It was the next day. Cathy opened the back door/secret door from her wardrobe, she saw the 2 already awake and they were just talking. "Good morning you two!"she smiled, as the 2 greeted, "How was your 1st night here?"she asked as Katelyn gave her opinion 1st "Well, not bad! I'm used to sleep anywhere to be honest. But, the air's kind of warmer than back down there at home... But, I slept quite okay"then it was Lucky's "Well, I didnt sleep well. It was my 1st time sleeping as a human and like what Katelyn said, it's warmer here since here is air and down there is water. Which is colder that air. So, I tossed myself around the bed for hours until dawn"as Cathy replied, "Oh... Well, go and sleep Lucky. Go gather some rest and wake up when you're well rested. Also here, eat these before you sleep. You don't wanna starve while sleeping"as he went in his room again. Then after that, Katelyn squealed "Eeee!! Girl time!!! Come 'er! Lets talk!"she said as she dragged Cathy outside her room and to the balcony.
(Conversation):
Katelyn: Since I thought of this, I wanted to ask you a question! How did you meet my brother Lucky?!
Cathy: Oh umm... I saw him at the shore, I was just gazing at the beautiful sea and sunset. Then, I saw your parents were shot by my guard and... When I saw his face, he looked devastated. Sorry to make you sad though...
Katelyn: Yeah.... But! No bad vibes in this convo! Hehe! Okay, your turn to ask!
Cathy: Okay then, so umm... You kinda blushed when you told me the story that you defended us from your brother. So, what's the reason behind your blushing?
Katelyn: Ahhah! What?! I did not blush! Pfft!
Cathy: Come on! I saw your cheeks go fire truck red, you can't fool me Katelyn
Katelyn: But I! Fine... It's unfair of me to not answer your question, since you answered my question, I'll do it! Well, the reason behind it is... I actually have a... Fffff....
Cathy: You can do it, I wont judge you. Promise!
Katelyn: Alright... The truth is, I have a crush on King Philip, your brother...
Cathy: Wait... How did you meet my brother? Also, while walking I saw your reaction amazed like you've never seen our world?
Katelyn: Okay... I've just reacted that way, because if I havent my parents would know that I went to the surface without their permission. I actually wanted to see what's behind our sky, and when I popped my head out of the water. Your brother was having a stroll there. Your brother was 11 at that time amd I was 7, my brother saw me. Ofcourse I hid behind the rock immidiately. But he cooed me with his soothing voice, so I went near him. I was like Lucky at that time, I would visit your brother everyday. My brother whose 10 at that time, never dared to go to the surface, but did dream to discover it. But, when Philip turned 15, he said goodbye to me. He said that he was told to be the new King of Crystaux, when I was 11 I actually went lonely and I missed talking to him. I never talked about him to my family, because I thought noone would understand... But now, Lucky understand me, and I understand him too! But only I experienced this 1st... When Philip was 14, he told me that he had a crush on me. So I told him that I too have a crush on him. But, we never went to the next level, we stayed crushes ever since he was 15 and I was 11. But now, I dont know if he likes me anymore. But, I do saw his face when Paul announced we humans and mermaids can never talk again...
Cathy: How did he react?
Katelyn: Devastated... I can feel that he doesnt like it to be that way
Cathy: I've never knew that you and my brother has gone through a lot! I... I'm sorry you guys never took your friendship/relationship anywhere... Only crushes, hey... Maybe you guys can talk tomorrow! I know he's free, he just told me when I was about to enter the underground village.
Katelyn: Really?! Thanks Cathy! Your the best! No wonder Lucky likes you, cause your amazing!

As the girls laughed and prepared lunch.
