But wow, he's 75. He's still going strong. I just thank God every day that he's still alive, he's still touring and he's still Paul.

Don't you remember cartoon Paul?

He was a sweetheart but literally the Davy Jones of the Beatles. I mean, Anna episode anyone? He was so lovey-dovey, I think I was lucky not to get diabetes. But he was the most decently drawn cartoon version of the guys, even with those on point eyebrows . . . which are much thinner than mine. Ah, problems.

Sassy Paulie is upset that Hungry Georgie ate most of his cake. 

He's cool with it now, took John's glasses as retaliation.

I dunno what he's doing here, but I want to draw it only so I can mess with people. He looks like he's guarding his lovely bass from the world.

Imagine it, 50 something years ago, he wasn't a knight, he wasn't the best musician who ever lived, he wasn't getting an amazing award that practically elevated his level so he and JK Rowling are better than just about everyone right now. His birthday's on Father's Day and he's going to be a pirate. They say 75 is big, but man is it huge for Paulie. 

My wonderful Macca, thanks for being you, choosing all the right things (except Heather Mills, sighin') and just rising from sadness. Love him, love him.
