Sky's p.o.v

I slowly walk over to the teacher, she smiles kindly to me and talks to the class. "Ok everyone, please welcome our new class mate Sky Skylen to the school!" Everyone says "Hi" to me, I just wave back. "Sky, you can sit next to Ross over there." She points to a boy and I instantly recognise him, he's one of the kids from the lab, the squirrel hybrid to be exact. I nod a little and sit next to him.

He smiles. "Hey, it's nice to finally be able to talk to you properly!" He says as I get stuff out my bag. "Yeah, do the others come here?" He nods happily. "Wanna meet them properly at lunch?" I smile. "Why not? I bet they're great!" "They are, you'll fit right in!" I smile even more and we listen to the teacher.

-Time skip to lunch-

I follow Ross into the lunch room as he was in both my lessons. He leads me to a table with faces I know all too well...and two other faces...the bacca and that Mitch guy.  A part of me starts to regret coming now. Ross drags me over to the table and sits me in between him and Ty. "...Hi guys" I say quietly, they all smile but Mitch and the bacca. "What's specks doing here Ross?" The bacca asks in an annoyed tone, I flinched at him calling me 'specks' "Chill Jerome, he's nice. Trust the squirrel in front of you."

"No he's not, he beat me up in the hall before school!" Mitch says angrily. I look surprised. "I never did that! You-" "Yes you did specks!" I flinch at the name. Jess speaks up. "Mitch, I highly doubt Sky would do that, he's not the aggressive type" I smile a thanks to her. "Why are you sticking up for specks?! He's not like us." I flinch again at Jerome. "Yes he is!" I look at Mitch slightly confused then I notice an ancient language faintly scarred into his arm. I easily read it out loud. "...Soul Keeper." 

Mitch looks at me surprised. "H-How did you know?" I point at his arm. "I can read it, you're part of a ancient family of Soul Keepers...or at least, that's what it says on your arm..." Jerome looks at me suspiciously. "How were you able to read that language?" I shrug. "I just know it..."

Mitch speaks up. "Do you know Ross and thats past?" I nod. "Where are they from then?" Jerome asks. "Their mothers obviously, but they were kidnapped at birth and experimented on in a secret underground lab. They got turned into hybrids thanks to it. They were also forced to fight each other so the scientists could test their strength and stuff." 

Mitch looks at me with a smirk. "What hybrids are they?" "Jess is a Neko hybrid, Ty is a Enderdragon hybrid, Red is a Wither hybrid, Ross is a squirrel hybrid and Ian is a wolf hybrid..." Mitch now looks surprised. "How do you know?" I look down at the table. "I was the first one to be kidnapped and experimented on."

Jerome's and Mitch's eyes widen in horror. "Please don't kill me! I didn't mean to beat you up in the hallway!" I roll my eyes. "I won't kill you, I'm not like him." They look at me surprised. "Seriously?" They say at the same time, and I nod.
