The fanmeet was fun, it was exhilarating even. Singing, dancing, performing, it was all so amazing.
Jisung usually always felt a little anxious when they were about to perform, but today, it was different.
Backstage they played games, sang, danced, and through all of it Minho was by Jisung's side. His hyung was there.
Of course Minho was always by his side, but today felt different.
The cold nipped at Jisung's nose and cheeks, it was at least 45 degrees out. It was probably two hours after the concert ended and energy was still flowing through Jisung's system.
He was supposed to be at his dorm and resting, but he couldn't, so he decided to go on a walk.
He was regretting it a little because he was cold. His puffer jacket wasn't helping. He meant to grab some hotpacis but he forgot not wanting to wait too long to go out and walk.
His mind went back to the fanmeet. Multiple scenes played in his mind.
Every one of him and Minho. Fans often said they were in their own world. Jisung couldn't deny it, because it was true. They were always in their own world, from the day they met onwards, they just had their own world
.
Their bubble. A bubble where they could be themselves...to an extent for Jisung at least.
There was always a small part of Jisung that no one not even Minho (with the exception of Felix) would ever know.
They would never know what feelings Jisung held for Minho. For his hyung.
"Han~ah,"
Jisung stopped walking, allowing the older to catch up with him. He figured someone mentioned to Minho that he had gone out and Minho decided to come find him or something along those lines.
"What are you doing out here? You should be resting," Jisung said.
"I could say the same for you," Minho said.
Jisung hummed and pulled his jacket a little closer to his body.
"Here," Minho handed Jisung a hotpack.
"What about you?"
The older showed him the other hotpack. Jisung nodded and took the pack, and held it between his hands.
They walked in silence for a while. Jisung's mind wandered back to the fanmeet.
"What are you thinking about?" Minho asked.
Jisung took a breath, "The fanmeet,"
Minho nodded with a small hum.
The younger of the two stopped walking and sat down on a bench, it seemed like the energy he had before was going away.
Minho sat with him, his hand going out to fix the hair that was in Jisung's face.
"It was fun. The fanmeet," Minho said softly.
Jisung nodded his permed hair bouncing a little.
"Is there something else on your mind?"
The younger bit his lip and took a breath, "Did we get too close?" He asked
"What do you mean?" Minho questioned brows drawing together.
"Did we get too close, hyung? Did we cross a line we shouldn't have?"
Minho blinked a few times, he knew what Jisung was talking about. He knew. That one moment on stage where everything just seemed to freeze for a minute.
It wasn't the first time they had a moment like that.
God, Minho couldn't count on his own hands how many times it has happened. Where the whole world would just stop and it was just Jisung.
It was just Jisung.
Minho doesn't know how many times he's been ready to risk it all for the younger.
But he has been ready to risk it all. He's been ready to risk his career, his reputation, his everything for Jisung, and that is scary.
He didn't want it to change though. He couldn't let it change, because if it did, he'd have to admit that they did cross a line. He would have to admit that something he believed to be impossible was truly possible.
"I don't think we crossed any lines...we are just best friends," Minho said softly.
Jisung nodded, his heart falling apart. He was like a porcelain doll with Minho.
Maybe that wasn't good, Jisung wasn't sure. Each word Minho said could break him to pieces or hold him together.
There were probably a million reasons why Jisung should let Minho go, but none of them seemed to outweigh the reason Jisung held on so tightly.
It felt like he was holding onto a rope, it hurt a lot, but it felt like if he let go of it he would lose something so important to him.
Jisung took a breath and stretched, "Ah, it is late and we still have a bit of a day tomorrow. We should head back to the dorms,"
"Are you sure? We can go get a late night snack or something," Minho suggested.
Jisung could see Minho biting his lip almost nervous.
He knew Minho well. Well enough to know that him asking that was a way to make sure Jisung wasn't upset with him.
The younger gave a smile, "Ah, I could go for some ice cream or something,"
Minho smiled and nodded, "Let's go,"
The two were out for another hour eating ice cream and talking. Then, Minho walked Jisung back to his dorm, then left for his own.
When Jisung entered the dorm he felt like falling apart. It felt like the night had worn on him and the conversation from earlier felt like it was picking at the pieces of his heart again.
"Sung?"
Hyunjin's voice felt distant even if the older was close by.
"Hyun..." Jisung muttered.
Arms wrapped around Jisung, easily hoisting him up off the ground. He wasn't sure how Hyunjin could still have enough strength or energy to lift him up.
If he was in Chan or Felix's arms he probably would've fallen apart. Scratch that. It seemed like in anyone's arms he'd fall apart.
They were in Hyunjin's room, Jisung knew that much. He could tell by the flowery scent.
Hyunjin sent him down on his bed and sat down next to him.
"What's wrong, Jisung?" Hyunjin asked softly.
What was wrong? Jisung couldn't tell at this point, all he knew was that his heart was hurting and that he just felt like crying.
Jisung hugged Hyunjin, tears falling from his eyes onto Hyunjin's neck.
Hyunjin sighed softly and held Jisung close. They sat like that for a moment before Hyunjin pulled away and helped Jisung take off the puffer jacket he was wearing.
Grabbing a couple tissues, he cleaned up Jisung's face a little.
These beds weren't the biggest, but it was okay.
"Do you want to go change, Sung?" Hyunjin asked, pushing Jisung's hair away from his face.
Jisung shook his head, he just wanted to be with someone.
Hyunjin pulled Jisung to lay down. His hand resting on Jisung's waist under his shirt.
"It will be okay, Sung," Hyunjin whispered.
Jisung nodded, cuddling closer to Hyunjin.
It was fine.
