Fueled Hatred
Requested by AlexisKaplan!!!
Kirstin was thirteen when her father went to jail once more. This irritated her to no end because he killed people for a living.
Who does that?
Pretty much, she hated her father. Eh e she could see him, he gave her everything he could get her. Unfortunately, everything he got her was 'out' and all the new stuff was 'in'. He apologized all the time for doing so, but she didn't listen. He could do a better job as a father, but at least he cared for her.
She didn't see it.
She hated her mom even more because she was the one who suggested a divorce between her and her father. Her mom told her multiple times that she knew what she was doing, but she didn't believe it. She just wanted her parents to be together so she could get what she wants.
Is that too much to ask for?
She hated her life because of the way it is right now.
She hated her life because her parents are ruining it.
She hated her life because her dad killed people for a living.
And she hated her mom the most for making her father leave. They could be the perfect family, but Anjelica ruined that. They will never be a family again and it's all her fault. She hated her mother with a burning passion. Her hatred for her grew everyday and she made sure her mom knew how she felt.
She would call her mean names, sneak out daily, disobey her rules, anything you could think of. They get into fights in the daily and Anjelica only got psychical once. She slapped Kirstin and regretted it immediately. She apologized endlessly, which caused Kirstin to laugh.
"Dumb old woman! You think that using psychical force will work in arguments?! Ha, try again!"
She has said worse things before, so it didn't hurt that bad. She just used her words to hurt people because she knew that's what brought people down.
At age thirteen, Kirstin Taylor Maldonado knew how to use manipulation and words to hurt people.
~~~
"Kirstin, want to go to the-"
"No. I've got better places to go, better people to see."
Her friend frowned, walking away from her sadly. Kirstin smirked, crossing her arms as she waiter for her mom. She could see her dad today and she cannot be anymore excited!
"Kirstin Maldonado, you have detention!"
Kirstin rolled her eyes, looking at her teacher up and down. She smirked, crossing her arms as she did so.
"I have somewhere to go, Mrs. Robinson. I don't want to be anywhere near you."
"You're lucky you're not an Omega because you would've been sent up to the office and be whipped five times. I wonder why they don't do that to Betas."
"Because Betas are actually smart enough to know the difference between right and wrong. Omegas are too stupid to realize that."
At that moment, Anjelica pulled up. Kirstin smirked, walking over to the car and ran when Mrs. Robinson started to follow her. She hopped in the car, buckling her seatbelt quickly.
"DRIVE, DRIVE, DRIVE!"
"Kirstin, why is Mrs. Robin-"
"GO, YOU WORTHLESS HUMAN! NOW!"
Anjelica obeyed, looking back to see Mrs. Robinson stop to breath. She shook her head, glaring at her daughter.
"Why was she running after you, Kirstin Taylor?"
The Beta smirked, checking her finger nails as she looked back at her mom. Her glare was not scaring one bit as she smirked some more.
"I had detention."
Anjelica widened her eyes, stopping her car as she slapped Kirstin's hand. She shook her head, tapping her fingers on the steering wheel.
"Why would you ever do that?! You know you aren't supposed to ditch detention!"
"I know that! I'm not dumb, unlike you."
"You better not speak to me like that, young lady. You know better than tha-"
"You're an Omega, I'm a Beta. I could talk to however I want. I could punish you right for speaking to me like that."
Anjelica shook her head, ready to slap her daughter against the face. She began to drive again, staring at the road while Kirstin played with her nails.
"You are grounded for two weeks. In those two weeks, you will attend detention to make up your hours. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yeah, whatever. Won't affect me in anyway."
"It would when you realize that your father is only staying in this jail for only two weeks and moving to prison once those weeks are up ."
Kirstin dropped her jaw, glaring at her mom while tears rolled down her cheeks. She screamed, hitting the window while doing so.
"THAT'S NOT FAIR! THAT'S MY DAD! YOU CANNOT STOP ME FROM SEEING HIM!"
"Yes I could. Seeing your father is a privilege, not present. I get to choose what you get to do."
"THAT'S UNFAIR!"
"Well, you should have thought about that before ditching detention. You have two weeks' worth of detention. The school called me about it. This is your punishment."
"That's-"
"Before you say unfair, think about what Omegas go through. Their punishments are far worse than a simple grounding and a few detentions. They get whipped until their backs bleed and punishments that are mentally scarring. That is unfair."
Kirstin huffed, tears rolling down her cheeks as she flipped off her mom. She looked out the window, watching all the trees roll by. She thought about her mom being an Omega and all the punishments she had to go through. They aren't even that bad!
Maybe if they actually listened, they won't face 'mentally scarring' punishments.
At that moment, Kirstin hated Omegas with a passion.
~~~
"Prisoner Maldonado."
Kirstin smiled, running over to her dad. Mr. Maldonado smiled, picking up his small daughter so he could hug her.
"I missed you, Daddy. So much."
"I missed you, Angel."
Anjelica smiled at the interaction, sitting down to watch them talk. Kirstin refused to look at her, happy to see her father.
"How much longer are you going to be in here?"
"Two weeks. I'll be leaving to go to prison. I'll have a shorter sentence."
"How much shorter?"
"Two to five years."
Kirstin nodded, not wanting her dad to leave her. She hugged him once more, crying a bit as he ran a hand through her hair.
"Daddy, please stay! I need you!"
"Kirst, I know. I need to stay here though because I committed a terrible crime. I have to pay back for what I did."
Kirstin pushed him a bit, glaring at him he beat she could through her tears. He out a hand on her cheek, jumping when she didn't do anything.
"DON'T TOUCH ME, YOU CRIMINAL! I HATE YOU!"
Families looked at her, widening their eyes as they saw her cry. A police officer walked over to her in hopes to calm her down, but she wasn't taking it.
"YOU RUINED MY LIFE! YOU RUINED YOUR LIFE! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO KILL PEOPLE, WHY?! YOU'RE WORTHLESS! I HATE YOU!"
"Kirstin Taylor, that is enough," Anjelica hissed, pulling back her daughter. She shook her head, locking was with her ex-husband. "I'm so sorry, Henry. I don't know why she is like this."
"It's okay," he murmured, looking at the time. "I still have two minutes with her. Could she stay?"
"She's grounded. She has two weeks' worth of detention to make up."
"Mom!"
Kirstin stepped on her mom's foot, causing her dad to shake his head. He walked away, glaring at his daughter.
"In that case, make sure you guys visit when I am in prison. Hopefully Kirstin won't be grounded."
Kirstin screamed, being dragged out by her mom. She pushed her, glaring at her with all her might.
"I HATE YOU!"
"Tell me something I don't know."
Kirstin kicked the curb, glaring at the police station with tears in her eyes. She followed her mom, realizing one thing.
She might hate Omegas, but she would never hate them as much as she hates her mom.
