Oooo, this is good.

The Beatles have all sort of good quotes that the either say or write and sing. So believe you me, I had a hard time finding the right one. But I think I did!

As you can see form the top, I picked the Blackbird song as the quote.

If you didn't know the background, Paulie wrote it because of the Civil Rights movement of the '60's. So, it's basically about a black woman trying to move up in the world even though there are stereotypes and racism against her (the broken wings).

I dunno, I just like that the Beatles acknowledged it rather than Lindon B Johnson who was like . . . "Wut? That's a thing?" Or maybe I'm off by a president. 😂

Plus, you can apply it to any person, not just a black person.

Like, even though you have a mental illness, you can still overcome.

Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transexual, non binary? You can still overcome.

I just like that power behind it.

And now I'm rambling because I have an APUSH history exam tomorrow and everything I did this whole year added up to this. I just want a 5 and I don't want to take it. 😢
