Slifer: If you try to take control of another, you will be forced back here

While the agreement was being discussed, their were two monster servants guarding the entrance to Ra's Temple. Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl are the guards on duty for the afternoon shift, they would return to their homes when Magician's Valkyria and Sorcerer of Dark Magic came for the night shift

Obelisk: Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl!

Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl came in and bowed as order by Obelisk

Dark Magician: What can I do for you Lord Obelisk?

Obelisk: I need you to get the God of Darkness here, I have a task for him

Dark Magician Girl stands up and goes back to her guard post until Dark Magician returns. Five minutes later Dark Magician returns with the God of Darkness, Number 96: Dark Mist

Dark Mist: You called for me Obelisk?

Obelisk: Yes, you will be looking after you earthly counterpart's powers while he's in the living world

Dark Mist: As you wish mighty God of Earth

Slifer: Now I'm going take your powers Number 96, are you ready?

Number 96: Yes, I'm ready

Slifer takes his front right claw and digs it into Number 96's chest, he grits his teeth against the pain. Slifer then removes he claw for Number 96's chest with a small dark orb that looked like black electricity

Slifer: Here are your powers Number 96

Number 96: Will I ever get my powers back?

Ra: Your power will return to you when you're revived by the dragon Shenron

Slifer: Dark Mist please keep this safe while your earthly counterpart is away (said while giving the dark orb to Dark Mist)

Dark Mist: You can count on me Slifer!

Dark Magician Girl: Are you ready for your trip to the living world?

Number 96: Yes, please take me to Astral
