚜️

"It's about damn time ya'll came back!" Lafayette exclaims angrily when Sam and Jade make their way into the room that he and Jesús were being confined in. "Ah hell" he says fearfully, when his eyes land on Godric and Eric.

It goes without saying that these 2 vampires scared the holy hell out of him.

"Well, well, what a pleasant surprise" Eric comments with a half-smirk at the sight of the other man. "I'm offended that you've replaced me, Lala" he says, eyeing Jesús.

Jesús can see that being in the same room as these vampires makes Lafayette very nervous and jittery and he could feel that in his magic.

"Oh wow, you're a lot more powerful than I assumed, brujo" Sam says to Jesús when she felt his magic as she came to stand next to the magical barrier.

"Why did you hold us captive? What do you want from us?" Jesús asks them, looking between all of them nervously.

"Well we needed a magical boost and seeing as Lala here is the closest battery we could find. We figured why not" Jade says casually.

"Ya'll plannin' on lettin' us go anytime soon?" Lafayette asks them.

"Of course we will. We're not complete monsters" Sam says with a small wink.

"You had your lackeys kidnap us" Lafayette points out dryly, gesturing to Jules and Mac.

"I'm not a fan of that title" Jules says to him.

"Everything go according to plan?" Mac questions them, ignoring Lafayette's comment.

"As close to the plan as possible" Sam replies.

"What now?" Jules questions them.

"Now we find Marina" Godric speaks up as all eyes land on the terrifying vampire as Sam and Jade nod at this.

A/N: Do not fear, guys. I have not abandoned this story but I've been STRUGGLING to think of stuff for it so that's why updates for this one will be less frequent than my other stories. All of that aside though, I hope that you guys enjoyed this chapter.
