Two
"Do you think something is going on between Minho and Jisung?" Seungmin questioned Chan.
Chan sighed, he had noticed some things going on between the two since the fanmeet, but he didn't want to say anything until the right time.
"I don't know, to be honest,"
Seungmin pursed his lips, "I know I probably shouldn't mention this because it was told to me in confidence, but you are the leader and I think you should know, especially since you haven't been at your dorm for awhile but according to Hyunjin, Jisung hasn't been leaving his room or eating much lately,"
The older saved what he was working on and turned off his computer, "Minho is still in his vocal lessons, yeah?"
Seungmin nodded.
Chan got up and left the room.
"This might not end well," Seungmin muttered.
Entering the elevator Chan pressed the sixth floor button. Now he needed to know what was going on.
He sighed as he stepped onto the sixth floor. There were certain aspects of being a leader he didn't particularly love and this was one of them.
He knocked on the studio door, lips pursed. How was he supposed to approach this?
"Yeah?"
Chan opened the door and peeked his head in, "Hey, Noona,"
"Chan, hey, what's up?" the woman asked.
"Uh, can I talk to Minho for a moment? Something came up and it is important," Chan said.
The woman nodded, "I'll go get us a drink,"
Chan entered the room and the woman left.
"Is everything okay, hyung?" MInho asked.
"Uhm... I know I haven't been at the dorms much since I have been busy with some things, so I need to know if something has happened between you and Jisung?" Chan asked.
Minho shook his head, "He and I are fine. I mean we haven't been hanging out too much because of the schedules and stuff, but we are good. Why do you ask?"
"I was just wondering...I should go. Hyunjin needed me back at the dorm for something,"
"Chan, is everything okay, for real?"
Chan pursed his lips and nodded, "I just needed to make sure everything was okay with you two, because internal conflict is something we just need to make sure we work through,"
The brunet nodded.
The door opened.
"Oh, sorry, were you guys not done talking?"
"Ah, we are. I was just about to leave. I'll see you later, Min. Have a nice night, Noona," Chan said with a polite smile and bow.
"You too, Chan. Oh, and if you talk with Jisungie let him know I am open to do lessons with him tomorrow if he is feeling up to it, I know he wasn't feeling well today," Young-mi said.
Minho's brows drew together, "Jisung isn't feeling well?"
The brunette shook her head, "He texted me to let me know that he wasn't feeling well. Said he was going to stay with a friend so he didn't get anyone sick when I asked if he wanted me to bring him some soup,"
"Did you know about that?" Minho questioned.
"No, but my phone has been off for most of the day. I'll see if he is back at the dorms when I go back, you just worry about the rest of your lessons," Chan told him.
"Young-mi~ya, did he tell you who he was staying with?" Minho asked.
Chan was confused by the informal talking, especially for Minho, but he could worry about that later. Right now, Minho was fishing for a particular name.
"Minho, it doesn't matter. I am sure whoever he is with, he is safe. I will worry about Jisung, you focus on this," Chan stated.
Minho's jaw clenched and his lips pressed together tightly, but he nodded and sat down, body still tense.
Chan smile softly again, "I will see you guys later,"
He left, catching the elevator before it closed.
"Did you hear about the rumour?"
Chan raised a brow hearing what the staffer said. It was no secret that the staff gossiped amongst themselves.
It was fine. Chan often joined in and gossiped too, collecting all the tea to mention to other idols in the company.
"No, I didn't," the other woman said.
"Supposedly, Choi Young-mi~ssi and Lee Minho~ssi are dating,"
Chan's eyes widened.
"Oh, really? What about Jisung~a? I thought there was something there?"
"I heard that he and a journalist were together,"
"Ah... how are you getting all the news? You aren't even in their staff,"
The shorter woman shrugged, "It is all just rumours,"
"Which journalist is Jisung~a with?" The staffer questioned.
"Oh... I think Moon Jisu~oppa.. that was the rumour at least. He hasn't confirmed it though," the other said.
"You know him?"
The shorter of the two nodded, "He is my sister-in-law's brother. I don't know him well, but he is nice,"
"Do you think it is safe for them to be dating? At the end of the day he is still a journalist," The taller staffer asked.
"Eh, I don't think Jisu~oppa would do anything to hurt Jisung~a's career. Plus, I heard from my brother that Jisu~oppa doesn't like gossip about idols, he said it is a dirty business,"
The other staffer hummed and got off the elevator with the shorter staffer when it opened.
Chan took a breath. It was only a matter of time before both rumours got back to the people they did not need to get back to. It was like a ticking time bomb that Chan needed to defuse, before the time ran out and to be completely honest Chan had no clue how to defuse this bomb.
Not when both sides of the rumour seemed to be true at least.
