Don't Leave
Her white heels clicked against the pavement as the attitude built up inside of her. She was upset and as usual when things didn't go her way, she pouted and made irrational decisions.
Her decision now is to leave.
"Tay what the hell, really?" Natalie approached her.
She looked straight ahead, shaking her head.
"Nat look I'm going home"
"Are you serious? The man didn't even say anything to you" Natalie reasoned.
"He doesn't have to, his presence upsets me and I can't sit and be on a date with him. Why didn't you tell me it was him?"
"Tay, think for a minute. How could I possibly tell you that Keith's friend is your new neighbor. It is just a coincidence"
"Coincidence my ass" she commented.
"Are you kidding me?" Natalie scoffed.
"Are you saying I set you up?" She added.
"Maybe" Tayler looked at her friend.
"Be for real. We've been friends for years. I know you, I know your attitude so why the fuck would I do that? That's like setting up a fucking bomb to go off and just stand there in the same room with it!"
She continued to tap her foot and scowl, something she usually did when she was aggravated. She hated being backed into a corner and right now she felt like she was. But in her heart, she knew Nat wouldn't do that to her but she was so agitated she couldn't think straight.
This man had her mind going and she didn't even know his name till just 5 minutes ago.
"Tay look at me, we're friends I wouldn't set you up like that. You have to stop being like that and calm down and think straight for once"
As annoying as Tayler could be, Natalie knew her friend very well. She could be a child at times and throw tantrums when she didn't get her way just like now but she knew where that was coming from. She knew her attitude was lethal and anything could set it off so she was used to talking her down off the ledge.
Being friends for so long, she knew how Tayler grew up. She had no control over her life. Her mom giving her up at a young age and the man she endearingly called Big Daddy raised her and basically took over her life. He planned everything for her, he chose her friends, what she wore, her schools, her activities, he made her do everything he wanted.
It was that fear of having no control of her life again that made her act out. Being backed into that corner, it scared her.
"Natalie, I hear you and I'm sorry but I cannot stay here. That guy is a jerk"
"Well I don't know where you're going sweetheart cause I drove"
"Well give me the keys" she snapped her neck towards Natalie.
"Yeah you really think I'm going to let you take my car"
"Then I'll catch an Uber home" she began to take her phone out her purse.
"Are you serious Tay?" Natalie quirked a brow.
"Dead" she simply replied.
She quickly thumbed through the many apps on her phone trying to find the Uber app but quickly realized that she deleted it because she had no use for it anymore as she had a car.
"Damn! I know I shouldn't have let you drive" Tayler mumbled.
She started to download the app on her phone as Natalie sat there trying to convince her to stay.
INSIDE THE RESTAURANT
The two men stayed behind as Natalie rushed to check on her friend. Michael held a smirk on his face as this is the first time he made a woman retreat. As much as his intentions were never to hurt anyone, to him he couldn't comprehend the situation so he thought her behavior was funny. He couldn't understand why his new neighbor was so bothered by his presence when they only met this morning and had a short conversation.
Yes, they had a spat but nothing too serious to where she had to threatened to leave and ruin the evening for everyone. He thought her behavior was childish and bratty, she had to be selfish to leave her friend hanging like that.
"Mike really man?" Keith asked.
"What? She started with me" He pointed out.
"That's a female! You're acting like a kid" Keith insulted.
"I'm a grown ass man" Michael stated.
"Well act like it. Man I really like Natalie bruh and this shit is getting in the way of us getting to know each other properly"
"Man don't put that shit on me, she started it as soon as I walked in" Michael started.
"You" He mimicked her voice.
"That chick is on one. She's too dramatic man" he put his hands in his pockets.
"Bruh, please just go out there and talk to the girl. I really like Natalie man and I really want this to go smooth tonight"
"And what the hell does that have to do with me" Michael gestured using his hands.
"Man you know girls, they stick together they are tight as fuck. You know it's something with the biological clocks and uteruses syncing together and shit"
"Bruh what the hell are you talking about?" Michael stifled a laugh.
"Man look it's some shit I learned in science class. Basically women are going to stick together and if one go, they all go. Why the hell you think they go to the bathroom at the same time in the club or if you try to talk to one friend the ugly one always jumps in talking about 'nah she good'" Keith rambled.
"It's a scientific fact, women stick together. We have bros before hoes and they have chicks before dicks"
Michael chuckled at his friend's silliness. All this was amusing to him, but he didn't know that his friend really meant everything he was saying. He didn't want Natalie to go and he knew the only person to save the day would be Michael.
"Man, just go please. I guarantee Natalie is going to come in here and say she's leaving because of her friend"
And just like clockwork, Natalie strutted in towards Keith with a look of disappointment. Keith gave Michael a knowingly look before turning his attention back to Natalie.
"Hey, look Michael I apologize for my friend she can be a bit..Um-unorthodox. I'm sorry baby but I can't stay, I have to take her back home since I drove her" She turned her attention back to Keith.
"Biological clocks" Keith mouthed to Michael.
"I'm really sorry" she pouted.
Keith took her in his arms, reassuring her everything is fine. She smiled up at him and requested a kiss in which he obliged by planting a sweet kiss on her lips. They smiled at each other and leaned in so their foreheads could touch as they shared an intimate moment. They begin to whisper sweet nothings and share a couple of laughs in between kisses.
Michael looked at his friend and his new lady. He had never seen Keith like this before. Keith like Michael was a ladies man but due to him starting his career in acting and model, he could never hold down a serious relationship and was not looking for one but he changed his mind when he met Natalie. Michael begin to feel guilty as he felt like he was standing in the way of his friend's happiness and truly wanted to do him a solid but he hated snotty ass females and Tayler, she exuded exactly what he hated.
Oh Tayler was man's best friend. Thick smooth legs and a plump round ass that sat right and was complimented by everything she wore. Lucious lips, and a smile that could light up a room, though she rarely smiled. She dressed her ass off as Michael could tell by the lovely pink and orange romper that complimented the red undertones of her skin. The plunging neckline even gave him a sneak peek of her round breast.
As soon as he walked in she captured his attention, his eyes went straight to her unknowingly. He drank every feature of her in and compared it to what he saw this morning. He liked how she looked this morning but when she stepped out, she was a beauty and he loved every minute of it.
Going against his better judgement, he decided to go outside and speak to her. A part of him was doing it for Keith but a small part was going out there just to be close to and share a moment with his crazy new neighbor.
OUTSIDE
"$59 for a fucking ride, they can suck my whole ass through a straw" she complained.
"Wow, who knew you had such a colorful language" Michael laughed.
"Tsk, tsk. You have such a mouth on you"
She stood there stunned as Michael was the last face she expected to see. She looked him up and down, trying to look uninterested.
"Yeah I do, you want to see me use it some more because I have some words for you"
She continued to monitor the location of the driver on her phone, but he was 45 minutes away. She sighed in defeat but she didn't want Michael or anyone to know. She wanted to remain defiant and keep the ball in her court hoping that he would beg for her to stay.
"What are you doing?" Michael sighed.
"What does it look like? I'm going home" she stated the obvious.
"But why?" He asked.
For a minute she stood shock as his voice appeared softened and sincere. She was used to the harsh rugged voice he had earlier this morning that he took her by surprise when he spoke. At this moment, his voice matched well with his angelic features as she made the connection. That small statement sent a shockwave through her core as she anticipated hearing his voice again.
"Because"
"Because what?" He stepped closer and spoke slower.
"Because I don't want to be around you" she stated matter of factly.
He chuckled at her slick lines but he could read right through her.
"What?" She asked becoming annoyed at his laughter.
"You're hilarious. You can't even name one reason to leave. You can't even say you don't want to be around me because you don't even know me-"
She quickly interjected.
"Based on this morning. I don't want to know you. I know enough, I know you like to blast music and when others apologize you don't know how to take it and just continue to be rude"
Michael sighed, sensing that he wasn't going to get anywhere with her. He was losing his patience. He didn't like how she continued to check her phone or tap her perfectly pedicured foot in her heel. He could tell that she was still pitching a fit. If she was his, he would devour her pouty lips and command she drop the attitude by taking her from the back harshly.
But she wasn't his.
He just wanted to try to salvage the evening and fast. He stepped closer to her and took her delicate hand in his palm. He stared in her eyes, making a mental note that they were honey brown. He watched intently as she swallowed and gazed everywhere else but his eyes. He liked having this affect on on her, hopefully she will listen, he thought.
"Tayler, I'm sorry for being rude to you this morning. It's just-it wasn't my day. It was my first day moving in and I had people coming to help me like my family but they flaked on me at the last minute so I had to do everything myself and then I was just trying to use music as some therapy to help me get through the day and here you come into my place and tell me to cut it down, I just couldn't accept your kind apology"
She continue to look around him and glancing at him every now and then. He was beautiful she kept repeating it in her head. His subtle lip bites that he did in times of awkward silence created a puddle in her panties. His captivated her as she could see right to his very soul. The eyes are very telling and right now she could read this man like a book and she enjoyed every page.
He was sincere, genuine, and kind. She could see all that in his eyes. Her core now was turning into mush as his touch had a profound affect on her whole body. She began to get goosebumps as his thumb stroked the soft skin of her hand.
She then felt an electric impulse go down her spine and shock each cell of her body, this feeling was new. Quickly retreating from the foreign feeling, she let go of his hand.
"You didn't have to grab my hand" she crossed her arms and turned her head.
He giggled at her as just a few minutes ago she putty in his hands and now she's the hard stone he met this morning.
"I'm sick of you laughing" she commented.
"You're just too funny. One minute you're letting your guard down, acting as if you're feeling me then the next you're a solid rock again. Dang girl, make up your mind"
"Feeling you? I am not feeling you. I wouldn't feel you if my hands were glued to you baby"
"Is that a promise?" He quirked a brow.
She grew silent looking away as his voice went from soft to now deep and seductive. She liked that he was on a different wave length, every minute he changed his style but his energy remained the same. He was genuine and kind.
"That's how I know you're feeling me" he pointed out.
"How?" She asked barely audible.
She looked over at him as he bit his sexy pink bottom lip that she desperately wanted to taste. She came close to just doing that as he closed the gap between them and resumed looking her in the eyes. His warm breath caressing her face.
"The fact that you can't even look me in the eye when you speak to me love" he spoke lowly.
She tried to prove him wrong by looking up in those doe eyes but she couldn't as she grew weak for him each and every time.
Who is this man? and why is she so attracted to him? Usually when it comes to men she's like a pitbull in a skirt as she doesn't get close to them. Sure she has been with men before but after heartbreak and letting men walk all over her she has learned her lesson about falling in love.
"Are you coming inside now?" He asked.
She snapped back out of her slight trance, remembering why she was upset. She was over the situation by now as she became bored with it and felt it was dragging out too long, but she had started so much trouble, it was too late to turn back now.
"No, I'm just going to go" she decided.
"After all that, you're still going to leave?"
"Wow, you care that much? Listen I don't know what you thought was going to happen on this date buddy but it's not happening. Not now, not here, now ever" she said proudly.
"Actually I don't care, but I do care about our friends in there. They seem to like each other very much and I know you care a lot about Natalie because if you didn't you wouldn't have went through all this effort to look beautiful to accompany her on this date"
She stood still as he finally gave her compliment for the night. She smiled inside knowing that he did notice her as she noticed him.
"Look I know you can't stand me for whatever reason but I hope we can move pass this. But if we cannot for whatever reason, I understand but please don't ruin the evening for those two" he gestured toward the window.
The two stared at Natalie and Keith as they laughed with each other as she snuggled into his arms in the waiting area of the restaurant. Just like Michael, Tayler noticed her friend did look happy and she didn't want to mess up the evening as she had already with her irrational behavior. She was hoping Nat could forgive her for being so stubborn and childish.
"Ok" she sighed.
She cancelled the ride and began to put her phone back in her purse. He watched her actions intently, just studying her. He liked her movements, he liked how feminine she was. How her messy bed hair was now bone straight, her nails matched her toes and her makeup was subtle and not caked on.
Usually he didn't care but this girl was beautiful, her air was different and he was starting to like it.
"By the way you look good too. You clean up nice" she complimented him.
"Was that a compliment? Wow, you are human after all" he replied.
"Screw you" she retorted.
"When and where sweetie" he winked.
"You are disgusting" she shook her head.
But kept the invitation in the back of her mind for later use.
The two begin to walk side by side back into the restaurant for the evening before Michael stopped her.
"And Tayler, you keep up with this attitude and I'll have you begging for me to let you cum"
Her breath hitched in her throat. She wasn't used to men being so forward. Yeah they wanted to sleep with her but to see this heavenly looking specimen say something so devilish, just made her want him more.
"Come on, let's have dinner" he called out to her.
Dinner is about to get more interesting.
