~Jealous Takeover~
Dylan's perspective
I saw that kid. Cody?
I wonder what happened after I left.
Did they kiss?
Maybe they just talked.
Why am I thinking all this?
Am I liking her more?
No, no, no... not at all, right?
Sky opened the door and walked in.
"Hey Dylan, sorry about back there. I haven't seen my old pal for four years. I knew he'd be he-"
"You lied to me," I blurted.
"What?"
"He doesn't look like you at all,"
"Oh, that. Um, I was really tired the other day, I'm sorry..."
I could feel anger rushing up my throat.
"No, you weren't. Quit lying to me. I don't like liars," I said, gritting my teeth.
"Dylan? I'm-"
"Sometimes I'm okay with people lying, but you're my friend. Friends don't lie to each other, right?" My eyes got teary.
"F-friend?"
"Do you not consider me as a friend?" I could feel a tear slip.
"Y-yes! Y-y-you just surprised me, right there!"
"How rude." I was just letting words fly.
I ran out of the trailer into a boy.
Skys perspective, now. I thought we didn't really get a lot of her...
I didn't know Dylan thought all this.
I mean, of course we're friends!
He started crying! Crying I tell you!
It made my heart shatter! I couldn't bare seeing him cry.
Sure, I wanted to give him a hug and then I heard, "How rude," And he walked out on me.
Without giving me a chance to talk, he calls me rude and walks out on me. How unnecessarily rude.
I followed him. You know that? I followed him.
Straight out the trailer and facing a boy.
I've never met this boy. He had brown hair, green eyes and a...
Jacket??? How weird...
It's, like, 90 degrees and he's wearing a jacket?
He smiled when he saw me.
"Hello,"
Yep, I ignored him all right.
"Dylan, please! I'm sorry, all right! Give me a chance to talk!" I yelled after him as he walked away.
"Eh?" The boy said.
"I'm sorry, there's been a misunderstanding. You see, my friend and I got into a fight, and we need to talk. I'll be right with you-"
"YOU DONT NEED TO TELL EVERYONE!" Dylan screamed.
"Uh, hold on," I said, holding a finger up, trying to smile.
"Yeah, no problem.."
I stormed after Dylan.
Once I caught up, I grabbed him by the collar of his tank top and made him face me.
"Now look here, Buddy, you aren't gonna yell at me, not let me talk, walk out on me, and scream at me. Give me a chance to speak, and everything will go back to normal. Okay?" I looked him in the eye.
"Put me down!" He yelled.
I pulled him closer.
"I said, okay?" I gritted through my teeth.
"Y-yes, whatever," He looked away.
"I was saying hello to my friend. I haven't seen him forever, and the only reason I lied was because I hate when people ask questions about him. Alright?"
"He hugged you,"
"I sense a hint of jealously?" I smirked.
"W-what?! No!!!" He said.
"Then quit stating the obvious,"
I set him down and hugged him.
"Happy now?" I let go.
Dylan's perspective! Don't you just luv changing perspectives? :P
She hugged me.
She hugged me.
Wow.
I was blushing like crazy.
She didn't like me, right?
As she pulled away, I stood there.
Like a dope.
Blushing like crazy.
And dancing around in my head.
Why was I dancing? Well, I just got hugged by Sky. The girl, I was crushing on, remember? I mean, I'm not here for a popularity boost! It's just that... I've never gotten hugged by any of my crushes.
I just got hugged! I just got hugged!!! By my crush! By my freaking crush!
Of course, I didn't want her to hear me.
Or see me dancing around.
I just... stuttered?
Stuttered, yeah.
Sky walked away toward the boy I ran into.
"Sorry, um, hi!" She said, smiling.
Crap.
"Howdy! How ya doin'?" The boy had a country-like accent.
"I'm doing pretty fine! How about you?" Now Sky was bringing on the accent.
Why did this boy just walk over to her?
Out of the blue?
Not even saying hi to me?
Oh, I got to quit acting like a child.
"Fine, as well, partner! Wanna ride?" He asked.
There's no way he had a bike. There were none in sight except for the ones being rode and ours.
"Ride what?" Sky looked around.
"My horse of course, ya know howda? It's pretty easy. If ya don't, you can ride on the back!"
Dammit, I was getting it...
"Um..." Sky scratched her chin.
"Come on, it's fun! Whatcha name? I never got it,"
"My name is Sky! I guess it wouldn't hurt," Sky smiled as the boy whistled.
It's coming...
"The name's Café." Suddenly, a horse ran up to him and Sky.
A coffee colored horse with a spot around it's eye.
"Good boy, Café!" Chaki said.
He got on, Sky following him.
She put her arms around his waist.
"It won't hurt, and he ain't gon' go fast, right Café?"
The horse whinnied.
"Good," Café smiled back at Sky.
"Ready?"
She nodded.
And it hit it me.
Right then.
The Jealous Takeover.
I ran inside, got it bed, and fell asleep.
The only way to cure this...
Dudes, this was literally my longest chapter.
The next one's short, but actually has a lot of romance, and I'm really excited to see if you like it :)
Tho, I only have 1 reader...
