Chapter 9

In the morning Sebastian woke me up and I began to get ready for the day.

Sebastian wanted me to dress nice but I told him that i'll dress in my normal attire.

I walked down the stairs to see Ciel waiting for me by the front door.

"Did you have a nice vacation?" he asked.

"No." I answered simply before following him out.

"Sebastian told me about the melt down you had. I'll let it go just this once." Ciel said and I nodded.

I followed him into the carriage and we sat in silence.

"Are we waiting for Soma?" I asked and he nodded with a sigh.

Then an indian man ran into the carriage and landed on me.

"Ciel! I thought you left without me!" he said in his thick accent.

"Please remove yourself from my lap." I said with slight irritation lacing my voice.

"Oh I apologize english woman! Wait. You a bit tanner than the other women I've seen." He responded as he sat himself next to Ciel.

"I grew up in a village and would travel to other lands for missions if needed. Most of those missions involved me going into the desert area." I responded before looking out the window and Sebastian started to move the carriage.

After about an hour of Soma talking Ciel's ear off we finally arrived to a plaza of some sort.

Sebastian separated from us and went towards the kitchen area to prepare.

I stayed close to Ciel and I noticed the other servants were there as well.

After a while of wandering around the competition was about to begin. They announced the judges and Ciel shuddered when one of them introduced themself.

Then music began to play.

"She's here!" Ciel said in shock as he turned around.

People began to salute and sing while I stood there with my arms crossed after moving away from Ciel.

The queen with her butler walked past me and the queen noticed that I wasn't saluting and pointed it out to her butler who looked my way and glared.

I stood unfazed by this action.

After the queen went to her spot they continued with the competition.

The butler walked towards me and grabbed me by my arm and dragged me over to the queen and threw me to her feet.

"Bow and ask for forgiveness." He growled.

"I've done nothing wrong." I said as I stood up.

The butler pulled out his sword and pointed it at me and people behind me began to fall silent after seeing what's going on.

"You didn't show your respect for the queen! Bow and beg for forgiveness!" He shouted.

"I don't have a queen." I growled back.

"You owe her your loyalty as does everyone does. They do so with pride yet you refuse?" He said.

"I owe her nothing. I follow who I wish to follow. And it's not her. I don't follow someone who reeks of death." I growled the last part.

The air was silent and filled with tension.

"Bow down." He growled.

"Never. I'm not afraid of a fairy with a toothpick he calls a sword." I growled and it pissed him off more.

The silence was cut off when the judges announced that the food was ready and that snapped everyone back into reality.

I turned and walked away from the queen and her butler and mixed into the crowd. I then teleported to the shadows and stayed there.

After the judges tested the food they opened it to the public so that they could decide the winner.

I sensed something was wrong when an indian woman had a strange aura around her.

She laughed and lashed out and wouldn't hold her tongue. I watched as more and more people began to act similar to her.

They surrounded Ciel and I teleported to his side and twitched my finger sending the wind to push them away.

"Her majesty!" Ciel suddenly said before running to her side and I followed after him.

"So the girl does follow orders." The butler said and I looked over at him.

"I only need to listen to him. But if he makes a decision I don't like, I won't follow it." I replied as I sent wind to push the people away again.

"Mia. Knock them out. Sebastian feed them the curry buns!" Ciel ordered and I quickly knocked everyone out after Sebastian fed them the curry buns.

The scotland yard came and arrested the chef who used a drug in his curry. I then glared at the butler as he walked towards Ciel.

"Earl, I recommend you teach your dog some respect. It needs to learn its place." the butler said glaring at me.

I growled as my nails started to grow long along with my teeth.

"Mia. Calm down." Ciel ordered and my nails and teeth went back to normal but I was still growling," Now what did she do to catch your attention Ashe?"

"She didn't show her respect to the queen." he answered.

"Mia?" Ciel said turning to me.

"I give respect for those who earned it. What has she done for me? Nothing. I have no queen and I don't owe her my respect." I said looking Ashe in the eye," Besides a corpse doesn't need respect because she won't be alive much longer."

Ciel's eye widened as did Ashe's.

I looked at Ciel," I'll meet you back at the manor."

I turned around and walked away from everyone.

I walked past the other servants who were saying goodbye to a man.

"Mia! Say bye to Agni!" Finny said with a smile.

I walked past Agni and said my goodbyes before continuing on my way.

"Wait! Mia!" Bardroy shouted but I teleported away.

I slowly walked towards my room when I felt dizzy.

"Gaara!"

"Kia!"

I felt to my knees as my hands latched to my head in pain.

'I'll help you this time to suppress the pain until it's time.' a deep echoey feminine voice said.

The pain then slowly went away and I was left panting.

"Why now. I was fine for the past ten years!" I shouted to no one in particular.

I teleported outside and let the cool air calm me down.

I then felt something with the barrier and next thing I knew I was falling forward and blacked out.

After some time I slowly started to be conscious but I kept my eyes closed.

"She seems to be fighting back my powers. I can't seem to wash her memories away about working with Phantomhive." a deep voice said.

"Wake her up." a child said.

I then felt something being injected into my arm and I slowly opened my eyes.

I seen a kid around Ciel's age. He had blonde hair and blue eyes.

I looked towards my right to see a man similar to Sebastian. I growled in recognition.

"It's good to finally have you back Maria!" The child said as he walked towards me to hug me.

"Get your disgusting hands off me." I growled and the boy frowned.

"Is that any way to treat your master?" the boy asked.

"I have no master." I answered.

As I talked with them I slowly began to place a seal on my mind.

'You will not erase what I have.' I thought before I secretly created a small clone.

My clone then teleported away.

I smirked as I looked them in the eye.

"You won't be able to hold me for long." I said.

"I have five demons who follow my orders. You won't get far." the boy said walking towards the door.

"We'll see." I said before looking at the butler.

"Let's try again. What is your name?" he asked.

"I don't have to answer your questions." I growled.

"It seems you won't cooperate with me. It's fine you'll be here for the rest of your life." he said as he walked over to me and I seen his canines grow.

I began to thrash against the restraints to get away. He lift his hand to hold my face

I turned my head away but he grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him.

"Now where to place the seal. Maybe your arm?" he said.

"Can you place the seal on my arm?"

"Maybe your back?" he said.

"I need to place seals on you sinai can protect you."

"How about your neck?" he said and got closer to my neck.

Energy began to build up inside of me.

"I knew you were still alive Mia. I hope you are doing well."

Energy shot from my body and pushed the butler away from me.

I broke off the restraints and I used the wind to push the door down.

"Are you taking care of yourself?"

I ran down the hall and continued to make turns.

"Are you in pain?"

I then spotted a window and jumped through it. I landed on the ground and looked up to see four servants in front of me.

"Please return peacefully." the woman said.

"Did you start to see through my eyes?"

Everything was still.

No one moved.

"I will not stay here." I said as my nails grew along with my teeth.

Energy flew to my eyes and I was able to predict their every move.

"Fight."

The triplets charged at me and I stood with my eyes closed.

"Fight!"

I slammed my hands on the ground and the ground beneath me shot up and launched me into the air. I created clones and they began to fight the servants.

I landed near one of the triplets and grabbed him by the back of his collar and threw him towards his brother knocking them both down.

The girl pulled out a machine gun and I summoned a sword for my clothes and we blocked the bullets.

I threw a knife at her and it caused her to jump away from the gun.

I then sent energy to my hand as I jumped and punched the gun, destroying it.

I turned and did quick hand signs and blew fire. The grass went up in flames and they tried to quickly put it out.

Gold knives were thrown at me and I dodged them easily.

Energy built up inside me and my eyes changed to something else that I have no idea what it was.

The energy pushed from my body and everything in its path died.

My eyes then hanged again and I held my hand up and pulled the lady towards me and my hand wrapped around her throat.

I began to squeeze and she was trying to gasp for breathe.

"Stay away or i'll kill her." I growled as my long nails began to cut into her neck.

"You won't." the butler said in a calm voice.

I then summoned a knife and stabbed her in the stomach.

I threw her into the air and used the wind to send her flying high.

The triplets scrambled to try and catch her. I then did more hand signs and filled the area with ash and I snapped my finger causing it to explode and during the distraction I teleported away.

I appeared at the manor and I was irritated.

The sun was going down as I walked inside and changed into a new outfit before walking out into the hall. It was too quiet.

I looked through my clone's eyes to see that Sebastian and Ciel were in a different place.

My clone was still small so she wasn't detected by anyone besides Sebastian.

Sebastian looked at my clone and his eyes went wide.

I sighed and sensed that the other servants were getting ready for bed and I sensed that elizabeth was already asleep.

'She always shows up at the wrong time.' I thought as I looked out at the night sky.

I then felt something go through the barrier.
