Rina collapses weakly onto her knees when she's hit by a wave of Maryann's powers as she made her way back to the altar that she'd set up for her husband, which Sam and Jade had pushed over, which put a dent in the maenad's plans as she wanted everything to be just perfect for her 'wedding'. 

"What have you done?!" she asks Samaat and Jade angrily. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" she demands angrily as they shoot her smug looks at this. "You will pay for this effrontery against my husband!" she shouts angrily as she started to vibrate like crazy as the townspeople started screaming and crying as they clutched their heads in pain.

"Stop! You're hurting them!" Sookie begged as she looked around her in distress, unable to do anything to help the people she's known and grown up with all her life.

Even Tara and Lafayette were back under the influence of Maryann's powers, as well as Jason and the rest of the community.

"Leave them alone!" Rina shouted furiously as she weakly rose to her feet as the the townspeople stopped screaming as Maryann turned to face Marina in shock at this.

"I-Impossible" she says in shock as she watched Rina's eyes glow from orange to red.

"Oh FUCK!" Jade shouted in concern when she sees the sight.

"H-How could I not see it?" Maryann asks in shock and awe as she slowly progressed toward Rina. "The Phoenix Queen" she adds with a delighted laugh. "Such marvel" Maryann says as she lifted her head and opened her arms as if submitting herself to Rina's power. "He hears me!" she says, "you are proof that he hears me" she says to Rina as flames engulfed her body as she burst into a bright and hot inferno.

"Rina, no!" Sam says in distress.

"Silence!" Maryann says angrily. "You are in the presence of a goddess" she says in awe, "bow!" she demands of her supporters as they all fell on their knees before Marina as everyone who wasn't possessed by the maenad looked at one another in shock at the turn of events. "Will he soon join us, goddess?" she asks Rina hopefully, "my husband?" she asks.

"Yes" Rina replies, "I will summon him" she says as she started to rise from off the ground as the townspeople started to cheer happily at this as Rina levitated 2 feet off the ground as she stared down at all the people all looking up at her expectantly. "Dionysus, my brother!" she shouts loudly, "your humble servant, your love" she adds as Maryann smiles happily at this, "awaits your arrival most eagerly" she says.

They all hear the sound of a bull mooing in the distance as Maryann gasped in shock at this.

"My love" Maryann whispers in pure, unfiltered joy as she approaches the brown and white bull. "Oh my love, you have finally come!" she says in joy as Rina lowered herself back onto the ground as the glow of her powers started to die down. She staggers a bit as she tries to steady herself.

Marynann caresses the bull in love and adoration.

"Your vessel is ready, my love" she adds, "when I feed you his heart then we can finally be together at long last" she vows.

Just as she's speaking the bull impales her with its horns.

"Oh!" she says in shock, "I am to be the sacrifice?" she asks, "I agree" she adds, "I offer myself to you!" she adds as her supporters cry out and whine in their large numbers at this.

"Silence" Rina says in a deep sounding voice that sounded nothing like her own as she shook violently as blood started to fall from her nose.

"Mo grá" Godric says in concern when he smells her blood.

"YES, RAVISH ME! I AM READY!" Maryann shouts as the bull transforms back into a very nude Mac who pulls her gross, black heart out of her chest as Maryann's mouth parted in shock at at this.

"M-My love" she whispered in shock, surprised to see that she had not noticed his disappearance in the craziness of the night right before falling to the ground as Rina exhales at this as the strain of restricting Maryann's influence on the townspeople is eased from her shoulders as Maryann's influence died along with her.

Marina stumbles at this as her eyes roll into the back of her head before collapsing less than a second later.

"Rina!" Sam and Jade cry out as they watched her fall in horror as Godric sped to catch her.

"Marina" he says in concern.

"I'm fine" she says with a weak smile.  "She's really dead though, right? Because I don't think that I can deal with her again" she teases as he smiles at this. "She hurt you" she says when he sees the mark on his chest, which was still healing slowly – much too slow for a vampire.

"I'll be fine" he reassures her as he carries her in his arms. He offers all of the others a nod at this before taking off into the sky with Marina and Pam and Eric soon followed, taking the dead maenad with them.

"W-What in the hell happened here?" one of the woman asks in shock as everyone started to come to their senses.

"Good people!" Samaat says as they all started to regain their senses. "We are from the government" she adds. "There was a major gas leakage in this area..." she adds as she started to launch into an explanation as Sookie made her way over to Bill as he took her into his arms.

"Oh Bill" she says.

"It's okay now Sookeh" he says, "everything is okay now" he adds as she hugged him tighter as Sam Merlotte watches them sadly from where he stood as he offered Julian a hand.

"You guys saved all of us" he says to the other man as he helped him up.

"Wasn't really much of a help" Julian says to him, "but I'll be sure to pass your gratitude over to the appropriate people" he adds.

"She really a phoenix?" Sam finds himself asking, having read Greek legends about phoenixes and how they rose from their ashes and became reborn, "how's that work exactly since he's a vampire?" he adds but Julian merely give him a tight smile at this though he doesn't respond.

"Good lord!" one man gasps when they see the naked Mac.

"Christmas sure done come early!" one of the women added as she looked at Mac in lust as Julian chuckles at this.

"I have to go help him out" he says to Sam Merlotte, "but if you're ever in Dallas then give me a call" he adds, "it's nice to meet another member of the were/shifter family" he added before heading off to go and search for something that Mac could use to cover his naked form with.

Jade offers her jacket as the blushing Mac used it to cover himself as some people looked at him like he was a snack while others looked at him like he was some kind of freak.

"I'm fine" Rina says to Godric for the umpteenth time that night after they landed back at Eric's house.

"Your heartbeat tells me otherwise" he says as he but into his wrist and offered his blood to her. "You must drink, my love" he urges her.

"My heartbeat is slow because using my powers is draining for me" Rina informs him, "as it would be for anyone else" she says as she places a finger over his lips before he could speak. "I just need to sleep tonight off and then everything will be alright" she adds.

"The last time your heartbeat was this slow–" Godric starts, recalling how she died in his arms after drinking the belladonna that Sam and Jade gave her.

"Will having me drink your blood make you feel better?" she asks him.

"Yes" he replies immediately as Rina sighs at this.

"Fine" she adds as Godric bites into his wrist and offers her his blood as Rina shyly drinks from his wrist.

His blood was like a thick ambrosia and reminded her of the strawberry milkshakes that she used to adore drinking as a child as Godric looked down at his lover in a mixture of lust and pride when she drank from him before she drew back from him, having had her fill.

"Happy?" she asks him teasingly as she lifts her eyes to meet his as Godric wiped away the blood that remained on her lips with his thumb before licking it clean as Rina flushes at the intimacy of the action when he doesn't break eye contact with her.

"I'm very pleased, mo grá" he says to her. "Now get some rest while I update Isabel and Joseph of our success in handling the maenad" he says as Rina nodded at this as she lay back on her pillow and within a few minutes she was out cold though Godric was pleased to hear her heartbeat steady.

"I am pleased to hear of your success in Louisiana, sheriff" Isabel says to him after he'd updated her about how they'd finally taken down the maenad, "I shall book your flight back to Dallas immediately" she adds.

"Tell him about the other thing" he hears Joseph say.

"What other thing?" Godric asks his second.

"The – King of Texas took it upon himself to share with all his fellow monarchs, magisters and sheriffs the state of yours and Marina's relationship" Isabel admits as Godric swears in Ancient Gaulish at this.

That meddling piece of shit!

"And they have sent gifts for Marina, I assume?" Godric questions when he gains composure of himself.

"Tons" Isabel replies, "they are all in a room and remain untouched" she adds.

"Thank you, Isabel. Thank you Joseph" he says as he concluded his phone-call with them.

Eric made his way into the living room where his maker stood as he lounges casually into one of the couches.

"Queen Sophie-Anne is happy about the demise of the maenad" he adds, "and she sends her well wishes to yourself and Marina" he adds, further proving that all the monarchs and sheriffs now knew of his relationship with Marina.

"Walter Kelly had no right to tell anyone about Marina and I until I saw it fit for the knowledge to be made public!" Godric exclaims angrily and Eric is pleased that he's not to the cause of his maker's anger because Godric was downright terrifying when angered.

"But what can you do about it, father–?" Eric asks him.

"He paints a target on Marina's back far bigger than the one she had before" Godric says as he walked the length of the room calmly, which Eric knows to his maker's version of angry pacing.

"Even if people know of her" Eric says, "what–?"

"Do not finish that sentence" Godric warns his son as Eric gulps nervously at this. "It makes all the difference as it places interest on her and interest means that her secret is that much closer to being exposed" he adds as Eric nods stiffly at this. "Call the queen's spy and inform him that I want to see him. Now" he adds firmly as Eric pulled out his phone and dialed Bill Compton's cell-phone number.

"Eric" the man says in a tone of contempt.

"Godric wishes to speak with you" Eric informs him. "You have 5 minutes" he adds as Godric held up his hand to show him how much time he was giving him before hanging up.

"Now call up the Kingsley sisters and inform them that none of the townspeople are to have any recollection of what Marina truly is" Godric says.

"And the shifter?" he asks, referring to Sam Merlotte.

"The shifter will keep his mouth shut if he understands what's good for him" Godric replies simply. "And if he does not–" Godric says as he let's the statement hang.

Well then I'll kill him the older vampire doesn't say aloud as Eric smirks at this.

"It is good to have you back, father" Eric says with a grin as he tilted his head toward his father in respect at this.

⚜️Dig Down Deep⚜️

"Tell me something, Mr. Compton, how old your queen again?" Godric asks the other man coolly.

"She is 750 years old if my memory is correct, sir" Bill replies nervously from his seat across from Godric. He'd never run as fast as he did after he got Eric's call.

"Ah" Godric says. "And have you informed her of the night's events yet?" he asks the younger vampire as he stared him down.

"I don't–"

"Do not insult my intelligence!" Godric hissed at the other vampire in warning as he kept at his throat and pinned him to the marble floors of Eric's gone, causing one of the tiles to crack a bit at this. "Now tell me the truth" he adds, "have you told her of the night's events yet or not?"

"N-No, sir" Bill replied from under Godric's grip.

"You wouldn't happen to be lying to me now would you, Mr. Compton?"

"No, sir. Never" Bill says honestly as Godric released him.

"Good" Godric says to him. "If she asks how we defeated the maenad you will spin a tale shrouded in half-truths so as to avoid making her suspicious" he adds, "however you will also make some certain omissions" he adds pointedly as his hand tightens around Bill's neck, "are we understood?" he asks.

Bill is well aware that those omissions would include Marina's involvement and powers in handling the maenad.

"Y-Yes sir!" Bill choked out from underneath Godric's hand, gasping for air even though he had no true need for it as he was undead.

"Marvelous" Godric says to him as he withdrew from the younger vampire as Bill sat up at thus, grasping at his sore throat. "Remember this, young vampire" Godric says to him, "your queen may be the sovereign but I am two times stronger than her" he warns Bill who nods at this. "You may go" he says to Bill who quickly rose to his feet at this, offering Godric a bow as he does.

"T-Thank you, sir" Bill says to him as he prepared to leave.

"Oh and procurer" Godric says as Bill stiffens at this and how Godric knows his dark secret, "I trust you will not bring much emotional distress to Ms. Stackhouse as she has proven herself to be of great use to our kind and a good acquaintance to Marina" he adds, "and well, what upsets Marina does not bode well for those who do" he adds.

"I understand, sir" Bill says before disappearing in the blink of an eye when Godric waved him off.

⚜️Dig Down Deep⚜️

"A faerie?" Sookie asks Jade in shock after the townspeople had their memories cleaned of the memory of the battle against Maryann and everything that happened during it. "Well that's...kinda lame" she adds as Jade snorts at this.

She had approached Jade as she found her less intimidating than Samaat and asked her if she knew what she is and Jade had begrudgingly revealed the truth to her.

"Don't underestimate your power. Your photokinesis can get quite powerful if you learned how to handle it" she adds.

"Oh, is that what it's called?" Sookie asks her and Jade nods at this. "Is this why you and your sister don't like me?" she asks Jade bluntly.

"We haven't had many peaceful interactions with your kind in the past – if at all" Jade says to her with an honest shrug.

"There's more people like me?!" Sookie asks excitedly, bearing no ill-will against them for their mistrust after what sounded like bad encounters.

"Millions more" Jade says, "and don't take this the wrong way but faeries usually have sticks up their asses" she adds as Sookie giggles at this, taking no offense, "not to mention trouble follows you lot around like you wouldn't believe" she adds.

"I do believe it" Sookie says, "and this is really openin' my eyes up to so many things in my past" she adds, "my gran used to say: "Sookie Stackhouse you must have the words 'come hither' stamped on your forehead given much trouble you get into" she says with a fond smile at the memory.

"Jadenna!" Samaat calls out for her sister as she approached the SUV that Julian and Mac were already getting into.

"You think she'll ever like me?" Sookie asks Jade sheepishly, referring to the distrust that Samaat had for her.

"It's hard to say" Jade says as she rose from her spot on the steps of Sookie's house, which had definitely seen better days.

"Can I call y'all if I ever need help with figurin' out this whole faerie thing?" Sookie asks her nervously.

"I guess" Jade says as she wrote down her number on a piece of paper and handed it to Sookie.

"Thank you!" she called after Jade as she watched the other woman leave as Jade and Sam chatted about something. She's thinking their conversation was probably about her though she couldn't be too sure.

Bill flashed before her just as the SUV was driving off.

"Bill!" she gasps, holding hand over her racing heart. "You scared me" she adds, "what did Godric want?" she asks, referring to how he'd left in the blink of an eye, citing that Godric wished to see him immediately.

"That is a conversation better had inside the house" Bill says to her.

"Ugh don't even get me started" she adds, "Maryann messed up everythin'! It'll take me a long time to clean all of it!" she groans at the very thought.

"Then let us go to my home" he adds before taking off with her in a blur.

⚜️Dig Down Deep⚜️

"She will be fine?" Godric asks Sam and Jade, referring to how Rina slept soundly, barely moving an inch as she did.

"Yes" Sam replies.

"How fascinating" Jade says as she observed Rina. "She sleeps as if..."

"Dead?" Eric offers, leaning forward and also noting how still Marina slept.

If it weren't for her steady heartbeat and the rise and fall of her chest Godric himself would assume his beloved dead as she made no movement whatsoever.

"Exactly" Jade says, "this must be because she is bonded to you" she adds, chalking this up to another ability that Rina has from being bonded to a vampire.

"So she gets my...abilities?" Godric questions.

"And him hers?" Eric asks in intrigue.

"You definitely won't be shooting fire, light or lightning out of your palms anytime soon–" Sam starts, "–but I imagine one or two of her powers you'll find yourself possessing" she adds.

"Like?" Godric questions.

"I guess we'll see" Sam and Jade say with casual shrugs as they share a look at this.
