Third P.O.V

(Y/N) shot at the movement behind them and heard the •THUNK• of the bullet sinking into the bark of a tree trunk. He knew he missed his shot on purpose. "Heh, You missed, partner." You felt your anger rising because of the ones disturbing your little time of peace.

"Who are you?! How dare you disturb me!" The man smirked. He was wearing a red jacket and jeans. "Shut up... Just empty your pockets, Mister - (L/N)." Your anger rose higher as you know why these people are here. These are the ones who would go out of their way to rob the famous riches thinking they are helpless. "Boy... You just messed with me at the wrong time." You growled at him making him snicker. "Just empty your pockets or that one go night-night." He raised his hand and you knew he has another friend waiting somewhere.

"There's no way in hell. That. I'll. Let You. Even. Touch. Her." You thought that he wouldn't do it but as soon as he lowered his hand. You knew you made the wrong choice as time slows down for you and you heard the loud shot of a sniper rifle from afar. You could see at the corner of your eye as the bullet scratch your cheeks and flew by.

In that instant you lost control of your body to the the rage at hearing the cry of pain from Ashley, meaning that the bullet had gone through her aura just like your special bullets. Your body and eyes glowed bright white as you used your aura to activate your semblance. With your increased perceptions, you could see the criminal reaching for his weapon on his back. Your hand moved with incredible speed unholstering both of your Holy Twelve and aimed one at the criminal's hand and other one at the glint of a scope in the trees. 'I won't miss this time, Bitch!' You yelled in your brain. Simultaneously, you pulled both of the triggers and let the two bullets fly.

In the slowed perception of your senses, you could hear the sound of the bullets meeting flesh and bone as the crash of glass in the distance and screams of pain shook the trees.

You holstered your guns and turn back to Ashley. A bullet wound on the shoulder gashing blood. Kneeling down on your knees, you ripped a piece of your undershirt and pressed it against her shoulder to try and stop the bleeding. She flinched and screams as the pain burns her muscles.

"Aargh!" She screams again as you pulled her other hand. "Hold it tight a second." Your voice cold. Her eyes tearing and you ripped your undershirt in half. "I'm gonna need to get the bullet out of your shoulder." You informed her and she nodded. You pulled her hand and the piece of cloth off her shoulder whilst you got yourself ready. "Ready? Just keep breathing. Here we go."

You pressed her shoulder and dug your finger inside her wound, pushing the bullet out slowly as she screamed wildly. She gripped your coat, tugging it as the bullet was surfacing.

Finally, the bullet came out, falling to the floor and she passed out from the intense pain. Her heart beating fast. You looked at the blood on your hands and wrapped your clean undershirt on top of her shoulder, tying it. You took off your coat, putting it on her before turning around glaring at the crying man squirming on the ground holding his hand with a huge hole in the middle.

You rolled him over to face you with your foot. You put one foot on his chest and put some pressure on it.
You even decided to stomp his bleeding hand harshly as he screamed at the top of his lungs from the extreme pain. "I told you that it was a bad time to fuck with me boy! And now you got a fucking hole in your hand!" He tried to struggle but you just press you foot on his chest harder. "THIS! IS! FOR! THE! BULLET! THAT! YOUR! FRIEND! SHOT! AT! HER! BITCH!" You repeatedly stomp on his bleeding hand again and again, smiling at the pain he is suffering.

A sadistic idea popped into your head. You took out your whip and inserted it in the hole in his hand, tying it around his hand and fastened the other end to your belt. You picked up the passed out Ashley bridal style and started walking while dragging the criminal struggling to get the whip out of his hand. You walk into the forest until you find the body of his criminal partner, dead with a bullet in his eye and shards of glass in his face.

You continued walking while giving the dragged criminal some shock treatment to keep him from passing out.

~Thirty Minutes Later~

You arrived at the Rooster Edge village with the unconscious Ashley in your arms and the groaning criminal dragging along behind you getting sick looks from the villagers.

You walk up to the police station and released the criminal before kicking him through the door of the station startling the officer inside. You told the officer to throw him into jail and started running to the village infirmary to get Ashley properly treated.

After a bit of running to get to the infirmary with the help of the villagers pointing the way. You finally arrived with her and your blood soaked coat, yelling for the doctor. The doctor came out surprised at the look of the bloody ranger and the unconscious purple - haired lady. You put her on the strecther and they rushed her inside the emergency room while you go to the bathroom.

While you were washing the blood from your hands. Ozpin came in with worried expressions looking at your ripped undershirt, bloody coat that you are about to clean and the messy sink that you were using.

You explained about what happened to the both of you and about the criminals to Ozpin while he listened attentively. Ozpin didn't like what he heard about what you did to the criminal, saying that it was too much and you scared the villagers but he also said that the leader of the village was thankful of you neutralizing the apparently murderer.

He also said that he was done discussing the problems here and will be returning to the academy as soon as possible. You were relieved of the news because you somehow found comfort in seeing the cute lil red again.

You finished washing your coat and put it on before going to Ashley's room in the infirmary. Your brain was in turmoil as you blame yourself for what happened to the sleeping lady in front of you. Your heart was torn in two because you won't lie to yourself that you love both of the mentioned girls. Next thing you knew you were smacking your head on the table next to the bed.

~The Next Morning~

You woke up by someone calling your name and lifted your head up from the bedside to see it was Ashley calling for your name and poking your arm.

You let out a great yawn as you greeted her and she smiled. She tried to get up but instantly laid back down because her shoulder just stinged. "So... How you feeling?" She raise a thumbs up with her other hand. You shook your head. "I'm sorry this happened." She shrugged. "It's fine (Y/N). I guess it's just my luck and hey it's my first wound on my first mission, bound to happen soon anyways." She giggle and you laughed.

You stood up and asked. "Say... You mind if we go somewhere again?" She gives you a questioning look and you smiled. "Don't worry... No more bandits this time. Just need to meet some people and kids in town." Her face lit up at the word 'kids'.

She got up and held onto her shoulder and winced. You crouched down. "Come on get on my shoulder. I'll carry you!" She blushed and denied the offer. "Come on! It'll be fun and you should listen to your leader you know?" She pouts as you said it and climb on reluctantly. "Watch your head." She lowered her head and the both of you stepped out.

"Hold on to my coat!" And you started sprinting out the infirmary door not before yelling thanks to the receptionist. Laughing and screaming out in the middle of the groups of villagers until they both arrived at a mansion.

You let Ashley down from you and you knocked on the door. "Hey, you sure this is the place?" You nodded. She was asking the question because she knew what mansion this is. And they both heard a child's voice from inside. "MISS GABBY! UNCLE (Y/N) IS BACK!" Ashley was confused.

'Why does the kids in this orphanage know him and why are they calling him Uncle?' Suddenly the door slams open and Ashley instictively jump away as a crowd of kids came charging out tackling (Y/N) down the stairs, screaming his name.

The kids got off you and they surrounds you, bombarding you with questions. They were asking you to tell them about your adventures and will you come play with them. Ashley saw (Y/N) talking to them while sitting on the ground, smiling. And then you pointed towards Ashley and they're faces lit up.

Ashley's P.O.V

(Y/N) pointed at me and the kid snap to me. "BIG SISTER!" They screamed in unison. Half of the crowd splits, most of them were little girls, they hugged me and I winced because they are hugging my shoulder. "Ow, ow. Girls my shoulder hurts." They let go and made worried expressions.

"Why?" I pointed back to (Y/N) and they glared at him. "What did you do to our sister, Uncle (Y/N)?!" They accusingly asked him and he held in his hands in defense, wide eyed. "I swear to you girls that I didn't do nothing and please stop calling me Uncle... I'm not that old guys!" The girls and boys didn't let up asking us questions about what happened to my shoulder and I lied saying that I had a sparring match with (Y/N) and they let the topic go but dive into the next topic while (Y/N) went to talk with the kids guardian, Gabby.

I was filling them up with what I was doing since the last time I was here until one of the girls asked. "Is Uncle (Y/N) your boyfriend?" She wiggled her eyebrows and I blushed. I shook my head and pulled up my face mask to hide my face. "Oooh! Looks like our big sister likes our Uncle~" They all fangirled and I blushed harder under my mask.

"ALRIGHT KIDS! WHO'S UP FOR SOME ICE CREAM!?" (Y/N) yelled and they all cheered as he took the lead walking towards the park. We walked to the park chattering away and I realized that is the most I've talked in a very loong while.

When we arrived at the park and all twenty kids lined up at the ice cream stall, surprising the owner. (Y/N) smiled at the owner as he gave him a thumbs up and started serving the crowd. I found a space under the tree nearby and sat down watching the kids play around and (Y/N) happily told some of the kids a story while they ate their ice cream and laughing at his funny actions.

We stayed there having fun with the kids until late afternoon where Professor Ozpin appeared standing next to where I was sitting, almost making me jump out of my skin.

"He is quite the remarkable man isn't he, Miss Somemoer?" He asked and I looked over to see (Y/N) laughing, running around with the kids. All of them smiling happily. "Yes... Yea he is." I replied, smiling under my face mask. "What do you think of him?" I looked up at the professor and stood up. "Well... He's a nice guy for a start but not enough to get him killed - maybe... And he is always smiling so that's good and he is pretty gorgeous." He didn't say anything so I kept quiet. "I need your help to keep him that way... Because he can be very - emotionally weak at times." I was confused but nodded anyway.

Five minutes passed and everything was pretty calm with the occasional screams and giggles from the orphans until it was time to go. "Alright kids! Looks like it is time for me to go but before I do! I'll show you one more trick and it will blow your mind!" Now even I am interested. "BUT! I'll need some help from your big sister! Go on call her here." And he does a heroic pose. They look over my way and start pulling me. "Okay... This is the last time I help any of you guys for a while." And they cheered again.

He leaned in close and whispered something that surprised me because I swore I never told him anything about it but I decided to play with it. "Okay kids in the next trick! I will be dissapearing in a bright light. Ooh oh wait! Professor come here! Let's do it together!" Ozpin smiled and came over, tapping his cane methodically. (Y/N) put his hand lightly on my wounded shoulder carefully and Ozpin did the same on my other shoulder.

"Count with me!" He started a countdown with the kids and I braced my semblance. As soon as they said one, a bright light consumed my vision, my breath being suck out of my lungs as I activated my semblance to carry three people.

The scenery change from the vibrant colors of green and brown to the dull metal colors of the bullhead. I fell to the floor making the clanking sound, out of breath.

"Thanks for doing it, Ashley." He said and offered his hand. I grab his hand and he pulled me up. I got up looking into his beautiful (E/C) eyes, locked in the moment until I heard Ozpin cough and we look at him. He chuckled and pointed to his hand as the bullhead took off. My gaze landed on our hands still interlocked. I blushed and pulled my hand away.

~An Hour Later~

Third P.O.V

"Hey Professor?" You called. "Yes, Mister (L/N)?" He replied with a smirk because he knew what the ranger would ask. "Why are we here exactly and why are there two other people in the bullhead. Ozpin was not surprise like Ashley, who was looking around in the bullhead seeing nobody else but the three of them.

"You are very good at noticing them Mister (L/N) and the reason I came to the village is to find you new teammates if that is okay with the two of you. And I am sure you would get along nicely" Ozpin replied, grinning. He nods to the empty space and two people pops out of nowhere.

The first one was a lady dressed in yellow that reach her knees with jet black hair and a green scarf around her neck. She also has see-through specs with a button on the side. Her face red with anger.

The second was a tall guy with green hair and one of his eyeballs was green while the other was normal. He wears a jacket with a septiceye on the back and blue jeans. He was covering his mouth to hold in a laugh.

The first one to speak was the lady or rather yelled. "HOW DARE YOU LEAVE US WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING!!" Ashley with her eyes wide raised her hands in defense even though she don't know them yet. "NOT YOU! YOU (Y/N)!" Ashley lowered her hands and noticed that (Y/N) was gone. She looked around to find him hiding behind Ozpin holding his hat to his face. Ozpin just scooted to side revealing the ranger and (Y/N) got behind Ashley. "You don't see anyone!" He groaned in reply holding the back of Ashley hoodie in his face. "I'm sorry! Please don't yell at me!"

The black haired lady walked over to the cowering ranger and slapped his face. The green haired guy burst out laughing loudly holding his stomach. "HAHAHAHAHAHA! THAT IS WHAT YOU DESERVE YOU STUPID FUK! HAHAHAHA!" While you were getting beat by a very angry lady. Ashley moved away from the commotion and stood beside Ozpin. Ozpin and Ashley just watched as the very lively reunion unfolds.

A few minutes passed as (Y/N) is on the ground after getting a good few rounds of applause right to the face by the lady and the green haired man laying on the ground with tears on the edge of his eyes.

The lady then straightens her clothes and bows towards Ashley. "My name is Alicia Frostydia from the Frostydian Advanced Weapons Company. Nice to meet you." Ashley smiled and nodded to her. "And I'm Sean Jack Mclaughin. (Oh god his last name is so bad. WHY ME!?) HELLO!" Ashley smiled again to the both of them.

"My name is Ashley Marie Somemoer" and she was greeted with a grin from the black haired lady. "Or the Infamous Purple Shadow." Ashley stood there shocked that Alicia know who she is. "Jeez! Alice, stop intimidating the poor lady!" Jack said to his friend. "Shut it, Jack! I want to now everything about her now! So SPILL IT YOU!" She retorted and pointing her finger to Ashley.

Ashley slowly backs away from her until (Y/N) suddenly slides in between them both with his back at Ashley. "Hey-hey! No More Yelling! Especially at her!" You yelled back to Alicia which stuns her. Ozpin came to them tapping his cane on the metal floor. "Now-now. No need to be hostile to each other and Miss Somemoer, may I have a word with you?" He said to them all and called out Ashley.

Ashley followed Ozpin into an empty room until he turns and faced her. "Mis -, no I need to be a bit more serious on this topic so, Ashley..." He said and called her by her first name. "I need your help to keep (Y/N) floating." She tilted her head a bit and Ozpin continued. "I need you to help his friends to keep (Y/N) from breaking his mental limits..." For Ashley she thought this is some sort of warning to not get him mad or something. "Why and what do you mean Professor?" She can see that this is not a simple matter through the professor face expressions. "Let's just say that we will be in dire situations if the boat sinks for him because I have met with his father once and I have seen it first hand. That is the reason why I have called his friends here." Ashley nodded again in understanding. They step out of the cockpit and saw (Y/N) on the ground with new sets of hand marks on his face and Jack still laughing.

"Well it looks like you three are done with the reunion and at the perfect timing as we are about to land." Ozpin said as he stood in front of the doors and the four youngsters look out the window and guess having Jack plastering his face to window in awe.

(Y/N) caught Jack in a strong grip as the doors to the bullhead opens and Alicia took (Y/N)'s Divine Lightning and tying it around Jack's waist. (Y/N) let go of the green hair boy and Jack instantly attempted to run off but was pulled back by (Y/N) and his whip. "But dad... I wanna yexplorew the big castle." Jack whine but (Y/N) shook his head. Alicia replied with smack on the head. "No! Bad Jackieboy! We need to find out where we are sleeping first and we can explore in the morning besides it getting late." Alicia points to the sky that the stars are starting to shine.

(Y/N) led the way to the dorms but got lost in the process. "Do you even know de wey?" Jack said in a weird accent and Ashley took over because the ranger forgot de wey.

As they got to the room and got inside. Each of them found a uniform that somehow fits them perfectly on the beds. "This is creepy because we haven't given them our mesurements yet." Alicia was the first to speak. "Alright guys! I'm beat so let's get some sleep first and we'll sort out our stuff in the morning. Sound good?" And Jack starts jumping on the bed. "NO!"
